Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Well, here is the thanks we get. Eight years ago, America opened its arms to tens of thousands of ethnic Albanian refugees from Kosovo. The first planeload landed at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Military leaders worked day and night to turn the base into a child-friendly village. They coordinated medical and security checkups, mental health and trauma counseling and ethnic food preparations.

Soldiers from Fort Bragg traveled up from North Carolina to assist in refugee operations at Fort Dix. Then-U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Mitchell M. Zais also assembled a team of about 80 soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve Command in Atlanta. The New Jersey National Guard and American Red Cross teamed up to coordinate charity relief. The military also supported the relief effort's interagency task force, headed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

In addition to food and shelter, we provided translators, welfare consultants and Muslim chaplains. The base constructed prayer rooms and handed out Muslim "sensitivity" cards to the troops. Said Gen. Zais: "We want to welcome these people to America the way we might wish our grandparents and great-grandparents had been welcomed to Ellis Island."

Fast-forward from 1999 to yesterday's headline news: "Fort Dix Plot Aimed At Soldiers; Authorities Say 6 Islamic Militants Arrested, Were Plotting Attack At N.J. Base." Three of the alleged plotters were illegal alien brothers from the former Yugoslavia. Another was a legal permanent resident from the former Yugoslavia. Another hailed from Jordan, and the sixth was a naturalized American citizen originally from Turkey.

According to the criminal complaint against Dritan Duka, one of the illegal alien brothers accused of knowingly and willfully conspiring with the jihadi gang to kill U.S. soldiers, the plotters have schemed for more than a year to murder our troops. They scoped out Dover Air Force Base and Fort Monmouth, as well as the port of Philadelphia, before settling on Fort Dix. One of the participants used to deliver pizza to the base -- used to supply food to our men and women in uniform giving him business -- and knew the military facility "like the palm of his hand."

You think all our hospitality and charity bred good will in these young men -- all in their 20s and enjoying the fruits of the American Dream? Forget about it. The criminal complaint describes the plotters, along with a confidential informant, gathering at a rental house to train with Mujahadin video games:

"Members of the group pointed out that United States military vehicles were shown being destroyed in various attacks. [Illegal alien] Shain Duka pointed out that a United States Marine's arm had been blown off, at which point laughter erupted from the group."

Just hard-working, "undocumented citizens" plotting the plots and laughing at the anti-American atrocities ordinary Americans wouldn't laugh at, yeah? If they had only laid low a few extra months, they might have gotten that illegal alien amnesty President Bush and Congress are so eager to hand out.

According to the criminal complaint, they laughed at our troops getting maimed and killed. They soaked up Osama bin Laden's evil rants. They studied the 9/11 hijackers' last wills and testaments. They contemplated infiltrating our armed forces to frag soldiers from the inside. They relished the thought of spilling American blood on American soil. Is yours boiling yet?

"My intent is to hit a heavy concentration of soldiers," Jordanian-born naturalized U.S. citizen Mohamad Shnewer is quoted telling the plotters. "You hit four, five, six humvees and light the whole place [up] and retreat completely without any losses."

Eight years ago, at the Clinton administration's behest, this nation welcomed refugees escaping a genocidal regime whose military spread fear and brutalized its people. Eight years later, we have a homegrown jihad plot targeting a base that symbolizes the best, the brightest and the most compassionate our military has to offer.

And what is the Muslim community doing to condemn the accused traitors in our midst? Carping about the government's actions to stop jihad in its tracks:

"If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law," said Muslim lawyer Sohail Mohammed. "But when the government says 'Islamic militants,' it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous.'"

The thanks we get, huh?

I'm not even
going to read this.

Michelle, you're much to pretty and intelligent to be ignored.

Unfortunately, you are. We got lucky with these guys, but we may not the next time. Rest assured, the next terror attack on the USA will be by the hands of illegal aliens.

No one cares, Michelle. No one that matters, anyway. Open border multiculturalism is the new mantra, security be damned.

After all, nobody in our administration or in congress will have to deal with the aftermath of such an attack, so they don't care one bit.

I'll be at my house cleaning my guns, holler if you need me.

Muslims in Minnesota
Has anyone noticed that the Minnesota colleges will put in foot washing basins and prayer rooms for muslims with much more to come? Does anyone think that this would happen if a christian asked? I thought that state money could not be spent on religious items or is that only if it is for christian? If anyone thinks that they are buying good will they should look at what they uncovered in New Jersey from people that we welcomed here.

A funny thing happened..
Ground was broken for a new mosque in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. It was a first for the town. Cherry Hill is a largely Jewish suburb of Philadelphia. The Jewish mayor welcomed the diversity that the mosque brought to his town in a speech covered by today's "Courier Post" Meanwhile one or more of the Cherry Hill H.S. alums were being busted for plotting to attack Fort Dix. If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be hilarious.

Only in New Jersey!

Borders?
We don't need no stinkin' borders....

And the Imam said..
Oh, and the Imam emphasized how his new mosque would be a magnet for Muslims to come to Cherry Hill from all over. They only have a few dozen adherents in the congregation now, but the model of the place looked huge. Gee, I wonder from where did all that money come?

Just a coincidence, of course.
Only in New Jersey (for now), the home of the first WTC bombers!

Free the conspirators and apologize!
Obviously we failed in our duty as a nation to make these people feel truly welcome. If we had merely adopted a bit more of their culture, and made efforts to curtail the parts of our culture that they found offensive, these misunderstood gentlemen would not have felt such a need to punish us.

America needs to stop insisting that people who relocate here from other countries adopt our ways. Immigrants put forth a great deal of effort when they leave their native soil, and they should be encouraged to continue practicing their customs and speaking their own language even though they live among us. We failed to make these Muslim men feel that they were free to live under sharia law, free to convert non-believers by any means necessary, and free to abide by the edicts set forth by their imams instead of the Western leaders that they despise. We should welcome different types of people, even if their particular brand of diversity encompasses a severe hatred of our culture, people, and government.

The incarceration of these Muslims for the simple expression of their beliefs is a crime far greater than anything they were planning. As such, these poor souls should be released from jail, and an apology should be issued for the audacity that was displayed by our professed disdain for the manner in which they express their religion. Destroying the West is simply a cornerstone in the culture of the Muslim world, and we embarrass ourselves by displaying such intolerance of their ways. Thus, we need to let Muslims freely practice their religion in our country, and we need to halt any activity that offends them. To do otherwise risks having them dislike us.

Yeah, you know, enough's enough
Bad enough with the open borders, but frankly this ongoing abetment by the Muslim community at large, their silence about all the outrageous things their clerics are promoting, their refusal to condemn any of the outrageous actions of the fanatics, their constant whining about being singled out, the disgusting pronouncements of CAIR, the knowingly provocative actions of idiots like the Flying Imams...

I'm starting to build up a real strong general anti-Islam feeling, and I've even got some in my peripheral family!

If the general Islamic community doesn't get its collective act together as far as taking a very strong, clear and unequivocal stand against these kinds of activities, and stop their constant bellyaching about having their pictures taken for drivers licenses and other ridiculous BS, I think they're going to find themselves on the wrong end of a very strong reaction from the people of this country.

And they'll have earned it.

Name a community center for them too!
LD,

How about if we name a motor pool, a few latrines and a landfill at Fort Dix after these guys? I've seen the light that you shine. We should atone for our transgressions and aid their mission from Allah.

Stay safe.

Tana: Interestingly enough
The only thing in your comment with which I don't agree is your dismissal of the idea that by fighting in Iraq we tie up a significant portion of Islamo-Fascist capability.

We actually do; that's basic military strategy and tactics.

BTW, there's nothing "neo" about my "con".

I'm a die-hard old-line conservative from probably before you were born, NRA Life Member, Nam vet, Thompson/Tancredo supporter, etc blah blah.

Illegal aliens show their worth again.
Isn't planning a lethal assault on a military base one of those jobs that Americans refuse to do?

Please ...

Close the borders, build the fence, and stop referring to terrorist as mentally ill.

*****
Loyal Democrat,

You write an interesting post for a Demo_rat.:)

Be safe.

BrianR
Myself and many of my vet buddies feel exactly as you describe. And I would bet there are many more Americans feeling this way. I don't know how long we will put up with catering to this Islamic trash. But if something isn't done soon I'm afraid people will take matters into their own hands.

Islam
When is America going to wake up? This Peaceful Islam is bunko.Read the Quoran and it will open your eyes! Don't listen to the Muslim organizations that issue statements that state they are peace loving- that is only pablum for westerner consumption. Secretly they cheer everytime an American is killed by these murderers. Remember Islam is FIRST a political force before a religion!

We go out of our way...
... to shelter refugees from a war zone, and THIS is the thanks we get??

These people whom we fight... are they men, or are they demons who hide in the shape of men?

homegrown jihad plot
Better send more troops to Iraq! Did we forget the Terror War is global? It's good some see it on our own soil and prevent it. Forget that and risk another attack.

Islamic nation
Guys, you just need to start studying the Koran and learn to pray three times a day facing Mecca. There is nothing anyone can do to stop this nation from coming under Sharia Law, since our President and lawmakers don't seem to care. Why make such a big fuss? Just accept the inevitable.

Tanabear
Only a contortionist limber enough to comfortably stick his head up his caboose can find a way to blame Bush for a planned Islamic attack that has been foiled.

I won't bother refuting what you say, because detachedly observing your propositions is a much more interesting exercise.

As a matter of fact, I've been wondering with fascination about what individuals such as you will do after January, 2009, when the host of your 8-year monomania will leave office.

It will be amusing to watch all of you toddle around like an angry flock of motherless penguins, looking for the next one-size-fits-all "evil" to imprint your civic consciences to.

===

Everyone else:

This is a reminder that direct affiliation with an organized terrorist group is not a necessary condition for Islamic atrocities to happen.

Direct affiliation with Islam plus hatred of the West--no doubt corroborated by our own constant self-flagellation--seem to be the necessary and sufficient elements.

And, of course, this is a reminder that those who cross our border legally and illegally are not necessarily benign college students and lettuce-pickers eager to better their lives and assimilate, as we are told by an assortment of starry-eyed imbeciles (including, alas, our president).

The naked truth is this: we are allowing nothing less than enemy combatants to live and plot in our midst. This is not just irresponsible: it is insane.

