Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Illinois Democrats close to Sen. Barack Obama are quietly passing the word that John Edwards will be named attorney general in an Obama administration.

Installation at the Justice Department of multimillionaire trial lawyer Edwards would please not only the union leaders supporting him for president but organized labor in general. The unions relish the prospect of an unequivocal labor partisan as the nation's top legal officer.

In public debates, Obama and Edwards often seem to bond together in alliance against front-running Sen. Hillary Clinton. While running a poor third, Edwards could collect a substantial bag of delegates under the Democratic Party's proportional representation. Edwards then could try to turn his delegates over to Obama in the still unlikely event of a deadlocked Democratic National Convention.

Helping McCain

Private overnight polls after Fred Thompson's withdrawal from the presidential race Tuesday showed a bump for Sen. John McCain in Florida's Republican primary Jan. 29.

Thompson did not endorse McCain, even though the former Senate colleagues are on close terms with each other. Nevertheless, McCain appears to have picked up much of Thompson's Florida voter support and now leads Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani in the last primary before Mega Tuesday Feb. 5.

The withdrawal of Tennessean Thompson leaves Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, as the last remaining Southerner in the Florida primary. However, Huckabee sacrificed hope of picking up Thompson's voters when he announced his cash-starved campaign was abandoning Florida and concentrating on Feb. 5, especially the Georgia primary.

No Earmark Talk

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell completely shut down any negative talk about earmarks during the closed-door Senate GOP retreat Wednesday at the Library of Congress, rejecting demands by anti-earmark reformers.

Sen. Ted Stevens, the senior Republican senator and former Appropriations Committee chairman who is under federal criminal investigation, delivered a pro-earmark lecture. He was seconded by two other appropriators, Robert Bennett and Kit Bond.

A footnote: The House Republican retreat at the Greenbrier resort, starting Thursday, scheduled a full-scale debate on earmarks. There was little chance, however, for the GOP congressmen to pass a quarantine on Republican members requesting earmarks this year.

Bush's Stimulus Switch

President Bush has quietly abandoned efforts to quickly pass a bill intended to help homeowners by strengthening the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and is concentrating on rapid passage of a stimulus package to put money in the hands of consumers.

Bush three weeks ago was nagging Congress to quickly reconcile differences between separate FHA bills passed by the Senate and the House. But he is now going along with a bipartisan effort to pass a "first" stimulus bill and worry about a "second" measure later.

A footnote: The FHA legislation has been stalled partly because Sen. Christopher Dodd was missing in action last year as Senate Banking Committee chairman while he campaigned for the Democratic presidential nomination. Dodd has abandoned that candidacy and returned to Washington, but there still has been no Banking Committee activity.

McCain in N.Y.

Sen. John McCain interrupted his crucial Florida primary campaigning Tuesday by flying to New York City for a $1,000- to $2,300-a-ticket fund-raising reception at the St. Regis Hotel that raised an estimated $600,000 to $1 million.

The event was chaired by longtime Republican finance powerhouse Lewis M. Eisenberg. The co-chairmen constituted an all-star New York establishment cast including Henry Kravis, James Forbes, Don Marron and Bob Mosbacher.

A footnote: McCain also launched his campaign for the Feb. 5 New York primary, challenging Rudy Giuliani in his home state. McCain's state chairman is Manhattan lawyer Ed Cox, Richard Nixon's son-in-law. Honorary co-chairmen are former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of Commerce Pete Peterson and former Deputy Secretary of State John Whitehead.

triciact
that was truly a disturbing picture. I had never seen the missus clinton looked so gooey eyed except at bubba. I had the feeling that should mclame lose the repub nomination he would run as the missus clinton's vp. With his history there is nothing that mclame could do that would be surprising.

the law and edweirds
exactly what does edweirds understand concerning the law. His career as ambulance chaser using junk science forced doctors out of business in nc while edwierds lined his pockets. He would be a perfect tool for the trial lawyers and their ilk. As another socialist he would respond to anyone who told him sdomething was evil. He wouldn't understand anything but would follow orders. We have already seem a dimwit at at in janet, confused sexuality, reno who did what both the missus clinet and i set up the wall garelick told her to do. She stood tough against the branch davidians and elian gonzalez but did nothing of accomplishment. Edweirds is of the same make-up. A pretty boy but of no intellectual depth

I said that's what
the schools have been teaching for 35 years; ergo, if you think the whole country has moved left, the public schools have been working at it night and day for over a quarter century.

