Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

As the details of the Senate immigration bill unfold, it is becoming apparent that the globalists' plan for the economic integration of North America is not just a figment of the imagination of conspiracy theorists, or an "urban legend" as one newspaper called it, or even a pipe dream of far-out world federalists.

The bill will accomplish economic integration by legalizing 12 million to 20 million illegal immigrants immediately and inviting millions more (relatives of the amnestied plus guest workers) to enter legally in the coming years. Not only does the compromise bill reached by the White House and Senate call for integrating millions of poor, uneducated Mexicans into the U.S. economy and giving them and all their distant relatives extraordinarily generous handouts of social benefits, it calls for U.S. foreign aid to Mexicans still living south of the border.

The 600-plus page bill fails to mention its biggest effect: the immense tax burden it will impose on the U.S. middle class. The bill will require U.S. taxpayers to finance what is, in essence, a multi-billion dollar purchase of Mexican poverty.

Title VI of the bill will instantly turn 20 million illegal immigrants now in the United States into legal residents. Nobody knows the exact number, but because the bill has no cap and makes it advantageous to declare yourself an illegal immigrant, fraud will probably grow the number (as did the number who were granted amnesty by the 1986 bill signed into law by President Ronald Reagan).

The big majority of these illegal immigrants are low-skill, low-wage high school dropouts. An in-depth Heritage Foundation study by Robert Rector estimates that the average low-skill household receives $30,160 in taxpayer-paid benefits from all levels of government.

Heritage estimates that the average low-skill household pays only $10,573 in taxes at all levels. Each household, therefore, lays a net cost on U.S. taxpayers of $19,588 per year, which added up to $564 billion in 2004. The Heritage Foundation is a conservative public policy research institute based in Washington, D.C. From 1995-2005 the foundation ran Townhall.com.

In addition to public schools, low-income Americans are the beneficiaries of more than 60 federal means-tested aid programs, including Medicaid; Earned Income Tax Credit, a cash handout that averages $1,700 per year per household; food stamps; Section 8 housing, public housing; Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, or TANF; school lunches and breakfasts; the Women, Infants and Children, or WIC, nutrition program; Social Services Block Grants, or SSBG; and legal services.

Most Americans are unaware of the enormous government transfers from taxpaying Americans to those who pay little or no income taxes.

About 45 percent of illegal immigrants work in the underground economy, thereby avoiding all income and employment taxes. And, because Mexicans send $23 billion a year of their earnings in remittances back to their home country, they pay little sales taxes for purchases of U.S. products. Title IV, Section 413, locks the bill into the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which President Bush agreed to with Mexican President Vicente Fox at Waco, Texas, in 2005.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership, in turn, is locked into the five-year plan spelled out in the Council on Foreign Relations document called "Building a North American Community," which called for massive U.S. foreign aid as part of economic integration. It's no surprise that the Senate immigration bill calls on U.S. taxpayers to "improve the standard of living in Mexico." In addition to the heavy costs that the bill would impose on current U.S. taxpayers, it is truly awesome to contemplate the burden put on future taxpayer when the amnestied immigrants and their many relatives retire and collect Social Security and Medicare. Heritage estimates that the net retirement costs - benefits minus taxes - could be more than $2.5 trillion, which is five times the cost of the Iraq war.

Globalists try to tell us that bringing in more workers will expand and enrich our economy. That's nonsense. If millions of low-skill, low-wage workers could build a country's wealth, Africa and South America would be the richest countries in the world, and obviously they are not.

The influx of tens of millions of low-skill workers, who pay almost no taxes and send $23 billion of their earnings out of the country, will increase U.S. poverty and impose a tremendous burden on U.S. taxpayers. The increased supply of low-skill workers will also depress the wages of low-skill Americans who compete for low-wage jobs.

The terrible costs of the Senate immigration bill's buyout of Mexican poverty is not the legacy we want to leave our children and grandchildren. Because the bill and its advocates never address the issue of costs, it's up to the voters to hold their senators responsible.

It Is A Conspiracy
Washington knows what they need to do to address the problem, but it does not fit their agenda.

