I think "Repeal" should be one of the the primary rallying cries of the conservative movement. I think if presented well, constructively & factually it's a rallying cry that a good percentage of moderates can rally around, too. And sadly, it's moderates who are the swing vote.

We must work in a very sober and serious manner to make a major statement on the first Tuesday of November, and then increase that effort in 2012. We must not lose our constitution to the revisionists.

Just like everything else Obama touches,it is ruined. The fruit cultivated by this Boy-President is not bitter,it is rotten,just as he is. Addressing one of the points in the article, home sales will not be taxed directly. If you realize a capital gain on the sale of your home in excess of the exemption amount ($250,000 for a single person, $500,000 for a person married filing jointly), that capital gain may be part of your investment income subject to the new 3.8% tax on investment income for those making exceeding certain income limits.

As for repeal, that will not happen until 2013 at the earliest. Obama can veto any repeal until January 2013, assuming that the repealers do not obtain veto-proof majorities (I don't think any November GOP wave will be THAT big).

Is there really hope for repeal of Obamacare and the other Obamalaws? Charles Krauthammer has a very depressing column in the Washington Post today saying the laws will be impossible to repeal. Add to that the fact that politicians of both parties love big governement and high taxes--these give them money, pork, and power to play with. I hope the Tea Parties can hold the feet of politicians to the fire and force them to give us back our freedom, but I'm not hopeful. Can anyone cheer me up?

The Browns better hope that people read this article and are scared. Because given the content of the article, and ignoring the inaccuracies like leaving out that some benefits of the bill have already kicked in while some of the things they describe as starting right away are actually phased in, it seems pretty clear that most people will see no change whatsoever from the things described above. In fact more people will likely gain benefits from being able to keep their children on their health insurance longer than will feel the sting of the measures above.
