Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

IRS employment application packets notify potential workers that the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration vets all candidates and current employees "who have violated or are violating laws, rules or regulations related to the performance of their duties." President-elect Obama is standing by a nominee who would oversee the IRS but might not even qualify for a lesser job at the agency. This is insanity.

Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs calls Geithner's transgressions "honest mistakes." Media outlets like the Associated Press have attempted to downplay his snubbing of the law as mere "tax goofs." When Democrats like Geithner, Al Franken and Charlie Rangel fail to pay up what they legally owe, they're just goofs. When you or I object to forking over more than what we're already paying, Vice President Joe Biden calls us unpatriotic.

Even more maddeningly, Senate Republicans Orrin Hatch and Lindsay Graham insist on defending Geithner as "very competent" and "the right guy." Never mind Geithner's atrocious role in fostering the spending binge of financial giant Citigroup and engineering the teetering company's $52 billion federal bailout. Those who take his tax evasion and record of failure seriously are guilty of "think[ing] in small political terms," Graham lectured.

Tell that to the millions of self-employed entrepreneurs across the country who sweat bullets paying their quarterlies and ensuring their papers are in order down to the hundredth decimal place. It's fecklessness like this that has earned Washington Republicans the "Stupid Party" moniker.

Screw up, move up: It's the Washington way.

incompetence personified
Has there ever been a less qualified supporting cast surrounding a not ready for prime time President?Every cabinet post and inner cicle advisor is either a Clinton retread, felon or both.Hypocrates seem to be such an understatement when it applies to the words vs. actions of this group. We have tax cheats in charge of all the treasury dept posts. We have as intelligence savant/chief of staff with a permanent kicked puppy look etched on his face. His total intel. experience comes from overhearing screaming arguements from Bill and Hillary.Sound like my guy,in the middle of two wars looking for more. Our state dept. has "translators" that screw up a prestigious artifact that was destined for the hall of fame in the Kremlin.Save for the fact it looked like it came out of the latest TOYS-R-US catalog, and had a covert message for Putin to overcharge us-as if he wouldn't anyway.Somebody's butt is being reset all the way to Ft. Marcy Park as we speak. We will just skip over the nap heard around the world,as the only ally we have left is at the airport calling a cab.The first lady and a staff of hundreds couldn't find the time or brain cells to arrange the proverbial steak dinner for P.M. Brown.I seriously think the white house forgot he was arriving. So the Pres has to dust off a compilation of DVD movies that can't be played at 10 Downing St.The absolute insult of all time was giving the bust of Churchill back,a gift of solidarity from P.M. Blair to President Bush after 9/11.Let alone the fact it was not Obama's to give,he just had to make room for the velvet Malcolm X. Let us not forget throwing Israel under the bus a month after vowing to defend her as we have always done.Somewhere between Syria and the Gaza strip,a railroad car full of hundred dollar bills was found by Hamas-enough for at least ten thousand suicide bombers,if bought in bulk. And the crisis is at home! Is that a punch line? God I hope so.

GOVERNMENT OF THE GOOFS, BY THE GOOFS, .
These facts are more reasons for citizens to vote against Republicans such as Orrin Hatch and Lindsey Graham.

I see the demonic liberals read you facts.

Congratulations, Michelle. We true Conservatives love you.
