Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

When it comes to national security and the war on terrorism, that is a big reason.

The same liberal unwillingness to get tough with criminals that has marked the Democrats, and the judges they put on the federal courts, for decades on end has now been applied to the captured terrorists for whom they want to create new "rights" that are nowhere in the Constitution or the Geneva convention.

Whatever the Democrats' new-found rhetoric about "supporting the troops," their track record for more than a quarter of a century has been one of consistently voting against military appropriations and appropriations for the intelligence services, as well as hampering the intelligence services with restrictions.

On foreign policy, Democrats continue to argue as if talking with our enemies is the magic formula. We should keep talking with Iran while they keep building a nuclear bomb, just as the western democracies kept negotiating with Hitler while he kept building up his war machine in preparation for starting World War II.

Today, people ignorant of history -- which includes graduates of our most prestigious universities -- have no idea how close the western democracies came to losing that war and what an unending nightmare it would have been for the world if Hitler and his Japanese allies had won.

Nor do most of the liberal Democrats, which is to say, almost all Congressional Democrats, seem to have any sense of what an unending nightmare it will be for western nations if Iran and the international terrorists it sponsors have nuclear weapons.

Against that background, those disappointed Republican voters who plan to stay home on election day to protest their elected officials' failings are seeing politics as a way to vent their personal emotions. That is a frivolous self-indulgence in a deadly serious time for this nation.

There's more than two choices!
I agree wholeheartedly that leaving the government of our nation to the Democratic party would be a horrible mistake. But I think it's time to stop putting our support behind the G.O.P. The Republican party has become nothing more than a moderate socialist alternative to the Marxist party of Hillary and Dean. The longer we leave them in power, the more out of touch they will become! "The lesser of two evils" is hardly a motivating platform. Believe or not folks, there's more than just Dems and Republicans to choose from! There's the Constitution Party, a party that actually represents the values that our nation was founded on, and that a majority of Americans still hold. All the people in our nation who hold to conservative worldview should quit towing the G.O.P. party line like mindless sheep and throw their support behind a party that actually pays more to their values than just lip service. If that happened, people wouldn't be able to ignore the Constitution party as just another insignificant third party. (There were quite a few "values voters" last election.) Maybe at first we might lose some ground; we wouldn't have the enormous coffers of the G.O.P. at our disposal, for instance. But regardless, it's time for people to stop voting based on electability and start voting based on conscience. If the voters who truly care about life, family, freedom, national security, the economy, and our American heritage voted based on their values instead of political strategy, things might start to change for the better in this country. I don't see that happening under Democratic OR Republican leadership. So it's time for the right to stop supporting the G.O.P. and start supporting a party that represents what we stand for.

A Solution to our Voting Problem
If we all would use the Constrained and Unconstrained analysis of polititions, IN THE
PRIMARY, as outlined in Dr. Sowell's book "A Conflict of Visions" you would have candidates representing YOUR VALUES in the following election.

Your problem is estblishing what your VALUES are...and then finding the politician that will represent your values where ever he or she is sent.

After I establish the Constrained or Unconstrained nature of the politician I ask myself what Jesus would do on the issues facing my vote; my next concern is how will my vote influence my national, state, county and city governments. Then I look at how a posssible vote decision might effect my family; and then how will my vote decision effect me as the bread earner in the family. Now my general election vote is a cake walk!

Democrat or Republican only enters my consideration in the primary.

All the above process must be completed prior to your vote in the primary. The general election is then a cake walk.
