GOP: "Where Are the Jobs?"

Before Democrats took Congress, the DJIA was at 14,000 and unemployment was at 5%. The utopian socialists said that all those jobs were low-end, no future jobs.

Boy, some of those would look good about now. Never thought I'd see a President and Congress who could make Jimmy Carter look good.

Many companies took their jobs and ran overseas or to Mexico for reasons other than cheap labor. Draconian environmental regulations don't exist in Mexico. In fact, there is very little regulation in Mexico. So the companies went to the NAFTA created industrial areas just south of the border, and pump pollutants into the New River, which runs north across the border and dumps into the Salton Sea, making a smelly mess even worse. There, we fixed that problem, didn't we?

Don't tell anyone I told you, but those jobs you are looking for are hid in a book called "Rules for Radicals" and if you can't comphrehend it, a book called "Liberty and Tyranny" will break it all down for you. I will agree with the President and Senator McCain, those jobs the Republicans were looking for are not coming back.

[1] By re-electing a Congress that had a 9% approval rating.

[2] By electing a man who never told us what he would do after the election.

[3] By getting caught up in a Hollywood movie. (the WRONG Hollywood movie)

[4] By wrongly assuming that this would all turn out all right.

[5] By staying home and not voting at all.

[6] By obsessing over the imperfections of John McCain.

[7] By passing up Mitt Romney when we had a chance to nominate a real contender. Once again, obsessing with imperfections.

[8] By worrying what Hillary would do as President.

[9] By voting for third and fourth party candidates.

[10] By believing that Barack Obama might...

Whoever is telling there will be jobs by the end of this summer is lying. They say it so people and businesses as a whole don't go into hyper-panic mood. What sort of economical downturn like this one will all of a sudden sprung from its depth of recession and create jobs by millions? The economy starts recovering starting by the end of this year and pick up steam by 2010, but NOT NOW. Even Reagan's conservative measures didn't yield any result for almost 2 years and even after than it was sluggish for a year or two. Stop deluding yourself. 2010, that's when the jobs will start coming back but in a slow "U" shape fashion. Logically speaking, this was a publicity stunt based on a redirect. That unemployment is at 10% is a direct result of the Bush recession bottoming out. These phony republicans know this. They also know that TARP wasnt designed to work OVERNIGHT. Did they actually expect the economy to turn around in such a quick fashion.

Obama and Congress passed the largest stimulation package in world history and it is creating jobs but you have to look in the right places. Acorn whose groups have received hundreds of millions of tax payer money is hiring. I just saw an ad offering people $10-12 an hour to be part of a "grass root" movement to support Obama's next con - healthcare. They just did not specify that grass roots was referring to a political operation and not marijuana so now they have a lot of PO'd people.

Apparently it's "cheap political theater, reminiscent of the annoying hippie protesters that cry and scream in the streets over every little thing” when our elected congressmen speak out against the results of govenment actions, but it's the public protesting when paid ACORN workers (at taxpayer expense) do it. At least the Republicans are doing it themselves while the Democrats use taxpayer money and others to do it for them. It's time to stop funding "community" organizations. It's just corporate welfare for the Democrats.

Cheap political theater are the street protests that libs held over and over again against the war, against G8, against BUSH, against pro-life, against the Marines, well, you name it. FOr a liberal to say these were Republican riots, er, I mean protests, is laughable. Want to know who fuels some of these protests? Check out the group ANSWER. We already know about ACORN.

If "we the people" don't stop Obama, Pelosi and Reid we will be left with a 2 class system - the Super Rich (billionaires) and the poor. These people are either crazy or stupid or both. Since when has anything that government does save money? Personally I would like to hear some politician raise the idea of a 2 year moratorium on any new laws and just spend the 2 years reviewing all the old laws that are outdated, don't work and aren't cost effective. Now that would be a real "breath of fresh air"

Some jobs create wealth. Some jobs waste the nation's wealth.

Government jobs take wealth from people who are creating wealth, Mr. O. Don't they teach that in the Ivy League?

Please, O, you own a wealth creating business. You own GM. Make GM competitive. Make it so productive jobs come back to the US and create real wealth for the nation. Tell your Car Czar your orders. Tell him to get busy. That's where we need "change we can believe in".

My neighborhood includes a lot of tradesmen, and most have let their employees go because they don't have the work for them, which is partly due to half of their earnings going to gov't. Businesses I used to refer kids to for internships and training are gone. The culprit is most defintely government largess, which offers dependency and mediocrity. Obama Land.

But wait, many of us have a part in what this country has become. We have elected what many call moderate representatives instead of the dour old curmudgeons who are tight with the dime.

Wake up America, it is time that these loons quit being elected. Really, how many new laws does this country need in a year? Yet, both Republicans and Democrats continue to pass legislation which strikes at the heart of self reliance, and free enterprise. I submit to you that you can't have one without the other.

Congress spent three hours blaming the president. That's what they did. That's their job as they see it.

I believe that everyone misunderstood Rep. Hoyer's statement. when he said "When you talk about jobs, you gotta talk about your experience you had. You failed, we succeeded.”
what he really meant was "You failed to lose jobs, but we succeeded." And you've got to hand it to the current administration and congress. They have succeeded in losing jobs at a faster rate than they thought.
