Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

It is a relentless quest, under no man's control. Every tick of the clock marks a step forward on the roadway that mankind knows as time. In the grand scheme of eternity, this human experience is but a piece of thread, floating in the vastness of everything that there is or ever was.

Eternity is the dwelling place of God, who by His very nature is omnipresent, omnipotent, and when asked by Moses for His name, responded… "I am that I am." As explained in a Wikipedia article, the ancient Hebrew translation uses Ehyeh, which is in the imperfective aspect, and can be understood as God saying that he is "in the process of being", a reference saying that he exists in all times, constantly, eternally.

The celebration we have just completed, Christmas, marks the birth of Jesus Christ, foretold in the Old Testament prophesies as coming in "the fullness of time." This roughly means that the child would be born when the time is right, or at the exact time when it should be.

Today we find ourselves marching on, having stepped over another line of demarcation that separates one year from the next. What we will find on this segment of the thread of humanity, I have to wonder. Every thread has a beginning and an ending, and so it is wise to contemplate, are we somewhere in the middle, or are we inching our way ever nearer to the end?

Unfortunately, this is a question that is impossible for us to answer, because we do not have the perspective of God, knowing and existing in all of time, constantly and eternally. That concept is foreign to us, and it is difficult to wrap our feeble minds around it. In fact, it is difficult for us to put words to it, much less, grasp the reality.

Jesus Christ embodies another of those difficult to grasp time frames, in completing his mission on Earth. His sacrifice on the Cross signified the defeat of sin, the new covenant with God, by which we are reconciled and made worthy to be in God's presence. Jesus spoke of the forgiveness of sin in the Aorist Tense, which again is not well represented by our language.

Used in this way, the forgiveness of sin is, "an effective, successful, single, one-time action." It loosely means that sins past, present, and future are forgiven, due to the work of Jesus, and it is not something that Jesus must do repetitively, for his work is complete once the believer accepts the gift.

From the perspective of humanity, and from the vantage of our finite sliver of existence that has been carved from the vastness of eternity, what is the point of being here? That sounds like those age-old questions that have been asked throughout history, who am I, and why am I here. I do not know, to tell you the truth, except as it relates to God's will. God wanted us, and so we are here.

So, if life on Earth boils down to a finite experiment, conducted by the Creator of the Universe, then what does it really matter what goes on here. Does it really matter what I do with this life? Does it matter what goes on around me, and should I care what others do?

The quick answer is, absolutely it matters. It especially matters, when you consider that God created us as eternal beings; not limited by the thread of time set apart for mankind's mortal existence. The Biblical record deals not only with man's fall from the presence of God, and the reconciliation foretold and ultimately provided by Jesus Christ, but also with how we are to conduct our mortal affairs.

Atheists will chatter all they want about the silliness of what I have written. Agnostics have better things to do, than worry if it is truth or fiction. False religions will pick bits of truth and co-mingle them with concoctions that serve the authors of those fables at the time. These false doctrines include secular purists, who are bound by a religious devotion to hedonistic pursuits, while adorning themselves with the trappings of goodness and charity.

Elections matter too, as we must live under the rule of those entrusted to govern our nations. Yet even in our nearly perfect system of government, where we as the people of God are given unparalleled authority to establish and maintain our governance, we fail time, and time again to exercise the good sense God has endowed each of us with.

Under our self-rule, we have allowed the forces of evil to establish normalcy to absurd contradictions to nature. Abortion runs rampant, and is ingrained in medical science under the auspices that pregnancy is an affliction, which can and should be healed by physicians.

Homosexuality is the pursuit of sexual gratification by abnormal means, yet it has slowly wormed its way into the fabric of our social conscience, and has deceitfully taken a counterfeit place alongside natural human diversities. The laws of nature, perhaps described partially but imperfectly by Darwinian theories, fly in the face of homosexuality at the very least through natural selection.

Under our self-rule, we have allowed this aberration to challenge the very roots of God's natural order, of two human beings, a man and a woman bonding together for the purpose of procreation. The model of man and woman in marriage is described throughout the Bible, even in describing man's relationship with God. Yet this nation over which we hold unparalleled sway may actually condone the recognition of homosexual unions on the same level.

