Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Last week, The Washington Post reported on President-elect Barack Obama's plan to convert his campaign's massive digital database of millions of supporters' contact and background data into a location that will permit him to use that data legally as a tool of persuasion for his governing effort. The Post accurately characterized it as the most important presidential exploitation of a new technology for political purposes since FDR used the then-new radio technology back in the 1930s to talk to, persuade and galvanize the American public.

As someone who did political communications and policy work on Ronald Reagan's White House staff, I can only be admiring of the tremendous political power that these new tools place in Obama's hands. We spent our years constantly trying to get President Reagan's message to the public without having to go through the distorting lens of the Washington press corps. We made huge efforts to try to communicate with specific segments of the public. If we could have merely pressed a button and made immediate, direct, unfiltered contact with tens of millions of our strongest supporters (or any and all demographically and politically sliced and diced pieces of them), I would have thought I had gone to political operative heaven.

Of course, what would have been heaven for us would have been hell for the political opposition. But if we Reaganites didn't have such a technology, our Democratic opposition didn't have any technology of their own, either, so at least it was a fair fight (although the conventional Washington media leaned toward the Democrats).

But today, the conservative opposition to liberalism (in all its political, academic and media guises) at least has talk radio as a strong voice to our constituencies, and that has helped balance the advantage the liberals get from mainstream media bias. And we would have that technology to help counter the communicating power of Obama's new mechanisms.

So it is a political fact of the highest significance that the Democratic Party's leaders -- and perhaps the politically shrewd president-elect himself -- want to kill conservative talk radio legally by reinstituting the deceptively misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" (or perhaps the doctrine of localism, which would be equally lethal to conservative talk radio).

If they succeed at the foregoing, they would come dangerously close to silencing their political opposition. Such a calculated stacking of the political communications deck would, functionally, constitute an even more effective act of repressing dissent than Woodrow Wilson's World War I policy of putting war dissenters in prison.

For most of our history -- until very recently -- it was more often than not American liberals who stood in the watchtowers to defend dissent, both theoretically and functionally, e.g., Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Lucy Stone, Frederick Douglass, Mother Jones, Maurice Garvey, Woody Guthrie, Martin Luther King Jr., Cesar Chavez, Abbie Hoffman and Cindy Sheehan.

However, when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked at a Christian Science Monitor press breakfast in June whether she would support efforts to keep the talk radio-killing Fairness Doctrine from being re-established, the speaker replied without hesitation: "The interest in my caucus is the reverse," and Rep. "Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) has been active behind this (revival of the Fairness Doctrine) for a while now."

"Do you personally support revival of the Fairness Doctrine?" Pelosi was asked. "Yes," she replied spontaneously.

Now, there is no ambiguity about this issue. The Fairness Doctrine would require every show to be balanced in its political opinion, thus ending the viability of any business plans for a successful -- either liberal or conservative -- radio host. But because almost all successful talk radio shows are conservative, liberal Democrats are trying to kill it. They have been explicit. They say they want to take Rush Limbaugh's voice off the radio, as well as the voices of other leading conservatives.

For sheer shabbiness and moral squalor, it is hard to improve on Pelosi's revealing words: "The interest in my caucus is the reverse." She offers not even an obeisance to a principled argument, just the raw political fact that free speech and dissent via talk radio is not in the "interest" of her parliamentary "caucus."

The downward path of liberalism can be charted from the martyr's sacrifice of Martin Luther King to the political bully's grunt of Pelosi. Liberalism, once the champion of man's noblest human instinct for political freedom, is now just a self-admitted machine for power accumulation.

I suppose the rotating of liberalism and conservatism into the power of national office gives each cause the opportunity, in its turn, to relearn the honor of defending dissent in a representative republic such as ours. Now it is the turn of the conservatives. So as the liberals leave the watchtowers of freedom, conservatives are taking up our duty.

Among the new occupants in the watchtower is the Media Research Center, which has formed the Free Speech Alliance to defend dissent by organizing a grass-roots opposition to the re-enactment of the Fairness Doctrine.

Why in the blazes....
do we need to defend dissent?

"to defend dissent by organizing a grass-roots opposition to the re-enactment of the Fairness Doctrine."

dissent is guaranteed, protected free speech in the 1st amendment....is it not?

