J.D. Thorpe’s resume ranges from Capitol Hill to national campaigning. As he learned the inner-workings of the Hill from 2006-2009 in the offices of Rep. Tancredo, Rep. Balart and Sen. Lugar, he took time to work in the War-Room at McCain 2008 defending the campaign ‘s virtue against media assaults. J.D. worked to encourage free market journalism while at George Mason University’s Institute for Human Studies. At the Patrick Henry Center he served as the resident historical intellectual and develops many of our relationships with citizen activists.