Candidates for the most powerful office in our country are diverse in what they hold to be true and important. They each hold out certain traits that underlie an issue of concern for their fellow man, but many if not most are incomplete. Some completely ignore the importance of our place in eternity. They ignore or worse, condone the hedonistic impulses of the society they hope to govern.

Considering that the end of humanity's thread marks another instance of the fullness of time, all things that are contrary to the purposes of the Creator of the Universe are but dust in the wind. Politicians who are not too unlike those before them are unlikely to return any semblance of stability that has been lost, and if elected will only stir up more dust in our faces.

This is a very important election indeed, and I would implore every thinking member of the family of man, who is subject to the government we create by our influences, to seek out the candidate that promises a return to stability. Examine the entire palate of convictions, what they say, and why. Consider how long they have held the convictions that now bolster their quest. There is a danger in today's political climate that the choices we are offered may not include the choices we should make. I see that happening even now as one candidate in particular is excluded by those we rely upon for information.

Time may be short indeed, and we may be closer to the end of our finite thread than we realize. There is no time like the present to correct the course we have selected. We can be compassionate and charitable to our neighbors, without trying to alter the nature of God to accommodate their conflicted circumstances. Perhaps this too is the fullness of time, and it is time to look beyond the dust in the wind.

A cry for integrity and experience
The "fullness of times" expression has a religious context whose meaning is not identical from faith to faith.

For me that phrase implies the times before the Savior returns.

Whether we quote Dickens on the best of times and the worst of times or an Old Testament phrase, the point is NOW is our time.

And the question follows: What do WE do with our TIME?

Since it is ELECTION TIME and NEW YEAR'S 'TIME' with the primaries coming rapid fire, bing, bing, bing, what if we decide to choose the very best candidate in the field to be the next president?

Look at the personal history of the candidates. Look at their moral history, even as teenagers.
Look at their families. Look at their work history. Look at their faith and its impact on their personal lives. Look at their educational preparation. Look at their achievements. Look at their executive records (if they exist). Look at the groups - individuals endorsing each candidate. Make a talley so your heart doesn't sway your analysis. Look at their ability to analysize and solve complex problems/crises. Look at their ability to rein in runaway finances. Who are these people in the composite?

For me the answer is clear when I tally the strengths and weaknesses of all the candidates.

GO MITT!

Harris' religion
While I agree with Harris on the issue of abortion, I disagree with him on the issue of homosexuality. Harris writes, "Homosexuality is the pursuit of sexual gratification by abnormal means, yet it has slowly wormed its way into the fabric of our social conscience, and has deceitfully taken a counterfeit place alongside natural human diversities. The laws of nature, perhaps described partially but imperfectly by Darwinian theories, fly in the face of homosexuality at the very least through natural selection." I will guess that he thinks that being homosexual is a choice. It isn't.

End of time?
In every generation there are people who think that it is "the end of time". God's creation is eternal, our lives are short.

Go Mitt, back to Massachusetts
Romney jurist picks not tilted to GOP
Independents, Democrats get call

By Raphael Lewis, Globe Staff | July 25, 2005

Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.

Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show. In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters, and 14 registered Democrats.

A thoroughly dishonest slick politician

The Fullness of Time
Dates back to the time of Noah and Abraham.
When the thoughts and actions of mankind has been corrupted to do evil, it brings an action from the Almighty.

Just like planting corn and the time to reap what is planted when the ears of corn are ripe for plucking, and harvest comes at the fullness of time.

Sin is a seed and it also brings forth fruit, and when it reaches the level as Sodom and Gomorrah that the Angels of God could not find 5 righteous men in those cities, due to a fullness of evil, then God moves as he always has, and will again.

Same thing brought Jesus Christ at the Fullness of Time, the Jews had reached a fullness of evil, and God sent forth His son to restore that which He had not taken away.

Jesus told the Jews, fill up the sins of your fathers, because they rejected Him, and they did.

Then when they rejected the Gospel of Peace God has sent into the world through Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul said this:

Acts 13:46 -
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Now its the Gentiles turning away from God, and are reaching the fullness of time, the fullness of evil, the fullness of iniquity.

It will bring a move of God,the same one Noahs generation seen, and not the one of Peace he is offering today.

