Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

When Pope Benedict XVI was flying to Cameroon on March 17, he responded to a reporter who asked him to address -- in French -- the argument that the Catholic vision for fighting AIDS "is often considered unrealistic and ineffective."

The pope's answer was both charitable and candid, reflecting the Catholic view that sex outside of marriage and artificial birth control are always wrong.

It is worth noting, incidentally, that to the degree a society lives by these principles -- even if only for practical reasons -- venereal disease diminishes.

So, what did the pope say?

According to an English-language transcript posted by the Vatican, the pope first mentioned certain Catholic institutions that care for AIDS patients, and then said: "I would say that this problem of AIDS cannot be overcome merely with money, necessary though it is. If there is no human dimension, if Africans do not help (by responsible behavior), the problem cannot be overcome by the distribution of prophylactics. On the contrary, they increase it. The solution must have two elements: firstly, bringing out the human dimension of sexuality -- that is to say a spiritual and human renewal that would bring with it a new way of behaving toward others -- and secondly, true friendship offered above all to those who are suffering, a willingness to make sacrifices and to practice self-denial, to be alongside the suffering."

The Associated Press instantly issued a report datelined "Aboard the Papal Plane."

"Pope Benedict XVI said Tuesday that the distribution of condoms is not the answer in the fight against AIDS in Africa," reported AP. "'You can't resolve it with the distribution of condoms,' the pope told reporters aboard the Alitalia plane headed to Yaounde, Cameroon. 'On the contrary, it increases the problem.'"

Almost as instantly, the Human Rights Campaign, a homosexual-rights group, responded through Harry Knox, director of its Religion and Faith Program.

Now, Knox could have simply stated his contrary belief that condoms are indeed the answer to AIDS. But, instead, he issued an ad hominem attack, accusing the pope of "hurting people in the name of Jesus" and "morally reprehensible" behavior.

"The pope's statement that condoms don't help control the spread of HIV, but rather condoms increase infection rates, is hurting people in the name of Jesus," said Knox in a statement posted on HRC's Website. "On a continent where millions of people are infected with HIV, it is morally reprehensible to spread such blatant falsehoods. The pope's rejection of scientifically proven prevention methods is forcing Catholics in Africa to choose between their faith and the health of their entire community. Jesus was about helping the marginalized and downtrodden, not harming them further."

Standing alone, Knox's attack on the pope would have been an outrage. But it was only the latest of Knox's anti-Catholic diatribes posted by HRC.

In December, the church declined to support a U.N. resolution calling for the decriminalization of homosexuality because the resolution also equated all sexual orientations, a provision the church believed could be used to pressure nations into legalizing same-sex marriage.

Knox accused the church in this instance of signaling that violence against homosexuals was acceptable.

"By refusing to sign a basic statement opposing inhumane treatment of LGBT people, the Vatican is sending a message that violence and human rights abuses against LGBT people are acceptable," he wrote.

He called the church's position an "immoral stance in the name of religion."

In 2007, when a Catholic bishop in Wyoming decided a lesbian couple promoting same-sex marriage should not receive communion, Knox accused the church of "insulting" Jesus.

"In this holy Lenten season, it is immoral and insulting to Jesus to use the body and blood of Christ the reconciler as a weapon to silence free speech and demean the love of a committed, legally married couple," Knox said in an HRC statement. He added that the HRC was grieving "over this act of spiritual and emotional violence perpetrated against" the lesbian couple.

On March 17, the same day he attacked the pope for "hurting people in the name of Jesus," Knox told the Bay Area Reporter that in supporting California's Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage, the Knights of Columbus had "'followed discredited leaders,' including bishops and Pope Benedict XVI."

Three weeks later, on April 6, President Obama named Knox to his Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

That day, Knox told Fred Lucas of CNSNews.com that he "absolutely" stood by his comments to the Bay Area Reporter. On April 15, White House Spokeswoman Jen Psaki told Lucas the White House would not comment on Knox's comments to the Bay Area Reporter.

Is virulent anti-Catholicism no bar to serving in the administration of President Barack Obama? It appears so.

Are You Surprised?
Obama is going to speak at the Notre Dame commencement and receive an honorary doctorate even though most of the students and the council of Bishops oppose this bestowal. His radical and criminal view on killing babies is abhorant to the Catholic church. I am not a Catholic church supporter, but do value their defense of the unborn and partially born children. Why should we be surprised that members of the Obama administration are Catholic hating bigots; who preach tolerance yet are intolerant of those who oppose their agenda?

