The Issue is Obama

Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

If the economy has taken a clear No. 1 position - beyond terror and national security - as the issue of most concern to the voters, why is the McCain-Palin ticket spending so much time attacking Barack Obama for his past associations?

Because the fundamental issue in this campaign is Obama - his values, his beliefs, his character. Having done practically zero as an Illinois state senator, and absolutely zero during three years in the U.S. Senate, Obama has no substantive legislative record. So we're left with judging him (a) by what he says (and he has an oily ability to say anything on just about every side of every issue), and (b) by the company he keeps (and has kept).

But what does it matter - really - that he hung around with William Ayers for a decade, sat for two decades in the pews of Jeremiah Wright, was enabled early in his political career by imprisoned real-estate developer Antoin "Tony" Rezko, or retains as a campaign advisor a past head of Fannie Mae?

Let me count the ways. (1) Ayers is an unrepentant domestic Osama who bombed buildings in which people died. He's currently an advisor to Venezuela's America-hating Hugo Chavez. (2) Wright is a racial separatist who has sermonized saying egregious things.

Obama has repudiated the actions and statements of both. He has added that he hardly knew Ayers and, while a church-member, never heard Wright's hateful preachings.

Of course he has. What's more (3) Rezko was central to launching Obama into politics, and represents a major tie to the Chicago machine that raised Obama up. (4) Raines headed Fannie Mae from 1998 to 2004, the years when it did its worst, for which he walked away with nearly $100 million in salary and bonuses. The collapse of Fannie is a huge factor in the mayhem currently hammering the financial markets.

It's so mean, so extreme, even racist - and certainly desperate - for John McCain and Sarah Palin to bring these things up.

Let's speculate. If McCain - for instance - boasted Enron's Ken Lay as a campaign advisor (compare Raines), or had held an early-career campaign fund-raiser in the house of an unrepentant bomber of abortion clinics (compare Ayers), or had dozed through 20 years of sermons by a white-supremacist minister, would it be mean and extreme to mention them?

Obama terms it "erratic," "cheap," and a McCain gamble "that he can distract you with smears." It's hardly fair, as Sarah Palin does regarding Obama's associations with Ayers, for example, to say that Obama has "palled around with terrorists who would target their own country."

How is it unfair if it's true? Sure Obama wants to parry and deflect attention from these associations. He prefers not to discuss them, wishes they would go away. He understands as well as anyone that they testify to his own judgment in the past and to his honesty about them now. Judgment and honesty lie at the heart of character.

They're past history, and therefore irrelevant.

On the contrary, they go hand-in-glove with the extreme leftism of his Senate voting record (No. 1, to Ted Kennedy's No. 2 and Joe Biden's No. 3). He is hardly the moderate mainstreamer he presents to the voters with his Mr. Smoothie rhetoric. He got his start in the company of radicals and the corrupt - and if the press won't vet the past of "this fellow of strange associations" (in the words of Hollywood actor Jon Voight), then McCain and Palin must. You might look at it as providing a service to the voters.

The voters seem to be making up their minds the other way - in favor of Obama.

Maybe. But mid-October trends can change - as those such as Jimmy Carter (against Gerald Ford) and Bill Clinton (against George Bush I) have demonstrated. Obama cannot come clean about his early years, any more than John Kerry could. Truth would blow their careful cover stories. Fact would belie the fictions.

So Obama is lying?

Obama is the issue - his associations, his straightforwardness about them, his judgment in maintaining them over long periods, his character. Sarah Palin sees Obama as trying "to talk his way into the White House." John McCain says regarding Obama, "Perhaps never before in history have the American people been asked to risk so much based on so little" - so little in tangible legislative accomplishment, so little straight talk about his dubious associations.

Yet why do those associations really matter?

No one has put it better than Charles Krauthammer: "The window these associations give on Obama's core beliefs." And: "He doesn't share Rev. Wright's poisonous views of race nor Ayers' views, past and present, about the evil that is American society. But Obama clearly did not consider these views beyond the pale. For many years he swam easily and without protest in that fetid pond."

Without fuller explanation from Obama himself, it's hardly a stretch - hardly extreme - to conclude he swims there still.

