Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Of course Bill Clinton was against the war in Iraq from the beginning. It's proven unpopular. It would be different if the war had gone better, as it has in Afghanistan. Bill Clinton's still for that one.

There's a phrase for someone who'll stick with you through thick and then and in-between: A man to tie to. Bill Clinton's the opposite. Not only does he disappear when the going gets tough, he was never with you from the first - at least to hear him tell it. With him, history is one of the plastic arts.

There is no surer guide to William Jefferson Clinton's view of the past than what is popular in the present. All of his statements supporting the war in Iraq now have become, in a Nixonian word, inoperative. Down the memory hole they go, as if they'd never been uttered.

You only think you heard Bill Clinton say things like this from time to time:

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." -Bill Clinton, February 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." -Bill Clinton, February 17, 1998

"I supported the president when he asked for authority to stand up against weapons of mass destruction in Iraq." -Bill Clinton, May 18, 2003

The war was going better in May 2003, so naturally Bill Clinton supported the commander-in-chief then. But even then, he was careful to leave a little wiggle room should the fortunes of war turn. The lawyers amongst us will note that he was only for giving the president the authority to wage war, not for the war itself.

This may be a distinction without a difference to us simpler types, but Bill Clinton is nothing if not sophisticated. Only on rare occasion does he slip, forget the verbal camouflage, and get caught. ("I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.") But that was the rare exception to a consistently tricky rule.

Bill Clinton tends to bet for and against any political proposition that involves taking a risk, then recall only the position that proved popular. That way, he can't lose. Principle has nothing to do with it; he's just betting across the board.

An escape hatch is almost standard equipment on any Clinton assertion. By now there's even a term for it - the Clinton clause. It's a kind of art form, really, and connoisseurs of the Clintonesque will be able to remember the exact moment they caught on to it.

My moment of truth came in September 1991, when Bill Clinton, still governor of Arkansas, was preparing to run for president. He'd invited us country editors to lunch at the Governor's Mansion - I was with a little paper down he road at the time, the Pine Bluff Commercial - in order to talk about his plans.

Back then, the country was still in an exultant mood over its victory in the brief Persian Gulf War earlier that year. And I heard Bill Clinton note, almost in passing, that he'd supported George H. W. Bush when that president asked Congress to authorize him to use force in that crisis.

I was stunned. That's not the way I remembered it. Or the way I'd been writing about it all those months. I thought Bill Clinton had said he agreed with those who'd opposed authorizing the president to use force.

Had I been wrong all this time? I headed back to Pine Bluff in a sweat, dreading the mammoth correction I was going to have to run.

But when I checked the files, sure enough, there was the AP story. Its headline: "Clinton Waffles on War Decision." It had appeared three days after the fateful vote in Congress, and here was what he'd actually said:

"I agree with the arguments of the people in the minority on the resolution - that we should give sanctions more time and maybe even explore a full-scale embargo Š before we go to war."

But now that the war had been fought and won, Slick Willie was all for it. He was not about to desert his country in its hour of victory. If a single personal experience made me resolve never again to trust anything Bill Clinton said, that was it.

Was his ex-post-facto support for that war just an innocent lapse of memory, or of character? Me, I've always had the greatest respect for Bill Clinton's memory.

Now he's back playing games with the past again. But never fear, should the long light of history reveal that in the end this long, long struggle in Iraq has bolstered freedom and stability in that always-volatile part of the world, rest assured, Bill Clinton will have been for it all along.

Bill & Hillary - The right rulers for US
The critics bemoan the Clinton style, but Bill & Hillary's methods are what makes them the right rulers for our nation.

The Clintons realized that there is nothing to be gained in telling the citizenry the details of everything that is happening in government, for such disclosure could result in unhappy subjects. The Clintons know that most Americans realize that it is better to be mislead than have to live with the reality that some things may have gone awry. Besides, let's not forget that our rulers run the nation, and it is the duty of the citizen to butt out.

The best thing to do is elect Hillary, and then let her and Bill have a totally free reign. I think that we Americans would be amazed at what the two of them could do if they are left alone and not scrutinized.

My relative, loyal democrat
:P

Merry Christmas, love ya!

Clintonesque, Clinton Speak
If anyone can talk the leader of Persia and the Mullahs out of producing an atom bomb, it will be Bill and Hillary. They have a way with words. They can fool anybody all the time. Keeps you off balance mentally.