I'm Not Catholic
. . . but I am a strong moderate to conservative Protestant. Bigotry against the Catholic Church is bigotry against all of us.

obama, the fraud and imposter, is

generally opposed to a righteous and holy society.

He knows, as do most adults, that if a society were to try its best to live by the Catholic Church's teachings on sexual activity and marriage it would reduce its incidences of violence and poverty by 90%.

He knows this and does everthing in his power to prevent it (respecting marriage and sexual activity) from happening.

It is no secret who obama's, the fraud and imposter, master is.

Almost all of obama's, the fraud and imposter, policies to date are detrimental to a just and loving society.

Why he wants to destroy the America we love and that is the world's best solution to government is hidden deep in his heart.

obama, the fraud and imposter, is a

bigot himself. it should surprise no one that he seeks bigots to serve in his administration.

Another ignorant, dishonest,
hate-filled homosexual --Knox-- accusing normal people of being bigots and Christian leaders of rejecting Jesus. Yawn.

A Mark Against Obama
This piece alarms me: if true--and it looks extremely solid--something needs to be done...by President Obama.

Perhaps he can do something, start something pro-Catholic, not anti-Catholic, at the Notre Dame speech.

As for what is truly Catholic, we have a manifold standard: Scripture, Official Church Teaching and Tradition. The Magisterium's teachings are all gathered together, more or less, in the Catechism of John Paul the Great (with great help from his friend, Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict).

Matter of authority again…

This is more about defaming those who affirm the Law of God. In this respect there is no difference between Pope Benedict and Miss California. It’s a matter of authority.

The statists can have no authority, but the state. Christians have the notion that God’s Law is a higher authority to which the state is accountable and can be judged by the people with open Bible. The original Americans also thought so. That is the original meaning of the term ‘rule of law’; the Law of God would rule the nations, rather than the arbitrary laws of autonomous men.

Obama gets a pass because he does not affirm the Law of God. He affirms his prospects of reelection as the anti-statesman and avowed enemy of personal liberty and prosperity.

Valiant perhaps, but not very truthful
So, if "rule of law" means "God's law" and not the laws of the state, why aren't we killing all those who are eating cheeseburgers?

gays
On O'Reilly the other night he had what I thought was a good point. When the Miss Calif fiasco happened wouldnt the gay community been better served if they had come out ( so to speak) and said Miss Calif in our opinion was wrong but we defend her right to free speach. I honestly think that would have worked wonders with people that may not agree w gay marriage. Instead we are left with that loser P Hilton to be their spokesman. A little of topic i know but I wonder what others think.

Corroborated by Uganda
where President Museveni (born-again "Protestant") designed "ABC" program to fight AIDS (and also, collaterally, VD's) successfully:
(A)bstain (until marriage)
(B)e faithful to your spouse
(C)ondom, if you fail incorrigibly at A and B

I am Catholic
And I love it. Sometimes truth is better seen by contrast. It's classic Barak and liberal lefty haters of true faith to find the one or two homosexual-rights groups associated with religion and make an appointment from one of them; then all orthodox faiths have to go to him/her for money--and there's a certain humbling attitude one needs to obtain money/services from the others. It's an inversion of the dynamic that is generally present to orthodox faiths and the LGBT community. I have to think there is some gratification from all this he receives. Yeah, he couldn't find any other Lutheran, Evangelical, or Buddhist to run the department. It really provides a snapshot into the heart of Obama, both in his feelings about homosexuality and orthodox Christianity. He's telling us what he really thinks about the current set-up of things. At least, that's how I see it.

And this seems consistent with that strange tendency of Barak to "gloat" over people he beats or has under him. It's never just enough to win, he has to gloat and jam it in their face (Rush, McCain, Bush, CIA Attorneys, etc.). It's all so unneccesary, ungracious, unbecoming, and small of him.

Does he understand the term?
Jeffreys doesn't seem to understand what an ad hominem argument is. And ad hominem argument is one that attacks the character of a person rather than addressing the arguments. The examples Jeffreys gives are all ones in which Knox takes on the positions and statements of people.