MCCAIN-PALIN WIN EVERY TIME!
ITS ALL ABOUT CHARACTER,AND BEING ALL AMERICAN,STANDING UP FOR THE UN BORN,PUTTING COUNTRY FIRST.

Conservatives are funny
You guys keep writing articles that make you feel good about supporting McCain. Yet there's rarely anything that would convince undecided voters to vote for McCain. McCain has run his campaign the same way. It's been one big love-fest, especially since Palin joined the ticket, for rightwingers. But very little about winning an election. Very odd.

Yes...
And that is why Barrack will be the next POTUS... he has the potential to be a great leader for your country... he IS a great man!

Liberals aren't funny; they're sad
Conservatives may be funny, but liberals are sad. You would rather support a polished racist who doesn't even support the values on which this country was founded? If Obama and his leftist illuminati views are allowed to enter the White House, we're going to look back on this election as a tragic time in our once-great nation.

Give conservatives credit
You right wingers are certainly consistent. You keep pounding this ayers stuff even though its clear that nobody but the far right talk radio crowd cares. News flash: If you're about to lose your job or home, Bill Ayers is not your biggest concern. Keep it up as it will ensure Obama wins in a landslide.

Jeff - get ready for the Obama era because its coming. I know the sheer terror you feel but its going to be OK.

Is it about character?
You betcha! In Obama's case, it's lack of character for associating with Ayers, Wright, ACORN and others. It's about lack of experience other than voting present in the Illionis Senate almost a 100 times and running for President for 19 months. It's about lack of good judgement and flipping on issues.

jayhawk
In what way is he a great man?

Without using the names Bush or McCain in your post. Tell me why you think Obama is a great man. What has he done?

Because in all that I know about him, I wouldn't shake his hand or allow him in my home.

BHO equals

bigger government

less personal liberty and freedom

higher taxes

advancement of same-sex sodomy

stricter gun controls

unrestricted abortion including partial-birth abortion

surrender in Iraq

weakening of the American military

judges who ruled based on their feelings instead of written law.

If Americans understand the above, they will not support Obama, Jr. If they do not, we have failed to convey the truth. Americans are not in favor of any of the above. Yet that is Junior's platform. Obviously, we have a lot of communicating to do with the undecided voters before November 4.

I suggest we not engage Obama, Jr. supporters in dialogue. They have proven feckless and irrational. Dialogue with them is a waste of time that could be better spend in conversations with our undecided friends.

Yes what has he done?
I have tried to find anything useful that Obama has accomplished. There is not one thing I could find that shows he has ever done anything other than for himself. I guess that is why he is great.

eddie too,
Most Certainly a fool

Obama is the only hope for America

an end to republicon fascism

The shield of race
Yesterday, my husband and I had lunch with his sister and husband. They are retired (both highly educated), and we are younger and own a small (tiny actually) business. Of course, we had a heated debate about the election, and they are voting for Obama, basically because they regret voting for Bush and hate Palin.

In the course of our exchanges, I stated I liked McCain's health care plan and feared socialized medicine and used the example of MassHealth. They weren't aware of it, but stated anyway there isn't any reason it shouldn't work. We debated every topic out there, drug out the history of the Great Depression and the effect of Smoot-Hawley on the rise of Hitler, the danger of a unchecked balance of powers(both agreeing as mad as people are, incumbents will be returned at a large percentage) and in the end my sister in law told her husband she knew we wouldn't vote for Obama because of Detroit (He's from the south originally, we have lived our lives in Michigan). They were unaware there were problems in Detroit this year.

If it were about race, we wouldn't have been able to take up two hours of time talking about LIBOR, CRA, ACORN, the Depression, Roosevelt, Health care, abortion, foreign policy including trade, etc. We could have ended the lunch quicker by admitting we are against ever having an African American for President and haven't really given anything else any thought.

