Poll
Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee may have elevated his candidacy to his party’s upper tier -- at least in his and his supporters' minds -- but his choice of campaign accommodations and travel haven’t improved much.

He thinks a stay at a Holiday Inn is “luxurious.” It's hard to imagine Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani thinking the same. And while his fellow candidates travel in large entourages neatly packed into convoys of black SUVs, Huckabee says he gives local cabbies and car-rental outlets lots of business.

“I finally put my foot down about subpar accommodations earlier this year,” said the former Arkansas governor. “I understand frugal and budget but there was a place my staff had me stay near Houston that was so bad that I was the only person in the hotel that did not have tattoos, metal objects piercing my face -- and wore sleeves.”

Meet Mike Huckabee -- the preacher-man from the South who, by some accounts, is beating the presidential-expectations game. He is the great communicator whom no one has heard about. That is, until now.

Huckabee is rising among the GOP candidates, not by money. (He has little.) Nor by establishment support. (He has none.) And not by slick television or radio ads. (Again, no money.)

Huckabee is there because he has earned it, says Charlie Gerow, a Republican strategist in Harrisburg. “It’s pretty simple. This is a guy who brought the house down at the Values Voter Summit, wins or comes close to winning every debate, shocked everyone by placing second in the Ames, Iowa, straw poll and is now inching toward the top of the polls in the Iowa caucuses.”

Though he's still well behind poll-topping Mitt Romney. And facing growing criticism from some in the conservative establishment.

The Club for Growth's Pat Toomey says the party's "flirtation" with Huckabee "does a great disservice to the conservative movement" if it overlooks his "stunning record of big-government liberalism." And National Review editor Rich Lowry adds that "for all his eloquence, what Huckabee lacks, fundamentally, is a message."

But Gerow says Huckabee could be dangerous to the Democrats “because he can galvanize the base.” And Democrat strategist John Lapp says Huckabee would awake that sleeping giant -- the Republican base. He'd be the Democrats’ worst nightmare “if only he had money," Lapp says.

"His threat comes from all over -- his executive experience as a governor, his own personal success story. And he has the steadiest hand and is the most optimistic out of the GOP bunch.”

Huckabee predicts he will survive Iowa and surprise in New Hampshire, where the state's Republican chairman, Fergus Cullen, reports that Huckabee "is doing solid. While he is still in the ‘getting to know you’ stage, he has proven to be the best communicator of all of the candidates and has earned some impressive local endorsements.”

According to the average of voter polls in Iowa posted at RealClearPolitics.com, Huckabee still trails Romney by 12.5 points, 26.3 percent to 13.8 percent. But he is virtually neck-and-neck with second-place Fred Thompson (15 percent).

In New Hampshire, the most recent Rasmussen poll shows Huckabee a distant fourth -- at 10 percent compared to leader Romney's 28 percent -- but improving.

But Huckabee appears to be cashing in on that "Huckappeal." With donations and hits to his Web site that, he says, “everyday surpasses the day before,” he is like the tortoise racing the hare -- going slow, steady and uphill, attempting to defy the conventional wisdom.

The Huckster...
Great article
Mike is moving up because he's just being himself, and has a proven leadership record to back up his words.

Huck Appeal is Waning
Betsy Hagan, Arkansas director of the conservative Eagle Forum and a key backer of his early runs for office, was once "his No. 1 fan." She was bitterly disappointed with his record. "He was pro-life and pro-gun, but otherwise a liberal," she says. "Just like Bill Clinton he will charm you, but don't be surprised if he takes a completely different turn in office."

Phyllis Schlafly, president of the national Eagle Forum, is even more blunt. "He destroyed the conservative movement in Arkansas, and left the Republican Party a shambles," she says. "Yet some of the same evangelicals who sold us on George W. Bush as a 'compassionate conservative' are now trying to sell us on Mike Huckabee."

Fundamental Error in GOP Outlook
This writer makes the same fundamental error in outlook that the GOP has for the past several election cycles. The so-called based is excited about Huckabee because he is more like them and more likely to represent their beliefs than any of the other "establishment" candidates. If the GOP thinks that they can use Huckabee as a stalking horse and then rally his support behind an establishment candidate they are dead wrong. The values voters are going to insist upon a values candidate or simply stay home. Bush has proven that the "any Republican is better than a Democrat" and "the world as we know it will end if a Democrat is elected" arguments will no longer work. The Christian base of the GOP is tired of being treated like a wrong side of the tracks mistress being wooed by a rich young man, good enough to deliver services in the dark but never to be seen at the big house. I have refused to vote in the last two presidential cycles and will again unless the GOP can produce a candidate that is more than an empty suit (aka Thompson) waiting to be filled with establishment policies once elected. Huckabee might be that man.

