Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

In March of this year I met with an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation who shared my concern that Professor Julio Pino of Kent State University may have ties to Middle Eastern terrorist groups like Al-Quada. I also talked via email and telephone to Jimmy Stewart, a legislator from the State of Ohio. Stewart’s office expressed interest in an investigation of Pino after he admitted his ties to a terrorist website that promoted genocide and the killing of innocent children.

Based upon my faulty assumption that the state and federal government can be trusted to do anything right (I admit I haven’t been listening to Neal Boortz enough lately) I simply turned over the evidence and moved on to cover other stories. Now - even after I have turned over evidence linking Julio Pino and his pro-violence, indeed pro-genocide, activities to his office at Kent State – it appears that the anti-Semitic rodent is raising his head and speaking out again in public. I found the following letter to the editor Pino wrote for an Akron paper just recently:

The forced expulsion of Palestinians to make way for the Zionist colonizers during the 20th century was a crime so brutal it can only be labeled genocide. Apart from being a violation of the human rights of the Palestinians, it also constituted a breach of international law and humanitarian ethics.

Lest you think that Julio Pino is a humanitarian, let me remind you that his blog “Global War” - which I helped shut down - was promoting genocide. Pino has long associated himself with those who seek to eliminate both Israel and America from the face of the planet. Nonetheless, Pino continues:

Our students in Ohio pay tuition to gain a liberal arts education. Too bad most Palestinians of their age are not given the same chance to study for college, or in many cases, even to live that long.

One of the reasons Palestinians do not live long is because they strap bombs to themselves in order to kill innocent Jews. This is something Pino has supported both on his “Global War” blog and in the Kent State University paper. Nonetheless, Pino continues:

The Israeli occupation constitutes infanticide: 749 children under age 18 have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of the Intifada (uprising) in 2000, nearly a third of all Palestinian casualties, while 42.3 percent of those wounded during the same time were children.

Note that Pino does not tell us: a) how many of those who strap bombs to themselves are children or, b) what percentage of the Jews killed by suicide bombers are children. Nonetheless, Pino continues:

Some 310 children are still imprisoned in Israeli prisons; 450 children were under 18 when they were arrested. The mental-health survey of Palestinian children for the year 2004 showed that up to 11 percent of children between 5 and 17 suffered from extreme psychological defects such as nervousness and continuous screaming, loneliness, fear of darkness, foul moods, depression and nightmares.

I wonder whether there is any research that can tell us whether Jews who lose loved ones to suicide bombers suffer from “loneliness,” “foul moods,” “depression” or “nightmares.” Also, has anyone ever considered giving a mental health survey to Professor Julio Pino? Nonetheless, Pino continues:

Educators from around the world can contribute to putting an end to this nightmare by demanding of their Israeli colleagues that a fair treatment of the history of this tragic conflict is taught in their classrooms, and equal funding, facilities and stipends be provided for Palestinian pupils.

Julio Pino does not want Palestinians and Jews to be equal. He wants all Jews to be dead. And since he has spent considerable time advancing pro-genocidal speech that is a) intended to invoke violence against Jews (and Americans) and b) is reasonably likely to succeed, he should be removed from his position at Kent State University by members of the National Guard, if necessary.

And, after we get him out of Kent, Ohio, we need to get Julio Pino the hell out of this country.

In fairness to Julio Pino, Mike S. Adams can be reached at (adams_mike@hotmail.com).

Pino
The liberal left has infected our universities and transformed them into bastions of anti-Christian, anti-American and anti-Israel hatred. It is ashame our tax dollars help pay this guy's salary. The liberals in this country are too stupid to realize what they end up supporting with their vote.

At least your professors aren't
boycotting Israel en masse - here in Britain, the measured response of the college professors' union to Islamic terroism has been to annouce a boycott of Israeli universities and academics. Given Israeli universities are second only to those of the US in international rankings its probably as much envy as anti semitism, but enough to stop me sending donations to my alumini association nontheless.

Meanwhile the capture of the Palestinian Islamic terrorist supporting BBC reporter Alan Johnston by Islamic terrorists has enraged the National Union of Journalists to boycott, erm, Israel.

Things may be bad at UCNC Chapel Hill but you need to come to Britain to see the forces of overt National Socialism at work on campus.

God bless you.

pino
I thought the FBI would do something too. Especially after he posted a suicide note. I'll pay for his one way ticket to Palestine. He can start an extension of Kent State on the Gaza Strip.

pino
they deserve each other

Dr Adams...
Sir, I would like to thank you for continue to follow up on this traitor the US of A and to the western culture that has allowed him to earn a well-above-average living in the most free of countries. Of course, like so many on the left, they do not understand that it is the very institutions that allow them to be such jerks are teh very thing that separates them from the countries and societies that they so idolize (and would kill them in a heartbeat!)

Just the cesspool of higher education...
... and they wonder why the white males are rioting. I don't anymore...