That there are conservatives and Republicans and they get elected to offices is practically beyond belief.

Renny writes
"That social change has been force-feeding the acceptance 19th C. socialism and abandoning academic skills for heart-bleeding emotionalims.

Why go back in time and try something that has never worked in the first place? Definition of insanity....Keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results every time

Unlikely at best
To put John Edwards in as A.G., the Democrats are going to need to be holding at least 60 seats in the Senate. Otherwise his nomination will be filibustered, and the Democrats are on record as approving of this sort of thing, so it's not like they can cry foul, even though they will.

What was it ???
Rush said he might not vote for president if McCain is the candidate? I agree, and I'm NOT a Republican -- just an independent Independent who thinks a bit more like a Libertarian and detests (both) socialists and hypocrites, although they can be one-in-the-same, 'ay?
No, because I fear for the very SURVIVAL of this poor country, one which appears to be flushing itself down the toilet - - I can vote only for Rudy Giuliani. No one else.
I sure don't trust the opportunist, Mitt Romney, McCain is Teddy Kennedy's best friend and a real Liberal, Mike Huckabee's also a Liberal-in sheeps' clothing -- a pandering whore, and all the Marxist Democrats? Forget 'em!
Rudy or nobody. Period.
I will probably do what Alec Baldwin and Susan Sarandon (etc.) said they do, but didn't.....
if it ain't Giuliani, we'll either head for the Tamarindo shores, Jaco' or Golfito in Costa Rica -- or the Urca neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Really, there's more freedom and far less Political Correctness in Rio than in our once-wonderful USA; Brazil is loose, happy and FREE -- just the way our country was 40-50 years ago.....
Isn't that sad -

If we have moved left,
it is the triumph of the NEA and pub. ed. since 1972, when the NEA pres. said from now on, teaching would be the engine of social change.

That social change has been force-feeding the acceptance 19th C. socialism and abandoning academic skills for heart-bleeding emotionalims.

But there are still cons. who believe in smaller gov't, less taxation, free trade, and personal responsibility. I don't think evangelizals have given up on those principles entprely, even though some told pollsters in Iowa that they voted for Huckabee because they really didn't care who made the Rep. nominaiton.

for Upland Patriot
Upland Patriot writes: "The Republican party has moved left, too far left for its base to support."

Times change.

I hate to tell you this, but:

AMERICA has moved to the left. That's right, the whole damn country has moved left.

Go look at the polls. Or go talk to any of your co-workers or neighbors who are not part of the GOP base, and ask them their opinions on issues.

The country will not elect a hard right-wing President this year. Too much has changed. Even Christian evangelicals, the heart of the GOP base, are now bashing Wall Street and opposing free trade deals.

Too many Americans are being buffeted by globalization and the rapid pace of capitalist change to not want government protections such as trade protections and national health care.

You really have to stop this Reagan worship already. Reagan could NEVER have gotten elected in this country if the incumbent Carter had been a better, more popular President. Reagan did NOT win the election because he was a conservative. He convinced the so-called "Reagan Democrats" to vote for him because they believed Carter was running the country into the ground. They voted for Reagan DESPITE their doubts about his staunch right-wing views.

But that playbook can't work this year when the incumbent President is a Republican too.

The GOP has to change with the times. If the public wants a more progressive agenda, the GOP has to respond to that if it wants to win elections.

We should send Edwards to England...
...where the loser picks up the tab in a trial.

Then see how many of those cases with "potential high payouts" that he can claim a percentage of he still feels are worth fighting for.

Whatever makes him rich is okay with him... to do or to say. I have never seen a more slimey example of a pure politician.

Edwards is perfect for this primary, in fact. He makes the Clintons look moderate.

Edwards vs Reno vs Gonzales
Only difference I can see is that Reno has bigger B*!!'s. And maybe JE takes better care of his coiffure.

Are there any real men any more???

We'd be better off if KOOKcinich won. Think about it, Ideas so loony none would get passed and the Gov't would do nothing.

Remember a even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. Less is more!