Enough is enough. We are inching closer to a point where many of us citizens will eagerly and march CAIR and its enablers, the idiots at Casa de Maryland and the various apologists for illegal immigration, to our borders, where a long-overdue kick in the pants will allow us to see the back of all of them once and for all.

And good riddance to them and their brand of "diversity" that we are being intimidated into swallowing with a smile.

my 2 cents
"If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law." Muslim Lawyer Sohail Mohammed

I agree

"But when the government says 'Islamic militants'. it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonomous." Muslim lawyer Sohail Mohammed.

I agree again.

Sophail baby, sit down and let me

before I was so rudely interrupted
Sohail baby, sit down and let me try to explain:

(For the 100th time - you guys seem a bit thick.)

Until you show us that the two are NOT synonomous that's the way it is.

See if this works: It is said that only 1% of Muslims are militants, IOW - into killing large numbers of innocent people and themselves in pursuit of the restoration of the Islamic Caliphate around the entire world. If there are, say, 1,000,000,000 Muslims in the world, certainly a minimum estimate, that means (take away two zeros - get it?) that there are at least 10,000,000 militants intent on causing hate and confusion and death and stuff in their frenzied pursuit of a new Islamic Caliphate.

That worries us.

That worries us to the extent that, wonder of wonders, some of us have realized that your goal is not ours, and that in order to prevent your goal from being reached we might have to oppose you.

Still with me?

You're not listening? You're not even reading this closely reasoned masterpiece?

Sohail - I'm shocked.

OK, Sohail baby, try this - Go to http://www.memri.org and check out today's offerings, specifically SD #1577, with the charming title:

Hamas Al-Aqsa TV - A Mickey Mouse Character Teaches Children About the Islamic Rule of The World And to 'Annihilate the Jews'

NOW do you get it?

Obama is an enabler
Rest assured, Obama is an enabler, as are most of the Dhimmicrats.

Check my blog for the HUGE MISTAKE Obama made in Richmond yesterday!

As I stated months ago, an empty suit.

BillK9
"When is America going to wake up?" We are already awake--by the tens of millions and growing.

The problem is that our being awake, in itself, does not translate into direct solutions:

1 - The majority of our elected representatives are an entrenched political class for whom governing has taken second place to playing the inside-the-beltway game and keeping their fat ones on their chairs. Just look at the US Senate, a stable of wannabe presidents for whom short-term demagoguery is infinitely more valuable than long-term conscientious governing.

2 - We have too many institutions impervious to our "waking up": to mention only three, massive un-steerable bureaucracies, politicized courts and the Old Media. All these establishments have de facto insulated many important aspects of American policy from the will of the people.

3 - We have allowed pro-illegal and pro-Islamist groups to form powerful and influential coalitions, with strong legal branches (also aided by the ACLU) and a permanent cheerleader in our media. This means that while we are "waking up," they will be miles ahead of us in the battle for the country *they* want.

It is becoming obvious that if we want change, and if we think it's dangerous to wait around for an unlikely Messiah in Washington--until our children and grandchildren will have to solve an even bigger mess--it is up to us to act as free citizens and adults in charge of our country.

Synonymous
said Muslim lawyer Sohail Mohammed. "But when the government says 'Islamic militants,' it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous.'"

According to your supposedly holy book and the Islamic leaders around the world, Islam DEMANDS militancy. All non-believers are to be converted or put to the sword. How is that NOT militant?

This is not important
to liberals.

The top of their agenda includes:

1. Keeping abortion legal
2. Impeach Bush
3. Outlaw guns
4. Outlaw smoking
5. Outlaw God in public
6. Taking those oil profits

They are striking "War on Terror" from their vocabulary - just as "illegal alien" has already been deemed hate speech.

The Crawfish
That works for me - well said.

Islamic "Leaders"
Does anyone believe that leaders within the Christian faith would remain silent about this situation had these dirt-bags claimed to be plotting in the name of Jesus? The outcry would have been - rightly - loud and long by the Christian community. But what do you get from the Islamic community? Lawyer talk! I'll believe Islam is a "peaceful" religion when the Imams denounce people such as these and disavow the randon killing of innocents as a path to "peace'. Til then, I will keep my weapons loaded and my eyes open.

Uncle Max,
Well said.

Let me add something. Anybody who understands 6th grade grammer can see that in the term "Islamic militants" that "Islamic" is an adjective of the term "militants." Just because someone uses the term "Islamic militants" does not mean he or she believes the two to be synonomous.

So let me state that emphatically. The teachings of Islam ARE, in fact, militant.

The Bible says to make disciples of all nations, but the 12 apostles were told that if their message was not received, they were to shake the sand off their sandals on their way out of town.

Islam says to kill anyone who won't forcibly convert, or to collect a special tax. And, oh yeah, kill all the Jews. That's not the radicalized version. That's the base model.

And how many more are unnoticed?
These animals were considered "good neighbors" and they owned pizza joints, worked at 711, etc. They blended into the American way of life, while plotting American deaths on our soil.

How many more are out there that appear nice and quiet, just living the American dream? This bothers me to no end. I never felt I had to give anyone from the middle east who lives here the hairy eye, but I'll tell you, I'm watching them all now.

It's come to our soil again people. We let one of them swear on the Koran, a former Black Panther, into office. Cab drivers are refusing service to patrons who appear drunk or carry alcohol because it's against their religion. We are bulding foot washing basins in colleges and airports for their religious rituals---however, the democrats will spit on anything Christian affiliated. What the fudge are we thinking?

For all of those who are anti-Christian and believe them all to be so radical, when was the last time you heard about Christians wanting to destroy and murder our soldiers on US soil? When was the last time you heard about Christians taking over airplanes to fly them into buildings? When was the last time you heard about Christians going into a mall to shoot as many US citizens as they can? When was the last time you heard about Christians blowing up an embassy, a train, a boat? When was the last time you saw a Christian be-head someone on TV with a dull knife?

Yeah....I thought so.

Get your head out of your arses, figure out who your real enemy is. You may not dig Jesus, and I'm not even religious and Jewish, but I'm cognitive enough to know who is more dangerous to me.

Shells
Who were you giving the "hairy eye" after the Oklahome city bombing?

Gunny C
There you go, I knew one would emerge.

Sure Gunny C, you're right. Because of Timothy McVeigh, all Christians from that point and in our present and in our future is and was absolutely more dangerous than any radical Islamist of our time. Heck, what was I thinking?!

Let's open our borders and bring more Muslim extremists! We're in Danger? I was sooooo wrooooong! Christians deserve ridicule because of McVeigh. You got me! Boy do I feel sheepish....

Sigh....Gunny C, your mind is a sour dough pretzel--gooey, soft and twisted. To you and people like you, you can't see the big picture, even when it's plopped right in your backyard.

Lynne
I feel the same way. I was raised to judge an individual and not the collective group, for instance, Gunny C's remark about McVeigh which shows the ignorance of the left.

It's apparent it's on our soil again, and luckily we got them this time. It only takes one mistake for a disaster to occur. The libdolts don't even ponder this.

Perhaps it's because a military base was targeted that they don't care? Maybe if the local Starbucks was the next target, would they then feel the pangs of danger and anger?

It's likely that there
are many of these "sleeper" jihadists in our midst plotting and planning an attack. After all that is what their jihadist handbook instructs them to do.
So how could anyone be trusting of the Muslims in our midst.

I'm not and I'll admit to it. Your next door neighbor could be plotting. That is the MO for these thugs. And, I see no reason to be PC about. It's time to put away the stupid PC and denial over this.

With millions of illegals invading our borders also, we have no idea who is in our country right now planning our demise.

They all look alike....
Did anyone else notice how the NJ plotters ALL LOOK ALIKE, from the style of their hair to the length of their beards?

Makes a great case for profiling....

Gunny G.....
just what the hell does one nut case in Oklahoma have to do with global Islamic terrorism? Don't even try to equate the two.

There's a farm
There is a farm in Katy that has pig races every weekend, to the anger of the local Muslims.

Maybe a pig race track in New Jersey along with betting. Equal oppertunity offense.

boomer
I believe it was Gunny C, not GunnyG who said that. But, your observation is astute. Just what does it have to do with jihadists is correct. It's just a stupid canard the left throws out because they side with the Muslims, wanting to tell us over and over they are peace loving individuals. I'll believe that when they start chanting in the streets against their radical brethren.

packrat
Good idea. But, in Maine, I believe our government has already declared it a hate crime to have a ham sandwich in front of a Muslim. Soon this guy with the pig races will be charged with a hate crime. There is no doubt in my mind the way things are going.

Gunny C
After Oklahoma I was watching for nutcase militia-wannnabes who had disavowed Christianity. And who bought a lot of fertilizer and stored it in a Ryder truck.

Why do you ask?

Gunny C Part 2
To continue, but after Oklahoma, no more militia-wannabe threats emerged, so i let it go.

Strangely, Moslems keep blowing up things, so I think I may have detected a pattern. Israel, the US, Iraq, lots of Moslems seem to walk up to people and mysteriously explode, and others get on planes which mysteriously smash into buildings.

I think it may be bad luck to be near Moslems.

What Limp-Wristed Wussie

Is trying to confuse this forum by taking "Gunny CEE" as a screen name?

Regular visitors here can easily tell the difference between Gunny C and Gunny G, but already boomer has been duped by the ruse.

Gunny C - Offensive, bilious rat

Spineless
Wait until we have waves of refugees from Iraq emigrating to the U.S. after we "redeploy" out of there. We don't even have the spine to enforce our own laws or secure our borders so it's open season. The last amnesty in 1986 made citizens of some of the people who blew up the WTC in 1993. There is no homeland security without border security. Congress is preparing to do the opposite of what we should do: secure the border, restore respect for the law with actual enforcement. Instead we will get an amnesty only the illegal aliens and the corrupt corporations who hire them want. The borders will remain wide open so more workers can be imported for the jobs that can't be exported. Cheap labor (GOP) and cheap votes (Dems) take precedence over security. We are playing into the hands of the jihadis. We may just be the paper tiger Osama thinks we are.

enemy identity
Another attack, especially by a "home grown" will remove our aversion to enemy identification.
If you have any friends who are muslim apologists, you may want to tell them we will lose our aversion to identifying ALL of our enemies.

Inability to construct an argument

To label you a complete idiot wouldn't be strong enough. You're the type of ridiculous self-righteous jerk that resembled my step-father almost getting us killed by yelling at locals in the back roads of Alabama that happened to be in his path.

