The Democratic Party is putting politics over prosperity, obstructionism over opportunities, and the next election over the next generation. They are doing this by offering no solutions to our nation’s biggest economic challenges. Democrats do not care that their tactics only harm the economy and the dreams of millions of Americans. They are doggedly determined to deny what they view as political victories for a Republican president and a Republican-controlled Congress.

Congressional Democrats want to keep our economic progress in a cage. They want to obstruct individual liberties, the strength of ideas, and visions for a 21st century economic infrastructure to match our 21st century challenges.

Clearly, they think we are stupid. Fortunately, voters are not as dumb as Democrats think. Voters are growing increasingly tired of the deceptions, distractions and deceit.

Our nation’s economic eagle will be unleashed when we replace the income tax code and restructure the Social Security system. To set the eagle free, the American public must become more vocal and persistent in pressuring Congress to follow the president’s lead on fixing these two pillars of our economic infrastructure. Only then can our economic eagle soar.