Revelations 9
We seem to be in some of the events described in Rev 9. There are many tribulations that happen prior to the Second Coming which happens sometime after the opening of the 7th Seal. (See D & C 77:13).

No man knows the hour or the day not even the angels of heaven. However, we do know that the 2 prophets spoken of in Jerusalem have not started their ministry yet.

Christian who take the Bible seriously and somewhat literally do believe that Prophets will exist in the last days (see Rev 11 verses 3-18)

talent scout and BG
Amen

I've been reading comments most of the evening, all discussing the various Republican candidates however, I don't believe (unless I missed it) anyones stated the obvious for Christians. We NEED to get to praying, seriously praying that
God will give us the man we need to lead this country in these perilous times. We have the power regardless of the circumstances or the corruption to change the circumstances by merely
getting on our knees and seeking God's help.
He said to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver us..and we are in BIG trouble, and we need deliverance.
I'm old enough to remember a time when inspite of the soviet peril, we were united, we obeyed the laws, our children were educated NOT indoctrinated, our military respected, our borders secure, our public health protected, and
while some politicians were corrupt, many more
were patriots and statesmen and we didn't allow
babies to be murdered on the altars of Planned Barrenhood nor homosexuals force their agenda on our children. And yes, homosexuality is a choice, just as heterosexual sex out of marriage is a choice. My adopted son was seduced as a teenager into that life, for 20 years, he's
repented and working hard to free himself of this addiction. We aren't naive, we know it will be a long and difficult struggle.

I second the motion, Tea Party!
Let our knees all bend, no matter the label of our faith, and pray that God will inspire us as an electorate to elect a wise, capable person to lead our land.

Let's be doers of the word and not just hearers only.

And let's not bash each other with sacred words from the scriptures. If unity were easy or automatic, there wouldn't be all our religious infighting!

Peace to all and best wishes for the new year.

A tea party. No peace.
A Tea Party...just the very thing! We need a conservative NOW! Our court is hobbling, our nation must be strong, and we must decide who we are right now. This is no time fondle political expediency!

To wise woman
I second that one. I pray that this nation will be well served by whoever is elected.

Amen Phil!
"Under our self-rule, we have allowed the forces of evil to establish normalcy to absurd contradictions to nature."
********************************************

Conservatives, through their exasperating passivity, have permitted this to happen.

It is time to make waves!

Is This a Poem?
Obviously a tough day for TH. I see that some of the articles are repeats.

Be ye doers of the Word
and not hearers only.

They say that what we do on New Years Day is what we will do all year. Start the day in prayer tomorrow, and then take steps to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the afflicted, visit the prisoner (even those who are prisoners of despair, loneliness, infirmity and isolation from family), welcome the stranger and pray for the rude, snide, ignorant, stupid (militantly ignorant) and saucy you will meet all day. If you go to church tomorrow (a Day of Obligation for Catholics) take canned goods for the food pantry. Take two cans if that is all you can take, but take them. Think of other ways to carry out this charge. Be ye doers of the Word.

Homosexuality...

...is not biologically logical. Other than that, I have no problem with it. Sodomize on.

Logical - hedonist
Around five percent of the population is homosexual. The hedonism charge is ridiculous.... only if you include heterosexuals. I guess that they don't sex for pleasure and intimacy. If you would believe in Darwin theory, there has to be a reason for the five percent.

The 5% ...
...are probably just a constant random genetic phenomenon within the human species. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Heterochromia iridium, or multicolored eyes (one blue, one brown) are found in about 1% of the human population and are probably another example of random genetic expression. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I make no moral judgments regarding either biological occurrence. However, the issue of disease epidemiology is unavoidable in homosexuality. Wear a condom.

Bucko
Dear Bucko,

There is mounting research that confirms that homosexuality is related to differences in the chromosomes which makes it "biologically logical". There are also differences in the chromosomes of Downs Syndrome babies that cause the many facial similarities. And they are still doing research on the chromosomes of autistic and schizophrenic children. It's not that unusual, so it shouldn't be that horrible. You don't gasp at the sight of a Downs' Syndrome child or adult, or do you? Well, if their chromosomes are shown to have consistent differences with those of heterosexuals, I would say it's fair to call it a natural state of being. And even while there are cultural codes that describe a natural union as being one between a man and a woman so that procreation can take place, there are many, many marriages where naturally birth cannot take place and it takes technology to help nature out. Is this unnatural state of creation under attack because it overrides the chromosomal conditions of either or both parents? What about surrogate mothers, certainly the most unnatural state of birth offered by our system today? At least homosexuality is natural, often beginning to take form within the child at ages of puberty and earlier, where dress may be confused with sex, but consistent with sexual orientation.