If, perhaps, you are trying to be a part of the conservative movement by this claptrap spew, please don't. People from the middle east are no different than any other people, as you've so aptly demonstrated by this ridiculous outburst.

What Voltaire wrote
Voltaire is correct. One has to only look at the time wasted on eight fired lawyers to see where the elected officials have interests. Eight lawyers as opposed to 13 million illegal aliens. I guess they can't tell where there is a problem. But they are looking out for their own (and not us). I am beginning to lose faith in the whole beltway lot. Close the borders, enforce the immigrations laws, round up the illegals and put them at the end of the line. And restrict immigration. I have met plenty of hard working, decent, legal workers and immigrants here. Why must we put up with trash? Because the Gov'ment says so? Keep a special eye on Moslems, Islam and the like. Oh, and these jihadis are what? Infiltraitors, sabatours, spies. Does anybody shoot those kind of people anymore. We used to.
Dr. K

McVeigh wasn't a Christian
There is a difference between Christian based religion and true Christianity. Timothy McVeigh was not a Christian based on what he did. True Christianity is a personal relationship between a person and Jesus Christ. There is no religious twist and no "requirements" other than to believe in Him and love Him with your heart, soul, and body. Religion can and will cause strife and violence, but true Christian believers will never resort to violence in the name of God or anyone else.
There are folks out there who may claim to be Christians, but in reality they sold themselves out to Satan a long ago.

(examples? Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, John Edwards, Obama, the Clintons, just to name a few)

Lynne
I agree with that and it jives with what I have read in "Milestones." Also, NEVER forget the old Arab saying that goes, "The enemy of my enemy is my FRIEND!"

It's possible that the jihadis used McVeigh as a "useful idiot" much in the same way that the liberals are used by the enemy to damage teh USA in any way, shape, or form.

Gunny CEE
I think Eric Rudolph (the Olympic bomber, and abortion clinic bomber) may have made your case stronger. That said , however, and individual nutcase not following the true principles of Christianity cannot compare to millions of nutcases following their relgious book to the letter.

Who is the worst president ever?
Jimmy Carter probably is the top vote getter right now, but George W will unseat Jimmy the minute we get another terrorist attack after he leaves office. We can excuse Clinton for 9/11 to a certain degree, because no one believed that an attack in the magnitude of 9/11 could ever happen. W does not have any excuses. He saw 9/11. He got recommendations from the 9/11 commission to secure the borders. He has failed miserably so far and determines to make it worse with his amnesty. W’s legacy will be the thousands who will be killed due to his failure to perform his constitutional duty to protect our borders. The feds caught these six this time. But like the drug smugglers from Mexico, for every one we catch, ten gets through. It is not if, but when one of these plots will succeed.

Border enforcement
Virginia Patriot writes: Wednesday, May, 09, 2007 10:14 AM

-------------------------
We've had the assets in personnel to monitor the border and report cartel and terrorist activities since 1976. Unfortunately, not a single administration or director has deemed it necessary to collect relevant information on the border because of the potential backlash for potentially spying on Americans, too. The complete failure of the intelligence networks to provide up to date information outside of human hearsay is also what the Bush 41 and Clinton administrations were rightfully blamed for in the 911 commission. But reporters still ignore the fact that in 2007 we still have no daily information updates on either cartel, consolidated criminal networks, or terrorist cells on the southern border. Instead, swagger and vitriol in both political parties rule border politics and governors of New Mexico get to call American citizens traitors for opposing criminal immigration and identity theft. Tyson Farms has more control over border immigration (still) than the entire American government.

Everyday, people are killed by illegals committing violence against Americans, illegally stealing jobs, and even the U.S. Justice Department giving out day passes to admitted drug traffickers in order to protect the completely fabricated principle that foreign nationals have civil rights American citizens do not.

Seriously, what does it take for America's government to grow a freaking pair and react to real enemies for once?

Hezbollah builds a Western base
From inside South America’s Tri-border area, Iran-linked militia targets U.S.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17874369/

This activity has been going on since I was on the border in a military function that explicitly prevented us from reporting on ancillary activities by Central and South American criminal networks we could monitor second-hand. The Mexican military should just set a base up inside the United States for the many times they continue to cross the border to support drug trafficking.

But the moment anyone cries foul the criminals yell racism and people run like children. Agents Ramos and Compean highlight the manner in which our veteran law officers are treated when the Executive branch has an agenda. The fact that the Justice department has refused to secure the border and instead taken two veterans as poster children for their lunatic bizarro world hostages speaks volumes of the cowardice of our government.

honesty or civility is looked at as a sign of weakness and something to exploit. The US needs to realize that good deeds and intentions get you nothing but killed with these savages. The only thing that they can understand is brutish behavior designed to wipe out their entire existence - THAT gets their attention if done often enough.

Oh, and are those foot washing basins??? I've been using them as spitoons! Oh well, can't stop now. I'm a creature of habit.

All six foreigners
A lot has been made of the illegal status of 3 of the muslim terrorists. I haven't heard much mentioned that all six were born in a foreign country.

When are we going to stop allowing muslims into this country and when are we going to deport those who are not already citizens? When someone can figure out a way to determine which ones want to kill Americans and which ones are peaceful, then we can keep the good ones. Until then, keep all of them out.

Tough choices....
Based on all Ive seen and read, the winner is William Jefferson Clinton and his assistant president, Hillary. The choice was tough between them and Mr Peanut. Overall, it took one to screw the country with Carter, it took 2 with the Clintons.

People want to say the current president is the worst, but he has kept us safe for the last 6+ years so he's done well under the circumstances.

I can't believe it!
We shipped these people over here? I think we shot ourselves in the foot. As for me, I never owned a gun, however, I seriously considering purchasing one so I won't be caught with my pants down by my ankles.

Tancredo
First, I think it is high time we stop ALL Muslim immigration to this country. Period. It doesn't matter what part of the globe they hail from, they beiieve in killing us!

Second, Tom Tancredo is running for president and wants to stop all immigration from terrorist sates. Check out http://www.TEAMTANCREDO.COM and let everyone know about him. He wants to stop illegal immigration and out of control immigration and wants to secure our borders and do away with sanctuary cities.

Third, sign up for http://www.NUMBERSUSA.com to send free faxes to your senators and representatives regarding immigration.

Again, let's stop all muslims from immigrating here. They are taught to hate!!

Lookie at what Fivo wrote about me!!
"But I don't keep my mouth shut in the face of stereotypical racist, like yourself mate."

Not only am I a card carrying racist, I'm also a guy!!!! Ya think Fivo has the keen reflexive cognitive sense of a sloth? yeah, I think so.

Ok Fivo, sigh....here's my resume to appease you:

Female, Jewish Agnostic, married a Catholic, Divorced, Employed, Propert Owner, gay family members, best friend is black, 1st love of my life a Mexican, my favorite most reliable co-worker Palestinian, yaddah yaddah yaddah....belch......

So, as I was saying Fivo....quit while you're behind. I happen to dislike to the point of blood thirsty hate--people who try to kill me and my countrymen. People who share commonalities of background....like, perhaps Jihadists......Hmm...Muslim Extremists....Hmmm....

No, you're right. I'm a racist.

Jane - Tancredo
Tancredo is excellent on the border issue, but he does not have the complete package to win. Duncan Hunter has actually passed legislation for securing the border in California. He is a Vietnam veteran with numerous metals. He looks the part more than Tancredo, and that counts for alot with your not-so-informed voters. Ann Coulter said last night on Fox Hunter is her choice, and she asked Hannity to mention his name more often on his show. Ann is seldom wrong.

Apparently you're trying to John Edwards me.

Again, your brush was stereotypically racist. If you're unable to deal with this it's not my problem. Really, I could care less who or what your family or best friends is/are. Labeling the majority of the Orient in that manner is a racist statement.

"People want to say the current president is the worst, but he has kept us safe for the last 6+ years so he's done well under the circumstances."

People will forget Bush's 6+ years without an attack if we have another 9/11 or worse shortly after he leaves office. We all know that all the planning for the 9/11 attack was done while Clinton was busy with Monica, so most of the blame is on the slick one. You can bet another 9/11 is being planned right now by terrorists who slipped into this country under Bush's watch.

Hound Dog
I agree that Duncan is a great choice too. I'd like to see them run as a ticket. They are the only two who actually want to DO something to stop this invasion!

Gunny C's Logic:
McVeigh, who possesses the attribute of Christianity among thousands of others, commits an atrocity. Once.

No cause-effect relation is adduced between his Christianity and his committing the of atrocity.

Muslims are directly moved by the attribute "Islam" to commit acts of atrocity. Thousands of times every year for thirty years, in five continents.

Islam is the plainly-stated main cause why Muslims are moved to commit these acts, in every instance.

Conclusion: the attribute "Christianity" is as likely to be the cause of atrocities as the attribute "Islam."

(Real conclusion: go watch your cartoons and leave this stuff to adults.)

As I posted earlier,an individual nutcase (i.e. Rudolph) not following the principles of Christianity does not compare to millions of nutcases following there religious text to the letter(i.e. Muslim extrmists)

"I know how much conservative love knee-jerk solutions that don't solve any problems! Which is all that is."

Of course, liberals always come up with well-thought-out solutions. I don’t need to go through the list of thousands of feel-good laws liberals have passed that only exacerbated the problem they were trying to solve. The perfect example of the “liberal method” of solving problems is France.

Isn’t it great to finally not have liberals constantly telling us that we should be more like the French?

Christian
It would only have been a failure had they succeeded in there plot to kill soldiers. Catching them before it happens is a success

animalgirlisback
Kimberly is that you?

what it really is
Islam is not a religon of peace. It is a crime syndicate and we should deal with it as such. We will not give an entry visa to a member of the Sicilian mafia and no Islamic follower should be given one. Lets find a Presidential candidate who will say that.

HUNTER 2008

Conservatives can nominate a conservative. All it takes is not acting like sheep and getting herded into nominating a northeast liberal. 49% will never vote for Hillary, only 60% voted last time. Turnout was the difference. Give Americans a chance to vote for somone who will secure the border and watch turnout soar. Americans want their government to fulfill its most basic responsibility.

The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

Mickey the Terrorist
Did anyone see on CNN last night the story about the Muslims using a person dressed as Mickey Mouse to indoctrinate pre-school kids to be jihadists?

Religion of peace? Give me a break.