EXCELLENT!
Great article and one can ALWAYS be safe in assuming that when Bubba's or Hitlery's lips are flapping that they're lying like a rug!

BTW, check my blog (click on my handle) for a good one on the Clinton's and well as a future cure for liberalism from the VRWC Institute!

PS: Tell your friends as well.

I Believe Bill
The reason I believe him is that he obviously believes him and who should know better? The political genius of Bill Clinton is that he truly believes whatever is coming out of his mouth and he has the ability to make others believe it too. It doesn't take much for the Democrats to swallow a load of baloney and the way Bill greases the baloney makes it so much easier.

The case with Hillary is a lttle different. Where Bill is psychotic in his ability to transform reality within his own mind Hillary is just a liar and she knows it and it shows. The Democrats want to swallow what she is selling but she can't grease it and they are starting to gag. If the current trend continues and Obama stays ahead look for Hillary to explode. As signs of this looking more likely appear you can expect Bill's Secret Service to start keeping him away from her. Don't want the ex-pres injured.

my 2 cents
A great liar is one who can look you in the eye and lie like a rug and still you will believe him because somehow he can MAKE you want to believe that JUST THIS ONCE he is telling the truth, even though you know that he has lied over and over and over. Bill Clinton is one of the all time greats.

His wife is good, but she is not in his class.

Loyal Democrat
Your advice to us citizens to butt out is uncalled for. Slick Willy is almost certainly heterosexual.

TruLib I agree
Bill is psychotic to the core, but alas, his wife is just a liar. It's what's going to do her in.

Bill is just following the
Lamocrat party line. History starts over every morning and the bigger the lie, the better served the Party. Normally you have the MSM backing them up on this as they would never question the lie, however, half of the media have signed onto the Obama bandwagon so that half is talking about it.

Tis a Pity....
.....that sack of human excrement has Secret Service Protection till the end of his days and it will only be up to the Devil's devices to exact that pound of flesh for his errant ways

be a better American: read this.
Of course the Clintons play hard and fast with the truth.

That is nothing new.

Bill Clinton has been presiding over a campaign to rewrite history in such a way as to cast a favorable light upon his presidency. Every time he speaks, one has to analyze carefully exactly what he meant, because he has a way of parsing his words in such a way as to hold him blameless: definition of "is"; "I did not have "sex" with that woman(implication being SHE performed a sexual act while he, being passive, did not technically commit a sexual act), "I support the president's decision to get a resolution(to use force)from the congress", technically meaning he authorized only the decision to get a resolution, etc.

He is extremely dishonest.

Now, some aspects of his presidency were positive. Overall, economic growth was good. And, the wars he did wage cost Americans very little, in terms of lives lost.

Now the bad: He ignored the looming specter of Islamic terrorism, even commenting we must not "overreact' to WTC 1993. His(and then Sec. of Defense Les Aspin's)"management" of the Mogadishu tragedy was almost criminal, and emboldened Al Qaida. The Kosovo war was a mistake, a blunder, in my opinion. It should not have been waged. We attacked Christian Serbs who had saved our downed pilots over Nazi territory in WW2, while embracing Muslim Albanians, whose KLA is nothing more than radical Muslim extremists.

I hope Greenberg is not saying folks who oppose Iraq simply do so because it is now "unpopular".

That is crap.

I opposed the war because I disagree with Bush's interventionist, leftist-inspired, arrogant worldview that presumes we have some messianic mission to go about the globe, sacrificing our finest Americans and looting our treasury and childrens' heritage, on half-baked social/political experiments to see if democracy is compatible with Islam.

CLINTON IS BOTH A BORN & CONVICTED LIAR
Willie Clinton has been lying through his yellowing teeth since he fell out of his bassinet and bent his prong.

He's a cheating, ultra LYING SOB, who has made fools of Liberals everywhere. From the laughing, smiling visage to the suddenly crying phony, at Ron Brown's funeral to his many statements on the war and a thousand other bogus incidents, moron Liberals have danced to his tunes like the Court Jesters they truly are.

Clinton is as false as a sock in a bra but Liberals are right there with him.