When will the grownups deal with folks like Pino?

Sean Hannity has the right idea
He encourages college students to record the anti-American (and in this case anti-Semetic) rantings of their Leftie Professors, and use the recordings as evidence against them.

Of course, Liberal administrations deny such bad behavior, but we can prove the traitorous behavior of these jerks!

Pirate- When will the normal
people take back the college administrations?

Hey all you conservatives out there: stop lying down and letting the Leftie Losers kick you!

I was fortunate
When I hear of all the nonsense that goes on at universities today, I am even more thankful that I was fortunate enough to attend a university that still embodies all the great values of America.

I am proud to be a graduate of West Point. I didn't have to listen to all the claptrap noise that normal students did. We were given an amazingly well-balanced education by highly professional and well-trained military officers (and a few civilians.) I wouldn't trade that education for any degree from any other college.

Mountain Rose
"Sean Hannity has the right idea. He encourages college students to record the anti-American (and in this case anti-Semetic) rantings of their Leftie Professors, and use the recordings as evidence against them."

That'll only get him tenure.

Liberal Arts Degree
I've never been quite clear on what that is and what its good for.

Ah, yes, Kent State
Since the 1960s, an integral part of Ohio's very own "Axis of Idiots", along with OU-Athens, OSU, and Antioch College. Antioch is closing next year, due to lack of interest, but OU-Athens is panting for the opportunity to once and for all lay claim to the title of "Most Radical College In Ohio".

Not that Ohio State intends to let them have it without a fight, that is. And I am sure that Kent will want to be in that one, too. "No One Is More Progressive Than We Are!" being their slogan.

For those of us who went to rational institutions of higher learning, the "slightly mad battles of the compounds" (as Tom Wolfe referred to similar clerisies in architecture) would be endlessly amusing if it weren't for the fact that these dingbats have a great deal more political influence than they deserve or can justify. (Note that I did not call them "gibbering" dingbats- I reserve that term for the likes of Dennis Kucinich.)

PS to Steve L.;

Congratulations on your accomplishment.

Thank you for your commitment.

cheers

Stunned
I knew our universities today were filled with liberal professors, but this jerk certainly takes the prize. Why is he still employed there?

When I was in college, we tended to learn about the subjects we were taking like math, history and English, and there were no side monologues of any anti-American or Israeli rants.

I believe the Fairness Doctrine is a leftist bag of BS to silence the right, but can there be anything done to tone down the liberal professors in the schools from puking this crap to the students? Can't they be forced to simply teach the subjects they were hired for?

Shells
It's just like 1939 again; our leaders want us to just ignore the kooks because "they'll never really do what they say they want to". So, do we pull the curtains and ignore them or take matters into our own hands? How do we demonstrate to our officials that we are deadly serious about this and other issues? Emails, calls and letters do not seem to work.

and yet...
And yet, conservative parents still send their kids to left-leaning public universities. Why is that? Is it only because they are cheaper? Or is it so that they can say "My kid graduated from University of ______."? Surely there are enough small, private, conservative schools that are reasonably affordable.

Steve L., I extend my congratulations as well. My brother is a graduate of West Point. I went to school up the river in Poughkeepsie and would frequently drive down to visit him. What a gorgeous campus! It was a tough 4 years for him, but an unequaled experience. Thank you for your service to our country.

Cesspools and Their Contents
A depressingly large number of incompetent radicals hide out in the school systems (K-12 through university) under a protective umbrella of laws and policies. Pino and his ilk can slither off behind the ever-popular tenure or "academic freedom" shields.

Not only is it difficult to get rid of trash in academia, but the trash has risen to administrative and board positions and is busy supporting its own while attempting to eliminate dissenting voices, like Mike. See also the ongoing fiasco at Duke for just one more classic example of university decline into darkness.

Criminology
DR Adams,

My son wants to study criminology. If it's alright with you, I'll send him your way.

CVN65
Exactly to what you posted. What can outraged people do regarding this type of behavior?

If this professor worked at my company or a convenient store, he would be watched like a hawk and fired to boot.

We sit here and we grumble how terrible this is, Mike Adams actually was pro-active and tried to do something about it, yet the authorities let it go.

I just don't understand the world we live in. It truly is a bad dream where everything is backwards, you have no control, and you seem to be running in place.

I will always say this: I shudder to think what this world will be 10 years from now.

“jimbo”:
.
“Liberal Arts Degree ... I've never been quite clear on what that is and what its good for.”

Well, you see, that's the rub. Learning a subject that has utility is not considered being educated. The burning question when I was in college in the early '60s was, "Should we educate students, or train them to do a job?" This phenomenon was also observed when the original British code-breakers in WW-II were recruited from "proper young men who studied Greek and Latin." The unit did not make any significant headway in code-breaking until it recruited mathematicians and physicists who were looked down upon as "tradesmen" by the rest of the "educated" aristocratic officer corps. (“Battle of Wits” by Stephen Budiansky)
We here in the U.S. inherited this British attitude. To be considered “educated”, you have to know a lot of “art” that is of no use whatsoever. If a particular knowledge (e.g., math and the sciences) has utility, it is considered a "trade" and is looked down upon by the academic snobs.