Here is what I do not understand
Wasn't it Daschel who had to step down from his leadership in the Senate and basically had his political career ended because he gave a compliment to an elderly man at a birthday party?
One thing that bothers me is why all of this people in his past liked him and wanted to hang around him. I want a President that Ayers would hate. I want a President that someone who speaks ill of this country doesn't feel comfortable hanging around with.
Imagine you 16 year old daughter has a boyfriend. He "seems" like a nice, clean cut guy. However, he hangs around with the local gang members (though he says he isn't in a gang), he hangs around with drug dealers (but he says he doesn't do drugs), and he hangs around with a guy that got out of jail 6 months ago after serving 20 years for murder (but he says he doesn't believe in violence). Would you still feel comfortable letting your daughter date that guy? Or would you say "hey, you might be a nice guy, but with the friends you hang around I am not comfortable with you". He really might be a great guy, but that isn't the world you want your kid exposed to or at the mercy of.
Even if Obama just happens to attract the wrong people, I am still not willing to expose my kids to him. It just makes me uncomfortable with the meeting and being embraced by people so far on the extreme. Again, he might be a great guy, but the fact that such people seem to flock to him and seek him out worries me. It also doesn't help that he seems to be married to someone not very fond of the country. I can't imagine having a First Lady that doesn't like the country - that will be very strange. That would be like going to a church where the pastor's wife was not a Christian, but she still hosted the church functions.

Senator Government and Senator Jobs
Are going to win!!!!!
And BIG!!!!
If you really want to clean up the bureaucratic rats-nest that is Washington DC, who better to send than a pair of LAWYERS!!!!!
It's best to send a clean slate (no legislative record) to clean up the mess than a shot-up fighter jock and his Barbie Doll sidekick!
If the problem with America is too manylawyers, SEND MORE!
Joe the Plumber for Secretary of State!!

DNC Knows Obama is a Fraud
Why is the only coverage regarding the Berg lawsuit regarding Obama's "ineligibility" for president of the US ONLY on the Internet when there is a big game changer happening right NOW. Why is the Democratic National Committee trying to block Obama's production of the "vault" copy of his birth certificate? Why did the Democratic Senators try to pass a Resolution trying to insert a clausse favorable to citizens born "outside" of the United States?

Here's why?

The Senate Ethics and Rules Committee, Chair Diane Feinstein, would have a huge problem because they are responsible for the Certification of a Candidate’s Compliance with Constitutional Requirements, a job they would have conspicuously failed to do. Barack Hussein Obama II was born at The Coast Provincial General Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya, at the Berg lawsuit clearly suggests, it is certain that he is NOT Eligible to hold the Offices of POTUS or VPOTUS and highly probable that he is not Legally entitled to hold the Office of Senator either and that he was NOT Eligible to be an Illinois State Senator.

If Obama is Elected president, the poisoned Chalice would pass to Nancy Pelosi because as Speaker of the House she, and the House, have the Responsibility to ensure that the President Elect can Effectively be Sworn In and Legally Assume the Office and Duties of the President. SO WHY IS THE DNC BLOCKING THE PRODUCTION OF THE DOCUMENTS THEY WILL EVENTUALLY NEED TO CONFIRM OBAMA?

WHAT? I see you are on here again spewing your IQ --- did it go above 30 yet?
If you think that the LIAR is the only hope for america, then dang america must really be in trouble. Dude com'on --get a clue

got to hand it to jayhawk

Come on; Jayhawk out in Raratonga is right. We cannot deny that Obama is a great man.

He must be; an ordinary man wouldn't be able to send little thrills up Chris Matthew's leg like Obama does. It took a great man to do that.

Cheesey Chris still gets the tingles just day-dreaming about Obambi. Jayhawk is also feeling a bit damp down there; Obama is thrilling!

McCain Has Praise ACORN

Speaking of McCain's supposed displeasure for ACORN, check out his congratulatory speech at an ACORN 2006 rally at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ9wy2MI1NI

Most audience members are wearing ACORN T-shirts.

McCain must think that most Americans are stupid, but those are just the Republicans.

Any organization, like ACORN, that pays workers to register millions of voters is bound to have some fraudulent names.

That doesn't mean that it is a Democratic or Republican con game. It's just reality.

reply to john, in IL

Yeah, John. You are so spot on.

I'm just glad this goop about ACORN is going to stick on Obambi and not Senator Mac. (We dodged a bullet, didn't we?)

