While Sharpton's on a apologetic roll he can say something to the family of Yankel Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum was surrounded and stabbed to death by a Brooklyn mob that was shouting "kill the Jews." The crowd had been whipped into a frenzy by Al Sharpton railing against "diamond merchants" with "the blood of innocent babies" on their hands. What was this all about? A young black child was killed in a traffic accident. Though the unfortunate death was clearly an accident, the fact that a Jew was driving the car that killed the black child was too much for Sharpton. His incitements eventually resulted in Rosenbaum?s death.
Sharpton?s apologetic odyssey certainly has to include the families of the seven employees of Freddy's Fashion Mart in Harlem. Freddy's, you see, was owned by a white Jew.
A Harlem store run by a Jew -- rich Sharpton territory. The owner of Freddy's rented his space from a black church and sublet a small portion of this space to a music store owned by a black man. The black landlord raised the rent on Freddy's Fashion Mart. This obviously meant that the owner of Freddy's, the white Jew, had to raise the rent on the black man who ran the record store. Al Sharpton rushed to the rescue of the oppressed black music store owner. Sharpton starts leading demonstrations. He screams to the crowd that "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business." Sharpton's mob starts yelling "Burn down the Jew store!" and "We're going to see that this cracker suffers." Finally the Sharpton-driven demonstrations erupt into violent disaster. A protester enters the store, warns all black customers to get out, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets a fire. Seven people die. Sharpton owes their families an apology.
For a more current apology, Sharpton can apologize to the Federal Election Commission for his campaign finance abuses that caused no small amount of money in investigation costs. The investigations resulted in a ruling denying Big Al any future matching funds plus a demand for a return for funds already paid. Those of you who think that Sharpton will actually return can join those folks who thought that Hillary really didn?t know where those billing records were ? in a corner somewhere.
The problem, of course, is that demanding apologies is a Democratic political sport, not a Republican one. So, why can't Republicans take a play out of the Democratic book now! Get on the record .. .demand Sharpton's apologies. See if you get any media coverage. It sure works well for the left.
*Those of you who are not fortunate enough to live in a market where you can catch my daily radio show, a number that is distressingly large, might wonder why I refer to John Kerry as ?The Poodle.? Let?s see: (1) He?s French. (2) He gets carefully groomed before important showings. (3) He?s a rich woman?s pet. My apologies to admirers of that noble breed.