Animalgirl: Sorry, you're wrong
As I wrote earlier, until the Muslim community comes out strongly disavowing the actions of these terrorists, and does something to curtail the clerics and others in their community who espouse this type of thing, and basically GET WITH THE PROGRAM as Americans, I am going to consider them all one big monolithic problem.

The ones who keep silent, or worse spend their time running around squawking about being picked on in one way or another, are just as bad as the guys who actually do the deed because they aid and abet by their silence. Plain and simple.

You know, in the Old South, the KKK was quite a faction, as small in numbers as they were, because other Southerners wouldn't speak out against them.

The KKK lost its potency when the rest of the Southerners said "Enough!".

That's what needs to happen now, with the Muslims. Time to loudly say "Enough!" and do something about curtailing the problem in their own midst before someone else does it for them.

Fivo

You're being absolutely pathetic and off the mark completely. I know you know this, the readers know you know this, we know that you know we know this....

UUMMMM.... We caught them, You Know, before they did it. Looks like a victory to me.

If you just have to cast this in a negative light, call it a warning to secure the borders.

We do need to secure our borders however, only 3 of the islamofacists were illegal so even with secured borders this attempted attack still may have occurred. We need to be praising the individuals who help thwart the attack as well as the FBI.

Citizens are going to be the first line of defense from attacks coming from within the U.S.

Border control will go a long way to help but, it will not eliminate the threat.

We Got The Government We Didn't Deserve
Let us not forget that Islam--terrorists--Jihad--hate--slaughter--murder--intolerance--blindness to the truth, and blood-lusting are ALL synonymous terms. Islam teaches from the cradle to the grave “kill all infidels wherever and whenever you find them” and of course, not all Muslims are terrorist murderers, but they all approve the killings, otherwise they are not true Muslims. We should undergo some ethnic cleansing here in this country…we invite in every person who wants to overthrow our government, everyone who hates America but wants to take advantage of our generosity and tolerance, and we are going to suffer greatly for it. Our political correctness, open borders, and insane tolerance is going to get a lot of us killed…Washington is interested in maintaining and attaining power, not the safety of our country…what prostitutes and pimps they are…but, then, you get the government you deserve, right? God help us!

You said we need a candidate that will say that they will not give visas to islamic followers. I met Tom Tancredo a couple of months ago and I flat out asked him if he were president would he stop Muslim immigration to this country and he said, "Yes."
http://www.Teamtancredo.com
No beating around the bush, just a clear "yes." That is what I want in my president.

To Animalgirl
Your quote from the Bible written 2000 years ago is quite correct. The difference is we know it reflects values of 2000 years ago and dont want to live that way today. Islam wishes to live in the 7th century.

Check out my blog ASAP for the newest article that I just posted with the comments from the Huff Nuts as they spin this into Bush's fault!

They suffer from BDS BAD over at the Huff Nuttery!

The attack on Fort Dix
... should be prosecuted as a hate crime. It seems to be the very epitome of "assaulting while hateful." As a Christian American of (mostly) European descent, not to mention a retired vet, I feel deeply hated, dissed, and undermined by this attack. My sense of safety and self-esteem shattered.

Not only that, we can prove beyond the smallest scintilla of a reasonable doubt that the attackers in fact hated the soldiers they attacked. No inferences or deductions needed.

If that's not a hate crime, what is?

Animalgirl
Silence = consent.

As BrianR stated, until they come out en masse and decry it, they are part of the problem.

dyerje
No, no my friend, you are mixed up. It's only a HATE CRIME if:

1. A white person does it.

2. The MSM reports it.

3. Sharpton and/or Jackson condemn it.

America's Future

These next 2 years are vital to the future of this country. For 2007 we must make certain that McCain/Kennedy or whatever it's called this year does not pass the House. It will pass the Senate. The President will sign it, followed by the Totalization Treaty with Mexico, which qualifies former illegals with just 6 qtrs(18 mo) even if worked illegally, the benefits that we had to work 40 qtrs(10 yrs) to qualify for.

In 2008 we must make the candidates address border security and immigration enforcement.
20-30 million citizens of other countries are in our country illegally, 55% from Mexico, most of the rest from other Central and South American countries. Let's not ignore the leftward voting trends of these countries. It is notable that they picked May Day, an old communist day of celebration for their marches.

Most polls show at least half of the American citizens of Hispanic descent want the borders and laws enforced. Republicans will not win by alienating their current voters to get 40% of a new small block that will grow very large, very fast if amnesty is granted. That will grow the Democrats vote larger and faster as the influx increases exponentially as the result of another amnesty. It will spell the end of the Republican Party. The people who used to vote Republican will stop voting or form a new party. Conservatives will lose political influence and we will slide inexorably towards socialism (it has already started).

Most of what you hear about this issue is political propaganda that tries to convince you to give up your country without a fight, including on Fox News. The big money players are all on board the cheap labor express, they care not that American citizens do not want another amnesty. We know the last one resulted in 10 times the number of illegal aliens and a general disregard of our laws. The next one will be equally successful.

We need Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, not reform. We need to restore respect for the law and the faith of the American people that their government is not selling them out. Amnesty for the illegal aliens is also amnesty for the corrupt companies who have been employing them. Money trumps everything, including love of country. Multi-nationals have no loyalty to country by definition, they see us as a market, not a nation. They see people as workers, documented or undocumented, no difference. If they can't send the work to where the labor is cheaper, then they want to bring the cheap labor here. Citizenship is meaningless.

If we love our Constitution and our representative Republic and we intend to keep it we must not surrender our sovereignty or abandon the rule of law. Profits must not supercede security. We should not create a new path to citizenship. We have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other country, illegal aliens have ignored it and bad choices do have consequences.

Ladies, speak up for your sisters
How any woman, including the posters here, supports the Muslims is beyond me. Ladies, have you seen how the Muslim faith teach men to treat women? Wake up. Or, do you really care, as long as they are against the US. What is that old saying? They may be scum, but they are our scum.

Who Is Going To Speak Up For Us?
When it comes to symbols of Christianity in the public arena, however vague, previously acceptable or customary they may be, all we hear is “separation of church and state” which, by the way is not in the Constitution, but is one of those untruths that has been repeated so many times that is has the cloak of righteousness.

Where are all the Jews, Christians, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists, Catholics, Bahais, Scientologists, and other religious groups complaining about the public funds being used for foot washing facilities in airports and other public places, and all of the public accommodations we are making for the Muslims…are we afraid of them? I think so! They are vicious murderers…it makes sense to do what they want or you will get your name on the list, right? And building that Mosque in New Jersey in a predominantly Jewish area reminds me of the Nazis marching in Skokie, Illinois…IN YOUR FACE! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? And, by the way, defunding the ACLU by the government would be a step in the right direction in my humble opinion.

Is it that those who scream the loudest win, or those who are right win? You decide.

saddened
As I have read all the posts I am saddened.
It seems we find it more important to be "right" than being united. We spend more time and energy fighting amongst ourselves trying to pass blame and name call, while our enemies make plans to destroy us. Why are we not expressing our anger and frustrations to our local leaders, to our national leaders, and demanding we be heard. Politicians, (All) seem to only care about popularity long enough to get elected into postions of power. We as a people need to wake up, and become united together, and demand changes before it's too late. Before some day we will find the leaders of our country are the enemy, then we can only wish we didn't spend so much time fighting amongst ourselves.

The only thing I was ever hated were people who eat and eat and eat and never gain a pound! I still do, til this day.....

On 911, I asked my co-worker "What's an Al Queda?????" I never really thought anything regarding anyone from the ME. I still gave everyone who is local the benefit of the doubt, but what is worrisome was how well these six assumed normal lives in their community.

If I say that is quite frightening, causes paranoia, it should. If that makes me a racist, a card carrying one, no less---it should not. It just will further heighten my senses.

Anyone Using the MKC Airport

Christian Manfred
Did you not notice the year they came in? It was 1999, while Clinton was in office. Do ya s'pose maybe Slick Willy was constructing a plot of his own to bring down Bush? It makes as much sense as blaming Bush before he was in office, doesn't it?
Open arms should not equal empty head, it's like being a teenager in heat. (It sounded like a good idea at the time...)

OKC
Gunnyc tried to deflect the alignment of Muslims and terror by pointing to OKC. Someone else indicated that they started looking for other McVeigh's, but that none appeared. I happen to know, with certainty, that there were a number of McVeigh's out there at the time and that they planned to attack military bases and infrastructure targets much like the 6 Muslim's in New Jersey.

Several men were arrested in Texas in '97 or '98 with a stockpile of automatic weapons and IED's ("homemade bombs" at the time). Their plan was to go to the July 4th celebration on the nearby air base and kill as many soldiers as possible. Both men were Christian. Oh, they are all out of prison now.

However, the critical distinction between these homegrown terrorists and the Muslim extremists is one of ideology. The fellows I spoke about and McVeigh believed that DC was selling the country down the river, that our government was selling out the citizenry to be governed by the UN. They had e-mails, faxes, newsletters, etc. all explaining this huge conspiracy in great detail. The Muslims have the kind of ferver, however, that is reserved for religious zealots.

What does this all mean? Well, it means that although we do have significant security issues directly resulting from open borders, the homegrown militia's and their conspiracy theories are problems too. We cannot afford to ignore the home grown terrorists just as we cannot afford to ignore those immigrating from other countries. Lock down the borders, find and expel all illegal immigrants - including those that have "only" overstayed their visa's, and root out those citizens who believe violent overthrow of the government is the only option.

Buck
It's MCI not MKC.

Buck: Yep, you did
And I find myself persuaded.

Good catch, my friend.

GunnyG
Hey Gunny,
Are you the same Gunny Gail who used to post over at RightWingNews back in the day?

confused
Ok, this logic train has derailed. It appears, according to the "polls" taken by various news organizations that a majority of those polled are against the war in Iraq and want us to pull out. I don't know the percentages. At one time it was about 52 - 48 against the war and may have gone as lopsided as 60 - 40. It may be worse now, I am not sure. Anyway, all the democrats and even some republicans "in response to the will of the people" are screaming for the U.S. to "redeploy" out of Iraq. Ok, fine. Do what you have to in order to please those that elected you.
Now the logic disconnect. In every poll I have ever seen, a super majority of Americans want the borders closed off the illegal immigration controlled. The numbers I have seen have been as high as 75%. So why are these same politicians NOT closing the borders? Do they think that the votes of the illegals will out ballot the legal U.S. citizens?
Previous posts have already addressed the double standard of spending government money to support Muslim religious practices but trying to eliminate every symbol of Christianity (again a logic disconnect). I won't waste my time trying to speak against that anti-American ideology, since I'd just be speaking to the choir. The U.S. was a Christian nation that was benevolent to others (a Christian teaching). We have lost our way.