Make a martyr out of Limbaugh?
It's frightening to attempt to plumb the depths of Pelosi's thought processes. You come away aghast -- at how events, luck, money & the democratic system have catapulted such a person into power. The only plus is that the republic seems able to survive when dingbat voters send their dingbat reps to Congress. Somebody up there likes us.

How many "associations" will we ignore?
Who cares what Obama thinks? What do YOU think America? How many “associations” are we going to ignore and simply just let a CHICAGO THUG and Michelle Angela Davis Obama waltz in and DISGRACE THE WHITE HOUSE?

We have one last chance to contact the Electoral College to stop the constitutional crises that will result if Barack Obama gets sworn in without meeting the presidential requirement of being a natural born US citizen.

AMERICA IS CALLING – SHE NEEDS US NOW: PLEASE SIGN THE LETTER TODAY! Deadline is Thurs Dec 12 1pm (EST), takes 30 seconds, FOR THE COST OF A COUPLE PACKS OF SMOKES LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

LOL Great line and great thought.
There's a silver lining to every cloud?

pb. You echo my thoughts exactly...I keep wondering how we got so lucky as to have a moron for head of the House. She is so incredible!
But then there is Harry Reid ...another 'genius'
I know intelligence isn't one of the requirements for running for office but it sure would be a nice asset.

As for the Fairness Doctrine...Republicans have never been a party to charge on Washington, but this may be the straw in this whole mess.

Silver Lion
Dissent is in the constitution but didn't THE ONE say the constitution is outmoded and should be scrapped? Maybe thats the 2nd thing he is going to do after the crowning.

A childhood game
When we were young, my sister liked to dream up games for herself and her two brothers to play.
But, if it appeared that she would not win the game, she would change the rules in midstream.
Forgive me for failing to recognize Nancy Pelosi as the reincarnation of my now deceased sister!

F Doctrine is impossible
Because there are more than just two political polarities in this country. What kind of opinion balances out "moderate?" Anarchist? Theocrat? Marxist? What the heck are these idiots thinking?

And who will Judge? One man's conservatism (George W. Bush, for instance), is another man's left-wing, big govt. and high spending political snakeoil salesman.

Idiocy. Fight for your rights, people. They are coming for them.

Yes, Ovomit said the Constitution is full of "NEGATIVE rights" for the people! He has already ignored it in many ways. One is that he refuses to prove he's an American Citizen.

Another is he plans to give away our sovereignty! The bill he sponsored with the backing of Joe Biden (Senate Bill S2433) The Global Poverty Act. This bill has already been passed in the house. Should it pass the Senate it will be the end of our Constitution and our freedom.

This bill requires that all Americans pay a UN tax of $2,500 a year and mandates that we follow UN dictates! It will ban all firearms period! Thus destroying the Second Amendment.

It requires that the USA MUST consult the UN for all world decisions. And this is just part of it. All patriots should read this bill and do all they can to stop it!

commentary versus news.
Rush Limbaugh et al, are commentators.

They choose what subjects to cover, and their "take" or slant on these subjects is processed thru their world-view, their political perspective.

Actual news also chooses what subjects to cover, what is deemed newsworthy...but it is not supposed to slant or process those subjects thru any partisan or political perspective.

Most of us agree MSM has a conventionally liberal "take" on news.

A few news outlets are fair, but many do exhibit a bias to some degree.

But with the proliferation of news and commentary sources out there today, Americans can "customize" their news, so to speak, so as to comport with their predispostions and mindsets.

These new outlets confirm their mindsets.

I wish more people would scrutinize and question not only socalled news, which does contain some degree of liberal bias, but also, and this is very important, those "customized news sources" which are really nothing more than highly paid hacks aping the political views of the listener or reader.

And in this category I place the Limbaughs of the world.

For to many of talk radio listeners, what these talk show hosts say is "gospel", it is "news".

The lines between commentary and news are merged, becoming little more than political talking points.

Maybe Americans are too busy making a living to take the time to research and critique both socalled legitimate news, and commentary.

I am opposed to Fairness Doctrine, but Americans need to develop a healthy skepticism both for socalled legitimate news, as well as for commentary delivered via talk radio.

I was not familiar
with the Media Research Center. I went to their website to see what the Free Speech Alliance was doing to combat the Fairness Doctrine.

The FSA had a petition. I would be more than happy to sign a petition if I had ever known of a petition doing any good. I have signed countless petitions during my life, and not one of them has ever gotten any results.