In The Presidential Pageant
Give Huckabee the award for Miss Congeniality not the Presidency. Yes, he's a nice guy who tells jokes but he's more liberal than Giuliani on issues and I don't want this man anywhere near my taxes.

Huckabee, The Lessor of ...............
Huckabee's web site has some very positive and promising promises. The other candidates who have any chance are untrustworthy. Mr. Arizona whose state is overrun with illegals doesn't mind it. Mr. New Yorker is a socialist with a fine smile but whose opinions are not near conservative enough. Mr. Massachusetts is a proven lib with taxpayers money but is from a fine state with excellent representation in the Senate and probably cannot say no to homo marriages. Like many conservatives, I do not have a favorite Repub candidate but choosing between Hitlery and a Repub, I'll go with Huckabee.

A true ...GHOST STORY
On the evening of Hillary's birthday fund raiser ,Huckabee's band played at Buddy Holly 's last venue.By chance ,I think not.Imagine... if you can a ...Hillary//Huck ..ticket. We would get matching... COLLECTIVISM ...music.Huck drove.

Colbert on Huckabee vs Paul

John Konop

Great video clip! Even this Huckabee fan enjoyed it thoroughly.

By the way, DON'T set your clocks back this morning (thank you Al Gore!)

Islam
Sometime back, I heard him refer to Allah as 'their god'.

Now, no matter what Jews and Christians believe, to Muslims, Allah is one and the same with the god of Judasim and Christianity.

There's no point in arguing about it with long cut and paste passages from the Torah or the Bible or even just stubbornly saying 'no he's not'.

What's important is to understand what MUSLIMS believe, and make those beliefs known to Ma and Pa America.

It does no good to tell your grandma and grandpa that Muslims are wrong and that Allah is not God.

It is important to tell them the facts, so that they can become fully outraged.

Huckabee needs to recognize that, too; and address the issue of Islam factually.

We don't need another president who thinks we're fighting 'evil doers' and 'extremists' who don't represent Islam.

I mean, really, what are Muslim 'extremists' being 'extreme' about, exactly.

Get the facts out on the table and work the crowd!

A vote for Rudy is avote for Hillary
Bloomlets are here and then gone . If we get behind Mitt we will win Rudy only got 1 % of the PROLIFERS vote and Mitt got 51 % remember they voted for CARTER a dem. They swung over there like TARZAN chasing JANE ...do the math ...WAKE UP AND SMELL THE POSTUM...Ann Romney is the only one that can kick Hillary's *#*. Even with MS Ann makes her own granola. Ann has five sons and has seen a few fights. ...GO MITT"Evangelicals for Mitt" and "The Mitt Report.

muslims
the "extremeists" don't represent islam?.....light up another bowl prcs. Islam openly advocates killing the "infidels" Wahabism schools here in the USA and throughout the world teach hatred and intolerance of non muslims. Leaders in the islamic world openly call for jihad. This nation will long regret their actions if democrats take control of this government.

Likable Yes, - Not So Capable Though
A US Air Force Commander named Gene said:

"I Ran Against Mike Huckabee

He is good at saying the right things; it's the doing where he stumbles.

I ran against Mike Huckabee for governor of Arkansas in 1998. He spent over a million dollars to defeat me in the Republican Primary where less than 60,000 votes were cast statewide.

As governor he increased state spending by over 65% and campaigned to raise taxes. He granted clemency 669 times which is more than the 507 clemencies given by the three previous governors combined. Many of the clemencies were granted to convicted murderers."
SEE: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&fri endID=206536308&blogID=322580593

His experience as an entertainer and a Pastor plus governor does not give him the experience that Mr. Romney has. Mr. Romney on the other hand has a record of getting things done, and confronting hard choices.

Mike is a capable person, but he will meet even bigger challenges in the General Election that he has not even thought of. Vote your conscience, but know the candidate that can win that best represents enough concerned others to win the General Election. Don't stay home vote your heart felt convictions. "Be wise as serpents, but inoffensive as doves."