That's why it takes hundreds of pages of rhetoric
to hide what they really want to do.

Lodestar makes some good points.

This bill will separate the classes even greater than they are already.

CRIME
LET'S TALK ABOUT CRIME
STOLEN Soc. Sec ##, falsified documents, not paying taxes - ALL THAT IS OK with proamnesty idiots.
Mr. liberal, tell us how much you like those crimes?

Phyllis is spot on correct!
It is really mind-boggling when some speak about the "cheap" labor we get from ILLEGAL aliens. The inconvenient truth is that only a few owners are benefiting from them, BUT they are NOT passing on those savings!

Phyllis is RIGHT-- American taxpayers and society are eating the EGREGIOUS concomitant costs of ILLEGALS-- and they are IMMENSE and GROWING. Your hotel room is NO cheaper becuase an ILLEGAL cleaned it. Your Swift meats are no cheaper.

This bill is a monster scam! Presidente Jorge sees his legacy in a death spiral, so he is trying with his allies on the left and the employers who want to stick it to the taxpayers to ram this through. But Middle America rightly sees that it is just lipstick on another monster govt. pig.

Other than tax cuts and court appointments, Presidente Jorge has demonstrated a remarkable tendency to pursue the WRONG objectives, including on the two critical issues of his tenure-- his neoCON war of choice in the wrong place against the wrong enemy, and his criminal neglect of his oath of office in failing to defend and protect our border. My god, even Chertoff admits that there are 2 MILLION miscreant ILLEGALS here. What the heil-- let's allow 20 million of them to stay and bring the relatives! Great Caesar's Ghost!

speaking truth to power, America!
Encouraging news, Middle America-- while it is true that the Conspiracy Of Evil (see definition just below) expected to cram this thru Congress, and some variation may well pass the Senate, we ARE successfully rattling their cages. See power of the other side here:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/05/15/AR2007051502022.
html

A pundit yesterday said that ANY RINO Senator will tell you that calls are running against the nascent Scamnesty bill 100:1. The other side IS powerful (organized and monied), but YOU are answering them with what they sometimes fear
in Congress-- the vox populi... popular opinion/votes! Keep up the pressure-- see how just below!
________________________________________________

Have you noticed how many columnists are speaking out against the BS served up by the apologists for ILLEGAL aliens, speaking truth to the power of the Conspiracy Of Evil? [miscreant employers; scandal-ridden Catholic Church leaders seeking replacement contributors; open borders, NAU globalists seeking unrestricted cheap labor; the weird, anti-America, multicultural, PC crowd;
leftists seeking a permanent entitlement Big Brother government; self-aggrandizing pols].

They say that Presidente Jorge and many in the Senate are dumbfounded that Middle America is so irate about the pending Scamnesty. [Then again, it does not take much to perplex Dubya!] The truth is that the remote "elites" see the
ILLEGAL invasion in theoretical terms. The massive, monied organized lobbies they hear most from make them imagine that it is a sure thing that we should naturalize 15-20 million (who would turn into 60-100 million just like them soon enough!) undereducated, indigent, ethnocentric, "cheap" laborers... that America
"must have them to do all of those jobs Americans won't do." THEIR children do not go to schools decimated by the ILLEGAL invaders... the rich LIKE their cheap ILLEGAL help nodding deferentially as they tend their lawns and mow the fairways at their private clubs as the "elites" walk by to climb into their Mercedes
SUV's.

But Middle America in its straightforward wisdom sees through the shell game... it realizes that the teeming masses of uneducated, indigent ILLEGAL alien laborers are REALLY only benefiting a few business owners (who do NOT pass on the "savings") at the unbridled expense of ALL... that the downside of letting them all naturalize here will be CATASTROPHIC... that Americans would be MUCH BETTER OFF if employers simply paid a bit more to hire Americans-- like they always have before. Indeed, the jobs at Armour, etc., are quickly filled by Americans after rare "show raids" clear out infestations of ILLEGALS.