When fighting against people such as Pelosi and others of her company, a petition is not going to persuade anyone. It will end up in the trash accompanied by a big hoot.

Does the Media Research Center really think that 500,000 signature are going to change their minds? Forget it. These people are determined to send our Republic down the toilet and they couldn't care less what we think about it. Conservatives are going to have to take to the streets by the millions if we are ever going to make any difference. That's the only way anything ever gets done in this country.

When was the last time you heard of a petition making ONE BIT OF DIFFERENCE IN ANYTHING.

Keep up the good work, Tony
Excellent article, thanks

Clinton / Obama Administration
Subject: The Clinton/ Obama Administration

Ever since 'almost president-elect' Obama began selecting his aiders and abettors in crime for his administration,I have wondered why.

Why is he giving his administration over to the Clinton's when he was preaching change for months? Surely,he didn't intend to regress to that! Just retreads and also-rans of Clinton fame. Crooks,Inc.

I even suggested he was being blackmailed by the Clintons, since the Clinton Machine never shuts down. Muck-Rakers,Inc.

Now,I was so excited to read today Camille Paglia asking the same question. A well-known writer and liberal from Slate sees a problem, too. I feel vindicated !!

Blankley and the Fairness Doctrine
Re; Blankley on fairness doctrine.

I suppose the fairness doctrines would apply to NPR and PBS. So Rush Limbough would get equal time with Moyer, O'Reilly wold get equal time with Charlie Rose; Fox News' Special Report would alternate with Lehrer's News Hour. Similar time sharing would be required at CNN and CNBC. Sure!!! I know I am delusional,

Ben Gitlow

Controlled by the
Obama and his whole campaign crew seem to be in the devil's pocket as they devise more devious ways to keep the power they have stolen by subterfuge and deceit! Yes they need to keep close tabs on the fools who voted for them!! Will they give them coupons or vouchers or just cigarettes and beer?

None of us know who Obama really is and what he stands for thanks also to the jackasses in the media who have sucked up to him. I hope that this revelation about the Chicago governor to whom Obama reportedly gave campaign advice in 2002, just keeps going until it reveals what a poor choice this guy is for the leader of the free world. He's certainly paid a lot to get where he is!! One lies and the other swears to it. How low can they go? We are unfortunately about to find out.

Obama, were he green and orange with purple spots, will not ever be my president. I am not ever going to be in his corner. The hand writing is on the wall; it's too bad so many people are looking into their pockets for the candy ObamaClaus promised to deliver to them.

Yes, I agree about marching to show our disdain for what they want to do to this country.

Don't look for logic
DancingBear made the point that the "Fairness Doctrine" makes no sense because there is no way to objectively pinpoint what is left, right, or middle.

It's important that we don't underestimate the Left's disdain for and ability to disregard logic and reason in their quest to silence Conservatives.

Ben & Jeffersonian Constitutionalist
Ostensibly, yes, the Fairness Doctrine would have to be as equally applied to The View, CNN, Air America, the Big 3, etc. as it would be to conservative talk radio.

In practice, however, that won't be the case. Who will have the privilege of deciding which outlets are in compliance with the Fairness Doctrine, if it's revived, and which aren't? The Obama Administration and its appointees, of course. So no matter how biased Pravda dba The MSM is toward the left while conservative outlets might be geniunely "fair and balanced", Obama's appointees will decide that Pravda dba The MSM AREN'T in violation of the Fairness Doctrine while conservative outlets ARE.

Remember when New York Senator Chuck Schumer called conservative talk-radio "pornography" which should be regulated by the government? How come he doesn't seem to take the very same view toward the product of Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt and the Hollywood industry? Because liberals, to BE liberals, have blatant and shameless double standards and hypocrisies - and the implementation and enforcement of a revial of the Fairness Doctrine will demonstrate that yet again.

I rolled-over laughing at the title
"liberals leave the watchtowers of freedom"--LOL.

Groats have usually manned the siege-engines against freedom.

Moral Squalor
Partisanship at the expense of the Good should be discouraged. The right to do the discouraging should be protected (and we have a war on terror partly for that reason). I don't care that much for my fellow Catholic, Pelosi. But it's a wondrous world, isn't it, when a headline reads: Dems and WH agree...

I've died and gone to heaven.