Clinton favors a "path to citizenship"
I just checked out Kevin McCullough's blog:
http://kevinmccullough.townhall.com/blog/g/baebf8ed-6437-4c 1c-bc52-0b979cfc4249
...where he posts a link to an ABC article about an over-the-telephone appearance Senator Clinton made following the scare at her campaign headquarters.

The elites just don't get it.

Senator Clinton and her ilk just doesn't understand the deep resentment in this country over the failure of our elected representitives to enforce immigration laws.

She and her husband, if allowed back into the White House, will be the death of this nation as we knew it.

Bill

is proof the education system has failed in this country being people are so gullible to believe such a pathetic piece of lying trash.

Why is Bill so SLICK?
I truly do not understand why none of the "dirt" of the Clinton "legacy" ever sticks to him. I was reminded of Clinton's role, or lack of a role in the Rawanda genocide in the 90's. While he & Madeline Albright worried about the most politically correct path to take, 800,000 poor Tsuti's died because Clinton wanted to be remembered by history in a favorable light & win popularity polls. Paul is right, if the war is won & becomes popular, Bill & Hill will have been FOR it all along. How dumb do they think we are? Wake up America, these people are not presidential quality. I always say, "You got to stand for something, or you will fall for anything!"

It's really too bad
that Bill Clinton was/is a pathological liar. I'm not being cute here; he really can't help himself, you know. Had it not been for that singular flaw, he would go down in history (not in the top 5), but as an above-average president. What has always amazed me is that the American people didn't figure this proclivity out during his first term, and re-elected him to lie through another four years.

Clinton and Bush
The reason the Dems hate Bush so much is that his character makes Clinton's look so bad. The contrast is overwhelming.

And Who Was It That Resurrected
It was George Bush who resurrected Bill Clinton and hooked him up with Bush 1, just like he left all of Bill Clinton's appointed federal attorneys in place, along with Norman Mineta, and other Billy appointees. Bush also would not prosecute the Clintons for theft of government property from the White House. I could go on but there's little use at this point in time.

Bill Clintons' Recollections
What is wrong with roughly half of this country? When is this pathological creature and his viscous wife going to be shunned by polite society? This guy was accused of RAPE on national television, in prime time, on the #1 show in the country. RAPE! Did he sue her her? No. Why not? Wouldn't you? Who wouldn't sue if it didn't happen? He lied to a federal grand jury. Somehow, in this case, and only in this case, lying to a federal grand jury is NOT perjury or obstruction of justice. You try it. My bet is that you won't fare quite as well. He settled a law suit, the one he lied-(PERJURY)-to the grand jury and misled the judge, with a woman who claimed that he EXPOSED HIMSELF to her. He had a 12 year extra-marital affair with a woman whom he told to just lie about it if asked. He gave a Presidential waiver to a big contributor so he could sell sensitive technologies to the red Chinese so that they can now better target our cities with their missles. Somebody please tell me, what does this piece of white trash garbage have to do? What's left?

Even the libs, the media and a case of
Glade will not be able to mask the odor of Clintons this time around. All the Bubba can do is remind us of what it was like when integrity mattered less than ones 401K.

Even the libs will find the Clintons unbelievable and unbearable this time around.

above-average president????
RITFLMAO; Bill the liar accomplished NOTHING as president. What the libs like to credit him with was the result of a Republican Congress who he fought at every turn.

The only thing he accomplished was to turn the White House into a Motel 8 and redefine the word "is". If shillary gets in she will be even worse.

What is Bush thinking?
NY pols assail proposed anti-terror cuts
What is Bush thinking?

BC-A Bush administration plan to slash anti-terror grant programs by more than half would threaten the safety of U.S. cities, several New York politicians charged Saturday.

more stories like thisU.S. Sen. Charles Schumer blasted the Bush administration’s plan to eliminate some port and rail security programs and cut Homeland Security grants for states and cities from $3.4 billion in the fiscal year 2007 to $1.4 billion in 2009.

“To say, no port security, no transit security, when we know that our ports and transit lines are targets for terrorists makes no sense if you want to protect America,” said Schumer, D-N.Y.

Bush too?
Hey Paul, are you willing to put the same critical analysis to George Bush and Dick Cheney?

Just curious if you really mean what you say or if you are just your typical partisan hack that only applies standards of honesty to the opposing politicians.

Driveway posting,
Please do not use the word 'standards' when referring to a Clinton.