Amazingly, even the new LIBERAL-commissioned CBS/N.Y. TIMES poll says that Americans oppose key goals of apologists for ILLEGAL aliens and the architects of the pending Scamnesty:

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/25/us/25poll.html?pagewanted=print

TIMES poll excerpts:
"Most of those polled agreed that illegal immigrants should eventually be allowed to APPLY to become American citizens. BUT 59 percent said illegal immigrants should be CONSIDERED for citizenship ONLY AFTER legal immigrants who
have played by the rules." [Ergo, no path to amnesty! This question was disingenuous-- other polls show that a substantial majority opposes a path to citizenship for those who came here ILLEGALLY UNLESS they go home first and get
in line-- that says: NO SCAMNESTY!]

"In the poll, 75 PERCENT of those who responded favored TOUGHER PENALTIES FOR EMPLOYERS of illegal workers, and 82 PERCENT said the federal government should DO MORE TO REINFORCE THE BORDER."

"Among those polled, a majority of 51 percent favored overhauling the American immigration system to make it more attuned to economic demands, GIVING PRIORITY TO JOB SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT. Only 34 percent said that immigrants with family ties in the United States should take precedence."

Here are some more objective, detailed poll results which show what happens when the questions become more precise about views on immigration and what we want America to be:

euphemistic myths being perpetrated...
about ILLEGAL aliens...

Have you noticed that when the advocates and apologists for ILLEGALS state their cases that they seem vacuous and facile prima facie/on the surface? Consider:

DISINGENUOUS FALSE PREMISES AND SCARE TACTICS:

The "undocumented" are just doing jobs that Americans won't do that we must have done... they give more than they take... they pay into S.S. funds they will not get back... they have lesser rates of crime than legal Americans... they just
want to share in the blessings of America just like the rest of us, which they have ever right to do... resentment against them is racist/xenophobic-- they are really no different from prior waves of immigrants who were also resented, but who assimilated and made America great... the proposed legislation is not amnesty... Americans generally believe in a path to citizenship for those already here... we cannot simply round up and deport 12-20 million... the only crime they have committed is akin to jaywalking

DEMYTHOLOGIZING REALITIES & INCONVENIENT TRUTHS:

1) ILLEGALS ARE INDEED taking many jobs that Americans will gladly do, driving down wages, and permeating myriad concomitant inimical problems (crimes, barrio blight, drugs, gangs, illegitimacies, droputs, balkanization, diseases) like a
plague of fire ants or killer bees.

2) ILLEGAL aliens do NOT contribute more than they take, because the government services alone used by the uneducated indigent GREATLY exceed any minimal taxes paid (mostly sales taxes, etc.). Heritage calculates that each household headed by the undereducated indigent (legal OR ILLEGAL) will drain over $1 million in
the course of a lifetime:

http://www.heritage.org/Research/Immigration/wm1076.cfm

3) Presidente Jorge has already committed to send already unfunded and threatened S.S. funds south to Mexico, and ILLEGALS would become eligible much sooner than American taxpayers... Gaucho Jorge promised THEM while visiting in Mexico recently that he would work for THEM on this Scamnesty legislation! That is TREASON!

4) Latino rates of crime and other social pathologies are, sadly, pandemically troublesome (the reasons are irrelevant to this discussion really-- facts are stubborn things), and worse among the poorer ones like most coming in ILLEGALLY (more than half have only a 7th grade education, assuring the snowballing of the
associated social problems):

http://www.amren.com/Reports/Hispanics/HispanicsReport.htm
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=M2Q5ZWZiOTU2OTY1YWEyZDFiYTliNTRmMzk0ODIwMmE=
http://www.immigrationshumancost.org/index.html

5)they are NOT just like prior waves of immgrants in several ways... there are far more at once, there is no ocean separating them from the old cultures, they are clinging to same with no desire to assimilate, and the PC/multicultural ilk is aiding and abetting the ethnocentricity with bilingualism... furthermore, America is a VASTLY different nation socio-economically than it was when many LEGAL immigrants came historically-- we can benefit on balance today ONLY FROM EDUCATED, SKILLED IMMIGRANTS, which is NOT the norm among the great unwashed running across the border.