If that were to count as ad hominem than any moral teachings that marked some behaviors as immoral would therefore count as ad hominems. Somehow I doubt that Jeffreys would want his article to count as ad hominem because it makes moral accusations against Knox, nor should it be so characterized. But it is equally silly to pretend that disagreements about what is moral are ad hominem attacks.

anti-Catholicism
Did you ever notice how gays love to bash Catholics?

Because they know Catholics are a safe target.

Gays would never dream of bashing Judaism or black Protestant Churches.

Obvious Bruce never read Bible correctly
"seething kid in its mother's milk" actually referred to a Caananite ritual practice which involved PRECISELY boiling a young slaughtered goat or lamb in the milk produced by its mother--NOT the overbroad "no mixing of dairy and meat" of Kosher dietary law.

Capitol punishment for violation of Kosher dietary law would create a "temporal paradox" due to Abraham's own violation of it (by preparing veal korma) in Genesis 18:1-15. (since Abraham would have been punished, no birth of Jacob,..., no Moses to receive Law).

The Catholic Church teaches
That the ideal is to abstain from sex untill marriage, to marry for life, and to have sex only with your spouse, while those who do not marry are called to abstain from sex. Those who do not understand the Theology of the Body may think this is not rational or realistic, but it is hard to see how people actually choosing to follow this teaching will increase the spread of AIDS.

Furthermore, how can those who choose not to follow this teaching blame Church teaching for the consequences of their actions?

It has nothing to do with cheeseburgers. Learn more about the Christian understanding of Kosher law and its relationship to Christianity.

Herman...
How about gays attacking the Muslim faith, which holds the same belief about homosexual marriage as the Catholic Faith does?

I somehow don't think I'll see a protest in front of a mosque any time soon. I guess that would take too much courage of these cowards.

Bruce
Your post of 1:51 p.m. again shows the ignorance of Christianity displayed by liberal posters.

Here's an idea: Read the Bible, the whole Bible, and then get back to us.

Lon from PA
To quote the article: "But, instead, he issued an ad hominem attack, accusing the pope of "hurting people in the name of Jesus" and "morally reprehensible" behavior."

Those statements are not an attack on the character of the Pope?

Wasn't the Pope using...
his spiritual discernment of what lies beneath all this condom stuff? That is the true state of the human condition of ignorance, willfulness, selfishness and immediate sexual gratification which underlies the spread of the HIV disease. His concern is the human soul. Does wearing the covering of a condom falsely release someone for feeling any responsibiity for their actions? How many men actuallIsn't HIV spread through sexual contact and through the mother's blood to the fetus? Can you wear a condom over your soul?

I see government furnishing these artificial devices like condoms and abortions. Is it our society and its leaders that want everyone to be relieved of having a conscience about any thing they do? Condoms will keep you safe, and abortions are your way out.

Isn't this the purposeful deconstruction of society's morals by giving a false sense of accountability? Oh look, I'm using a condom!. Oh look, I'm being responsible by having an abortion. Oh look, I don't believe in anything outside myself. This is the FALSE moment the rising sea starts to recede or whatever Pharaohbama's grandiose spew was. He is trying to steal people's souls. And a soulless society will not long survive. Check out the Roman decline with their horrible, soulless spectacles near the end of their empire.

Pharaohbama showed no interest in the National Day of Prayer. He had symbols of the name of Jesus covered (just like a condom!!) when he spoke at Georgetown U. Does anyone really think he is accidently making these choices--Knox a case in point.

These radical and devious people he has appointed are surely part of his bible: Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals. What a clever devil!!!

Herman - - anti-Catholicism
"Did you ever notice how gays love to bash Catholics?" They know that the church won't kill them. It's pretty much why PETA terrorists target old ladies in fur coats instead of Hell's Angels with leather jackets. Actually, I'd pay money to see that.

Husker2, you may be correct
that Bruce has never read the Bible AT ALL. I have seen more knowledge of Bible from someone who "navigated" it using another religion's book (myself--based on comments I actually overheard, the other book was Hindu epic Mahabharata).

On PA's lon, the matter is simpler--he's devoid of both intellect and character so he rants/shills/raves lots.

BTW, the title also works as double-entendre; while Jeffrey uses it to describe Henry Knox, the other meaning (0bama IS a Catholic Basher) also works very well.

Laughing Hysterically
Us libertarians told you this would happen years ago.