Freedom and limited government
Choice - An expansive federal government limits choice and personal freedom. Limiting the scope and budget of the federal government and leaving more decisions to the people and local and state governments increases personal freedom and choice.

Diversity - Giving people more freedom and leaving more decisions to the state and local levels increases the diversity of ideas and solutions that can be implemented, tested, and improved.

Unity - Having an expansive federal government causes division between those in and out of power and those who agree and disagree with what the federal government is doing. Limiting the power and scope of the federal government limits division and increases unity.

As usual, Blankley misses the point
It is not a battle between liberalism and conservatism that is the problem. It is an issue of concentrated power in the hands of two corrupt parties led by elites who think they know what ios best for "the people"!

Both major parties have accumulated so much power, that neither considers the Constitution, rule of law, or will of the people as anything other than principles to be cast aside as they pursue their own visions of what America is and should be. More big government, less personal freedom, more influence to the internationalists that hate America; the two parties have all but sold the country to the New World Order/One World Government agenda that permeates this world.

If we are ever to restore Constitutional self government, we are going to have to choose to do so by rejecting the corrupt two parties. The DEM/GOP/MSM propaganda machines have for far too long run the scam that there is no other choice, nowhere else to go. By perpetuationg this lie, 'we the people' have been duped.

Real change will come when we vote for it. I urge anyone who is concerned about the theft of our inheritance by the elites to visit my website, JOEOLIVAFORPRESIDENT.ORG

When I see...
...liberals start advocating a Fairness Doctrine for university professors, then I will acknowledge the possibility that this thing is not merely a partisan tool to shut up the 'wrong' speech.

Until then, this thing is merely another evidence that far too many liberals care more about their ideology than about civil liberties such as freedom of speech.

To Joe Oliva
"Both major parties have accumulated so much power, that neither considers the Constitution, rule of law, or will of the people as anything other than principles to be cast aside as they pursue their own visions of what America is and should be."

I am not best pleased with the behavior of either of our political parties, especially as typified by the big politicoes in Washington.

But the best I recall, it was the Democrats who wanted to throw out the overseas military ballot in 2000 (meanwhile shrieking 'let every vote count' in Florida). It was the Democrats who favor the 'Fairness Doctrine', which will have disproportionate impact on conservative free speech. Those who hate and revile the voting majority of California for DARING to vote the 'wrong way' on Prop 8 don't seem likely to be Republicans. And I'll bet that the liberal college students who routinely throw things at conservative speakers on campus are not exactly Republicans, either.

You can try to pretend that there is no real difference, but there is.

How Obama did really did and will do it
The Post is absolutely correct in identifying Obama's million voter internet data base as a powerful tool in swamping and cajoling the legislature and the media to get his "Way", both pre and post election.
Oprah's support gave him immense exposure in the primaries, Edwards further siphoned votes from Hillary and most importantly Blue State Digital, Boston, MA, a unique web focused PR organization developed the blueprint and executed his campaign financing scheme providing nearly a billion dollars. Without Oprah and BSD, we may well have had Hillary or McCain as the new President.
Read all about BSD in the Oct 2008 issue of Technology Review, in the highly informative article "How Obama Really Did It".

Dancing Bear
I think that is the plan of those supporting the Fairness Doctrine.

Since there are so many different viewpoints, it becomes impossible for station owners to balance the programming.

Rather than face the FCC over some infraction, the station owners will merely stop all political programming.

The liberals win.

Please don't
Don't think this is a united liberal idea. I voted for Barack Obama and generally consider myself to be center-left.

Any liberal who forms they're own thoughts, or anyone of any political persuasion for that matter, would see that the Fairness Doctrine is a completely stupid idea. I think a lot of liberals would be against any kind of censorship in disguise, which is what this is. I doubt Barack Obama will go forward with this idea and I would be willing to bet that if a bill reached his desk, he would not sign in. If the Democrats pursue this, and especially if it is passed, they will be condemning themselves. We don't need to effectively stifle idea's, we need to encourage them, no matter what side of the isle they are on.

It's my personal opinion that we should not try to silence conservative radio because it's pretty important for people to hear just how nutty, narrow minded, and absolutely not interested and/or selective with facts the conservative talk radio hosts are.

I listen to Beck, Rush, and Hannity just about everyday. Beck is kind of humorous, Rush is well...Rush, and Hannity is just painful to listen to. BUT, I would be very angry with the Democrats if they passed this and I CAN'T listen to them anymore.

