As a conservative, I wish Doug Giles were a liberal.

His inane pop culture references and stale attempts at humor are enough to make one physically cringe while reading. ShamWow, folks? That bad boy? Giddy up? Come on. What’s worse, they shift focus away from the legitimate story of ACORN’s corruption.

He also committed an inexcusable breach in journalistic integrity by failing to disclose the fact that Hannah Giles is his daughter. In this case it’s ironically fortunate that he rarely has an original thought. If he made any contribution whatsoever to conservative mainstream opinion, this might become a fair cause for controversy.

You really did a great job raising this young lady. But I really wish this had been done at the same time in more than one office. MSM will not pay attention to this mess at all. I' in North Carolina, I have watched the news of the South Carolina Governor being raked across the coals by the self righteous Democrats. Demanding that he resign after it was reported he had a mistress in South America. The odd part to me is the fact that this revelation came barely a month after his statement to the press that South Carolina would not take any of the stimulus money from the Obama Administration....

Carolyn, Not falling in lockstep with the official party line on one issue doesn't make me naive or a secret liberal. I wasn't "tripping all over myself" to try and sound "oh so thoughtful and reasonable". That was simply my personal opinion. With a political arms race in full force, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) has raised almost $750,000 in less than 48 hours since his shout of "You lie!" to President Obama during the Wednesday address to Congress, almost matching the Internet-fueled haul of his likely Democratic opponent.

Because of the "incidents" in Baltimore and DC, ACORN has now been banned from "helping" with the census. When are they going to be stopped from receiving the $8.5 BILLION in "stimulus" money they are scheduled to get? Also, they should be made to return the (hundreds of?) millions they've gotten in the last 15 years.

...and maybe ACORN does support sex trafficking, but the Achilles heel of the filmmakers is a lack of patience.

If this is institutional, then they should have collected this from more than just one office. That's just good, solid research. Finding this to be the case at a multitude of offices across the country would have done their corrupt @$$es in for good and there's no way they could have denied that the problem wasn't endemic. It would've been sensational, hideous, and absolutely delicious to watch this juggernaut of bully tactics, voter intimidation, and Godless evil implode before our very eyes....

perhaps the most egregious aspect of this entire ACORN expose is the absence of coverage by the major networks and left leaning cable stations. Apparently only FOX news finds tax fraud, abetting tax fraud, abetting illegal prostitution, subjourning perjury, mortgage fraud, and a myriad of child endangerment felonies to be worthy of reporting. One might think that all of this funded (at least in part) at tax payer expense would register on some news desk radar.

The lack of coverage speaks volumes about the liberal bias of the press.