We start to know Obama
Looking at his associations, we now know 1) that he seeks relationships with people I would cross the street to avoid, 2) he knows these relationships are a problem because he dissembles when asked about them, and 3) he lies when cornered.

We begin to see that Obama shares the beliefs of the communists, radicals, and anti American extremists he associates with. He believes in income redistribution, a Marxist tenet; he sees healthcare as a "right" (funny, it isn't in the Constitution); he has a "living document" approach to the Constitution (throw it out the window and decide whatever you want); and he is backing down from support of Israel.

Hmmm...
While this brings up some interesting points the information here http://dragcave.net/user/perloothebold
directly contradicts it.

stbmom
to answer your question, no it was not Tom Daschle that had to step down from the majority leader spot, it was Trent Lott (R-MS).

Tom Daschle (D-SD) was voted out of office in 2004 when the good people of South Dakota decided that they had enough of his obstructionist politics.

See, there is hope that people do come to their senses, sometimes it just takes longer than some people would like.

Barack on the way to the White House
grandmother: she provided education/didn't need anymore--under the bus
Wright: he provided Chicago contacts, support/didn't need anymore--under the bus
Ayers: he provided start in politics/didn't need anymore--under the bus
Rezko:provided mansion in Hyde Park/didn't need anymore--under the bus
ACORN:provided registration/doesn't need anymore
NEXT UNDER THE BUS
along with the 95% of you naiive fools who think you're getting a tax cut!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

BHo IS the issue-all else is distraction

Alinsky, Ayres, ACORN and Obama are Radical Socialists,
Marxists, and communists, and want to tear down America.

They are at the root of many of the problems we face today,
much more than most of us know.

These roots run deep into the past, and what they fear most is the
truth coming out in the short time before this crucial election.

They WANT people to discuss details of empty campaign promises,
taxes, etc, as a distraction to keep the focus away from what it
should be in the remaining days:

WHO IS OBAMA, REALLY?? WHAT IS THE TRUTH??

Here is a MUST READ article which brings it all together in a way
you have probably never seen before- Voter Fraud, Govt. Spending,
Education, Economic Housing Crisis, and more:

"Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis."

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/barack_obama_and_the _strategy.html

Pass it on !

Because
Many people who support Senator Obama come here and say he should be president because. They have no evidence to support this assertion, but they are convinced that they are right.

This article clearly shows that Senator Obama has had dubious associations in the past which call into question his judgement and his ability to be a just president.

Most people from the left don't try to refute these arguments against Senator Obama. They simply say that conservatives are stupid and that Senator Obama should be president because. They have no evidence that he has done anything of merit and cannot refute his past associations. All they have is because.

The liberals are a bunch of ..........
The liberals are a bunch of whining, lying crybabies! And "the news media" joins them in promoting this! But it ain't over until the fat lady sings; until all the valid votes are counted! Ha!

Ayers Is Important To Obama!
WorldNetDaily.com
September 18, 2008 © Jack Cashill, [Part 1of 3]

“I picture the street coming alive, awakening from the fury of winter, stirred from the chilly spring night by cold glimmers of sunlight angling through the city.” Bill Ayers, Fugitive Days. http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/who_wrote_dreams_fr om_my_fathe_1.html

“Night now fell in midafternoon, especially when the snowstorms rolled in, boundless prairie storms that set the sky close to the ground, the city lights reflected against the clouds.” Barack Obama, Dreams From My Father.

http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_1. htm" target="_blank">http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_1. htm

Note: This is Part 2 of Cashill's 3-part series.

Indeed, in Dreams, it is on the subject of black rage that the author writes most eloquently. Phrases like "full of inarticulate resentments," "knotted, howling assertion of self," "unruly maleness," "unadorned insistence on respect" and "withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage" lace the book.

In Fugitive Days, “rage” rules and in high style as well. Ayers tells of how his “rage got started” and how it evolved into an “uncontrollable rage—fierce frenzy of fire and lava.”
http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_1. htm" target="_blank">http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_1. htm

Note: This is Part 3 of Cashill's 3-part series.