It appears that there is going to be a third party, as independent like, Al Gore and Mike Bloomberg. That is the prediction I heard, and that this election will be a very dirty election. The Dems are up to win, at-all-cost. We should make no compromise on this, and “hopefully” the person who wins the GOP Primaries will be that person. Cheers!

Big 2, 5, or 6
It is not the big 5, it is either the big 2 (Romney and Rudy) or it is the Big 6. If you look at the odds Rudy is 40+, Romney is 25+, Fred is 10-11, Paul, McCain and Huck are about 6-7.

The social conservatives were suckered by elements of the MSM who support Rudy into getting on the Fred bandwagon without vetting him. Fred was honest. He said he would not and could not run a regular campaign. The So Cons bought into the "walk on water" image of Fred without a blink. That divided opposition to Rudy.

Sucker play 2. Huck ran 2nd in the IA straw poll. The Rudy elements of the MSM jumped on another chance to divide the anti Rudy vote. That lasted about 10 days.

Sucker play 3. Huck a Baptist Minister runs 2nd at the values voters conf. He should have won being a Baptist Minister. The Rudy elements spin it into another Huck boomlet.

Romney has the money and the talent to beat Rudy. Fred can't beat Rudy even in SC much less FL. Ron Paul has just as good a chance at the nomination at McCain or Huck. They all are flawed to the point that they have no chance to stop Rudy.

Further
Ron Paul has about 6 million cash on hand. Huck has about $600,000. Ron Paul has a better chance at the nomination that Huck.

Never
will there be a President Huckleberry. The name alone will not work in America and neither will Obama.......or Hillary.

Mike Huckabee is the best candidate
Romney doesn't have convictions, he has campaign slogans. Giuliani makes a great mayor but he hasn't even held a statewide office. Thompson is fine when the lines are scripted.

Mike Huckabee is bought and paid for. He tells you who he is, what he thinks and what he thinks America needs right now. If you ask him a question, he doesn't give you talking points.

I HAVE voted in every election since I got the right to vote almost 30 years ago. But if the Republican deal makers try to force another Rockefeller Republican mascarading as a Conservative on me - I don't know if I can bring myself to go to polls.

Mike Huckabee cut taxes more than 100 times. When his opponents try to smear him with half-truths and obfuscations - keep that in mind.

Huckabee is the right man and this is the right time. We need him as President.

Just think about
Bobby Jindal, who had no chance either.

for LzVandy
LzVandy writes: "Never
will there be a President Huckleberry."

You think that his name works against him, huh?

There's something to be said for that theory. Candidates with funny-sounding names usually lost elections:

Rufus King (1812)
Horatio Seymour (1868)
Wendell Willkie (1940)
Michael Dukakis (1988)

Good grief!!!
Just what America doesn't need--another laid back good ol' boy in the White House, especially in a post 9/11 world!!!! We've already had that with disasterous results. Also is anyone really going to take anyone with a corny hick name like Huckabee seriously? Try this experiment--say President Huckabee three times fast. It just doesn't work, does it???

With Mike Huckabee, who needs liberals
Huckabee commuted 11 sentences of convicted criminals. Many of them were violent offenders.

In 2004 Huckabee commuted the sentence of convicted murderer, Denver Whitham.

Huckabee advocated the release of a Wayne Dumond. Who was Convicted of Raping a 17 year old girl. After Dumond was paroled, he was then convicted of murdering a Missouri Woman.

Huckabee responds by saying as a Christian, he believes in redemption. Well, it's good to know, he's honest and stands on principle.

However,there not my principles!!

THE HUCKSTER

.....Elmer Gantry lives ...If I want to listen to a slick talking preacher I'll go to church ...

.....Huckabee doesn't belong in the White House and I think he does harm to the Republican Party .....COLOSSUS

correction (who needs liberals)
Commuted 111 sentences as governor

Gomer Pyle will protect us?
Now the Neocons are just getting plain batty. We are going to have a fiscally liberal guy to woo conservatives? The media have been trying so hard to make him the dark horse, when are they just going to give up? You people need to get out of your ivory towers and get out more, we don't need a guy to communicate in idiotic speak, some do but most don't.

No to Huckabee
Mike Huckabee is a good speaker, and a great jokster. But he is very very soft on illegal immigration. He believes in amnesty. He had in state tuition for illegal immigrats while in office. All the perks were given illegals. He doesn't believe that illegals should be turned over to feds if they are in jails.