This problem is not new. “We waste our efforts on the inane. We are educated not for life but for the classroom,” Seneca wrote of ancient Roman education.

And Stephen H. Balch of the National Association of Scholars notes “the inability of these domains (social studies, the “arts”) to produce USEFUL social product in anything like the amounts generated by the study of nature. . . . Absent the prestige, support, and self-confidence that such social product confers, the humanities and social sciences have sought them instead THROUGH AFFILIATION WITH WHAT THEY BELIEVE TO BE DESERVING MOVEMENTS AND CAUSES, each in need of intellectual justification and defense. And, of course, the loss of scientific temper also reflects the dual fact/value quality of the questions with which humane scholarship deals. Passion is woven into its very fabric.” (Emphasis added) -- “More Crises Than One”

oh my
Let’s assume that everything Dr. Adams wrote is 100% correct. In doing so, you find that Dr. Adams hasn’t actually substantiated a single charge made in this article. He laments the inaction of law enforcement officials and makes the ludicrous suggestion that units of the Ohio National Guard remove Pino. This is why I have difficulty taking Mike Adams seriously sometimes. He is a criminology professor and should know what constitutes real evidence and how law enforcement operates. Pino is the kind of screwball who will undoubtedly hang himself if given enough rope. All we’ve seen in this article is an attempt by one professor to silence another with whom he disagrees.

MikeR
You are simply a liar. You read every one of Adams' articles and you know there is a whole series with substantiating evidence dating back to March. You do not take him seriously? You read everything he writes and spend your entire day criticizing him on the blogs. Clearly, Adams has planted himself deeply under your skin.

Furthermore, you sympathize with genocidal racists. You anti-Semite.

mikescott
Bravo...I had the same thought as I read MikeR's comments. Guess he was hoping we would all have short memories.

As I've said before, liberals awake each day as if it were the beginning of time...no memory of yesterday and no thought of tomorrow. MikeR is just demonstrating his liberal philosophy.

mikescott
It is accepted wisdom at TH that only liberals call someone a “this” or “that” when they are angered by disagreement. Seriously, please read what I actually wrote and comment accordingly. You can start by showing how Dr. Adams substantiated the claims made in this article. Then you can demonstrate where I’ve lied, shown sympathy for genocidal racists or was anti-Semitic.

Folks: Please take time to read carefully and not waste our time with spurious claims. I’m sure many people are anxious to respond and I welcome your points of view. AllI ask is that you take time to consider what I actually wrote.

Icedog
Yesterday was Tuesday the 19th and I had roast pork for dinner. Tomorrow is Thursday the 21st and I think the rain will stop so I can grill some chicken. You know, you often show so little thought in your reactionary comments that you might be the one who is actually a liberal.

Mike R ... misunderstood
Here we go again. I took a deep breath and re-read Mike R's post. As usual, he is right. Brilliant but misunderstood. When will I learn?

MikeR
Try reading his other articles on Pino.

Great article Dr. Adams, MikeR
Go away and keep your head firmly in the sand, or perhaps go pound sand! Ignoramuses need not reply!

Steve L. I second or third the kudos on your accomplishment and service!

MikeR
Mikescott's comments were addressing the fact that we know you've read several (if not all) of Adams' articles on Pino (you've frequently commented on them), and you know he's provided ample evidence to support the comments in this column.

It is disingenuous (a nicer word for lying) for you to state, “Dr. Adams hasn’t actually substantiated a single charge made in this article.”

Also, you know damn well that I wasn’t saying liberals can’t remember what they had for dinner...here’s a hint, think socialism, communism, global warming/cooling/warming/cooling...now warming, tax hikes, socialized medicine, etc.

NA: Suing Dr. Adams
Why do you suppose Dr. Mike S. Adams has never been sued? He's written over 400 columns for TH. Zero lawsuits. Do you know what this means?

Mike R. Can you understand what this means? 400 columns. Zero lawsuits. Maybe someone is telling the truth. And HE signs his name to his work. Anonymous coward.

I read recently
that Pino was denied tenure because of his association with violence and genocide.
MikeR, I guess that there must have been substantiation for Mike Adams comments.

Pino
Jimmy Carter in all his stupidity apparently is a devotee of Pino. He also needs to be taken out of the United States.
We have never had a more shameless ex-president, although BilyJeff is a close second.

How would Police Officers take college courses that are now required in most departments for promotions if we didn't have people like Mike Adams training them? The lunatic left hates Police Departments as much as they hate the American Flag, George. W. Bush and our Military.