""Seems they can't get what they need from the people they attempt to kill as their full time job and had to rely on their fellow arabs. ""

Best part is their fellow arabs don't trust 'em either. all stores near the break were ordered closed except for stores selling staple foods and gas.

But lets face it, they're ruled by a street gang with rockets.

SteveL
Since you brought up the palestinians, have you read about the recent border break? Seems they spent weeks weakening a 40 ft tall steel wall and then used explosives to take it down one day. They were attempting to break the seige of their land instituted by Israel. Was this the border between Gaza and Israel? No, this was the border between Gaza and Egypt, their fellow Arab brethren. Palestinians were seen coming back with televisions, new cell phones, and a lot of cigarettes. The embargo inflated price fell 70% in an afternoon.

Seems they can't get what they need from the people they attempt to kill as their full time job and had to rely on their fellow arabs.

Well, it isn't like they has a lot to choose from is it? Once they made the decision to vote Dem they were basically SOL without a paddle.

A vote for McCain, is a vote for amnesty
Recently, Senator John McCain's own mother said this when asked whether the Republican Base supported her son: Roberta McCain: “I don’t think he has any. I don’t know what the base of the Repub–maybe I don’t know enough about it, but I’ve not seen any help whatsoever.”

If you are a true republican, why would you support John McCain? A conservative's views on immigration, Bush tax cuts, etc. are not what Senator McCain believes. Bush has got to be one of our worst Presidents in the history of our country, John McCain would follow in his footsteps.

McCain is not for protecting the sovereignty of our country, he is for the so-called North American Union. He does not say that he will not grant amnesty for 12-20 million illegal citizens already here, AND an additional 80 million family members in their respective countries.

The Republican party has moved left, too far left for its base to support. Ronald Reagan was a model of what a Republican should be. John McCain, Lindsey Graham, GW-Bush, Huckabee are examples of what true conservative Republicans do not want in our party, namely RINO's.

Edwards as Attorney general?
OK, why not go all the way and put Jack Kevorkian as Surgeon General?
William "cold cash" Jefferson for treasury secretary.
Jane Fonda for secretary of defense.
Barney the dinosaur for Ed secretary.
Al Gore for interior of course.

And Hillary for dog catcher in bumfart arkansas.

Now that sounds like an Obama cabinet.

Democrats are so funny.

The S. C. Primary Just Proved my Post
A breakdown of voters by exit polling showed that not only was an almost solid bloc vote by blacks going for Obama but also young people voted for him. In other words, those who never new "malaise" and Jimmuh Carter are enamoured of the flashy fellow and the word C H A N G E writ large though there is nothing that follows.
>What sort of change?
>Who will do the changing?
>Who will be affected by the changes?
and on and on and on.
Only CHILDREN with absolutely zero ability in critical thinking could be snookered by Obama's rhetoric.
Yet that will get him elected POTUS and we will all suffer for it.
As was once said, eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.

The 72 virgins
Islamo-fascist-terrorist murderer martyrs wear bombs and kill innocent victims to get 72 virgins in Heaven. Knowing how Muslims treat all females, including their mothers, sisters and daughters, you can be sure they don't allow any females in Heaven. Conclusion: The 72 virgins are boys.

Renny
Yeah, that would be bad. Did you look at the two economic advisors?

I have been waiting to see if anyone actually knew who those people were or would check. LOL

Carlos,
Could sh** also be spelled Hellery Goddam Clinton?

for Robert: Brzezinski SUCKS
FYI, Zbigniew Brzezinski did an awful job as Carter's National Security Adviser.

Brzezinski was the one who told Carter to allow the Shah of Iran to come to the U.S. for medical treatment. You remember how well that went over with the Iranians. That decision was what triggered the Iranian hostage crisis.

Under Carter, we ended up with Communist forces all through Latin America, Communist forces in Angola, the Soviets in Afghanistan, etc. Brzezinski has to bear some responsibility for that.

And it was Brzezinski (NOT Ronald Reagan) who initiated the policy of arming and training jihadists in Afghanistan to fight the USSR. What did he think those jihadists would do if they succeeded? Go into retirement and collect Social Security?

That was the germ of the jihadist movement in Afghanistan that caused 9-11 and is happening today.

Finally, Brzezinski will be the most anti-Israel Secretary of State in decades. He wants to go back to the "even handed" policy between Israel and the Palestinians. Even though it was the Palestinians who openly celebrated the 9-11 attack on America. The Palestinians should be on their hands and knees begging us not to exterminate them for that outrage.