The Libs Strike Again
Drivebyposting, King Liberal, John Konop, Militaray Loser Dog. Your answers to an article about Clinton are totally predictable:
"BushCheneyHalliburtonRove."
You never seem to try to say that Paul Greenburg is wrong and that Clinton is honest. That's because Paul Greenburg is right-- Clinton is the most dishonest politician this country has ever produced. Aaron Burr was more honest, Boss Tweed was more honest, Huey Long was more honest, Richard Nixon was more honest, in fact the only other figure in American history who is as dishonest as him is his wife. I know what you're response will be:
BUSHBUSHBUSHBUSH!!!!

Slick Mikey

Well, I'd say Bill Clinton is getting some competition for the "Rocco Vaselino" award from the new slickster on the block- Mikey Huckster.

I bet Clinton is upset that he's losing the public relations battle as the heavyweight champ of slick Arkansas snake-oil pitchmen.

Massively Loopy Dip writes:
leave it to Democrats to watch impotently as Clinton was hauled before a lying thieving Republican Congress headed up by the likes of Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott

Jackass: It was and is called perjury, and it is a FELONY, or is lying under oath permissable to Dumbbuttcraps but not to Republicans?

Military Lovin Dog
That's all well and good but the column we're talking about isnt about Bush. The answer to "OJ did you kill your wife?" is not Mark Furman is a racist.
As far as your complaint that those Wascally Wepublicans unfairly impeached your hero for lying under oath we can only remark that he pled guilty to lying to a federal judge and was disbarred and fined. The judge was a Democrat and a former law student who he appointed. He was also disbarred for life from arguing before the Supreme Court.

Not "Slick Willie", Sick Willie
I'm convinced that Clinton is a sociopath. It's the only explanation for his behavior.

He's totally incognizant of anything except what he wants right here, right now.

It explains why he repeatedly tells bald-faced lies with a straight face. Why he believes he can do anything without consequence or accountability. Why he can repeatedly fondle, harass, and possibly even rape women he works with and then sign an Executive Order that condemns sexual harassment.

It explains how he could (possibly) have forcibly raped Juanita Broaderrick, bruising her face in the process, and then, in a minor fit of 'compassion', advise her to "...put some ice on that."

This man is sick. He has always been sick. It is a testament to the wisdom of the Founding Fathers and their system of checks and balances that there is anything left of the US after eight years of his Presidency. And the only thing more insane than the fact that a plurality of the people of this country were foolish enough to put him and his power-mad wife in the White House for two terms is the idea that some of those same fools are proposing to put them back there for another two terms.

One thing more
Bill Clinton also said, during Watergate, that "Any President who lies to the American people should be impeached."

Some 25 years later it was

"I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky."

How gallant! I'm sure Monica was beaming with pride as her knight in oily armor told that one.

Dr. Ron Paul is our only hope for 2008
If you wnat somebody as president that is the anti-thesis of Sick Willie, check out Dr. Ron Paul. He never voted to raise taxes, was for the Afghan war but against the Iraq war, and has an impeccable record both in congress and at home where he has been married to the SAME woman for 50 years. He makes the oxymoran "honest politician" an honest statement as it applies to him. All I ask is that you do not rely on what the main stream media and pundits are saying about him becdause they are scared of a political revolution that brings more power to the people. Google him and you will like what you see, and you too can join a grtowing grassroots movement to unseat the "status quo" and bring propserity back to America! God Bless America and Ron Paul!!

military loser doggy
You are one sick dude.
If your brain was put in a gnat, the gnat would be retarded.

Back to the article
This reads like a Dave Barry humor column or a Saturday Night Live spoof! I can't help but smile when I read it, but the bottom line: it would be funny if it weren't so sad.

I guess the 1990's under Clinton were similar to the 1950's under Eisenhower; a time of relative peace and prosperity when we didn't really care if the guy in the White House was a buffoon. It was kind of fun to watch "slick Willie" lie and wink and frustrate his political opponents. He had that wry, mischievous grin on his face; we knew he was getting away with something and we knew he knew it. It was endearing in its own special way.

The nineties are over. We're in a war for the survival of civilization. President Bush is, and MUST be, a man of integrity. That's why it's now laughable and sad to hear Slick Willie speaking out on the issues that currently confront us.