I don't need the psycho babble some posters wish to display. I need countrymen who are proud of their country and the opportunities they are afforded here. Where could you be more secure? Although the PC crowd is bent on reducing safety for diversity.

I think Dr. Adams is...
... trying to make a point.

To those who salivate over the red-meat issue of piking a professor's head outside the gates of Kent State while simultaneously professing their own commitment to the Constitution... you, people, are disingenuous.

I am a former cold-warrior. My son is a current soldier. We both believe strongly in ultimate sacrifice to protect this country's Constitutional freedoms.

Should Pino cease and desist his treasonous remarks? Yes. Should we use our speech (including political, capital, and overt) to oust him so that he cannot infect our youth? Yes.

Should we encourage the government to deport or imprison him because his ideas are odoriferous?

I don't think so, and neither do you.

So what shall we do with the drunken sailor, early in the morning?

I'm sure that Dr. Adams is not a stupid, stupid man, and I smell a roundhouse coming this direction from this series of articles.

The question I guess, is, what is the inteded result of these articles?

mikescott
Back up just a bit. In a single short post, you called MikeR "a liar", accuse him of "sympathising with genocidal racists," and finally, an "anti-Semite."

Based on what he ACTUALLY wrote, NONE of these charges are called for. In fact, they are lies.

And he NEVER said that he does not take Dr. Adams "seriously." (Period) He said that he "has difficulty" taking him seriously "SOMEtimes" which is a totally DIFFERENT thing.

I would suggest you withdraw your comments, because they are as offensive as any I have read on this thread. It is obvious that MikeR reads Dr. Adams as much as you do - which MikeR NEVER denied - but he responds differently. Big deal. Get over it.

Icedog
As for MikeR being a "liberal"... most doubtful. If by that you mean someone who criticises Dr Adams on a frequent basis??? Because that is the only grounds on which you can draw this conclusion.

What do you want? That we all sit around here, AGREEING with EVERYthing that we each say, and agreeing with EVERYthing that Dr. Adams says???? Boring! I thought the whole point in commenting was to speak our minds freely.

The last person who wants everyone agreeing with him is... Dr. Adams. If he didnt write provocatively, AND if no body disagreed with him, the numbers of posters under his column would read in single digits - not treble. And writing provocatively MEANS people may not like what you write, or how you write it.

Icedog
Icedog: "It is disingenuous (a nicer word for lying) for you to state, ....”"

Well, it was kind of you to use the "nicer word" and then use the not-nice-at-all-word so you could DOUBLY accuse MikeR of lying, having already agreed with a previous poster who did the same thing.

Icedog: "Also, you know damn well that I wasn’t saying liberals can’t remember what they had for dinner...here’s a hint, think socialism, communism, global warming/cooling/warming/cooling...now warming, tax hikes, socialized medicine, etc."

And of course YOU know "damn well" that MikeR was being sarcastic in his response. I'm pretty sure he knows you have no interest in whether he had pork OR chicken yesterday....

James McGrath
is full of wrath
he smells so bad
he needs a bath

mikescott
I understand what that means and that speaks highly of Dr. Adams. Now let’s apply the same line of reasoning to the case at hand. Why has the FBI failed to take legal action? Probably for the same reason Mike has never been sued. The evidence did not support the charge. This is much like what you accused of me earlier. You simply cannot substantiate you claims. As for my name, it’s Mike Roth. Does that make me as un-anonymous as you mikescott? It is most singular that you should make such a remark. Of course, it gives you the opportunity to show us that you are not an incredible hypocrite by applying the same label to some with whom you agree. You could start with Icedog.

Icedog: Yes, I know what you meant and was being coy. But consider what you just wrote. I do not agree with socialism, communism, global warming, tax hikes or socialized medicine. Further more consider the description offered by VERITAS4EVER of the lunatic left. I have never expressed such feelings. So you really have no grounds for calling me a liberal and especially not a typical one.

Rich L.: You may be right, but you comment reminds me of when my daughter was a teen. It seems she had the misfortune of being the only one ‘understood’ in the whole world. Here we have the FBI, the Ohio State government and the Kent State administration all with our heads in the sand while only Dr. Adams (and those that agree with him) sees clearly.

Loco: I read in the National Enquirer that the Garden of Eden was found in the Mediterranean and as proof; they had a picture of Adam and Eve’s remains.

If they weren't shooting Jews...
...then those "poor" "Palestinian" kids wouldn't be dead or in prison, now would they, Pino?

The simple fact of the matter remains that:

When an Israeli soldier launches a missile that results in innocent people dying, the Israelis call that "collateral damage".

Whan a "Palestinian" kids straps explosives to himself, walks into a playgound, and murders innocent children, the "Palestinians" call that "direct hit".

mikescott
Hmmm... as if you werent personal enough, you go on to write that MikeR is an "anonymous coward." Jezzz. "Clearly, MikeR has planted himself deeply under your skin."