You will have another Bush if yyou go for Huckabee. I voted for Bush, but I won't be fooled again.
Check his Numbers USA score card.

um...
have ANY of you Huckster supporters bothered to check out his record? Have you seen what Arkansas conservatives say about him? The guy is pathetic, and is MILES from anything resembling conservative. Conservavangelists see a chance to have a baptist minister as president and overlook the horrible things he did to Arkansas and to his party, one former supporter said he "left the Arkansas conservative movement in a shambles". He's also got SERIOUS ethical issues, recieving several reprimands while governor. Also, wait til they haul his wife out onto the carpet, some of the things she did and said were just STUPID. But we are talking about ARKANSAS here. HOPE Arkansas. Forget this moron. jeez.

Angrywhtmale
I live in Oklahoma, about 20 miles from the Arkansas border,Have friends in Arkansas, and get our Local News out of Fort Smith, Arkansas. You are so right about Huckabee.
I'm glad you are on to him. He scares me. He is in love with himself. ( sound familiar?) But he truly is no conservative.

Willy Horton II
get ready, that little commuted sentence, Huck's public statements regarding it, and the following MURDER put blood on Huck's hands, plain and simple. That story's not going away. Huck Sucks.

Another "Compassionate Conservative?"
Without using the term, Huckabee appears to be in the George Bush mode of compassionate conservatives.

He appears to favor big government and "rights" for illegal aliens.

To me, a Mike Huckabee presidency represents George Bush's third term.

nanna
Check his Numbers USA score card.

As an active mamber of NumbersUSA I'd like to know where they get their info because;

His own site contradicts NumbersUSA,

And in an interview with Glenn Beck (in 5 parts),

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uvsf8uCcYxI

So when things conflict one must figure out a way to determine the true position.

The Best Indicator
Someone who had the temerity to call into question the belief system of legislators when they didn't roll over for his pro illegal alien agenda is a quisling of the first order.

Put on ashes and sackcloth governor. Return to your state and apologize to each and every citizen who was a victim of illegal alien crime during your tenure.

Spare us your tripe lest we be overtaken by the nausea you induce. You have neither part nor lot with us; by your fruits you are known.

SUPPORT HUCKABEE NOW OR LOSE TO HILLARY
Huckabee is presidential material and is alone able to defeat Hillary/Obama. I am now convinced that those wealthier donors to Romney's, Giuliani’s, and Thompson's campaign have wasted their money and if they continue, are wasting their hard earned money on candidates who do not have voter appeal or substance. As a member of the younger generation, I will tell you point blank, Romney, Giuliani, and Thompson DO NOT connect with us.

Listed are just some of the reasons why I switched my vote to Huckabee:
1. Huckabee can think on his feet.
2. He is personable.
3. He is real.
4. Huckabee considers the poor and less fortunate.
5. Huckabee is extremely knowledgeable about various issues and communicates with confidence.
6. He is Pro-life and Pro-family.
7. He is witty and competitive.
8. As governor, Huckabee is the longest proven executive leader among all the nominees.
9. He demonstrates wisdom, humility, and self-control.
10. Huckabee is completely understandable and communicates with great depth.
11. Huckabee has a consistent conservative track record.
12. He is noble, honest, compassionate, bold, also attentive to all the questions he was ever asked about WITHOUT being all over the board and WITHOUT sounding scattered.
13. Huckabee is clearly the toughest on border and national security.
14. Huckabee speaks without annoying hesitations and does not utilize vacuous speech.
15. He has earned the respect of Afro-Americans and Hispanics since he was THE ONLY top ranked one who valued and respected them by attending the latest ethnic sponsored republican forum.
16. He is direct and uncompromising about the flat tax system.
17. Huckabee is very focused and he is all about accomplishing measurable goals.

Huckabee is the ONLY candidate who can beat Hillary Clinton. Face it. It’s all over. The Huckabee campaign must be financially fortified.

http://evolutionfacts.blogspot.com

In support of Huckabee
18. He knows how to work with a democratic legislature.

.....HUCK SUCKS! .....COLOSSUS

Huck
SUCKS. Consistent conservative? Mike Huckabee? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

nanny-state socialist who's HATED by repubs from his own state.

This guy is just Bush redux II
No way. Yes, he seems strong on the border and what might appear to be some conservative moral issues. But the "big govt. conservatism" is a disaster. And he is definitely a big spending Bush type of guy. Bush has almost ruined the country or has already. Frankly, I don't know that Hillary wouldn't be better than this Huckabee if in fact the public begins to equate conservatism with big govt. should Huckabee win. At least the party might regroup if Hillary wins, behind small govt. principles. Huckabee seems, frankly, like a huckster at this point in time. Scary to think we get another 4 years of big spending, irresponsible, sleazy, pork laden, big govt. conservatism.