Vic, you make "Untraceable"--the movie
I just saw with its graphic violence--a mere daydream compared to the worst nightmare you envision.

I hope Obama splits the minority vote that has been so endentured to the Dems. since FDR. Everyone forgets that Lincoln freed the slaves, and northern minority voters were primarily Rep. into the 20s.

Better, Obama, Clinton, and Edwards fracture the Dems.' gender/racial pandering so much that many blacks do split off and give some support to Reps. Middle class blacks poll well as cons.

Otherwise, conservatives have to stop whining, unite behind a Rep. candidate and work to avoid a another 2 whackos on the Sup. Ct., more taxes on evcrything, all the lib./left agendas--GW, homosexuality, feminism, illegals, education/propaganda, medical rationing, and domestic insecurity and military humiliation over seas.

Inexperienced pres. like Clinton, Obama, Edwards, will give us the repaet of Carter who was subsumed by his own Dem. Cong. and turned into political dwarf, a position he has only confirmed year after year by endorsing Chavez and castigating Israel.

SkunkWorks Supt
The only problem with it is there are probably not enough virgins to go around. (Something they should consider working on)

>He will garner the majority of the black voting bloc.
>He will absorb the majority of the white liberal vote who will rush to the voting booth to show how pure and non-bigoted they are and so what if he is totally unqualified.
>Jorge Boosh has so completely destroyed the GOP that a significant portion of its former constituency will simply sit out the 2008 election thereby handing the election to the dhimmicrats.
>Internal friction in the GOP, fostered by bad tempered, sore losers such as McCain, Huckabee and Hunter, will despoil the mounting of a decent organization.
and....
within two years of such a feckless and incompetent administration,
A)Muslim sleeper cells will be activated fully leading to one catastrophe after another which the Obama cabal will be totally impotent to respond to.
OR
B)Vlad Putin will roll up his sleeves and tell the little boy in the White House to jump, tell him exactly how high and Obama will put on his dancin' shoes and DO IT.
Meanwhile, Vlad will begin to turn Mecca and Medina into glass parking lots as well doing likewise with Indonesia and other Muslim strongholds before he gives full attention to subjugating the USA as a new rayon (county) of Russia.
At least you will have to give Putin credit for keeping civilization from enduring another half millenium of dark ages as it did thanks to the tender ministrations of Muslims once before.

Repubs, LISTEN to tiny truth from Bill

“She and John McCain are very close,”

WHY JUAN MC CAINEEDY
he should be join with democraps cuz John McCain who wants to give blanket amnesty to 20 million illegal alien multiple-felony criminals (crossing the border twice is a felony, as is identity theft) who don't respect our laws, our language, our culture, or our sovereignty, should have his name spelled in the language of those he serves:

I had a problem wrote a letter to our senator McCain. I got the answer they don't deal with this kind of problems. Do you want the president who don't want to deal with your problems?

Open borders advocate Juan Hernandez has joined the McCain campaign

The Obama Administration
President – Chief goal – move the country further into communism and surrender to all world interests.

VP – Oprah; after she moves all of her money out of the country into offshore accounts. Her special project; collectivizing the nation’s schools into one organization dedicated to diversity and equalization of resources.

Secretary of State: Bill Clinton – he will handle the surrender of U.S. interests to the world.

Secretary of defense: Denise Kucinich – he will handle dismantling of the U.S. military to the level at which they can handle humanitarian missions.

Secretary of the Treasury: Sam Webb – responsible for the collectivization of all income producing resources.

Attorney General: John Edwards – responsible for assuring Capitol Hill haircuts are up to standard and suing any income producing organization that resists collectivization.

National Security Advisor: None – this position will be abolished.

Director OMB: Andrea Pason – responsible for assuring that all incomes are collectivized through the income tax structure.

Secretary of Homeland Security: Janet Reno – responsible for monitoring unauthorized black market activities in “for profit private” enterprise units, arresting illegal alien children who are fleeing communist countries for deportation, and rewarding illegal alien children from other countries. Also responsible for government hit squads for citizens who failed to turn in all weapons.