NONE of what you have directed at MikeR is warranted. His "crime"?? Criticising what Dr. Adams WRITES!! But never in the PERSONAL terms in which YOU have criticised HIM!

Now THAT is cowardly. I am not calling you a coward, but what you are doing is. Its very easy throw the rocks from behind the keyboard where nobody can find you.

mikescott
Ah yes. I suppose that is all you know. Childish nursery rhymes... "Clearly, James McGrath has planted himself deeply under your skin."

Hey, Maintenance Guy
I too am a former cold warrior. Now I am a college professor. I see these jerks up close and personal. I am also a lawyer, so I understand the jurisprudence of the First Amendment. However, when Pino calls for death to America, his speech is not protected speech. It is a crime. So, yes, we can and SHOULD use his speech to evict him from Ohio State and from this country. Otherwise, we are coddling our enemies in our own breast. And as one past Supreme Court Justice said, often quoted, "the Constitution is not a suicide pact".

"Rand"y
I am an Adjunct Instructor at a Community College here in Dallas, and like you I see the fools (Yes, they are found in Community Colleges as well) up close and personal too. I am a rarity a Conservative on a college campus. I tell my students that in my classes all opinions will be respected, as long as they do not fall under the types of speech you listed.
My full time job is teaching at the Secondary level, and I have found more conservatives teaching there than in the College. Despite what people might think, not all Secondary School teachers blindly follow the AFT and the NEA.

no matter how you slice it
the Palestinians are incapable of self governance. I don't care what numbers you spin. If they aren't getting educated please explain to me all of those Palestinians at UCSF. Anyone who puts idealogy above knowledge at all costs will only reap failure. If you need proof positive look at the Palestinians. I say let them have a civil war and kill eachother. Problem solved. these guys have gotten more in aid than Europe ever did after WWII. Instead of a welfare state we have a welfare race. Amazing how they wallow in misery and profit off of it.

folks
My curiosity was aroused by some of the comments so I took time to re-read past articles on Pino and now I can state emphatically that Dr. Adams has never produced a single bit of evidence to support his charges. Now, he does claim that he has to keep most of it private because of the on going investigation. This may be true, but that leaves us with the dilemma of why is he now angry with the FBI? They may also be forced to keep quiet due to the nature of the investigation. The “smoking gun” was an admitted connection between Pino and the now defunct web site. Here, Kent state was clearly wrong in denying any connection between the two, but Mike was wrong in depicting it as a smoking gun because the connection was tenuous at the most. Dr. Adams also provided a great deal of innuendo that included the most colorful interpretations of “no comment” and silence.

JimmyJoe: Thanks.

For beowulfe
It is also noticeable that Muslim extremists actually CREATE collateral damage by hiding their HQ's amongst civilians. This has been observed in:
(1) Gaza Strip and (maybe lesser extent) West Bank
(2) Pakistani-side Kashmir (in villages)
(3) Lebanon, where Hezbullah hid its weapons atop condos, schools, etc.

And can you guess who has killed the largest number of "Palestinians"? It is "Palestinians", by a margin of about 10-1!

Basically follows the pattern that more Muslims have been killed since 1066 by OTHER MUSLIMS than by all other religions COMBINED!

Who/what is Julio Pino.??.
Where did he come from.??. Is he a naturalized citizen, is he of Latin American origin as he names would imply.??.

Where did he get started on the Arabic world.??.

If anyone knows something about his history, I, for one, would find it somewhat interesting.

Loathing
As much as I loath the radical implementation of Islam, I must bring forth the notion that all Liberal unAmerican college professors are not Muslims. There are far more Jews spreading Socialism and Politically Correct ideas to our young adults than there are Muslims. We are at a shooting war with Islam so they seem to be the more pressing problem but we are in a cultural war with Socialist and I am not willing to put the cultural war aside while we put all our energy and emphasis on Iraq. Our Constitution is being bastardized as we read the latest war news. Dr. Adams has first hand knowledge of Left Wing Professors but to be PC he has to keep silent on some issues.

Political Correct ness
By the way, if any of you want to know where PC came from and who fathered it, read this link:
http://www.freecongress.org/PC_Essays/B_Intro_and_ch
apter_one.pdf
PC is just a step in the implementation of Marxism.

Warrior
Warrior: "There are far more Jews spreading Socialism and Politically Correct ideas to our young adults than there are Muslims."

Just wondering... do you have any factual basis for this assertion? Apart from the fact that you would have to cite what you mean by "socialism and politically correct ideas," I would have thought that Jews were so numerically small a group that they would be unable to achieve anything like this even if they wanted to.

Warrior: "Dr. Adams has first hand knowledge of Left Wing Professors but to be PC he has to keep silent on some issues."

I have often criticised Dr Adams in the past, but I have never criticised him for moral cowardice. The last thing he would do is "keep silent" to be PC on ANY issue.

