American Greetings Corp. said Friday its board declared a regular dividend of 12 cents per share.

The Cleveland-based company said it will be paid Jan. 4 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 23.

Its shares rose 41 cents, or 2 percent, to $21.03 Friday.
