KBR Inc. said Wednesday it has won a three-year contract from DuPont for maintenance and construction at 19 factories in the northeastern U.S. and Gulf Coast region.

KBR, an engineering and construction services company, will keep work teams on site at the plants. It did not disclose the value of the contract.

Its shares rose 54 cents, or 3 percent, to $18.28 in after-hours trading Wednesday, after closing at $17.74, down 19 cents from a day earlier.