Military Lovin' Dogg writes:
from wiki: "Clinton presided over the longest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history..."

uh...dogg, you do realize that those internet dictionaries are subject to editing by ANYONE don't you?
Further...Preside: To act as chairperson or president. Act being the key word here.

And as an aside...you and your lefties' continual diatribe on contractors supporting the troops can be traced directly back to the Peace Dividend demanded by socialists to save money by cutting the support agencies of the Military at an even grater rate than the combat forces.
You see all those engineers, bakers, tranportation, and administrative support people are needed in about a 10 to 1 number over the actual combat soldier in order to properly support them while training, forward deployed, or in a combat environment.
They and their gear are EXPENSIVE to have and maintain. And when you toss them out or greatly reduce their number while sending them to the reserves you force the military to 1) USE CONTRACTORS; 2) CALL UP THE RESERVES for what we used to use actual active duty uniformed members to do.

Short Term Memory
Slick relys on the American trait of a brief memory but you have to admit he as lest makes you feel good as he steals your wallet.

Democrats don't want to see Wild Bill for what he is because he and Jimmy (what a guy) Carter are the only Democrats elected since LBJ in 1964 (that would be 12 out of the last 44 years). Somewhere along the way you'd think the DNC would realize that sh$% doesn't float (well only 3 out of the last 11 times at bat).

Moron Licking Dingleberries
I notice you don't DENY any of it!

Military Lovin' Dogg writes:
You know the response because you know that Bush is not only the most dishonest of American presidents - he's also the most incompetent and most treasonous.

I would have to recommend that you take some time to look up standard definitions and get away from wiki.
Most incompetent (while in office) and most treasonous (after office) is the relm of one Jimmy (malaise & Misery Index) Carter

USMC (Ret)
You are wasting your time. When has THE TRUTH or THE FACTS ever mattered to Liberals!

I love Newt's
comments over the weekend on a TV show about Clinton's lies. He said Bill Clinton is constitutionally unable to tell the truth. He wakes up each day and says whatever he has to say in front of any audience in order to meet his vast need for approval and recognition.

"My Clinton Moment"

Came embarrassingly late in his second term.

I'd never voted for Slick Willie, although I confess my vote for Ross Perot in 1992 was essentially the same thing. But I also admit that Phileo's caricature of the American populace describes my views during most of the Clinton years:

"It was kind of fun to watch "[S]lick Willie" lie and wink and frustrate his political opponents. He had that wry, mischievous grin on his face; we knew he was getting away with something and we knew he knew it. It was endearing in its own special way."

My moment, however, came shortly after the bombing of the Cole. President Clinton spoke at the Navy Pier in Norfolk, Virginia and gave a speech that was absolutely perfect. He expressed all that I was thinking. He noted that this was an act of war and a great nation like America cannot stand idly by and let that go unanswered. He made me believe that we were going to exact some justice for the 17 American lives lost in that cowardly act.

And then ... he did NOTHING. It was all just words to Slick Willie. No one could express them better, but they were just words.

Military Lovin' Dogg, et al.: I promise you that I will not cast my vote for GWB in 2008. But I sure as heck won't be voting for any Democrat, at least until they can find a candidate that knows how to show allegiance to this nation.

"king" liberal
Klinton didn't beat his impeachment, he was aided and abetted by other low life scumbags of his ilk.
But, he was impeached--just the same.

Your kind had damn well better learn a few things about hillary's communist party & her intentions because you will also become a victim.
Republicans are learned peoples & on the other side we have idiots & more idiots -- like you.

What Clintons and God Have in Common,
Are Democrats really such Orwellian proles? Do James Carville, Harold Ickes, Sidney Blenthal really run a "Ministry Of Truth"? ThePRADA/TASS Complicit Newsmedia and Intellectuals seem to actualy believe their dielectic propaganda with such fervor one wonders if you need to have multiple personalty problems or suspension of dibelief or some pathalogical way to exist with all the dicrepencies, dichotomies, paradoxes, and hypocicies needed to keep faith and allegiance to the Democratic elite.
What do the Clintons and God have in common? They are never wrong. With the same intensity that a believer may declare, "whatever God does is right" a liberal Democrat will just as vehemently declare, What ever a Clinton does is right". Just ask James Carville, Sidney Blumenthal, Harold Ickes, most professors or the liberal media elite. The disciples of each religion claim that the object(s) of their devotion can do no wrong. In both cases, right and truth are solely determined by the words and actions of the deity. Both faiths have the presence of the evil ones, whose words, actions and beliefs are always wrong. There is Satan, alias Lucifer, and his demons as the antagonist in one faith and George Bush and the conservatives as the nemesis in the other.
There is one difference. One God has the reputation of never lying, as for the incarnations of Zeus and Hera in the progressive Pantheon….Well?.........