6) the pending Scamnesty is PRECISELY that, and the all-in implcations are egregious:

http://www.firesociety.com/article/12134/

7) Americans are rightfully indignant about the nonfeasance of the govt. which has allowed the ILLEGAL invasion to become an infestation. It is NOT that we are afraid of diversity as Presidente jorge lamely and disingenuously opined-- we
already are the most diverse nation on earth! Ad hominem braying about "racism" is the calumny of artful scoundrels. When polled HONESTLY, Americans rightfully have profound concerns about unbridled immigration, especially ILLEGAL invaders:

http://www.cis.org/articles/2006/back906.html
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=20530

8) the artful ploy that "we cannot deport 12 million" is a false argument-- TRUE enforcement of EXISTING LAWS would result in attritive repatriation at THEIR expense-- the same way they got here... we need only the political will to
reflect the desires of Middle America.

9) the facile remote "elitist" PC theories of bilingualism and multiculturalism are doomed to failure. Even in countries with essentially the same ethnicity and culture, bilingualism alone creates crises. It is NOT our immigration system which is broken-- it is FAILURE to enforce laws on the books for many years.

10) as to scurrilous Geraldo-ilk suggestions that "these good people" are committing minor crimes akin to jaywalking in crossing the border, this is but the first of what become serial patterns of lawbreaking including tax dodging, identity fraud, welfare cheating, etc. ad nauseam.

supporting data: costs of ILLEGALS

Senator Menendez (D.-N.J.) and other apologists for ILLEGAL aliens are whining about proposed changes that would place more emphasis on education and job skills for immigrants versus chain migration of relatives. They say it would
constitute an assault on family unification.

But other advanced countries have learned that if you allow the uneducated indigent to keep flooding in, you simply snowball myriad social problems ad infinitum. The experience in Europe mirrors ours-- scamnesty leads to tidal waves of new ILLEGALS because they anticipate more scamnesty. The Heritage data of $2.5 trillion in deficit taxes estimated for the 12 million who might get amnesty relates JUST TO government services used versus taxes paid. But that does NOT include pandemic social pathologies such as crime, drugs, barrio blight, ethnocentricity, balkanization due to bilingualism, etc. Furthermore, this Scamnesty could REALLY MEAN 60-100 million underedcuated, poor immigrants over the next 20 years. That, in turn, means that new voters would vote for a massive welfare state which would suck the vitality out of the American dream... we are indeed slouching toward Gomorrah.

Another thing which easily gets missed... you hear stories of poor ancestors who came over in 1900, worked hard, made a success of themselves, and readily embraced being an American.

Today, there are several HUGE differences:
1) America is no longer an economy with a lot of jobs for the uneducated and unskilled; we can ONLY BENEFIT from educated, skilled immigrants now

2) most new foreign-born residents are hispanic, undereducated, and poor-- they are exhibiting little desire to assimilate, and are being aided and abetted in their disparate agenda by misguided and ill-fated PC multiculturalism... EACH ONE crashes the border as a sure net drain on resources-- see Heritage calculations above

3) prior immigrants were not nearly so numerous so abruptly, and they were LEGAL; this bill IS SCAMNESTY, no matter how much Presidente Jorge and others put lipstick on the pig in a poke.

Inconvenient facts from U.S. Border Control--
http://capwiz.com/usbc/index_frame.dbq?url=http://capwiz.com/usbc/home/

95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually
53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border.
71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or "transport coyotes".
47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.
63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens
66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.

BIRTH STATISTICS
380,000 plus "anchor babies" were born in the U.S. in 2005 to illegal alien parents, making 380,000 babies automatically U.S.citizens and, under our laws, entitled to invite the rest of their family to join them.
97.2% of all costs incurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayers.
66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

Replace the People, not the Government..
I found this report from a Mexican involved in the PAN election for Fox during 1999-2000. He interfaced with some of "our" politicians during that time and during both the Democrat and Republican conventions. You need to read his alert to the American people. What "our" elites plan is a systematic genocide against We the People, replacing us with pliant, corrupt, ignorant masses from Latin America.

