Kronos Worldwide increasing prices

Kronos Worldwide Inc., maker of whitening pigments used in paper, paints and plastic, said Tuesday it is increasing prices for titanium dioxide products sold outside of North America and Europe.

The company said it is boosting prices by a minimum of $150 per metric ton, effective Dec. 1.

Shares of Kronos Worldwide fell 80 cents, or 6 percent, to $12.60 in afternoon trading.