Folks Like Pino
Dr. Adams has is right. Remove Pino from his job, remove him from the USA (and North America), and return him to a muslim litterbox, preferably without a parachute. People like Pino are pure scum and aren't worth a legal proceding.

Pinot's "Journey to Islam"

Infanticide
You also forgot:

-How many of these children were died because adult terrorists were using them as human shields?

The Real Problem
The real problem on campuses is tenure. Leftists have used the denial of tenure as a tool of bigotry, sensoring all conservative thought.

The federal government should ban all federal monies to schools (high schools and universities) that practice tenure. Then states should pass laws prohibiting state monies from going to any school that supports tenure.

Without tenure these traitors could be fired.

pamsparkle
Thanks for the link on Julio César Pino. I was curious and this link explained as much as I would wish to know about his origins and conversion.

JimmyJoe
No one in America to include you would dare talk disparagingly about Jews. The label anti-Semitic is too heavy a cross to bear. The label is too general to have any real meaning but most people are intimidated by it. The label has been carefully crafted to stifle debate and criticism. Criticism of Jews based on political ideology, political actions, or social leanings has nothing whatsoever to do with the Jewish religion, ethnicity, or race, nevertheless, the anti-Semitic label will be quickly drug out and applied. My guess is you locked immediately on my criticism of Jews in higher education and were taken aback, hence your question.

Warrior writes on PC and what it is.
THIS is THE LINK HE TRIED TO GIVE.

It is an eye opener for me, and will be a scary thought for many of you if you take the time to follow and read this LINK http://www.freecongress.org/PC_Essays/B_Intro_and_chapter_one.pdf

http://www.freecongress.org/PC_Essays/B_Intro_and_chapter_one.pdf

If you have any trouble then paste the link. It is well worth it.

Warrior
Warrior: "No one in America to include you would dare talk disparagingly about Jews."

Nope... not so. I have often heard of the "influence of the Jews" but have never been shown a factual basis for it. You go on to wrongly speculate on my motive for asking the question.

I ask because you make a generalization which seems to me to be a stretch too far to take at face value. You asserted the "influence of the Jews". What is your factual basis for this assertion?

mikescott
As are all leftists, MikeR is just a member of one of the sects of communism (Marxists, Nazis, Democrats). Regardless, like all sects of communism, he supports any group hating the Constitutional Republic of the USA.

How you defeat the US
Taxation, Inflation and, by teaching the children to feel guilty and ashamed of their father's legacy.

Why Radicals would unequivocably take over?

Because capitalist are only interested in selling them paper, ink, computers and bandwith.

Then one day they wake up and there isn't anymore a market.

anti-Socialist, in MikeR's OWN words,
MikeR (11.36am): "I do not agree with socialism, communism, global warming, tax hikes or socialized medicine. Further more consider the description offered by VERITAS4EVER of the lunatic left. I have never expressed such feelings. So you really have no grounds for calling me a liberal..."

...And you have even less grounds for calling him a "leftist" or any of the above.

I dont know how much simpler, in his OWN words, he can express his position. Please read slowly. Any_thing_BUT_ "leftist." Er... duh.

JimmyJoe
While some Jews actually practice Judaism, the majority are Marxists - showing much more hate for the Constitutional Republic of the USA than Pharisees show for Christianity.

anti-Socialist
Can you provide some factual basis for your assertion that "the majority [of Jews] are Marxists"? Can you provide some factual basis for your assertion that the majority show "hate for the.. USA"?

anti-socialist
So what's your point in badmouthing Jews. Do you agree with Pino that they ought to be killed?

Eyes on the prize
Being a Jew has nothing to do with matters - being Marxist does. And, a greater percentage of the Jews are Marxist. Marxists have almost as much hate for Judaists (fellow Jews) as they do for Christians. (Were I to hate Jews, I'd have to hate a part of myself & my family as my mother was a mixuture of Austrian, German and Jew. Rather, I hate Marxism.)

Knee Jerk
Reds, Pinks, Dupes and Useful Idiots.

If you valued a person's opinion, you would not call them names.

If you have a moral foundation, name calling will not offend you personnaly.

If you are a R.P.D.U.I., don't go away made just go on typing.

Bringing out the Jew-haters
One thing I can count on is that any TH column in which anti-Jewish views are mentioned will bring out the Jew-haters among the ranks of conservatives. They're out there; some of them have posted here. As far as I can see, a number of patriotic, red-blooded commie-hating Christian conservatives are also plain old traditional Jew-haters. How can you tell? They're the ones that throw around grand genderalizations about how "most" Jews are...fill in the blank with whatever you hate the most, usually starting with 'communist,' 'socialist,' 'liberal,' and going on from there.