VIRGINIA PARTIOT
WELL SAID!

Skywalker: The polls
don't talk about "pulling out" they talk about agreeing with the Bush war policy, which would also by defintion include those -- like myself -- who don't think the wear is being prosecuted vigorously ENOUGH.

Some results:

"Fifty-five percent of 1,004 Americans said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate who has supported Bush administration policies on the war"

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/06/iraq.poll/index.html

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling the situation with Iraq?"

4/25 - 5/1/07
31 Approve
64 Disapprove
5 Unsure

http://www.pollingreport.com/iraq.htm

So you can see the average is till at around 60%, including those who say we should be MORE aggressive.

Well, you sound like you approved of Clinton's plan that he tried to get through after the OKC bombing. You know, demonizing Americans who spoke of the Constitution, anyone who was in a militia, anyone who disagreed with what our public servants in OUR government are doing... PERIOD.

I am originally from Oklahoma and I remember this whole ordeal very well. I remember how an additional man was spoken about, and seen by many, frequently with McVeigh. I remember how the FBI didn't seem to care about this person. Many of the relatives of those killed that day spoke out about them being told to shutup by the government. I heard this on mainstream news. I saw the interviews. This channel was independently-owned since I was a child; however, it quickly was bought up by a major consortium. As soon as it was, you never heard anything opposed to the government story.

Many Oklahomans doubted the story told them. Brigadier-General Partin did too and spoke frequently about it. Here's something for you:
http://independence.net/okc/congressbombreport.htm

ctjaeger
I would imagine you are a strong advocate of the Military Commission bill aren't you? You know, where an American citizen can be picked up and thrown in a prison camp, indefinitely, on a mere accusation. No right to see the evidence against you; no right to a speedy trial. NOTHING.

Yes, I'll bet you really think this is great, don't you?

Welcome to the USSA.

"Last week someone actually posted right here on TH (to me) that he wasn't worried because (okay, get this!) al qaeda was nothing more than a bunch of "goat herders.""

I had an equally inane conversation with a liberal about a month ago.
He casually dismissed the idea that Islamofascists could infiltrate America in significant enough numbers to cause any really substantial damage... because, get this, they're too poor and uneducated to find a way to travel over here, develope a workable plot and then purchase the necessary equipment.
My response? Hmmm, I guess those 9-11 hijackers didn't get the memo.

When Are We Going To Learn?
What is it going to take for this country and all those bleeding heart PC fools to stop playing nice with these people? Another 9/11? Gee guess they forgot about that already. Oh wait, half of them believe it was our own government that did that. Give the PC Brigade a few days and they will be screaming that these scumbags are having thier "rights" abused. Slowly but surely we are losing everything our country was founded on (God for one) and everything our fore-fathers died for, and those that are still fighting for our protection against these people. And I don't want to hear about the oil.. give me a break.. Let them get control of those oil fields and we will be doo-doo fodder. I guess before too long the name United States of America will become Euro America, and following in the shoes of Britain and what they are going through right now. Wake up people and smell the coffee, because if we don't that coffee will turn into acid right before your eyes.

Islam = Terrorism
Islam always preaches "tolerance" when it is in the minority, but when it becomes a majority, its true goal of Islamic theocracy under Sharia law is manifested by force, and infidels either yield or die. It's been well said that the "moderate" Islamic community is strangely silent--consistently silent--to denounce the actions of the "militants" and that should make all liberals wake-up to the fact that Muslims WILL NOT speak out against their brethern. Since actions speak louder than words, the proof is in the pudding: Islam will NEVER bend to melt into the American dream and values. Instead its hideous purpose continues to be revealed--the destruction of America and Western values--by whatever way it can attain those goals. Islam is like cancer: if you don't kill it, it WILL kill you. No matter what CAIR says.

PROTECTING THE BORDERS OF MY HOME

To Dangerous Dave and any others who believe we should not roll over and play dead: hurrah!

What this country needs is a good case of what a relative of mine called "the reds." "The reds" is a case of furious anger. And we need it. We need it directed to those in charge of protecting our borders -- and failing miserably at the job, I might add.

It really never occurred to me that it may someday come down to getting the guns ready to protect my own borders; however, it is becoming increasingly obvious to me that this is what will happen. I surely do not want to be caught in a "spider hole"; I surely do not want to swallow a cyanide pill in some underground bunker. If I go out, I'm going out fighting.

Why don't we tell those people in Washington that they were hired by us to do a job? Are we afraid of them? We shouldn't be: they're effectively our employees. We're paying them to do a job. They're failing.

Jim
The French had long welcomed and tolerated the millions of Muslims into their country. They gave them welfare and all the socialist goodies, but that wasn't enough. Now that they are almost in the majority, the real Islam comes out. The French people finally realized either they do something now, or it would be too late to reclaim their country. The voters spoke Sunday in France. Unfortunately, it will a little longer and more 9/11's for the US and Great Britain to wake up. The Brits are now permitting Sharia law to rule in their courts. What ever happened to the once great Brits?

No, actually, when you make racist statements that blanket a region comprised of much more than Islamists that's when I call you a racist. When you admitted that you've not the context of reference to the region you are denoting something from ignorance. Although Al-Qaeda may have been new to you on 9/10, the group and their ilk aren't so new to people that watched world events.

My apologies for expecting reasoned conjecture from others. It's usually the the liberal screaming anything to avoid the point types that fall outside this circle. When you get past that fixation on behinds you might consider trying real arguments. However, considering your banter so far, I fully expect the next statement out to cover Nazis.

animalgirlisback
animalgirlisback's comments reflect the sad feel-good-about-everyone-except-US-conservatives philosophy that drives - in large part - the danger the liberals pose to our future as a nation where one CAN be free to believe whatever one wants.

She apparently finds it acceptable to "view gay-hating pro-lifers with a bit of extra suspicion", yet no one should feel that way about potential muslim sleepers, whose past terrorist successes justify such suspicion.

She views this article as "despicable...propoganda [sic]", yet clearly believes that the US SHOULD "welcome refugees" and children who might otherwise "die in war zone". How far into logical absurdity does she think we must take that concept? Is it the responsibility of the US to provide safe haven for EVERY human on this planet who - by happenstance - are caught up in the horrors man perpetrates on man? Is she and others of her ilk not aware that would rapidly lead to the demise of this country and all of the good for which it stands?

I'm not a Christian, but have no problems with coexisting with Christianity. She reminds us that "by their [words AND deeds] shall ye know them".

don't talk about "pulling out" they talk about agreeing with the Bush war policy, which would also by defintion include those -- like myself -- who don't think the wear is being prosecuted vigorously ENOUGH.
(snip)
So you can see the average is till at around 60%, including those who say we should be MORE aggressive.
------------------------------
Most discussions I've had about the war end up there. The rules of engagement, the segmented power encapsulation, the zones of influence; they all reflect the same political landscape of Vietnam and provide evidence that politicians are conducting war again instead of leaving war to the experts.

Set a goal, give it to the military, stand clear. If that policy was instituted there wouldn't be people smuggling in weapons to Iraq from the borders, nor would countries like Iran still be preening. America is turning into a paper tiger more each day and our inability to conduct decisiove action is reflective of that fact.

In WWII we had the guts to take care of business and make sure it did not return. Ever since then enemies have feelings and stuff.

"People from the middle east are no different than any other people."

I guess all nations teach their pre-school children the jihadist way and that blowing oneself up for Allah is honorable. The more people you take out with you, the more Allah will reward you. CNN, not exactly your right-wing network, had a program on just that last night. It showed a teacher, dressed as Mickey Mouse addressing the children, talking about boom-boom, you go to heaven.

Yeah, you are right Fivo. That is exactly what my teacher taught me when I was 4.

Good Ol Boy
No. I've never heard of that site. Worth checking out?

Fivo: Right on!
To use that old Vietnam-era lingo.

If you have not done so, give a read to "milestones", the Islamic Mein Kampf. Pretty scary how they will do anything to gain the upper hand, including false peace treaties (to regroup and rearm), etc. Anything to gain power...kinda like the Dhimmicrats!

Doing Something About It
Every time I see people obsess about "the 200X election being the most important" I wonder whether the right of citizenship to steer the state only applies once in a few years, when we're graciously allowed to pop that placebo for the civic conscience, in the voting booth.

What do we the people do the rest of the time? Like now, when we got the umpteenth reminder that we are one failed reporting away from some of our brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, sons, daughters or friends getting their lives and dreams cut short by the followers of an alien death-cult?

Some would have us become so fatalistic as to consider this an inevitability that we'll just have to live with while becoming desensitized towards it. Let's not forget free will--both the terrorists' and ours.

Let's look at things soberly but actively, since the time to be complacent and wish for the sun to shine is well past us. As I see it, we have three options:

1 - Keep idealistically throwing great ideas into the ring (expelling illegals, stopping Muslim immigration, instituting tougher profiling, etc.) while our Government doesn't even have the fortitude to enforce *existing* laws, let alone pass new ones that make sense.

2 - Keep hoping that *if* we find the right politician, *if* the media don't get to destroy him before he even runs, *if* he wins the next election, *if* he doesn't sell us out once in Washington, *if* he can build a consensus and *if* the courts agree with his decisions--things may get better by a small percentage.

3 - Start getting together, getting organized and ACTING--within the law but forcefully and decisively, while we still have the liberties to do so.

I'm for actively pursuing option 3, while keeping the other two viable. Three or four millions of us rallying both in Washington and in our respective home-states, drawing a line in the sand and demanding change WILL get some attention, I guarantee you.

Those who will ever get it have already done so; those who haven't never will. It's time to act. Together, in person, with good leadership and with justice and conviction.

I have another one for you. recall the anthrax attacks?

I recall when the anthrax attacks here first occurred, there were similar attacks in Pakistan in November of 2001. Suddenly, when the FBI declared it was a domestic terrorist, those attacks vanished form all the stories. It was only in the US.

I do note they still haven't found the "domestic terrorist" who sent that anthrax. Though they did find anthrax labs in Afghanistan. (Admittedly, primitive ones, but if the research was going on, who is to say there were not better labs that were not found?)