Clinton
I was in Arkansas during the Clinton years. He was governor, and was not re elected. Sooo in his last days in office, he freed a bunch of really slimy characters from prisons. I mean real slime balls. Any way, he decided he wanted to be president, so he ran for governor of Arksnsas again. The people of Arkansas were angry with him for freeing these criminals, Sooo he said he wa so so sorry, that he made and awful mistake, yadda yadda. He said he wouldn't run for president of the United States, yadda yadda. They voted him back into office. (not me) The rest is history.
He's always been a sleeze, and always will be.

King Lib
I was talking about Clinton because the article we're commenting on is about Clinton. He wasnt convicted in the Senate political trial but he was held in contempt for lying to a Federal judge under oath and disbarred and fined $50,000. You have yet to explain what you think of your boy lying about his statements on the Iraq War. I dont go to Huffpo or MoveOn and post ad hominem insults when I cant make my argument. I can see why you're such an avid Clinton supporter. It seems, though, that the wheels are coming of the Hillary Campaign Bus. I'll anxiously await your passionate defense of Obama's liberal positions.

Proud American
I was lucky enough to not qualify for a Purple Heart during my time in uniform but I do believe to keep the Clintons out of the White House I would join you in giving up a limb. Just because they don't wear black pajamas don't mean they ain't Commies.

Trulib
Remember trulib i was just trying to point out how sorry it sounds when slick willie makes himself out to be honest and the keeper of the so called peace time expansion of our Country,it was a shell game at best, with the reduction of the Military he gained in service oriented jobs,he made the Military as weak as it was when Jimmy had the Post, but i guess that something to be proud of if you have a socialist agenda.

Now nanna, you have to apologize to all

the other "sleeze bags" in the country!

Sleeze bags might have feelings too, ya know! LOL

Proud American
I don't know whether it is following the socialist line or whether they see America as not deserving protection. Either way the end result of Leftnuts in office is a weaker military. It seems like the Democrats can't stand to have America in a position to defend herself. They would rather pay college tuition for illegals.

King liberal,
I'm willing to bet nobody has ever described you as a classy individual. What a jerk!

Looking up to Bill
Hilery said, if she gets back in the White House,
She's gonna raise all the urinals to keep
Bill on his toes.
She said Bill could invite 'that woman' to their
home, but not to the oral office.

Bill Clinton's "core principle"...
People say Bill Clinton has no core principles. That's not fair. He does have at least one core principle, and that's making himself look good. He supports anything that makes him popular, and he opposes anything that makes him unpopular. When he was president, he'd have sold own wife and daughter into slavery if he thought it would increase his poll numbers.

Karter & Klinton
These two did the most to run our military into the ground. If it had not been for Regan and Bush I between the two of them, our military would have had nothing with which to win Gulf War I and would have been without more than body armor at the start of the second go round. But then if there hadn't been the body armor issue, the DIMS would only be able to cry that "Bush Lied".
After the LIAR they put in office, Bush can't compare, but then looking at the what he is supposed to have lied about, it falls back to the lies being told for eight years prior to Bush taking office. If you listen to what the DIMS were saying about Saddam during that time he was the biggest threat to the US and stability in the mid-east. They didn't even have the balls to respond when the WTC was attacked the first time and the USS Cole later.

As we know though, DIMS do have a problem when it comes to acting in the best interests of the U.S. They would rather blather with the UN and wait for a concensus while US citizens and troops die without being able to fight back after being attacked. And never let facts get in the way if they don't fit the DIM view.

DIMS always bring up Haliburton because of Cheney's former affiliation but never bring up the fact that Haliburton received numerous "no-bid" contracts from the Karter and Klinton administrations. They wouldn't have anything to rail against if all the facts are laid out so everyone could see what a bunch of hypocrits they are.