When Bush introduced Faith Based Initiatives, what did he think was going to happen when a Democrat got elected?

John Adams once quipped that the state would corrupt the church long before the church ever made the state more moral.

You all opened this Pandora's box by legalizing funding religion with state money.

Suffer the consequences.

All the while us libertarians laugh hysterically at your all to predictable stupidity and the outcomes derived thereof.

The King Elect O is likely to
get more of an eyeful of demonstrators (he never saw any tea parties) than his small mind can imagine, as people are loading their cars to go to ND to protest.

Students are threatening to turn their backs, as surely they would do to Bush.

And alumni have elicited 340,000 signatures opposing the invitation to O to begin with.

As to the Pope and news reports, the *news* today corrupts everything, only quotes what it wants to hear, and denigrates religion, cons., the guy on Main Street, and any non-leftist expression. Talk about censorship. The gov't could never do such a good job.

Anybody Here For Condoms . . .
. . . to prevent HIV? Hands up, now! Okay, now is there anyone here criticizing the Pope for his stand on condoms who would knowingly have sex with an HIV positive person and rely on the condom to prevent HIV?
Hands up, now! Okay . . . anybody?

It's Percentages People
What are the chances of someone who is not sexually active contracting and spreading AIDS (besides mistakes from transfusions, etc.)? It is practically zero. Now, what is the fail rate of condoms? 5%? 10%? Really, I don't know, but I'm sure it's not a trivial amount. So the Pope is just stating the better solution to the AIDS problem. But people hate it and slam the Pope because his solution is the more challenging road.

It's like jumping off a cliff into water. Suppose there is a 5% chance you could die. What is the best way to ensure your safety? DON'T JUMP! Sure, you may not have as much fun as the cliff jumpers, but no one said doing the safe and practical thing was easy.

If you place a condom under 10X
magnification, you can see holes like Swiss cheese.

Not that may stop some sperm (which are rel. large), the bacterials (*clap* and syph), bugs (paramecia), and some fungi, but a virus' shadow can only be seen by an electron microscope on 100,000X magnification.

Now, the authorities can proclaim over and over that latex will stop the HIV virus, but if you looked at a condom under a school chem. lab microscope, you might be doubtful.

I am
an Evangelical, fmrly raised Episcopalian (low church) and I appreciate the Popes leadership on these issues.
And yes, I believe the Pharoahwannabe is going to get his eyes opened. His arrogance and ego will not allow him to surrender, I will be very surprised if he does back out of the N.D. speech. It's not in his character, he revels in the idea of rubbing horse apples in his
"enemies" faces.
I just like to remember that God allowed Pharoah of Exodus just some much rope. Pharoah had chances to repent after each plague but he
stubbornly refused and in his arrogance decided after letting God's people go, to chase them down and kill them..only he was the one who lost the war he declared against God. Obama
has declared war on the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob..his day will come.

Hard to believe
This issue is certainly not difficult to understand, men want what they want when they want it! Don't tell them they cannot have it lest you be named a prude. All invective to be hurled at you immediately. Why how dare you Preach to me you sanctimonius putz.

Telling the world the truth is dangerous and always has been! You will generally be hated for it because they have no desire to hear it, only the desire to have what they want, now.

The King Elect O has just
backed out of publishing *abuse* pix. Must have been a little common-sense pressure there.

Big O has also changed his website so he no longer supports *gay* marriage or wants to repeal the Def. of Marr. Act.

The King in Training is between a rock and a hard place on closing Gitmo, as NO ONE wants leftover detainee terrorists located in their neighborhoods, not even Pelosi and Reid.

I am not Catholic either but I support the stand for life on the abortion issue, oppose the anything-goes culture of the media and entertainment, and the Roman Catholic Church is the ONLY org. in the US that faithfully promotes a religious community--certainly my church is at the moment all hot for cap and trade and *Mother Earth* and not much for Jesus.

You can still email ND and/or the office of the pres. to make a protest. If I were closer, I would go and demonstrate with Alan Keyes and the faithful.

Objecting to the Pope's stand on
condoms and his inaccurate information on HIV/AIDS is not catholic-bashing. It is setting the record straight.

As a healthcare professional, I know for a fact, and there are lots of credentialed studies that correlate a signficant reduction in HIV infection rates with condom use. There is no cure presently, only effective, expensive treatment, which many in Africa cannot aford.