Obama dumped his devoted long time agent after Dreams took off and then signed a seven-figure deal with Crown, using only a by-the-hour attorney.

Obama pulled off the deal after his election but before being sworn in as Senator, this way to avoid the disclosure and reporting requirements applicable to members of Congress.

Our worst fear, however, is that a President Obama will prove to be the “Mansourian Candidate” and that he will continue to play the useful dummy to evil ventriloquists like Bill Ayers and Khalid Al-Mansour. http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/mansourian_candidate.h tm

Ross
Making this election about Ayers to scare people is beneth the dignity of the USA. And, while we're on the subject, the AQ base, while Bush was on watch and after we sacrificed a large number of our youth, has bounded back, stronger than ever. It's criminal, an dRoss wants to waste our time on silly things. Look at these headlines

Afghanistan Is in Its Worst Shape Since 2001, European Diplomat Says
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/15/world/asia/15kabul.html?_ r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

The hardest night of their lives
Their six-month tour was almost over. This was their final mission. But over the course of one night, A (Grenadier) Company would undergo one of the most intense firefights of the war in Afghanistan.

The new National Intelligence Estimate on Pakistan will apparently depict that country as 'on the edge,' with 'no money, no energy, no government.' The fear is expressed that an unstable Pakistan will become a center for al-Qaeda plotting against the US.

Obama only has 3 years to live???
I wonder if RNC plans to do this analysis. I am not being mean-spirited, but since the Team Obama often cites the high potential for McCain to die soon and Palin does not have enough experience to be the Commander in Chief, I think we should do some SCIENTIFIC analysis,

The maximum "mean" of Obama's parents age is 50 (Father died at 46, Mother died at 53. Total live span=99.) -- If this means anything, Barak Obama only has 3 more years to live, assuming his addiction to cigarette has not causing any health problem.

The minimum "mean" of John McCain's age is 83 (Father died at 70, Mother is 96 and still feisty as ever. Total age=166. ) --- McCain will live another 11 years AT LEAST, if Roberta quit kicking donkies this year.

Either way, it looks like the chance of McCain outlive Obama is GRRRREAT!

Can you use this in GOP campaign? I am sure I am not the only person wondering about their potential life span.

How does Joe 6 pack take the Ayers lies
CNN poll of debate viewers: Obama 58%, McCain 31%
CBS poll of uncommitted voters: Obama 53%, McCain 22%

The American public awakes after a long slumber! It took the RW nut house to do it too, that, and loosing all their retirement.

Charisma is not leadership
I will support McCain for the experience he brings to the White House and his willingness to reach across the asile to get the nation's business accomplished. Obama brings nothing but charm to the table. He's never challanged his party on priniples and he brings NO experience of merit to the table. NOTHING AT ALL.

The author of this article
Ross McKenzie is a conservative columnist. So in essence, his job is to persuade people of the superior merits of the conservative platform. In the context of an election that his candidate stands to lose badly, this is especially the case. But this article rehashes old arguments that have proven ineffective with voters. People are not going to change their minds based on the extent of Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers. Most independents polled last night after the debate came out with a more favorable opinion of Obama (and a less favorable one of McCain) than they had going in--after having heard the candidates' discussion of Obama's connection to Bill Ayers. It is safe to say that voters do not care about that. If you want people to vote for John McCain, now would be the time to show people why you think he would be a good president. Otherwise, if you're a conservative columnist, you're just wasting time and money preaching to the choir.

Another Non-issue
As far as Hawaii and the US State department are concerned, there is no birth certificate issue.

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.htm l

jeffrey
"Yet there's rarely anything that would convince undecided voters to vote for McCain."

There's plenty, Jeffrey. It's not the fault of conservatives that you have the approximate intelligence of a pencil eraser, and can't understand basic facts.

Then again, you're a Dumbocrat, so it follows.

The Issue is Obama.....

But the trolls want to talk about Todd Palin-

How laughably weak.

They are desperately AFRAID of the Ayres story.

Notice the succession of B-Ho’s lies and evasions:

1.“He’s just a guy who lives in my neighborhood”
2.“Well, yes, we did sit on a board together”
3.“Yes, I did have my first fundraiser at his house”
4.Well, yes, TWO boards, and some other things.
5.Actually, I met him 10 or 15 years ago.
Etc....