The Center for Immigration Studies has the backgrounder here:

http://www.cis.org/articles/2006/back706.html

Entitlements Americans Won't Take
Can you imagine when those wonderful illegals who are only here to do the jobs Americans won't do get their amnesty: the people at the government offices will be working unlimited overtime processing the applications for welfare, medicaid, medicare, foot stamps, SSI, etc etc. Gee I wonder if their terrible $5000.00 fine (which they won't pay anyhow) will cover it.
I sent an e-mail to McCain yesterday telling him that perhaps he could have his buddy Teddy Kennedy, the murderer of Chappaquiddick, vote for him in my state's Republican primary.
Because I won't be.
As a matter of fact, it will give me great joy to vote against him.

On Target
Virginia Patriot, your post "America's Future" was excellent!

Thank GOD!
I thought I was the only one who was going to come to the realization that the forces behind the North American Community concept are far more evolved and far too widespread to be stopped by the vote of an American citizen. Watching CSPAN shows how ludicrous our governmental process has become. Bullets will have to replace votes at this point. The only hope I have for writing the elected is if the American people state emphatically that they will stop paying taxes and take up arms. Our government fears us not......it's time they start! See how well fear of violence motivated Mr. McCain?

Cost vs. Economic Benefit
I heard one pro-amnesty talking head the other day refer to a Rand Corporation study to refute the Heritage Foundation study. I went to their website and looked it up, and then I looked to see how pundits and analysts were talking about the study.

The over-simplified gist is that the plus to the economy, not on an individual basis, but by (!) taking into account the progeny of the amnestied illegal workers, far outweights the cost of the illegal person himself.

I would have to do more reading, but I am interested in two things:

One, what is the Robert Rector's response or rebuttal to the Randy study; and,

Two, can someone help me understand how the economic plus helps the middle class? The way I see it, that even if the illegal gets a working card, he or she will work in this country and allow his or her dependents to stay here as well. All those services that have a cost, get paid for by the taxpayers. Are the taxpayers the corporations, both small and large, who hire the illegals? No, the taxpayers are the middle class. So even if the illegal is contributing financially, the cost will continue to press on the middle class, increasing taxes and depressing wages, which is double poison to the middle class.

Anyone else have any insight on this study? I'd like to hear more.

Immigration Bill
Excellent article by Ms. Schafly. The approximate increase in income taxes per person and/or per household should be stated in all articles pertaining to increased immigration. This would help drive home the enormous costs for the average taxpayer.

Not again...
Haven't we done this before? And weren't the same positives touted then? This is B.S., plain and simple. The RNC wonders why its donations are down. I urged Bush and the RNC before the 2004 election: Deal with this issue or this country will suffer; Deal with this issue or Bush and the Republicans who stand up for national security are hypocrits; Deal with this or you will not get another dime of my money. I just received a fundraising call the other day, and I told the guy, "I'm sorry. I'm saving my money for the tax increase that will inevitably follow the amnesty bill." I urge you to do the same.

Phyllis Radioactive
I've always wondered how effective Phyllis was in bringing in new conservatives. I've always assumed she was not effective at all, mainly because she's such a terrible listener.

In my blog today (click on name), I wrote about the perncious idea that "all opinions are created equal." I responded to one particular comment, but it applies generally to many of comments made on TH. As always, your comments are welcome.

Note: In the comments to the right, I express my irritation with one "Fiddler," who says Rudy Giuliani is not a "lock" because Fiddler doesn't like him. I point out that I went to great length to explain -- factually and logically -- why I believe Giuliani would get the nomination. Of course, I may be wrong. However, Fiddler didn't lift a finger to deal with the points I made. Yes, it's a free country and, yes, "talk radio" has convinced everyone that his or her half-baked "opinions" are sacrosanct, but give me a break. One of the worst aspects of modern life is how some people confuse their own experience with that of the other six billion individuals on the planet. Everything that happens to me is not immediately applicable to everyone else. If I'm hit by lightning, it doesn't mean everyone in town is in imminent danger of incineration. There's a concept called "solipsism," in which someone becomes convinced that the universe is his or her mental invention, or, stated another way, that all of reality is contained in one person's head. It isn't. Fiddler: get another hobby. For much of the rest of the week, I'm going to be writing about immigration and why I support the current proposal, along with some enforcement additions.