Hucklebee Is A Weak Candidate.
Mike Hucklebee also panders, and would be destroyed by the Democrats.

He is weak and does not represent the strength of the Republican Party, nor does he represents the strength of the United States of America.

What about Ron Paul?
As I was reading this article, it struck me at some of the parallels between their campaigns. Ron Paul also stays in economy hotels and uses commercial airlines -- even though he has ten times the money as Huckabee. Ron Paul has definitely earned his position as well winning or placing high in nearly every straw poll around the country as well as winning most of the debate polls. This was all done while being virtually ignored by the press and the Republican party leadership which at one point threatened to exclude him from all debates.

Why does the Republican party fear Ron Paul so much? Is it such a bad thing that he is against the Iraq War when 70% of the voting public is against it too? Are we afraid that he might just win because of that issue? Or are we afraid of him because he actually IS a staunch conservative who practices what he preaches? His campaign has been an exercise in fiscal restraint leaving him over $5 million to spend on TV and radio ads in the early primary states. He has consistently voted against unbalanced budgets and for shrinking the size of government. He is strongly pro-life. He does not accept corporate donations or lobbyist money.

Where is the front-page article for Ron Paul?

We don't need another president who thinks we're fighting 'evil doers' and 'extremists' who don't represent Islam.

I sure hope you're not registered to vote.

Just imagine...
the pejoratives that could come out of a "President Huckabee."

And who could stomach 4 years of a Baptist preacher doing press conferences..."Ladies and gentlemen, when I was a boy....That is why America needs to (insert three concepts all beginning with the same first letter)."

I've attended Baptist churches before, and I've also attended a Huckabee event. They're almost one and the same...and both are predictably boring.

Huckabee is the best choice for 08
Mike Huckabee is a principled conservative who has the capability of appealing to what we used to refer to as the Reagan Democrats.

Huckabees' appeal to lower middle class and blue collar voters makes him formidable.

It is interesting that the conservative movement ideologues like Schlafley and the Neo-cons like John Fund are starting to whine. It is understandable because Huckabees' conservativism is based upon principles rather than ideological predilections far removed from the sentiments of voters.

My suspicion is that Huckabee will not be the nominee, but he has shown himself to be a tremendous campaigner with excellent communication skills. Think of it, a conservative President with communication skills. No, we would rather eat our own.

What the Wall Street Journal thinks...

A DEBATE BETWEEN HUCKABEE & THOMPSON

Now THAT would be worth something. The differences would be like night and day. One awake and energetic, one happily asleep.

I am far from having made up my mind, but I'm warming up to Mr. Huckabee. Maybe I'll send him a contribution for at least one night at a H.I. Every little bit helps, doesn't it?

And I don't contribute to any politico for anything. Except once or twice maybe 30 years ago. That hardly counts. And it wasn't in the neighborhood of a night at a H.I., either.

Well Jay
He also sounds like and looks like Gomer Pyle. And we will never have a baptist pastor and former president of the Arkansas Baptist Convention as President. Remember , Huckabee was opposed to the conservative baptist victory in the 80's. He is a moderate. When you run for President of the United States Jay, standards change. That is why Hillary, just another 'razorback ridge runner'...will never win. And neither will Giulanni, another Republican fraud. People don't elect cross dressers to the Presidency. And if we could have heard Laura's beastiality jokes to a sitting president...her hubby...he would have lost.

LzVandy
Thanks for proving my point. Because if we elected by your standards we wouldn't have a president.

We the People of the United States of America have the right to have our borders and our laws respected and enforced.
If we wish to keep our representative Republic, and our rule of law, we must elect a President who WILL secure the borders and enforce the laws. The actions of the next President will determine the fate of this great nation. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this will no longer be the United States of America.

The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

to the Huckabee supporters

I recommend the Huckabee supporters get back on their meds immediately.

Huckabee is so out of step with America, it is absurd to consider him as a presidential candidate.

For one thing, the Republicans' best issue in 2008 is taking a hard line on illegal immigration. If we get Giulani then we lose that issue, his past record precludes him from taking a firm stance.