But it could not be al Qaida. Nope. was all just some disgruntled germ warfare worker, who went to Pakistan to mail some letters after sending some in the US. (Though convicting him has proven remarkably difficult. As has finding any evidence against him.)

Not normally prone to conspiracy theories, but the forgotten Pakistani anthrax attacks always bothered me. I figured it was part of the "religion of peace" whitewash, the FBI's insistence it could be anyone but an Islamic terrorist. Even though mailed anthrax coming shortly after 9/11 in the US and Pakistan would suggest the opposite to most people.

(I always wondered if he just kept the anthrax around for a rainy day, then 9/11 hit and he said "It's time" and decided to mail it out. That is what the FBI theory suggests.)

I just had a moment to go back through the threads. This my friends is why we are in the trouble we are in now. We put up with this kind of stuff over and over again while OUR rights are being stepped on, and our beliefs are being trashed. Excuse me LD, but if we were to go live in their country you can bet your wee bippy that we would not be allowed to exercise our ways in their country. And we didn't make them feel welcome? Are you on something? I see the wheel, but the hamster looks dead.... I am not giving up my belief in God, my flag, my guns, my right to say exactly what I want for no one, nor am I going to bend one iota to make some Allah worshipper feel he/she has been offended. Tough! If you don't like the way this country is, then get the hell out of dodge dude.

Now who is the double faced monster here !

Until the Zionist instigated war in Middle East is defeated, both financially and militarily, this unfortunate scourge of indivisual terrorist acts will not cease. When the mutts start hightailing from the wrong neiborhood to cheap booze and 1/2 naked bimbos at home , Jihadis will not rest.

Your last post betting that I am for the governments right to throw me into a camp with no view of the evidence is a bit ludicrous. I said nothing of the sort.

I am philosophically torn over where to draw the line between personal freedoms and my right to life. My argument was that there are US citizens who vocally advocate the violent overthrow of the US government. They, like McVeigh, have the moral scruples of most terrorists, that is, they don't have any moral scruples. The resulting question is how are these people dealt with versus foreign terrorists? Are a US citizens rights conferred to a foreign enemy combatant?

I'll tell you that when I was in the field, my enemy had no rights. Either I took him out or he took me out. Since I'm still here, I guess I was either luckier than him or simply better trained.

I read the columns and posts here (and elsewhere) in the hopes that someone can provide a novel way of looking at these difficult issues so that I have another angle to explore intellectually. Your drivel offers nothing other than rabid fanatacism and is absolutely worthless. Democracy is an evolving form of government, the answers for all of the issues we confront as a society are not readily available nor clearly defined. As a rational, thinking human being and citizen of the USA, I simply want to come to my own conclusion based on my interpretation of the facts.

If you can provide some intelligent points of view on any subject, please do so. Otherwise, just move on.

Animalgirlisback
Please, pack your flawed analogies and take them back to the playground of your facile ideology.

If you think that a series of democratic initiatives on Gay marriage not going your way equate to what our homosexual friends would (and do) endure under Sharia law, you need to write less and read more.

Or try foisting "Heather Has Two Mommies" upon a Muslim primary school, say, in Islamabad or Ryad--let's see how many heads you would have on your neck on your way back from that experience.

Every nation and culture has its values, sometimes rooted in religion; and changing them overnight is seldom possible and often unhealthy.

Some Christians may grumble about homosexuals (especially the in-your-face types), but their grumbling is perfectly within the confines of civilized behavior: the fact that you have a right to exist and practice a lifestyle does not extend to my obligation to like you and accommodate your lifestyle--you'll have to earn that, especially when it goes against tradition.

And in the sad cases when people's actions exceeded the law, our court system worked quickly and justly to prosecute those committing the actions.

So, again, please keep the flawed analogies for a high-school level debate--this is a much better venue than that.

Yes, the level of stupidity is truly staggering. Take Only Truth's idiocy for example...

Voltaire
You stated that you were for organizing and demonstrating for what we wanted. I couldn't agree more. However, it seems to me that the tendency is for people to withdraw from society at large into groups of similar belief.

I have wondered why so many "reasonable" people don't take the actions we see so many mentally disturbed taking? Fred Phelps anyone? I see the rallies on May 1st, the anti-war or "peace" rallies, anti/pro-abortion, etc. However, I don't see any kind of demonstration for responsibility in government. I don't see any massive grouping of individuals insisting that our government simply enforce the laws that are already on the books rather than devising new laws that address the same issue. Why is that?

Does it have something to do with those being the "silent majority"? Do they feel disenfranchised or disillusioned by the state of our governance? I don't know, but I would certainly like to hear some peoples thoughts on the matter.

Good Ol Boy
The dimwit you mention is a troll on an unmoderated site (even though I doubt he knows what that means). Just be sure not to feed him...

Anyway, y'all should drop by to visit sometime.

Jaeger,
Yes, that is indeed a baffling question. Perhaps its answer lies in the fact that most of us have real jobs, families, mortgages to pay and function relatively well by playing by the rules.

Thus we may not have as much time on our hands as, say, a few thousands socially dysfunctional aging hippies getting naked together and spelling "Bush For Peace" in a large field.

But, as I said, it doesn't have to stay this way--and in light of the acceleration of events in the last few years, it shouldn't.

Don't worry Voltaire...
I'll refrain from indulging the troll from now on.

I couldn't agree more. Things need to change.

Voltaire
Yeah, having been to many lands, it always amazes how these spoiled American libs are. Everything they hate about this country is ten times worse anywhere else in the world. They complain about the poverty-stricken, and they have no idea what poverty is. Making minimum wage in America is not poverty by any standards. As a matter of fact, millions come here and are glad to make minimum wage to have a chance at the American dream. As you pointed out, they complain about American intolerance of homosexuals. In most countries, there is zero tolerance for such perversion. They say we are responsible for global warming. Yet, we are nowhere close to China and India when it comes to CO2 emissions. We spend more money on fighting pollution than all other countries combined. We welcome people from all over the world, in numbers no other country can match, providing they don’t try to kill us, and still we are the evil ones. Absolutely amazing!

Terrorists & Liberals
The Islamofacists kill in Iraq and the liberals here cheer, the liberals win elections here and the Islamofacists cheer. I know who the enemy is and I am prepared to fight both foreign and domestic enemies of our Republic. Keep your powder dry, your barrel clean, and the mechanism well oiled. Don't forget to have plenty of ammo on hand, because our current government is part of the problem.

ctjaeger & Voltaire
You don't have to be professional protesters like these worthless libs to make a difference. Jumping around in the street with signs cannot stack up to the check book and the ballot box. Those are the only two things that really matters to policy makers, money and votes. And, since the majority of Americans are conservatives, we should win every time if we only get off our duffs once every four years.

Hound, Caliber
Loud and clear, my friends, loud and clear.

Hound
The only crease I could spot in your argument is that even winning an election does not guarantee that the person elected won't stop delivering the goods and start playing the DC-insider, professional-politician's game. This is why I posted what I posted above: let's be heard en masse *while* doing our best to win elections and influence policy with good proposals.

Coming out of our collective basements once in four years is no longer enough, when we have that "acceleration of events" I spoke about earlier, and when we have opponents and enemies working *every day* against us.

Hate
If they can tell you who you can hate...they can also tell you who to love...don't you just love GW Bush's America!

animalgirl and other female pro-Islamist
Here's what Sharia law says about adultery as an example
"For unmarried men and women, the punishment prescribed in the Qur'an and hadith is 100 lashes.[13]

Similarly, under Sharia a woman who is raped must produce four male eyewitnesses (or 8 female ones, since 2 females equal one male witness) to prove she did not commit adultery. The "four witness" standard comes from the Qur'an itself, a revelation Muhammad announced in response to accusations of adultery leveled at his wife, Aisha: "Why did they not produce four witnesses? Since they produce not witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah." [14]"

That's their law.

Unbelievable
Are we starting to get mad yet?

I'm waiting for the spinners to blame this on George Bush for angering and provoking them, and creating more terrorists by his actions. That's how turned around we have become.

Oh, and
When I say "rallying" I don't mean taking a few signs and protesting.

I mean descending on Washington and our state capitals in such overwhelming numbers and with such perfect (yet peaceful) organization and discipline that it will be impossible to ignore the potential impact we could have if things really went down the tube.

And at that point, we could make our few but non-negotiable demands--which ironically are in great part on the books already.

Our politicians, bureaucrats, media--and our enemies--need to see the awesome swell of the American people when they unite. Before that, too, becomes "hate speech."

As some have mentioned i also read the 3rd terrorist. Let me state i'm not a conspiracy person. I think oswald may have just been lucky. One story from the book. A young girl is in the Murrah building lobby. A rider truck pulls in and next thing she knows shes buried under rubble. She's trapped enough that a doctor has to cut her arm off to get her out. As her an the doctor are trying to decide how to get her out they get to talking. He says did you see what happened? She says i saw the truck pull up and 2 guys got out and took off. One was a white guy the other was a middleastern looking man. Maybe she had a reason to make this up but i cant think of one. Also i saw the coverage shortly after it happened and the 1st reports mentioned a middle eastern man. You can get the book at the library and see for yourself. Its a good read.

You are right. We Dont Have to Fight them OVER HERE!!! We caught them, haven't you heard? This president wasn't getting BJ's while the terrorists were plotting.

If these guys would have been able to pull this off, the body count would have been enormous. Military bases are generally "gun free zones" where gun control is strict. Only the MP's have weapons, unless you count the guys at the armory where these muzzzies would have likely avoided. I'm thinking the body count could have been in the hundreds before any tangible force could be applied to the situation.

LOL. Look at it this way, my friend, at least the troll (left angle) is actually acknowledging that these guys were conspiring to commit a terrorist act.
I'm sure that DU/Ko$ will be spinning this incident as an example of America's xenophobic attitude towards Middle Easterners and painting those six would-be butchers as saints in a day or two. Moonbats = Useful Idiots.

bostguy 112: "what is funny about any of this?"

#1: The terrorists lack of intelligence.
#2: Left Angle himself

In fact, these terrorists are so dumb, I think their best defense would be to say they "did it for the lols."

Houndog...for your info
the fbi and cia have testified before congress that there are many dormant terrorist cells
here in the U.S. as we speak..

thats why the mantra.."fight them over there so we dont have to fight them over here" is totally absurd, yet you repubs/cons eat up this bs...