The story of B-Ho’s long term, close alliance with Ayres and
Wright is the Rosetta stone that will decipher the coded mystery
that is his radical, racist, Anti-American past and Socialist future.

That is why they are trying so hard to change the subject, call names
and attack anyone who dares discuss Ayres or explore the facts.

God forbid Obama should win . . .
. . . but if he does, wouldn't you like to be a "fly on the wall" when he actually has to make his first life-or-death decision?

"Um, er, how about I just give a 'major' speech encouraging further dialogue . . .?"

I'm convinced that this socailist boob is so stuck on himself he has no idea what he's even attempting to get himself in to.

McCain is as big an issue.
His unpleasant demeanor, his all too willing compromises with Democrats, his anti-freedom policies such as environmentalism, and his hypocrisy - promoting himself as a fiscal conservative while voting for a massive bailout. This election is a lose/lose proposition for Americans.

annfan
Why the attitude? The dude was right. McCain's not too popular with anyone. Conservatives don't even seem to particularly like him. On the other hand, people do tend to like Obama. You can think that's because they're stupid or whatever. Certainly I have always thought that people who liked George Bush were total morons.
But what did that change? He was still our president for 8 crappy years. Now it's your turn to hate your president (hey I thought that was treason? Oh, never mind, apparently that's only true when GWB or Ronald Reagan is president).

Volta
Bush gave this country 5 years of boom, under 5% unemployment, near 0 percent inflation and interest, a stock market at 15,000, and NO more terrorist attacks at home OR overseas for seven years.

These stats were true into March of this year.

Maybe you don't care that we weren't bombed agin in Kenya or Tanzania or Yemen, let alone we weren't attacked on our own shores, but those events all occurred under Clinton, including the first Twin Towers bombing.

Bush eliminated another Hitler who was invading his neighbors, annihilating his own people with sarin gas and mass execution, and who had waged an 8-year war against a neighbor that killed approximately a million.

We said after Hitler, *Never again,* and you may not remember or care, but a Saddam Hussein in Saudi Arabia would mean your gasoline would be at $10 a gallon or nonexistent.

People who don't learn history are condemned to repeat it.

Penny
An asteroid didn't crash into the Earth and my dog didn't die. Am I supposed to give Bush credit for that too?

Diamond
Unfortunately, Diamond, Obama knows nothing about character and putting country first. He is a man who has associated with terrorists and hate-monging religious leaders, yet lied about each relationship. Until the liberal media stops hiding behind Obama's leftist illuminati rhetoric, the truth is never going to come out.

Obama vs. McCain
I find it hilarious that Obama supporters troll conservative blogs to spew their lies. I especially enjoy the attempt to tarnish McCain's reputation. Obama may well win this election, but if he does it will be done with lies and fraud, or because the people of this once great nation have fallen so far that they can't recognize the truth. God tells us there will come a time when good will be called evil and evil will be called good. Obama is a force of evil in this nation and if the American people vote him into office, God will likely allow them to get exactly what they asked for. Yes we have free will, but along with that free will comes a responsibility to discern the truth. Obama reminds me of another fella in history who constantly lies to the people. He told Eve, go ahead, eat from the tree of knowledge. You won't die, you'll just get smarter. Satan didn't really carry about Eve getting "knowledge", he only cared about his own agenda. Obama doesn't really care about this nation, he only cares about himself. In the end, those that follow such evil will have to answer for it. Ignorance will not be an acceptable excuse.

Dead On
Ross Mackenzie I really miss you being an editor for the Richmond Times Dispatch. Since you've left the editorial section have gone left; especially the "Letters to the Editor" feature which I've enjoyed reading for years, but not so much now. At least your columns bring good sense and reason to balance out the liberal views. You are dead on about why we should care about Obama's history, I only wish the liberal media did too!

Volta
I wish that I could transport you to an airport, and have you spout off your vapid comments about the last 8 crappy years of your life because of President Bush, amidst a group of soldiers returning from Iraq, or Afghanistan. You would not get far.