Huckabee is as bad or worse. In response to a bill proposed in Arkansas that would cut off public benefits and the like for illegal aliens, he resorted to the most deranged insults against the sponsors.

So what was so radical about this legislation as to get him so worked up? Well, it was along the same lines as legislation which has been adopted in states like Georgia, Colorado, Arizona, Oklahoma.

Huckabee is one of the three amnesty candidates on the Republican side.

And while Giuliani and McCain hold extremist pro-amnesty views on the issue, they do not have a history of defaming those who disagree.

Only Huckabee, of all the top 5 candidates, is both an open-borders extremist AND is uncivil in the way he pursues those policies.

On moral grounds alone, the guy flunks the test.

Huckabee- preaches conservatism, practices liberalism. Supports amnesty.

That leaves us with Thompson and Romney.

Both have their flaws, but nothing compared to the fatal flaws the other 3 have.

I don't understand....
I don't understand this love affair with Huckabee. I've heard numerous times that he is weak on the border and quite sympathetic to the illegal invaders trashing our country. Didn't we learn our lesson with Bush? This invasion of illegal invaders into our country is probably the number one problem we are facing today.
I would support virtually any Republican (except Ron Paul and McCain) over Huckabee.
Do we really want to go through another immigration amnesty scam again?

big mick ona street Yada Yada Yada
Look,
We're on the verge of Socialism, got a Out of Control Judiciary trampling the Constitution, got a bunch of Sandnazis out to Nuke us and a Reconquista Invasion flooding over our Southern Border.

I think the polls show most Americans sense this if they don't put it in such stark terms.

We are in, not one, but 4, count em, 4, Wars of Survival for our Constitutional Republic and our
Sacred Liberties.

I want a Leader who is going to Fight and Win all 4.

I would further suggest that Ronald Reagan's Principles can be extended to our current situation with thus implied Solutions.

1. We have 2 Foreign "Evil Empires" out to get us. The Sandnazis and the Reconquistas.

2. Domestically Government IS the Problem.

Anyone who wants to Lead me has GOT to FIGHT and WIN ALL FOUR!!! To quote Churchill "For without Victory there is no survival."

Which leads to part 2 below--the 4 Pledges of the Big Mick. And part 3---what we need instead of these same ol lame ol "debates" and the POLITICAL HACKS who keep hyping on TH this pathetic bunch of Old Geezers, Plastic Men, CINO's and Nut Jobs we got as ridiculous excuses for Candidates.

Big Mick's 4 Pledges
To get my vote a Candidate has to pledge Publically and In Writing to:

1.WIN the War against the Sandnazis on ALL fronts.

2. DEFEND our Southern Border against the Mexican Invasion.

3.RESTORE Constitutionalism by pledging to appoint ONLY Strict Constructionist Judges from a Consensus Top 10 List of the Most Strict Constructionist.

4. REDUCE the size of the Fed Gov. 3% in Real Actual Terms, not mere slowed growth, each year of their administration.

WIN, DEFEND, RESTORE, REDUCE--all or nothing, no equivocations, or I vote for Hillybama in the confident expectation they will end this slow death by pushing the Republic the last few inches toward Socialism and in the hope that will ignite the long needed American Revolution Part 3.

A Real Alternative to Pseudo Conservativ
es in Pseudo Debate.

Put together a 2 and a half hour special on Fox with a studio audience made up of 65% self-identified Conservative voters and 35% self-identified "Reagan Democrats".

First segment, a number from Lee Greenwood or one of the other Singers and Musicians Hannity gets for his events. Then have Rush or Hannity give a 7 minute speech on "The Four Pillars of Reganism". Next segment repeat format with Hannity or Rush. First half hour.

Over the next 2 hours. Let the top 6 "Candidates" (pisz poor lot that they are) each have 10 minutes on the topic "Why America Needs Another Ronald Reagan." That HAS to be the First Sentence in the Speech, and the Last Sentence HAS to be "And I Am That Man."

These are to be CONVENTION STEM WINDERS not stump speaches or sound bites. Lets HEAR these guys ON something that MATTERS! Let's hear their VISION. Let Ann Coulter do her schtick and skewer Hillybama with one liners between speakers along with other numbers from Hannity's Music people.

Conservative Convention Meets Talk Show Host Tour Meets American Idol.

Bet it gets much better ratings too.

I believe the guy (or woman) who can bring the audience to its feet cheering their guts out, is the guy or gal who can beat Hillybama in 08.

So far it's all been a waste of my time--they're all lame.
