Sandy Rios joined the Fox News Channel as
a contributor in 2005. She has appeared on
the O’Reilly Factor, Sean Hannity, Glenn
Beck, Neil Cavuto, and is a regular Friday
guest with Megyn Kelly. Whether defending
America’s Military, advocating for religious
freedom, analyzing presidential politics, or
the social and moral dilemmas of the day,
Sandy brings her unique perspective to a
wide variety of issues.
As host of the Sandy Rios Show on Chicago’s AM1160, she interviews
newsmakers and pundits like Ann Coulter, Steve Forbes, Former U.N.
Ambassador John Bolton, Juan Williams, Bill Krystol, congressmen, and
presidential candidates. Sandy was chosen the 2010 Radio Personality of the
Year by the National Religious Broadcasters. She has received an Angel
Award, a TESLA, and seven Silver Microphone Awards for her work in radio.
Sandy is a regular columnist for Townhall.com and a radio commentator for
the Salem Radio Network. She is the President of Culture Campaign, a
grassroots organization dedicated to involving citizens in the culture war.
As the former President of Concerned Women For America, the nation’s
largest public policy women’s organization, Sandy hosted a nationally
syndicated radio show that covered the White House, Supreme Court,
Justice and State Departments. She frequently appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS,
CNN, MSNBC, and guest hosted CNN’s Crossfire.
Formerly Chairman of the North Korea Freedom Coalition, Sandy has done
investigative work in China, Vietnam, North Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, the
Soviet Union, and India. She lived in Berlin, Germany for two years.
Sandy is married to an FBI Special Agent. She has a son who is a pastor,
married to an artist and together they have a baby boy named Moses.
Sandy’s daughter, severely disabled since birth, passed away in 2009. Sandy
was a professional musician and singer before embarking on her career in
radio and television.
