Raytheon gets new Air Force order for 500 missiles

The Defense Department announced Tuesday that it is awarding a $171.2 million Air Force contract to Raytheon Missile Systems Co. for 500 AGM-65 infrared-guided Maverick air-to-surface missiles.
The order includes 200 AGM-65D Maverick missiles, 300 AGM-65G missiles, four AGM-65D guidance and control sections and eight AGM-65G guidance and control sections.
Shares of parent Raytheon Co. fell 41 cents to close at $52.55 on Tuesday.