Nate
It is certainly not a "liberal" idea in the truest since of the word liberal. Unfortunately, many progressives, democrats, etc. do not value liberty. While you may be against the Fairness Doctrine, there are a lot of powerful people in the Democrat Party that favor it.

limitedgovernment
I'm hoping not as many as you think. I haven't seen any posts anywhere defending the return of the fairness doctrine.

In any case, I have written my one democratic senator and my representative asking them to vote against any return of the Fairness Doctrine.

On a side note, the continued references to Obama being royal, the messiah, etc got old long ago. They really make the person using them sound silly and loony.

Watchtowers of Freedom
Welcome to the new fascist/socialist United States where freedom is only a concept paid lip service to in orde to manipulate the populace.

Basic facts to me are that people who are love struck with the pretender Nobama have no respect for the Constitution or are sorely ignorant of its magnificence and they must likewise have no respect for a lean government run FOR the people and that maximizes freedoms for all. It further seems to me that obsessive self-interest is what is driving the democrats/liberals rather than the ideals of liberty as envisioned by the Fore Fathers.

Cindy Sheehan!?!?!?!?
How on earth can you put Sheehan in the same list as any of the others????

They at least had some reason to push for change. Her only desire is national attention! (And money if possible.) She certainly did nothing to aid except as an accident. She abandoned her first son and only remembered him when he was killed. Then she abandoned her second son as well.

I really REALLY think you should reconsider your list!

ORIGINAL Government
Let's go back to the same federal government we started with. Let's see ... there was the Department of State (to deal with countries who were friendly), the Department of WAR (to deal with countries who weren't), and the Department of Treasury to pay for those two.

I think we'd be a LOT better off - and we might even be able to pay for them with a few bucks left over.

limitedgovernment:
The only people in the Democrat Party who favor the return of the Fairness Doctrine ARE the powerful ones in office. Their intention is to use it to put conservative voices out of business.

The original FD was a pain for a lot of people. One party would buy an ad ... and the TV/radio had to give the other one an ad for free. And so on. I saw some "fairness" on ABC prior to the election: one day they had a bit on Obama on evening news telling about all the wonderful things he planned to do. The next day they had a segment on McCain to be fair ... about all the things he was having problems with. To make matters worse, during an election year all you could see was politics, worse than now because both parties were insisting on 'fairness'. Let's just forget it, huh? Remember, if the Demos force radio to shut up, the Repubs can cause TV a lot of problems too.

There's that strawman again
Blankley and other commentators on the right should pay a visit to media at the other end of the spectrum to see how much amusement and bemusement there is about conservative claims that those darn liberals are ready to abolish the Fairness Doctrine. Regardless of what Pelosi may have said, there isn't a strong movement in favor of abolition. But I guess it makes a great bogyman, especially among conservatives who are feeling vulnerable about recent election losses and soul-searching about the movement's direction and prospects.

My own view is that a movement that invests a lot of its hopes in the likes of radio demagogues (e.g., Limbaugh and Savage) is a movement in serious trouble to begin with.

Conservatives just won't give this up
Conservatives don't get the Fairness Doctrine at all--for obvious reasons. No one is going to force Rush Limbaugh to allow some liberal traitor to get equal time on his show, although you'd never know this from Blankley's column. Instead, application of the Fairness Doctrine would require that the broadcaster make time available for the opposing position to be heard. Conservatives are upset about such a possibility because they fear that they really can't compete on a level playing field. In other words, conservatives want to retain a monopoly that works for them--Blankley's mention of the "business plan" of an outlet running Limbaugh kind of gives away the whole deception.

The Fairness Doctrine's Achilles Heel
I hesitate to make this point but since liberals think all conservatives are morons and have no cognitive ability, I offer this.

There is a distinct difference between "political" programming and "entertainment." If the Dems want to pick that nit, so be it but it won't stand the legal test.

So go talk radio, say what you want, pick the subjects you choose and make the points you prefer. Let the Dems make the connection between what is entertainment and what is sponsored political programming. We win, they lose, I rest my case.

This is currently illegal

Karl Rove wrote about this currently illegal activity in WSJ--the matter of Obama using his campaign database to directly lobby Congress:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122714421493443077.html

Leave it to Obama to circumvent this by creating a loophole. Does nothing stop this guy and his law firms?