We have a lot of unnatural sexual happenings, including Viagra, which may make people happy, but are certainly not natural, and as early as birth, with circumcizion. But homosexuality is a genetically natural experience for boys and girls, men and women, and should not need to be legislated by law, since it is borne of the laws of nature.

So, all of you annti-gay folk out there, it's time to just give it up...

Make waves
Mountain Rose,

Excellent, how do you suggest we make waves? What do you envision this to look like?

Audi, what a fantastic way to start the New Year!!! Do you find these needs in your neighbors, or do you find them in organized ministry work, or both?

Resolved
To all...

Let us be resolved in 2008 to, as Mountain Rose says, make waves, and in the spirit of Wise Woman, do so without slashing each other's throats with our oars.

We do need to reform Federal Government, and to do so requires that we identify an honest, unapologetic, moral leader to guide us. There are so many areas in our country today that are smoldering piles of rubbish.

Regarding issues such as homosexuality, such may continue to divide, but I think as the article suggests, it is possible to behave charitably and compassionately (in both directions). Those who believe their homosexual desires are natural can surely respect those who fear that their children may be influenced to make bad choices.

Those who feel that homosexuality is a bad choice can respect those who disagree at least acknowledging that we all are human beings. In terms of the religious implications, God has said that Judgment is His alone. If homosexuals are living a sinful existence, then that is something that is between God and those individuals, just as our own sins are also subject to God's Judgment.

Those of faith should absolutely spend time on our knees, in fervent prayer that God will guide us in making our political decisions, and that God will guide those in power to make governing decisions in accordance with God's will.

Those who lack faith, may also spend time on their knees, and open a conversation with God. If you ask that your faith be strengthened, so it shall be done. If you have never sent "knee-mail" to God, you may be surprised at how eager He is to begin that relationship.

Happy New Year doesn't have to be a cliché, if we are all resolved to make it so.

Now set a course for the future, number 2... engage!

Baptist thought
I am just gong to post this and ask what y'all think about what the Reverend Albert Mohler has to say:

NEW YORK (AP) - The president of the leading Southern Baptist seminary has incurred sharp attacks from both the left and right by suggesting that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven, and that prenatal treatment to reverse gay orientation would be biblically justified.

The Rev. R. Albert Mohler Jr., one of the country's pre-eminent evangelical leaders, acknowledged that he irked many fellow conservatives with an article earlier this month saying scientific research "points to some level of biological causation" for homosexuality.

Proof of a biological basis would challenge the belief of many conservative Christians that homosexuality — which they view as sinful — is a matter of choice that can be overcome through prayer and counseling.

However, Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., was assailed even more harshly by gay-rights supporters. They were upset by his assertion that homosexuality would remain a sin even if it were biologically based, and by his support for possible medical treatment that could switch an unborn gay baby's sexual orientation to heterosexual.

Mohler said he was aware of the invective being directed at him on gay-rights blogs, where some participants have likened him to Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor notorious for death-camp experimentation.

"I wonder if people actually read what I wrote," Mohler said in a telephone interview. "But I wrote the article intending to start a conversation, and I think I've been successful at that."

The article, published March 2 on Mohler's personal Web site, carried a long but intriguing title: "Is Your Baby Gay? What If You Could Know? What If You Could Do Something About It?"

Baptist though #2
Mohler began by summarizing some recent research into sexual orientation, and advising his Christian readership that they should brace for the possibility that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven.

Mohler wrote that such proof would not alter the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality, but said the discovery would be "of great pastoral significance, allowing for a greater understanding of why certain persons struggle with these particular sexual temptations."

He also referred to a recent article in the pop-culture magazine Radar, which explored the possibility that sexual orientation could be detected in unborn babies and raised the question of whether parents — even liberals who support gay rights — might be open to trying future prenatal techniques that would reverse homosexuality.