Left Angle...
Left Angle -

Man, I'm sure you're right that there are dormant terrorist cells in the U.S. However, if we weren't fighting the majority of them "over there," then what would they be doing?

A question...lof..
how do you know the majority of them are
over there?

Hey, Left Angle
Sure, we conservatives may eat up BS about fighting them over there so we don't have to over here.

You, however, wouldn't fight them here, there, nor anywhere, but instead talk their ears (and ours) to death while explaining their countless murders of "infidels" all over the world as America's fault.

It's very telling that it's often impossible to pick apart your party's rhetoric from that of Bin Laden, Al Zawahiri, Al Sadr, Ahmadinejad and their merry bands of barbarians.

The world must really look rose-colored through the walls of your own small intestine.

Are you joking?
"how do you know the majority of them are

landofconfusion
Landofconfusion, you got it. Just because you have most of the roaches in one room of your house, it doesn’t mean there aren’t one or two roaches in the other rooms. What you do is fumigate the room with the most roaches, and use your fly swatter to kill the few that is left in the other rooms.

Voltaire SoS..
and your comments come straight from the Bush/Cheney/Rice RNC Propaganda Handbook of stock answers when "debating" dems/libs on Iraq.
(SOS) stands for same ole "sh*t)

To say that anyone that disagrees with Bush on Iraq is "aiding and abetting the enemy or an anti-american traitor" is just plain stupid.
So keep up with your bs far right wing rhetoric because the american people aint buying it anymore. Midterms should have taught you tone deaf idiots something...

You have a very unpoplular prez and war on your hands and yet you persist in "staying the course until we win" (whatever the heck that means) and you really dont care how many american soldiers get killed in the process. When will the Iraqis stand up for themselves? why are we spending billions training arming and supplying them if you repubs/cons think the wont fight for democracy?

If american soldiers are still fighting in Iraq by 2008 you repubs
might as well handn over the keys to the whitehouse. then this unneccesary wasteful war in Iraq will be put to and end as the vast majorityof the american people want.

Cuz of my edumacation
lol Hound Dog... it's true.

And Left Angle, I know that most of the terrorists are "over there" because I have common sense. This mysterious force I possess to some capacity tells me that since the majorty of Muslim's are from the Middle East, and Iraq/Afghanistan is in the Middle East, and the majority of terrorists are Muslim's, that there must be more of "them" "over there."

Liberals...
They remind me of those battered women who blame themselves every time they get a black eye, thus becoming meeker, weaker and (amazingly) more emotionally dependent on the persons giving them the beating.

"Maybe if I cooked more and made myself prettier for him more often, he wouldn't beat me. It's my fault, that poor darling, he's is forced to put up with me, my ugly wrinkles and my fat thighs."

All the while, to those trying to defend them and stand up for their rights they get vicious, channeling all their pent-up anger towards them in fits of irrational madness.

Look at Pelosi, her behavior towards Assad and that of her constituency towards the military, and voila', here's it all explained. This is why I don't even bother debating them, unless I can take a cheap and easy shot at them (which is hard to resist).

I wish we could "fight them in California so we wouldn't have to fight them over here in DC."

left angle
I don't get the impression that Voltaire, Hound Dog, and Good Ol Boy are neocons. They sound like conservative patriots. So the background noise I'm hearing from you is just like a fly that's buzzing against the screen.

Voltaire
Fine Analogy.

Lynne
The old-fashioned commonsense you speak is of course spot-on, as always.

However, we live in a world in which for a good half of America, truth and reality are negotiable and relative concepts that depend on our "selves" and the way we emote rather than from facts independent of our persons and perspectives.

Thus, the objective reality you and I describe will be dismissed as "this is true only for you" at best, with the likely coda of "and you only think this because you've been lied to/buy into propaganda/have been programmed by Karl Rove/are unenlightened/live in Flyover country," etc. etc.

This is why I divide interlocutors into two basic categories: those who can get it (and who can persuade the rational side of me), and those who can't and never will. With the former, I talk and listen. With the latter, I ignore and mock. It's a lot more fun and time-efficient, I find.

Left Angle: A bit of military strategy
for you, since you seem to not have any.

It's called a multi-front war. The idea is that you tie the enemy up as much as possible to stretch his resources. You may be amazed to know that we have people actually on the ground in Afghanistan, too. And guess what? All of these guys are killing bad guys. So that is a bunch of dead bad guys who won't be here, plus another bunch of not-yet-dead bad guys who also won't be here.

See how that works?

Liberals won't
Lynne, Liberals won't come together with Conservatives and the majority of Liberal politicians really do not seem to care if the terrorists attack us again. Right now, they're scoring political points to some extent by being anti-U.S, and that's all that matters to them. Regular Liberals aren't really anti-U.S at heart I believe, they're just mindlessly following people like Reid and Pelosi.

Good Grief!

"LD is a satirist, all tongue in cheek. IMHO, one of the best I've read".

Thanks Virgina Patriot and Brian for pointing that out! I have been so livid over these recent events, I think my eyes are crossed!

JK: Don't feel bad
He gets EVERYONE who doesn't already know, because he's got it absolutely nailed!

Aw to heck with em...
Let's just forcibly Christianize the whole lot of them - Muslim and Democrat alike - and be done with it.

Sry Lynne, but ur wrong here
When they say "Death to America," what the really mean is death to "a merry cah (car. think "Bostonian accent")." Liberals are not brainwashed and are clearly correct on that issue Lynne. It's a common misconception, and what the religion of peace's followers truly mean is lost in translation. Merry cars are an abomination, because everyone knows cars don't have souls and cannot and should not be merry. With all the cloning and whatnot going on, no one can blame them for being concerned.

You should just be glad the Liberals are wise enough to realize this, and aren't in the fog like Conservative's who blindly follow whatever their politicians say.

Still don't believe? This is what they're really up against.

Tanabear, wake up and smeel the coffee
Pakistan has nuclear weapons it has the means to deliver them. Iran will be in the very same stratigic position.

Well, Lynne, funny you should ask
As a matter of fact, yes, those are actually things you learn about when you're in the military. Which is a very good thing, coincidentally, as it comes in very handy on the battlefield to be versant in that type of trivia because it happens to be the kind of knowledge one can use to keep one from getting one's arse blown off.

Most military people consider that a "good outcome", by the way.

And you also raised another very good point. The best overall strategy for winning a war has traditionally been considered for the politicians to make the go/no go decision, select a commander on the ground who is actually located in the Area of Operations (AO), set his mission parameters, give him his supplies, troops, and equipment, and then surprisingly enough leave it up to him to actually conduct the activities in the field, such activities to include how to defend his positions and allocate his troops to find and destroy the opponent, who is usually known as "the enemy".

The AO commander, of course, reports to his superiors, who report to the Command Authority, up the line to the Commander in Chief, also known as "The President".

Funny, but no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to find Congress in that chain of command anywhere.

Perhaps I'll have to try harder.

Thank you for your question, Lynne, and this opportunity to educate our fellow posters a bit.

Pakistan
Pakistan isn't really a threat though, Pakistan appeared to have actually gotten their weapons to protect themself. They are, after all, the only country who is somewhat our ally around Afghanistan (can't count Iraq just yet in my opinion), and the fact that they have nukes is probably the only thing that spares then Iran's strong dissaproval.

I don't think Pakistan, though behind the Palestinian's, ever intends/intended to use their nukes against Isreal either. India was more concerned than they were, if you remember what happened when Pakistan tested its nukes. Pakistan is only a threat if Musharif is done away with, in favor of a taliban-like government, which could happen if Pakistan doesn't work closer with the American's to fight the terrorists who sit on the Pakistani side of the boarder.

And sorry for the weird post above =P I just had a friend of mine who did the same thing as the "lib" in Lynne's story, and when I mentioned the whole car crap he actually realized what I was saying is true and might be progressing to becoming a Conservative somewhat because of it. Only time I can say I ever really changed someones mind like that, in a little argument. Sometimes being rediculous or stupid, puts it to light.

First time I read one of his posts, I was nearly apoplectic. Might have been the reason I decided to start commenting, come to think of it.

Well, I gave you a link to a report from Brigadier General Partin, who is an explosives expert. Wasn't that good enough for you?

"I am philosophically torn over where to draw the line between personal freedoms and my right to life."

Ok, well while you're philosophizing about this, please understand your opinion does not override the Constitution.

"Your last post betting that I am for the governments right to throw me into a camp with no view of the evidence is a bit ludicrous. I said nothing of the sort."

Well, this comment of yours reminded me so very much of Clinton's talk after the OKC bombing.

"Well, it means that although we do have significant security issues directly resulting from open borders, the homegrown militia's and their conspiracy theories are problems too. We cannot afford to ignore the home grown terrorists just as we cannot afford to ignore those immigrating from other countries. Lock down the borders, find and expel all illegal immigrants - including those that have "only" overstayed their visa's, and root out those citizens who believe violent overthrow of the government is the only option."

"Are a US citizens rights conferred to a foreign enemy combatant?"

No, but the Military Commissions Act applies to AMERICANS too. Now, they may not have meant to word it so loosely that it does, but the fact is that it does. Americans can be arrested on the whim of the President alone and thrown in a secret prison camp and detained indefinitely. Now, supposedly at some point when they are allowed to "prove" they are American, they will then be allowed to be tried in a civilian court. I wonder how many years will go by? By the way, I didn't dream this up myself, I read articles about it from Constitutional scholars, one of them who worked in Reagan's administration.

"If you can provide some intelligent points of view on any subject, please do so. Otherwise, just move on."

I do my best to back up my points. In fact, I usually include links in a great deal of my posts. It is not my intention to be "fanatic" as you say, but some of the things going on in this country are pretty wild, jaeger. If you choose to categorize them as such, that is your option.

I'll play, since your last post was fair, save for one point in which I think you miss by a long shot a basic trait of many of us on the right.

George W. Bush, far from being a cult leader for me--or indeed for a great number of us Conservatives here on TH and mostly elsewhere--has caused us some major headaches.

Firstly, he has thumbed his nose to his base (and even beyond) by stubbornly abdicating his responsibility to keep our borders secure, and by appearing to heed the needs of Vincente Fox more than those of us who elected him.

Next, he has failed rather spectacularly to articulate the casus belli in regards to the Iraq war, which has weakened the whole Conservative cause as a result.

Sure. I could tell you our casus belli, as well as most of us who post on TH--but we are "active" news-seekers and not the general public, and the general public should not be kept in the dark.