Lolo
If you are going to call people names, the least you can do is use the correct word *you're* instead of the word *your* when you mean to contract the two words *you are*.
Who's the idiot?

It's Time ...
Dr. Thomas Sowell said it on Hannity and Colmes. What is needed is revolution. Thomas Jefferson said as much.
It is time to think seriously about picking up our guns and ending the most irresponsible and unresponsive government in our nation's history.

Let the Celebrations Begin!!
If the Idiot-In-Chief signs a comprehensive immigration bill, let's hope the Democrats will treat us to images on tv of national in-the-streets celebrations. After the '08 elections, these "new citizens" will help insure the Democrats' reign for as long as the nation exists [which will be short].
God has a sense of humor. In order to bring judgment on the American people, he has sent us Hillary, and the loon from Texas, the evangelical Christian, who, with a single stroke of the pen, doomed his own party and has set in motion the destruction of his own country. ROFLOL.

It's true
Our president, and other policians want to form a North American Union by 2010!!

We have to stop them, or all is lost!!

America's Future

These next 2 years are vital to the future of this country. For 2007 we must make certain that McCain/Kennedy or whatever it's called this year does not pass the House. It will pass the Senate. The President will sign it, followed by the Totalization Treaty with Mexico, which qualifies former illegals with just 6 qtrs(18 mo) even if worked illegally, the benefits that we had to work 40 qtrs(10 yrs) to qualify for.

In 2008 we must make the candidates address border security and immigration enforcement.
20-30 million citizens of other countries are in our country illegally, 55% from Mexico, most of the rest from other Central and South American countries. Let's not ignore the leftward voting trends of these countries. It is notable that they picked May Day, an old communist day of celebration for their marches.

Most polls show at least half of the American citizens of Hispanic descent want the borders and laws enforced. Republicans will not win by alienating their current voters to get 40% of a new small block that will grow very large, very fast if amnesty is granted. That will grow the Democrats vote larger and faster as the influx increases exponentially as the result of another amnesty. It will spell the end of the Republican Party. The people who used to vote Republican will stop voting or form a new party. Conservatives will lose political influence and we will slide inexorably towards socialism (it has already started).

Most of what you hear about this issue is political propaganda that tries to convince you to give up your country without a fight, including on Fox News. The big money players are all on board the cheap labor express, they care not that American citizens do not want another amnesty. We know the last one resulted in 10 times the number of illegal aliens and a general disregard of our laws. The next one will be equally successful.

We need Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, not reform. We need to restore respect for the law and the faith of the American people that their government is not selling them out. Amnesty for the illegal aliens is also amnesty for the corrupt companies who have been employing them. Money trumps everything, including love of country. Multi-nationals have no loyalty to country by definition, they see us as a market, not a nation. They see people as workers, documented or undocumented, no difference. If they can't send the work to where the labor is cheaper, then they want to bring the cheap labor here. Citizenship is meaningless.

If we love our Constitution and our representative Republic and we intend to keep it we must not surrender our sovereignty or abandon the rule of law. Profits must not supercede security. We should not create a new path to citizenship. We have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other country, illegal aliens have ignored it and bad choices do have consequences.

Non-reversible
There is no "Oops, we made a mistake, let's go back to the way it was" with this one. They're already trying to tell us that we can't get rid of 12 million, so when they integrate Mexico into the US, there will be how many millions free to swarm through the US?

So let me guess which country will give up its sovereignty. Will we have the United States of Mexico? One president(e) will have to go, and at the rate of concessions (all one way), you can bet it will be ours.

And how about the national language? They don't want to speak our national language when they're here. Do you really think they're going to give it up when we merge into one happy family?

I don't understand why any country's leaders would willingly surrender their country to another. How could this possibly be good for the US, its citizens, or the world, for that matter.

The US does more good for more countries. Taking on the debt load for a corrupt basket-case economy like Mexico is asinine. They've shown repeatedly that they cannot handle economic success. How many successful, profitable companies have we sent down there, for no appreciable benefit. Our companies have left and gone all over the world, bringing up the standards of living. But Mexico? Still a basket-case. And in the end, the US will be bankrupt from trying to haul these economic losers into reality.