The women of Africa, often do not have choices with regard to sex or marriage; condoms are the only hope they have of avoiding infection from a potentially infected husband. The pope's comments were a reckless disregard for the lives of women, their present and future children and give license to men to continue to be reckless. The men of the church [there are no women in the hierarchy for those of you who do not know that] should stick with religion; leave the public health matters to those who actually know how to deal with these matters "on the ground".

Alice
Thanks for your post. Facts, like condoms are important to stop AIDS, goes counter to the millions that Bush handed to so called faith based groups who told Africans to just say no.

Anti-Catholic Man Hater Agendist Alice !

It has been clearly established that few people outside a handful of high-risk groups use condoms consistently, no matter how vigorously condoms are promoted. Inconsistent condom usage is ineffective—and actually associated with higher HIV infection rates due to “risk compensation,” the tendency to take more sexual risks out of a false sense of personal safety that comes with using condoms some of the time. A UNAIDS-commissioned 2004 review of evidence for condom use concluded, “There are no definite examples yet of generalized epidemics that have been turned back by prevention programs based primarily on condom promotion.”

Vampire's Reflection
Many columns ago, I promised myself I would not respond to you because your posts seemed to be from an uneducated middle school student who came on Townhall just to get a reaction.

However, you have now goaded me into it. Congratulations!

You wrote: "You all opened this Pandora's box by legalizing funding religion with state money."

Pray tell, how did the Faith-based initiatives fund religion?

And please don't bore us with a response about money going to Catholic Charities or homeless relief agencies. That argument was discounted years ago, even by the most liberal Americans.

Taft
Get with the program!

Even the most ardent Bush-hater agreed that George Bush helped Africans more than all the presidents before him combined.

You need to read more.

Alice
Are you working to rise above your CNA status?

Husker 2
" "But, instead, he issued an ad hominem attack, accusing the pope of "hurting people in the name of Jesus" and "morally reprehensible" behavior." is an attack on the character of the Pope, but it is not an ad hominem attack. Not all attacks on character are.

Knox is responding to the Pope's use of his authority as Jesus' reputation on Earth to discourage people at high risk for AIDS from using condoms. Contracting AIDS because you choose not to use a condom because a religious leader tells you you should not, does hurt.

An ad hominem attack is not simply an attack on character, it is an attack on character in the place of an attack on the argument being made. This is an attack on the argument being made which leads to a conclusion about character.

Note, as I said above, Jeffrey's article is an attack on the character of Knox. When he accuses Knox of virulent anti-catholicism he is attacking Knox' character. But Jeffrey also is not making an ad hominem attack. The question of whether Knox is virulently anti-catholic is central to the issue being discussed. It would be an ad hominem attack if Jeffrey attacked Knox for being a sodomite, because that is beside the point at hand. But an attack on character where that is relevant to the point being made is not an ad hominem.

Responding to BeReasonable's 16:15
Failure rate of condoms as BIRTH CONTROL (source CDC) is actually 15-20%.

Very sobering, when you consider that diseases are active 24/7 while ovulation isn't.

Husker2
I thought so too, until I started to look into the matter closer. I wish it were true, Bush could do with one good policy as his legacy. They spent millions, but not on good science and wasted our money.

AIDS and Evangelicals
Having Evangelicals go to Africa to stop AIDS was a colossal mistake. It would be like putting them in charge of a commission investigating torture.

"While Catholic and Protestant churches have been running AIDS programs since the 1980s, few evangelical Christian groups have done so. Indeed, as the deadly virus spread around the world, many evangelical Christians were silent or worse. Jerry Falwell called AIDS God's judgment on promiscuity, and former Senator Jesse Helms, a longtime congressional ally of the evangelicals, told The New York Times in 1995 that AIDS funding should be reduced because homosexuals contract the disease through their "deliberate, disgusting, revolting conduct."

Taft
And you expect us to roll over when you quote Epstein?

She worked for such evangelical interests as the Human Rights Watch and the Rockefeller Foundation.

Since you quote Epstein, how about quoting her work that found much of the AIDS in Africa was not from "promiscuous behavior," and yet occurred because of promiscuous behavior among those in long-term relationships.

Gee, that sounds like the gay marriages in San Francisco.

