Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

And we love her.

We love her solid conservative values. We admire her love of God, family and country.

We know that she's tough, fair and passionate.

Tonight's debate confirmed it.

From the moment she walked onto the stage and shook Joe Biden's hand and was picked up on microphones saying, “Hey, can I call you Joe?” the night belonged to Sarah Palin.

From Iraq to Israel, she was crystal clear on foreign policy. On the war, her scolding of Obama and Biden of wanting to wave the white flag of surrender was spot on.

When she talked about education and the economy, she was running on all cylinders.

Let's face it, for both her critics and fans, tonight's debate was all about Sarah. That's because we know Joe Biden. We've heard him for years. We didn't expect any surprises from the liberal Democrat from Delaware. And we didn't get any.

To those of us pulling for her, Gov. Palin didn't surprise us, either. She's one tough lady.

“The Barracuda” delivered. She was well prepared for her showdown with Sen. Biden.

She was all business, reciting facts, policy and ideology with a smile. She did just fine.

And, Kathleen Parker, she strung complete sentences together all night long. I hope you were watching.

SHOW BIZ
Who remembers the old saying: Politics is show business for homely people? EXCEPT FOR SARAH PALIN! She shook people up and angered them because she's beautiful and doesn't go along with the program! Signed, Down on the Bayou

Objectivity and truthfulness
Your column was right on, Mike. Its puzzling when someone makes a charge like "can't string two sentences together" and there is no evidence this is true.

Actually, Palin has a lot of "presence" and appears to feel good in her skin as you said. She has a good appearance, maintains a good, constant smile, has her head on straight in matters of economics and politics. If Palin has any real fears, she sure knows how to control them.

In some cases, women have to deal more with subjectivity rather than objectivity and it clouds their vision, especially with children. Maybe Kathleen had too many kids.

TH has a stable full of good, objective, smart, talented female writers I have found to be truthfull. Thank god!. But, I bet they've got kids.

Sarah Palin has all the attributes to do great things for her country. Both Obama and Biden are people with so much EGO and so little love of truth and so much greed for power they will follow the socialist path to (personal only) riches. We have many subjective voters who have no idea they are being "had".

I have never bothered to read Kathleen Parker, and probably I used my time better anyway.