Since both Hillary and McCain seem to be picking sides among the old team mates, it presents alternate scenarios. If Hillary should win, their team comes out of the closet and McCains goes in. If team John wins, they come off the bench while Dems’ closet bursts at the seams. (you can only wait for so long!)

The AG
I think if Hillary is elected she should make Bill the AG. Then Bill could start investigating. Kinda like OJ looking for the real killer.

Stump bumps
Could this desision/rumor be because he already promised the VP spot to Oprah ?

AG Edwards
Whatever they're all drinking, I'll have the same. (... if I can draft a taster) There is already an AG Edwards that no doubt would like to preserve name recognition.

McCain is a Liberal
Let's face it, he's just a pro-war liberal like Lieberman.

Immigration.
Taxes.
Judges.
Environment.
Campaign finance.
Energy tax.
Conservative judges.
Marriage amendment.

He's loved by the Clintons, the New York Times, Lieberman, Ted Kennedy and the entire liberal media.

He's hated by basically every big-name conservative thinker.

Don't let this liberal version of Bob Dole make it as our nominee. He'll get torn apart and his fragile health will probably wither.

Vote Romney to save our party.

Isn't Dr Paul a southerner?
I have to wonder why a respected columnist ignores Dr Paul. Why no comments on the Louisiana caucuses?

Oh, goodie. Two for the price of one.
Not only will we get an undercover Muslim in the WH, we get a girly boy in the AG's office complete with his own hairdressing salon. My my, true diversity finally arrives. What, I wonder, do the liberals have in store for us next?

Let's see. Do I believe that a millionaire lawyer would want to be our Attorney General?
Duh......NO.

Very Funny, Very true, and Very Edwards.

With Edwards
as AG, I can see FISA going out the window..Terrorist being treated with kid gloves as well as violent criminals..It would be especially bad if obama could appoint justices to the Supreme Court. Obama would appoint justices who see the 2nd amendment as an annoyance and do anything possible to gut it possibly even declaring unconstitutional without going through the amendment process.
If that happens look for the people to start arming themselves and the militas becoming more active.

Speaking for the Dead
Oh, Goody! An AG who communes with the dead! Given the stupidity of the electorate I guess this mental illness issue could just be glossed over as another form of "diversity" rather than the craven lying that it is. Were it to happen, it would be quite a ride!

No money in AG?
Are you kidding, Wyoming? The AG decides who gets proscecuted. C'mon. A natural for Edwards. On the other hand, B Hussein could go to one of his backup men, say Alcee Hastings.

You have no idea of what Edwards is in reality. Read up on his corporate connections and investments. He is a poor snake oil salesman and would make a worse AG. He is what he campaigns against and the basis of his campaign is attacking what he supported as a senator.

Carlos
There you go. Cut off by a drunk Democrat politician, who was on his way to the polls to vote for a Demo politician who channels drunk politicians who had been run over by a drunk politician on hiw ay to vote for a drunk .....

Are we looking in the series of mirrirs here???

Argggg...caught in a do loop of drunk demos.

To All

Got to go into town, back later.

Vic
I can barely say it one time slow. Thinking of drunken lawyers running into each other does bring a smile to my face.

Vic oops...

I said, "Whenever you see a reckless driver, check whether their bumper sticker say Kerry or Bush".

Sure enough, most folks said they were cut-off by cars with Kerry bumper stickers.

Democrats drive with a rage... "Me First!"

Vic ...

When Kerry ran against Bush... I kept telling folks that Democrats were "angry" people.

I figured out a way to prove it. I said...

>Be nice if a few black folks did some serious thinking, though.<

This statement coming from someone who refers to Obama as B Hussein O. Now there's some serious thinking.

JEdwards will be a greatAttorney General
He is s o much more than a trial lawyer...Corporations have vigorous representation under all kinds of circumstances:
Why not the people? -Kathy

He'd make an outstanding AG
Certainly, anything is better than Seedy Gonzales and Judge "I love tortur-- er, I mean, tickle fuzzy hugs" Mukasey.

Imagine government officials actually being prosecuted for flagrant violations of the law. What a concept!!!

And if he saves us from Shrillary, can it be a bad thing? Send John a few bucks! :)

Attorney General
Of all cabinet positions, the Attorney General must be the most independent of the White House.

I would even go so far as to suggest that the AG is chosen in some other way than appointment by the President.

