Sara Lee appoints chief information officer

Sara Lee Corp. said Tuesday it has appointed Anne Teague as chief information officer, effective immediately.

Teague will be based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Sara Lee is based in Downers Grove, Ill.

Teague, who is 50, was most recently chief information officer for Sara Lee International. She has been at Sara Lee since 2006. Before that, she worked at HJ Heinz Co.

Sara Lee shares rose 4 cents to $11.91 on Tuesday.