This is the same warped mentality that is used by the freaks that think that repeatedly handing someone a welfare check to sit at home and watch Ricki Lake is a viable method for making people productive members of society.

This is "How to destroy an economy in one easy lesson".

Complete nonsense
Ms. Schlafly does not know the basic facts about immigration, does not understand how society works, and has complete lack of understanding of fundamental concepts that this country was built upon. She talks complete nonsense. The Freedom of Migration Act is the only solution that makes sense.

Tell me, what is wrong in the Freedom of Migration Act?

DESKJOCKEY RESPONDS:

Henryk, welcome, I’m sure you feel right at home in the People’s Republic of AmeriKa. Well there is so much wrong with that UN proposal that I don’t know where to begin. Of course you use the old Lenin tactic of false alternatives to arrive at a determined conclusion. I’m not going to get into detail as I have covered this over and over on other threads herein. So I'll just make some bullet points.

That our country politicians have been desperately trying to destabilize the country by colonizing it with the most uneducated folks of the world in the past 25 years is resolved by the voters. Voters must weigh their tolerance of the politician’s miscreant behavior against the entitlements he delivers. We don't just employ UN Utopian fantasy schemes as the solution.

The immigration problem will be dealt with in ‘08. It will be a battle between the Chamber of Commerce that wrote the bill to promote illegal immigration, not legal although some of that may take place, and how much money they deliver the politicians. The politicians figure their best bet is to sell out to the Chamber hoping a huge marketing campaign for independent voters will save them from their lost base.

Free market migration is a Utopian fantasy of the UN to ultimately remove borders and prepare the world for the one world giver-ment and our DC masters are right in step with that objective. Why is it Utopian fantasy? Well it violates the teachings of the Bible, it violates the laws of nature, it violates all known history of mankind, and when such colonization has taken place it has destroyed the existing culture. In our particular case we certainly don’t see the Indian culture as the dominant AmeriKan influence as the reward for their open arms of free market migration.

In essence you claim that man has a right of migration that supersedes a country’s people’s right of association protected by borders. Therefore we must first find where that UN right comes from and if there is proper authority to grant such right.

I would suggest that rather than try the UN Utopian schemes with the crown jewel of the world, would it not be more responsible to risk only a small portion of the world portfolio and maybe try it in Poland first. Now the good and well meaning Arabs will have a place to colonize with open arms? Then in 20 years when Sharia law is the democratic demanded law of the land we can better decide if we want to risk our crown jewel in some UN Utopian fantasy that attracts folks like you to AmeriKa. Ruin your own country first. Remember the Polish saying, “do no one no favors, they’ll do you no harm".

Here is what our founder said this country was founded on, John Jay, in Federalist Paper titled, "Concerning Dangers from Foreign Force and Influence."… "Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people -- a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs..."

You have a right to come to this country and express your UN Utopian fantasies, but you don’t have a right to change the history of this nation’s facts.

We heard that before. remember?
….We heard the same thing from the opponents of the Vietnamese airlift. They all said we couldn't absorb the Vietnamese people into our society so quickly, yet we did and nothing happened as a result of it. We heard the same thing about cost, the enonomy, Vietnamese people taking American jobs, and the Vietnamese people living in Vietnamese communities and not speaking English. Now, all we hear from the opponents of the Vietnamese airlift are complainst about street signs being in Vietnamese. Opponents never change, all they do is complain.

DESKJOCKEY RESPONDS.

Duh, and they were right. The most recent proof, after 35 years of assimilation, is Vang who killed 6 and wounded three after a tree stand dispute. His culture sees nothing wrong killing them as Hmong don’t understand property rights and shoot wherever and at whoever they please. “Locals have complained that the Hmong, refugees from Laos, do not understand the concept of private property and hunt wherever they see fit.”

We have them in my city also. They are all on welfare and can’t speak English after 35 years.

Yup, we heard this before and we apparently don’t learn from just complaining, we need to vote these morons out of office and stop listening to left wing radicals that want to destabilize AmeriKa to usher in their Utopia. If you keep doing what you been doing you’ll keep getting what you been getting.