"There are also plans to use the Obama campaign's email list to lobby for Mr. Obama's policies. The Chicago Tribune, reporting comments from Obama spokesman Steve Hildebrand, summed up the plan this way: the email list could be used "to challenge Democratic lawmakers if they don't hew to the Obama agenda."

Just one problem. It's illegal. There are statutory prohibitions on the White House from using tax dollars to directly lobby Congress by unleashing emails, calls and visits. That's up to outside groups to do.

Even giving the list to outside groups raises problems. Such strong-arming irritates allies, infuriates fence sitters, and enrages opponents in Congress. Lawmakers dislike grass-roots lobbying by those representing people in their states or districts. They'll be livid if the White House facilitates it. Gregory Craig, slated to be White House counsel, will likely put the brakes on use of the campaign's email addresses."

talk radio
Even though I'm a big fan of talk radio, I think it would be OK to bring back the Fairness Doctrine as long as it also included all the broadcast networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, definitely C-Span, all foreign broadcasts received in the US such as Al-Jazzira, all cable programs, all printed venues such as the NY times, Washington Post, KA Times, Time mag. etc., and all published university news outlets. Let's see now...who can we get to sit opposite, say, Keith Olbermann when he espouses his wisdom? How about Mike Huckabee, or, wait...I know! Newt Gingrich. Talk about Fairness Doctrine!!! This would be a sight to behold.

Gestell
We understand that Rush will not have to give someone equal time on his show. Forcing a station owner who airs 3 hours of Limbaugh to make 3 hours available for the opposing position is still a problem. If the 3 hours of the opposing opinion are not as profitable as another 3 hours of programming that he could have chosen, then he may have to rethink whether he should air Limbaugh.

This should clearly be an issue for anyone who believes in freedom.

reply to llimitedgovernment
Wait just a minute. You mean this is all about the bottom line? Whoa, and I thought this was about freedom of speech! Let's see now: Freedom of speech/bottom line. Freedom of speech/bottom line. Bottom line. OK, Now I get it. Monopolize the airwaves for the bottom line, but call it freedom of speech. Works for you right-wingers, I guess. And, as usual, you live down to my expectations.

Blankley's list
Yo, Blankley. What's up with that list of defenders of dissent? Conservatives have no use for any of them--bunch of leftist, humanist, atheist, hippie, dope-smoking, protesting malcontents, to a man and a woman. No conservative could admire such people. So, Blankley, are you joining us liberals like Kathleen Parker is? Cool.

Obama & the Internet
The internet is the perfect vehicle to intercept the failed policies of the Obama administration.

Obama's birthplace = Unlawful presidency
Churches burning, socialist flags waved on the white house lawn, they placed a crescent moon on the NY Christmas tree, a 2-bit wantabe mob is running what's left of the Chicago outfit from back in Giancana's day...

Look, Obama's not a natural US born citizen and therefore not eligible by OUR AMERICAN CONSTITUTION to be president in the first place. And the longer we ignore the BIG GORILLA IN THE ROOM, and this farce and imposture is maintained, the worse it becomes.

So far Obama’s only provided a Photoshop forgery of a birth certification. The fact is that the Hawaiian officials refuse to answer if the original certificate of live birth they hold in a vault is from Kenya or Hawaii. The burden of proof is on Obama. For $12 he could prove himself, but instead he’s spent over $10 million dollars trying to get around it.

Unlawful occupation of the Office of the President means no new valid legislation. No valid nominations, including to the Supreme Court. No valid Executive Orders. No lawful commands as Commander in Chief. Such a situation paralyzes legitimate government.

The American Independence Party is holding a press conference tomorrow to address just that.
http://aipnews.com/talk/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1323&pos ts=3#M4410

**********************************
But don't take my word for it, check out Obama’s forged birth certification for YOURSELF (all it takes is an 8th grade education and a year of Photoshop [or even Corel Draw for that matter] and you can see it's fake).

http://moniquemonicat.wordpress.com/2008/12/04/%E2%80%A2-la test-update-on-obama-birth-certificate-case/

There is only ONE reason Obama would post a forged birth certification on his website, and why he's spent $10 million dollars trying to avoid having to: he doesn't have a legitimate one to show the American public because he WAS BORN IN KENYA.