Alinsky's Elves Attack
Saul Alinsky (a must read for all conservatives who want to understand how the Left operates) said that to establish a Socialist America it was necessary to ridicule and enrage traditional Americans in order to marginalize them. That pretty much sums up the activity of a lot of the leftists on this board. Seriously, read this man's work (borrow it, don't buy it). You'll see exactly how the leftist trolls are trying to defeat us, and it's nothing like how we want to fight-- fact by fact.
Also, all attacks on Christians seem to involve the idea that Christians must be perfect or else they're hypocrites. That's another idea of Alinsky's disciples. I've never known a Christian (or anyone else) who was able to completely live up to their ideals. This is just another dishonest argument.
Most of what the left does involves ad hominem and/or illogical attacks. Call them on it and respond with facts. It makes them crazier.

daft: YOU ARE STILL AN IDIOT!

"I thought so too, until I started to look into the matter closer."

Not only is your English abominable, you drop these little bombs of "supposed information," but you never back it up...

And, you're always WRONG!

Robert
Christians have always been attacked, or, literally thrown to the lions. That is why Jesus told his followers that they would be abused and that the world would hate them. The important thing is to do the best one can and to read, read read the gospels.

Perhaps....
Perhaps, Harry Knox suffers from "Cathophobia".

Direct Line?
Wow, Does Knox have a direct phone line to Jesus? He seems to acting his spokesperson.

And as Robert said, Christians are not perfect. We are to aspire towards that.

Maybe Notre Dame
should have invited Knox along with Barack Hussein "no-BAIPA" Obama to speak at their commencement.

Evil Condoms
Consider a 48-year-old woman with three or four adult children and her first grandchild. She's approaching menopause and what had been normal has now become erratic.

This couple still enjoys a sexual relationship, yet they do not want to start over with a new baby...bringing up another child. They are now in the grandparent phase of their lives.

One or both of them believe using condoms is sinful. Same with "the Pill" and vasectomy.

Surely many Catholics fit this description.
What's the solution to this dilemma?

As I'm well past this phase of life, my question is for others dealing with this.

Obama bashes Catholics, do they care?
I guess it depends on what you call Catholic.
That's the problem when using religious terms. When someone says, "I'm Catholic", just because someone "grew up Catholic", it doesn't mean very much. Let's fact it, IF you voted Democrat, logically you CANNOT be Catholic, no matter how much you call yourself one. It's EXACTLY the same in the conservative Protestant
denominations. The biggest difference there is, unlike the Catholic Church, which doctrine for a whole world comes from Rome, there are many different Protestant denominations, from the very conservative ones, as I belong to, to some so "progressive" in doctrinethat old Satan himself could be a member. Actually those seem to be the most popular right now.

Know the Enemy
Know the Enemy
The basis of politics is religion.
Politics is the battle between good and evil.
The basis for the battle between good and evil is the salvation of the human soul; who is saved and goes to heaven, and who is damned and goes to hell.
The battle for the human soul is between the Devil or Satan, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Those allied with the Devil are Anti-Christians and they are constantly at war with Jesus Christ and his Church, the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
The enemies of Jesus Christ and His Church are those that worship the body and the material world and who are opposed to the dignity and freedom of the individual.
The Enemies of the Church and Jesus Christ are: Communists, Socialists, Atheists, Materialists, Secular Humanists, Polytheists, Pantheists, Homosexual Activists, Abortionists, Secret Societies, all Governments that prohibit free speech and free worship, and all Activists that work to suppress Christians, Christianity, and Christian morals.

Fabius Cunctator is wrong as usual!
The basis of politics is no religion; it is the art of self-interest and self-perseveration. Religion just adds the "god almighty element" to the deliberations between competing entities; religion doesn't solve problems and most wars in history all had competing religious beliefs at the heart of the matter.
Politics is not the battle between good and evil; it is the stage for competing ideas and interest. So is war for that matter!
The battle for the human soul is a private matter, best left to the person in whom the soul actually resides.
The enemies of Jesus Christ and His Church are. . .sure to include yourself in this list as I bet you fit in due to you attitude of self-rightousness, self-indulgence and know-it-all attitude.

Alice

Alice, that is the trouble with politice. Fabius is pointing the path.

Politicians have forgotten THEIR interests are that of the people that elected them. NOT self interests.

Politicans need to have the foundation of good to keep the interests of those who elected them at heart, always.