It's time you knew, folks. These assertions are themselves examples of Jew-hating. I hope that there are many conservatives who reject this, but conservatives need to understand that just as the left has its share of nut cases (including its own kind of Jew-haters like this Pino character), the right has historically been a nurturing environment for Jew-haters. If you doubt this, then learn something about the real history of conservatism. Learn about its European roots. Learn about the anti-Jewish sentiment to be found in many notable right wing intellectuals, past and present. Read William Buckley's account of Pat Buchanan and several other contemporary conservative thinkers and political figures who are Jew-haters. But I don't want to tire you out, and there is such a big bibliography there.

Gestell
Gestell: "It's time you knew, folks."

Why thank you, Sir, for so enlightening us.

Gestell: "These assertions are themselves examples of Jew-hating."

Yes, we know...

Gestell: "I hope that there are many conservatives who reject this,"

Er, you might take a look at one or two of my previous posts. Similarly with "Eyes on the Prize".... Fact is my asking the INDIVIDUALS who posted anti-Jewish sentiments for a factual basis for their views and leaving it at that means I avoid FALSELY tarring Conservatives in GENERAL with anti-semitism.

Gestell: "...but conservatives need to understand that just as the left has its share of nut cases (including its own kind of Jew-haters like this Pino character), the right has historically been a nurturing environment for Jew-haters."

Most condescending indeed. But thank you just the same. The LAST thing I or any right thinking Conservative needs right now is a sermon from you or anyone else. When you refer to what "Conservatives need understand," YOU are falling into that very SAME trap of making false generalizations.

Gestell: "If you doubt this, then learn something about the real history of conservatism."

Again, based on your false generalizations, you are condescendingly and falsely assuming that Conservatives dont know their "real history." Thank you again for your condesension.

Gestell: "Learn about its European roots. Learn about the anti-Jewish sentiment to be found in many notable right wing intellectuals, past and present."

Enough already!!

Gestell: "Read William Buckley's account of Pat Buchanan and several other contemporary conservative thinkers and political figures who are Jew-haters."

Now you are really painful. What makes you think we havent steeped ourselves in the writings of W.F. Buckley??

Gestell: "But I don't want to tire you out, and there is such a big bibliography there."

Most considerate. But utterly condescending. In future, address the SPECIFIC individual to whose views you object. Should you find anything I have posted objectionable, address THAT.

Big Mick
BM: "Don't give much of a damn what the TH Commiequeer Lawyers think of it, or Mike's prose style. The man's own words convinced me--they want to defend Pino,"

First off, I dont know what a "TH Commiequeer Lawyer" is. Second, I didnt see a SINGLE post defending or even attempting to "defend Pino."

BM: "It's up to THEM to rebut, not up to Adams to provide more evidence."

Rebut what, exactly? The only objection to Dr. Adams in this article was that he was making certain statements of opinion which he didnt SEEM to back up.

I'd rather be certain the person at the other end of the lynch mob was guilty before we actually strung him up. If he isnt actually guilty of the things Dr. Adams is directing towards him, then we would look VERY stooopid indeed, Mick.

prejudices
When can I expect to be treated according to the content of my character and not the color of my yellow star? :)

I'll take Mike's research on Pino over
anything else. I do not see anyone rushing to prove that he is a Boy Scout, maybe because they can't. I've heard enough about him from someone I trust to insist that his apparently untenured position at Kent should be reviewed by everyone.

Those liberal-indoctrinating, pig profs have got to go.

The Palestinians are incompetent. They have destroyed the plant the Jews left during the most recent land turnover. They are apparently incapable of industry, meaning hard work. Why they do not beg their god for some humility and go to the Jews for instruction on what to do with the desert?

A people who allow a pig like Arafat to lead them, not for the equivalent of a term of office, but for what? 20 years? are not well.

bigmick
I take it from your handle that I am talking to a fellow Irishman?

BM: "The "lawyers" I refer to are those, you seem to be among them,"

Aha. A little clearer and more open. Fact is I have made NO comment on the merits of what Dr. Adams has stated, until I replied to your previous post. Another poster did, but it would be impossible to read his criticism as a "defense" of Pino.

BM: "If it AIN'T so then I need to see evidence FROM YOU, not more evidence from Adams."

From the statements Dr. Adams attributes to Pino above, I do NOT reach the same conclusions about Pino as you do, regarding his "genocidal tendencies." Nor can I see how you reach those conclusions.

So when Dr. Adams writes something like:
"He wants all Jews to be dead",
this is NOT at ALL obvious from what was actually written IN the article, and certainly not from the quotations attributed to Pino as used by Dr. Adams.

Luis
Luis: "I do not see anyone rushing to prove that he is a Boy Scout, maybe because they can't."

Actually, maybe "because they can't"... be bothered. Who cares? I never heard of him until Dr. Adams gave him the oxygen of publicity in his columns... Untenure him by all means. Big deal.

