Chip testing equipment maker FormFactor Inc. said Tuesday that it named Chenming Calvin Hu to its board.
Hu, 63, has worked as chief technology officer of integrated circuits foundry Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and was the founding chair of Celestry Design Technologies, which was later bought by Cadence Design Systems.
He is currently the TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor of Microelectronics at the University of California, Berkeley.
FormFactor shares fell a penny to $20.91 in afternoon trading.