Tom Tancredo Gets It
Tom Tancredo, R. CO gets it and has been sounding the alarm for years on the invasion of this country much to the dismay of the Bush, McCain, Kennedy types. He is called a second tier candidate but it seems his stand is the same as 86% of the people. It is high time that 86% of us get behind him and take our country back. This support has to come from us little people as the Tyson Foods types, Bank of Amiego's types will not be contributing.

The Mexican dilemma
This illegal Alien bill will be the bigest disaster ever to hit this country. The consequences of this bill will make 9/11 look like an economic bull market. This country is not a job bank for the rest of the world. Kennedy and company are trying to sell us that. The problem is that most Americans don't know enough about the bill or its consequences, they are too busy watching American Idol. The idea of
supporting Mexican welfare is outrageous - how many Americans know about that facet of the bill.
Right your Senators today - I have twice already.

Why would you trust Bush?

The White House is sending a message to border guards not to do a good job.

FS-Under questioning by Rep. John Culberson, a Department of Homeland Security representative admitted that his department did NOT have evidence to back up a number of claims made to members of Congress last fall to bolster its case against imprisoned agents Ramos and Compean, including: that the agents “wanted to shoot a Mexican,” confessed to shooting an unarmed suspect, were belligerent to investigators, lied and submitted false reports, and stated during the investigation that the illegal alien did not pose a threat.

According to Culberson, “(DHS Inspector General) Richard Skinner admitted yesterday under oath that his top deputies gave members of Congress false information painting Border Patrol agents as rogue cops who were not in fear for their lives and who were ‘out to shoot Mexicans.”

Government lied to Congress to bolster its case

Basically, the government has admitted that its officials lied to Congress in an effort to bolster its case in the public against agents Ramos and Compean. These charges have caused many to question the validity of the agents’ claims that they are innocent and acted in response to an imminent threat from an illegal alien drug runner.

The truth is, Johnny Sutton and our govenrnment turned what is at most a procedural violation (punishable by at the most a few days unpaid leave) and made it into a witchhunt against our agents.

As Rep. Dana Rohrabacher said in a speech from the floor of the House on 2/7/07, “The initial decision to prosecue the two border patrol agents instead of the drug smugglers was indefensible, period. Sutton’s only defense… has been to lie and to demonize the two border patrol agents.”

hmmm
since when has not the Congress raided the pockets for taxmoney?

and another thing....
130,000 is not quite.."hundreds of thousands" is it. Typical lib bs.

Duh??
maverick

"In 1975, in the closing days of the Vietnam War, about 130,000 Vietnamese who were generally high-skilled and well-educated, and who feared reprisals for their close ties to Americans, were airlifted by the United States government to bases in the Philippines, Wake Island, and Guam. They were later transferred to refugee centers in California, Arkansas, Florida, and Pennsylvania for up to six months of education and cultural training to facilitate their assimilation into their new society."

I would say this is a little different than 12 million, low skilled, uneducated, uninvited, lawbreaking aliens, wouldn't you?

http://www.ailf.org/ipc/refugeestoamericans.asp

We heard that before. remember?
I'm sure you remember what took place on April 30, 1975. When we left South Vietnam. It collapsed because we removed our troops and the refugees had to go somewhere. They did. We placed the Vietnamese people in places like Camp Campleton in Southern California, Fort Chafee in Arkansas, Elgin Air Base in Florida, and Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. Hundreds of thousands were airlifted into Camp Pendleton alone to get processed with sponsors and then removed to make room for others. This happened in all of the other bases also. We heard the same thing from the opponents of the Vietnamese airlift.

Isn't this
what is called taxation w/o representation since we don't want this bill and our reps are not listening to us?

I especially like the part
where this country obligates itself to improve the standard of living in Mexico.

Talk about a Black Hole of resources and money.

What can be added that hasn't been said.
Scamnesty will cause the downfall of America.
Our 'leaders in DC' expect it and hope for it.
They are 'selling out America' for what?

IF THIS PASSES, the 'tea party' begins...