Mohler said he would strongly oppose any move to encourage abortion or genetic manipulation of fetuses on grounds of sexual orientation, but he would endorse prenatal hormonal treatment — if such a technology were developed — to reverse homosexuality. He said this would no different, in moral terms, to using technology that would restore vision to a blind fetus.

"I realize this sounds very offensive to homosexuals, but it's the only way a Christian can look at it," Mohler said. "We should have no more problem with that than treating any medical problem."

Baptist thought #3
Mohler's argument was endorsed by a prominent Roman Catholic thinker, the Rev. Joseph Fessio, provost of Ave Maria University in Naples, Fla., and editor of Ignatius Press, Pope Benedict XVI's U.S. publisher.

"Same-sex activity is considered disordered," Fessio said. "If there are ways of detecting diseases or disorders of children in the womb, and a way of treating them that respected the dignity of the child and mother, it would be a wonderful advancement of science."

Such logic dismayed Jennifer Chrisler of Family Pride, a group that supports gay and lesbian families.

"What bothers me is the hypocrisy," she said. "In one breath, they say the sanctity of an unborn life is unconditional, and in the next breath, it's OK to perform medical treatments on them because of their own moral convictions, not because there's anything wrong with the child."

Paul Myers, a biology professor at the University of Minnesota-Morris, wrote a detailed critique of Mohler's column, contending that there could be many genes contributing to sexual orientation and that medical attempts to alter it could be risky.

"If there are such genes, they will also contribute to other aspects of social and sexual interactions," Myers wrote. "Disentangling the nuances of preference from the whole damn problem of loving people might well be impossible."

Not all reaction to Mohler's article has been negative.

Dr. Jack Drescher, a New York City psychiatrist critical of those who consider homosexuality a disorder, commended Mohler's openness to the prospect that it is biologically based.

"This represents a major shift," Drescher said. "This is a man who actually has an open mind, who is struggling to reconcile his religious beliefs with facts that contradict it."

Fix for Gayness
Homosexual men and women have often used the following as a rebuttal...

"If I had a choice, do you honestly think I would choose to put myself through this?"

I think, that if homosexual tendancies turn out to have a "medical" explaination, and that as a condition it could be "treated" successfully, then why not treat it?

Being born as a dwarf is certainly no choice, and if you are a dwarf, you are certainly no less human than the rest of us... but if there were a medical condition at some point which could have prevented it from happening to you, it would seem logical to prevent it from happening to you.

Because one has become comfortable in their own skin, so to speak, should not cause them to wish their "own skin" on others.

In terms of sin... there may be people born with a tendancy toward leathal violence. Perhaps they find this difficult to deal with, but we would never condone letting them just "be themselves."

That is my thought on the subject.

.

YellowGuy
Therefore, YellowGuy equates being gay with the following, "In terms of sin... there may be people born with a tendancy toward leathal violence. Perhaps they find this difficult to deal with, but we would never condone letting them just "be themselves." ................ And, of course says this, "Homosexual men and women have often used the following as a rebuttal...

"If I had a choice, do you honestly think I would choose to put myself through this?"

I would not like to have spend my time trying to tell YellowGuy that the "this" is the what we have to put up with are his attitudes and people like him.

Would the world be better off it we didn't have homosexuals?

Swampfox
Honestly swamp... it's the "want" that you have the most trouble dealing with. Discussions that threaten the "get" for your "want" are almost more than you can bear.

It's like telling a four-year old, who swears he is a puppy, that no... you are not a puppy.

I know he's not a puppy... everyone around me knows he's not a puppy... but he will scream and stomp and wail, as if I am preventing him from being a puppy.

You will never honestly examine the nature of your homosexuality, until you can set aside the burning "want."

Just more of "this"
Thanks YellowGuy for giving another shining of what "this" is that we have to put up with all the time.

Burden
Now you are just rolling around in your self-made persecution complex. The "this" is self-perpetuating, and the "this" bonds you together with others, providing a community pitty party that never ends.

It is all a "choice" that you make conciously, sub-conciously, and devotedly. It is what consumes you when you wake up, and it consumes you throughout your day until you slumber again.