And lastly, but certainly not least importantly, he has signed the McCain-Feingold bill into law, which he knew to be unconstitutional, washing his hands in the hope that the Courts would do the dirty work for him--which they didn't.

And the general point is this.

See, in general, idolizing politicians, save for great ones long dead (e.g. George Washington) or for the rare ones we remember as high-achievers in our lifetime (e.g. Reagan), is not in the Conservatives' style. And even in these cases, we do so with caution and with a good grain of salt.

For example, no Conservative would tout Reagan as a strong president on immigration policies.

That's part of the Conservative DNA, if you will. Politicians are like plumbing systems--there to do their job as discretely and non-intrusively as possible, while keeping their distinctive aroma out of our lives and, most importantly, without becoming the centerpiece of our "home." ;-)

BTW
Never forget that the Jihadists are not the only doofuses out to destroy the United States of America.

Anyone who thinks the Cold War is over just 'cause the USSR disbanded if fooling himself!

The Central American Commies are picking up where the KGB left off, and if anyone thinks the original KGB turned into a bunch of nice guys who hold hands and sing "Kumbaya," you are mistaken.

The Duka Bros. and Co remind us that the Islamic Terror threat has not gone away just because we make Granny take off her shoes at the airport.

But MayDay 2007, and the limp-wristed caving in to the Commie Subversives that our local goverment demonstrated this week reminds us that we are being squeezed on more than one front.

And the extremist Left who hijacked the Democrat(ick) Party is cahoots with them both, participating in destroying the country from within!

Lynne confused me
Are you joking about the joke I made after I got your joke about what you said? Or are you serious???

I don't think Conservatives blindly follow politicians Lynne, I was bein' sarcastic. Totally sarcastic, not like I am now, now I'm being serious. O_O

Virginia Patriot - America's Future
Well Put!!

Is it me...?
Or are the terrorist always just plain "dumb." Why is it that, over the course of a full year, they can put together these extensive and elaborate plans; figure out how to beat military security systems; obtain maps of our bases; figure out how to obtain high-power weapons, or make the bombs out of ordinary supplies, or whatever. Then they do something totally stoooopid like asking someone they don't really know at a local Circuit City store to transfer a jihadi video tape (with them on it!) to DVD. Why didn't they just buy a vhs machine (what, like $39. at Walmart) and transfer it themselves on a computer?????? DUH??? It's like the bank robber who tries to rob his own bank by writing the robery note on the back of his own deposit slip. I just don't get it. If these bastages ever get "smart", we all better watch out. If it wasn't so damn serious an issue it would make for great comedy - a regular Monty Python skit!

Stix

Movie cast
Stix, I think the word you're looking for is "hapless," and they are.

Even though it is a serious issue, I still say they make it into a comedy movie. Of course, they'd make the terrorists white neo-Nazi's for some reason.

-Deep "movie preview guy" voice-

"In a world, where gun-wielding maniacs still use VHS and don't understand DVD's... one man, one store... will fight.

Featuring: The Govornator, as the "Store clerk."

-Cut away to Arnold grinning behind a counter wearing a red Circuit City vest with no T-shirt under it-

Dane Cook, as the "scout"

-Cut away to Dane Cook dressed up in pizza delivery guy garb, comeplete with "sailors" hat, driving around Fort Dix, in his rusty pizza delivery car, takinng pictures, with an evil smile-

Will Farrel, as "the hapless ring leader"

-Cut away to Farrel dressed as an elf, trying to deceive military personel into letting him steal documents "for Santa."-

And... this Summer, (Hardcore metal song starts playing) BOBBY, THE LITTLE CIRCUIT CITY STOCK BOY, as "THE STOCK BOY"

Coming to a theater near you, July 2008.

Witness the terror. Witness the insanity.

This is simple
Round up all of the illegal aliens whether they be Mexican or anything else and deport them the hell out of here!!! Seal off all borders!!! Reform immigration and actually enforce the immigration laws and kick the visa over stays out!!! If we would just enforce new stricter immigration laws this will not be a problem!!! But we can't expect that from President Bush who kisses the butt of every illegal alien in this country and those idiot Democrats who are in congress so let's make sure we don't vote for the same fools in 08.

Simple
How many mosque's are housing illegal aliens?
One who dares call himself a centurion should at least have a sword to fall upon. This false centurion has no sword and pays fealty to wimps.

Other Goings On ...
News flash folks...we are told in today's reports that more and more churches are declaring "sanctuary" for illegals! How do you like them apples? We've got churches interfering with government...then they complain when the government "interferes" with them. Sure is a convoluted mess isn't it? I'm wondering: since law enforcement CAN enter churches to arrest someone - WHY THE HE[[ AREN'T THEY DOING IT?

The only poster on here that has made the best sense and with whom I totally agree is THE LAST CENTURION. We need to actually do what this country has always stood for - PROTECT America and Americans. Round up the illegals - no matter who they are - and run them out of Dodge!

We DO need to march on Washington and let those political pimps KNOW EXACTLY WHERE WE STAND. If we don't, only the left-wing lugnuts are heard. Ballot boxes are NOT being used (unfortunately) as they should be - TO VOTE THESE BRAIN DEAD DEMONCRAPS OUT, ALONG WITH A FEW OF THEIR RINO "BUDDIES"! ANYBODY WHO ISN'T FOLLOWING OR ENFORCING THE LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE ON THE BOOKS OUGHT TO BE SENT PACKING.

Animalgirl and Left Angle, your posts are pathetically ignorant and nasty. Your parents must be soooooo proud of you. It must be really tough walking around in circles, especially with your head up your backsides.

DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE...
HERE'S A SITE FOR NUMBERSUSA...go there and sign their petition on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION! Stop complaining and DO SOMETHING!!! PASS ON TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Shells
I was a bit busy here on the fringes of the empire. I had brought up the Oklahoma city bombing to point out your xenophobic attitude.
Bucause of six wannabe's that don't look like you, all immigrants are now making you go scared enough to hide in your shell.

FIVO -Pegged you right on.

No Guards-people in Kansas?
Where did you get that non-sense.

Here are some facts:
The Kansas National Guard has 361 soldiers and 114 airmen on duty in response to the Greensburg tornado, in addition to four command vehicles, plus generators and light sets to support emergency operations. Eight other Guardsmen are assisting authorities in Elwood with levee security.

Was it MSM, CNN, Slate?

jessicalange
"Weren't we told we were fighting them over there so as not to have to fight them here? And really, what about "following us home" if we leave Iraq?"

I really wish people had some common sense but I'll explain it anyway.

By fighting them over there we suck resources from them.
Examples:
1. Manpower
1a. Fighters
2b. Leaders
3c. Skilled Specialists i.e. bomb makers etc...
2. Funds($)
2a. Training
2b. Procurement i.e. bomb making material
2c. Mission Support

There are more examples but, you should have the point. This greatly affects how they use their limited resources. Notice how these individuals are pretty much no more than dangers buffoons with little resources and direction to complete their intended mission. One major reason for this is because of where they are being forced to expend their valuable resources, as stated above.

We have the advantage in resources so, fighting a multi front war benefits us however, we also have much more to defend. By forcing them to stretch their resources we keep them from easily organizing in a cohesive manner to strike targets far away from the bases.

Unfortunately the action we take do not eliminate all possibility that terrorists will not try to strike us in the U.S. What it does is make it much more difficult to do effectively which, as in the case you are complaining proves my point.

Really wish it was that simple, if we attack them there they would never attack us here. Unfortunately you live on planet earth and you have to take these things into account.

jessicalange
Oh.. Before I forget.. The Kansas National Guard Commander, when asked said "We have more than enough resources at hand to do the job"

Trying to create controversy when there is none as with this stupid governor you quoted is typical lib tactic. So that is 2 silly comments by you in one post. You should quit. I'm sure if you post more it will only get worse.

NAU could be reason
Bush won't secure the boarders, because contrary to what Medved said yesterday, I srongly believe he wants to establish some kind of North American Union to some degree.

Look at the evidence:

Highway to Mexico.
Plans to secure Mexico's southern boarder, but no plan to secure our 2 boarders.

And more, just google North American Union. After reading a lot about it I admit that, as UNBELIEABLE as it is, it appears to be reality. If Bush really doesn't want an NAU then he should come out today or tomorrow and say so while Conservatives are concerned about it. Even a person within his admin denying it would be something.

Here's a few of the dangers of an NAU, if it came to fruition:

#1: Establishment of laws above our Federal system, which would necesitate the establishment of a continental court, above the supreme court.
#2: Establishment of "the Amero" currency.
#3: Canada and Mexico are both poorer than us, so a currency merge is automatically negative for us.
#4: Canada is much more Liberal than the U.S, just watch CBC (worse than BBC in my opinion).
#5: Mexico is much more religious than the U.S, but it also has a ton of Communists. In the last presidential race there the Communist mayor of Mexico City had a very good chance of winning (thankfully he did not).

The benefits of this is that there would be only one entry point to guard to protect all 3 nations, save the oceanside, and maybe a few other things that I just don't see at the moment.

War of the Worlds...
... is a distince part of our future!

We've got every nationality and belief system in the world represented in these United States. Those of us who were born and raised here to respect our laws and our country are rapidly being replaced. Our votes are rapidly being replaced with those of "special" interests and those who back and support them.

Our USA is going to exist no longer for our kids and grandkids if WE don't DO something and DO IT SOON!

This is a quote from AmericanCongressForTruth.com. which was founded by a muslim woman turned Christian and who escaped from "over there" and resides here. She has spent and is spending her life in trying to WAKE UP AMERICANS LIKE US!

"Jihad will come to the United States due to "Muslim men inside the U.S., (the latter) adhering to the Islamist ideology of jihad, preparing for war on the streets of America."

I think jessicalange is in very serious denial of the truth smacking her square in the face ... apparently, she's still in lala land with a vat of Kool-Aid at her disposal! Been keeping company too long with Fivo, I'll bet.

Oops
"distince" should be "distinct". Sheesh. No spell-check or any nifty accoutrements on this site! I'm spoiled. So what?

Jihad Anyone?

Here's an article y'all should read. I voted for Bush twice, but if he doesn't veto THIS, he ought to have his arse kicked clear back to reside next to Vicente Fox in Mexico!!!!

You're right.

Phyllis Schlafly's has a page full of links about the NAU on her website:

The thing is... I'm wondering if we are creating more new terrorists by our current foreign policy, than we are killing.