Ayers
William Ayers was a spoiled little rich boy. His Daddy was C.E.O. of big corporations. Typical sixties rebellion. He was mad at his daddy and his Mommy and he took it out on society. The weather Underground was loaded with idiots like ayers and his stupid wife Bernadine. They are elitists ideologues. So are Barry and Michele.

I am not so sure that this current
economic problem was not manufactured by the Democrats.

Fannie, Freddie, and CRA all had a large part in the meltdown. All were instituted by the Democrats. And CRA was pushed on the banks during Clinton by Democrats.

During the first 6 years of Bush II, the economy was still growing. Even so, GWH warned in his first term of problems with Fmae, Fmac, and CRA only to blocked in any efforts at correction by Democrats. And John McCain in 2005 of the same problems only to blocked Again by the Democrats.

Democrats took over both houses in 2007 and immediately gas prices soared. With the soaring gas, food prices jumped since everything is transported by truck. Thoughout these last 2 years Democrats continually claimed that Fmae, Fmac, and CRA were just fine.

Then in August, when Republicans wanted to talk about energy prices, Nancy P. shut off the micrphones and literally turned out the lights. There was NO reaching across the aisle as Bush II did at first or McCain says he intends to do... none.

And suddenly, those creations of the Democrats blew up and the meltdown was on. Of course the Democrats want to pin everything on Bush.

I pin it on Dems and I think they had a hand in the execution.

YES, Obama is lying!
Obama has been lying throughout his entire political career. I was born and raised in Chicago, and I know all about his tricks and deceptions. If you save enough Chicago newspaper clippings, the truth will come out.

Read the complete 1961-2008 "Obama Timeline" at:
http://www.colony14.net/id41.html

If you can read that and STILL believe Obama is not a socialist bent on changing the entire fabric of American life, I feel sorry for you - because you will believe anything.

And now we can look at Obama. The man
who came from nowhere. The man who has no substance. The man who never gives a straight answer. (Except for once, when Joe the Plumber asked him about taxes and Obama said it was good to share the wealth.) The man who has no certified birth record. It is like he is a ghost.

No great student at Occidental College, Obama went abroad to some Muslim countries and came back with enough money to go to Columbia and then Harvard. No great lawyer, Obama was selected by Bill Ayres to chair the Annenberg Challenge. Along the way, Obama had some dealings with Saul Alinski and learned his Rules for Radicals. Obama learned how to be a Community Organizer. He had dealings with ACORN and taught some in that organization to be Community Organizers. Obama even represented ACORN in a couple of trials. Obama, being the good Christian, was mentored by Jeremiah Wright for 20 years.

We know who Bill Ayres is and what he has done. We know about ACORN and some of the things they have done. We also know who Alinski is and what he stands for. We know who Jeremiah Wright is and what he thinks of America.

The ghost, the man from nowhere, hung around with anti-Americans and received support and money these men. Is seems possible that Ayres even ghost-wrote "Dreams from My Father".

All along the Obama road, it appears that the man was being groomed and pimped for the this moment.

Now take a Chicago Machine politician and mix him with the National Dem machine, doesn't it seem possible that the 'meltdown' happened at the right time to sink the GOP, divert all attention from 'the One' and propel Obama into the White House?

In connection with the article
The more we know about Obama, his friends, his ideals, who pulls his strings, the better America will be able to make an informed decision on Nov 4.

McCain can win with the economy issue!
The Economy is what most people are concerned about. McCain can win on the economy if we promote a grass roots effort that will get the country angry at the real culprits. If Republicans send out emails like I did to everyone on my email address list, then McCain could win! Elected public officials will only accept emails from their constituents.
Therefore I have access to only a few Republican politicians. If enough people who receive this email will email their friends, Republican representatives at every level from local to the president and every conservative talk show host then America will get the message.

This was the message;

I apologize for sending this unsolicited email, but I feel every American would like to know who caused our financial collapse which is causing your 401k and your home value to sink in value. We have been betrayed, not by the obvious greed of the banks, but by our congressmen who caused this to happen.

Let’s not put the fox in charge of the hen house. Please view all six sections of the very clearly produced video at the following link.