There are many heterosexuals who suffer a similar, though less public affliction with sex. It is an addiction, and it manifests itself physically due to the repetitive stimulation of endorphines in the brain. The burning never subsides, and they always crave more, like any narcotic addiction would do.

Remove the sticker from your forehead, that says I am gay no matter what you say. Practice the art of being just a human being once again, and perhaps your new perspective will surprise you.

.

Just more of the same of, This.
Thanks for the clarity on just where you stand.

Sure thing...
Perhaps my clarity, which you boil down to "this" will be helpful to others. If you wish to package it up neatly in "this" then more power to ya.

Happy New Year

YellowGuy
Dear YellowGuy,

It is interesting that you equate being homosexual with being a puppy. One is a state of being for a human and one is a fantasy, so there is no real comparison.

I had a niece who insisted when she grew up she wanted to be a dog. Well, we all placated her, since my mother-in-law wanted us to, thinking it was so very cute. She is now 16 and she is utterly irresponsible. She might as well be a dog.

I don't really think that most homosexuals are irresponsible, like a puppy. They do, like others, have to pay the rent, electricity, water, etc. They, too, have to survive, like it or not. They pay the rent and take care of each other, just like normal relationships.

I have a girlfriend who is in love with another woman who wants to be put on her property title and wants my girlfriend to be responsible for her financial obligations. My girlfriend is so in love she is on the edge of commiting herself to her lover's irrisponsibility. Isn't this called love?

If you have had other experiences with homosexuals about responsibility, please
let me know so that I can adjust my thinking. So far as I know, homosexual lovers are just as much in love as heterosexual lovers and just as inclined to financially irresponsible behaviors for the sake of their lovers as heterosexual lovers are. Well, what can I say...

Biology is not a doctrinal issue
Sorry to disappoint, but it isn't. As YellowGuy pointed out, addicts and alcoholics often feel like they have no choice in their addiction. It puts them at odds with society. They suffer health consequences, lose jobs, divorce, end up with their children hating them. If they remain actively using, they suffer consequences in porportion to their use. The Bible doesn't say they are horrible people. It says they are made fools by drink (and the same applies to addicts). It calls them to be sober. It says all men are sinners and this is your particular sin that you need to address and repent. If drink controls you instead of you controlling your drinking, don't drink. To do otherwise is disobeying God.

The same goes with sexual immorality no matter what the stripe. I am called to control my sexual appetites and confine them within God's framework. If I don't, there will likely be consequences. I daresay my husband will be upset if I cheat on him. I might forfeit my marriage. My kids might be very angry at the loss of the family dynamic. My church might sanction me. My friends might take sides.

I can avoid those consequences by avoiding the sin. Sometimes I can mitigate those consequences by repenting the sin. Do do less is to disobey God.

The Bible calls homosexuality just one of several sexual immoralities. It doesn't make you a horrible person. It just means you have committed sin that needs repentence. And pointing out that you've disobeyed God is probably the most loving thing I can do, even if you reject the warning. Sin carried heavy consequences. Better that you know that than not!

To Jeanne-marie
Thanks for your comments. YellowGuy thinks that I have a persecution complex. I would have to agree with him. However, I am dealing with the really of being homosexual, not an illusion. He is like a child running around covering his/her ears not wanting to hear something that conflicts with his/her reality.

Happy New Year to all...........even to YellowGuy and Phil "gays are evil" Harris.

to aurorawatcher
To keep my integrity I would have to say that I am homosexual whether or not I commit a homosexual act. Therefore, you define my sexuality as being a sin. Phil Harris, the columnist of this column, defines the acceptance of my sexuality as evil. And, people wonder why gay teens or young adults have a higher rate of suicide rate.............Oh, but that's a myth ......... according to Dobson, NARTH, etal.

Happy New Year.

And
Your mother sews socks that smell.

Swamp
You alone have defined yourself as "evil" as you will note that I have taken pains to not do so. That is because whatever your sin is, it is "your" sin, and it is entirely up to you to reconcile that with God.

I have my own sin, and I have to reconcile that with God as well, but you will not find me trying to force society to bend and accept my sin as an acceptable alternative, rather, you will find me trying to alter my thinking and behavior, to eliminate the sin from my life.

Happy New Year to you too. Whether you care or not, I do love you, and I will remember you in prayer, right along with my own friends, children, and family.