TRULIB
Here in SC we have a tradition of drunk driving politicians. LOL, wuldn't it be funny if the drunk driving politicians ran over politicians on the way to the polls to vote for other drunk politicians while they channeled drunk lawyers who want to be drunk politicians.

Can you say that 3 times fast?

Before Hillary gets to Upity...

Republicans will crawl through sh** to vote for McCain...

Well, maybe it'll just feel like we have to crawl :)

Just what we need for AG:
a liar who ruined drs. and hospitals based on the unscientific proposal that delivering babies causes cerebral palsy.

Heaven help us.

My Man Jones
Hillary's strategy to lose SC to black votes for B Hussein O, to pickup white backlash votes down the line has been proposed here before. Could happen, could even be planned. But the Dems do stick together, glued by fear of those to the right. No matter who winss the nomination, sadly, the usual suspects will probably do the yellow dog democrat move. Be nice if a few black folks did some serious thinking, though.

Black votes, bad medicine for Obama
It is hard not to appear racist when commmenting on such a thing, however if Obama were part Indian there would be little difficulty, but touting the black vote still triggers white backlash. The whites see more black favortism coming with a black President.

Edwards/Obama won't fly. Hillary could pick up enough new women's votes to carry her to the nomination. So it is either Hillary vs Romney or vs McCain.

Don Jones

Attorney General Edwards
.... that government of the trial lawyers, by the trial lawyers and for the trial lawyers shall not perish from the earth.

Dittos on the hangover. I've gotten so I feel just a couple of beers the next day. Probably a good thing.

Hey Vic, wouldn't that make a great YouTube piece? Driving drunk and only hitting politicians!

It Has Come To This
Voting for a Demo socialist or social-communist, or a Repub who doesn't have a straight story. Will Edwards sue lawyers? If he gets the job will it be the beginning of a new life of doing the right thing or a continuance of his old self? The AG job is political, so any politician could handle it. The office in the DOJ has a very large closet full of mouths. The AG picks one to match the day's events. But how could he be worse than Jorge Bush's selections?

Apparently Novak didn't hear that

Juan Hernandez endorsed McCain!!!!

Remember Juan, slick back hair, smarmy smiling, "we need open borders, my friend" ... we're all one country, Hernandez?

I'd call that the "kiss of death."

The best thing to do would be to show up at the polling place really drunk. There would be a good chance you wouldn't remember who you voted for. I will have to be really, really drunk to vote for McLame.

Fox is talking about this
Novak column with the Ambulance Chaser being an AG. They are doing that story side by side with a story about some stupid woman who was recorded on the phone laughing about killing a bicyclist while driving drunk and the judge landing on her head in sentencing after hearing the call and her laughter.

If we apply Edward’s past history to that case, as Attorney General, he would channel the dead bicyclist and have the judge removed from the bench in the name of justice of course.

BTW, the judge really landed on her alright; she got 10 years. In SC for felony DUI with a death the minimum sentence is 5 to 25 years and she would have got at least 10 years WITHOUT the laughter. If a judge here heard the laughter she probably would have got the full 25 years, unless she was a politician.

McCain?
I'm getting my great-grandfather's WWI Gas Mask nose-clip out and cleaned-up in case McShame gets the nod so I can more effectively hold my nose to vote.

I see Sen. Mitch McConnell
and the Republican leadership still doesn't get it. I hope the House Retreat next week will produce some anti-earmark fervor, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Another golden opportunity missed...

Ambulance Chaser
What will be his stance as USAG?

"A Lawsuit happens every 30 seconds in America?"

Check my blog (click on my handle) for the latest DNC publication on how to be a better liberal.

Good ole' Novak
He must be living under a rock as far as the polls go. Overnight “private” polls show McShame got a bump from Fred dropping out. LOL, Bob, how convenient that these are private polls. Well, the public polls and the “blog” polls of conservatives show that McShame got NOTHING and Romney’s numbers went up.

As for the stimulus package, if things keep going the way they were headed yesterday with the Lames sensing a victory in passing some more socialistic legislation and piling in the literal kitchen sink, it will go nowhere. LOL, the Lames are good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I do hope they continue and this bill goes down the drain.

And I see that all the pundits have signed on to what I predicted after the Iowa vote, Obama will slaughter Billery in SC.