Generalizations about "Liberals" "Conservatives"
"Jews" etc annoy me because they are usually wrong. Same with false generalizations about "Palistinians".

anti-socialist
You are an excellent case in point. With absolutely no evidence what so ever, you make bold accusation about me. And to add humor to the situation, you do it in support of someone who considers it cowardice to not use your full name when posting. Well, I can say this much. You actually are helping Dr. Adams by making his flimsy accusations look good by comparison. His target actually looks the part and writes in very bad taste to say the least.

Warrior: So what’s your take on mikescott accusing me of being an anti-Semite as a response to criticizing Dr. Adams?

MikeR
I wouldnt waste much time on either Warrior or anti-socialist. Neither woudld let the actual facts get in the way of a good prejudice!

reply to the big mick
I'll believe you're a graduate of any divinity school of any description when I read a post from you that is (a) grammatically coherent and (b) a demonstration of anything resembling Christian love or piety. You may not be a Jew-hater, but yo're a full time hater of all sorts of other people. And you insist on thinking that CAPITAL LETTERS MAKE YOUR COMMENTS REALLY, REALLY AWESOME. Probably you yell to make your points elsewhere as well.

reply to JimmyJoe
Oh migosh, I'm so sorry to have hurt your sensitive feelings. I "condescended"--my bad. I'm accustomed to being called a "CommieQueer," a traitor, and much, much worse by you conservatives (who sometimes say you believe in debate), so "condescension" seems a small thing in comparison. However, I know that you'll come back with some suitable insult. And so will I.

Gestell
I didnt "insult" you. Nor did you insult me. So dont again, falsely assume that you have in the slightest degree hurt my "sensitive" - or otherwise - "feelings". You didnt. I pointed out that you were condescending. As a matter of fact. You were. It doesnt matter how big or small this may be in relation to what OTHER say.

What OTHERS may or may not call you has nothing to do with me. As I suggested in my previous post, the only thing to be done is to take issue with the INDIVIDUAL. You will find plenty of disagreement beTWEEN Conservatives even in this thread, which should prevent you from making false generalisations in the future.

A quick glace through the above posts will show this. So again, thank you for the sermon, but it was both inappropriate and unasked for. And certainly no way to persuade others to your view, should that have been your intention.

Gestell
Even here, you fall into the same trap by referring to what you are called by "you conservatives". Implicitly including me, and others like me who have never done so and never would do so. Fact is I dont even recall ever addressing you in the past, in any way, shape or form.

Should you have taken the trouble to read what I ACTUALLY write before preaching AT me, you would see that I have major problems with such false generalisations whether they be made by "liberals" OR "conservatives". (See Thurdsay 7.32am post for eg.)

Again, you conclude by falsely assuming that I will reply by "insult" to which you will then reply by further "insult." And achieve what, precisely? That is just dumb. A mindnumbing waste of time.

reply to JimmyJoe
I read the majority of TH columns daily, including many posts, and have done so for well over a year. During that time I've posted a number of times, in respone to various columns or other readers who post. I assume that most of the people who post consider themselves to be conservatives of one sort or another, and so, if I'm addressing a topic that I believe involves conservatives in general, I feel warranted in writing such things as "you conservatives." Sometimes I am interested in point-by-point responses to or criticisms of a specific post or reader. Other times I am not. Since I see any number of generalizations made by TH readers about (and generally against, with considerable hostility) anyone they see as "liberals," I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to make generalizations as well. This goes under the venerable principle of sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander. I've noticed that if I make any generalization at all, someone will go on the attack against me for the not uncommon practice, in ideological dispute (which I assume I'm involved in), of generalizing about the opposition. It is impossible, in any sort of political discussion, to avoid generalizations. I suppose the alternative youhave in mind is for me to address each reader individually. You don't have the time for that, and neither do I or anyone else.

I was making generealizations based on what I know about the history and content of conservative political doctrines. Historically, animus against Jews has been associated with the political Right. While there has been, and is certainly present now, a style of Jew-hating on the Left, again, historically, the Left has generally been more favorable to Jews than has the Right. Perhaps this is changing, but the expressions of Jew-hatred in posts here prompted my comments.

I see no reason in anything said in reply to my posts to retract anything I said about Jew-hating among conservatives. The history of this is long and deep in conservatism, but today's conservatives stopped being interested in their own history some time ago.

Bored with Ostriches
Pino apologists in this comment section are proof that some people just don't want factual information. To the ostriches, I say: While your head is in the sand, be grateful for those who are protecting your defenseless derrieres.

Sickened KSU Alum
I just visited my alma mater's website to see if this "professor" was still employed by the university. Of course, he is. I am embarrassed to be an alum, and I am appalled at the administration's continued harboring of someone tied to terrorist ideology. I will never contribute another dime to this school, nor set foot on campus again. Kent State Administrators: Shame on you. You disgrace this country and her fighting forces by allowing this man to continue to "educate" our young people. Mr Pino, you are also a disgrace to the teaching profession, and I will pray for your twisted soul.
