Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

According to the criminal complaint, they laughed at our troops getting maimed and killed. They soaked up Osama bin Laden's evil rants. They studied the 9/11 hijackers' last wills and testaments. They contemplated infiltrating our armed forces to frag soldiers from the inside. They relished the thought of spilling American blood on American soil. Is yours boiling yet?

"My intent is to hit a heavy concentration of soldiers," Jordanian-born naturalized U.S. citizen Mohamad Shnewer is quoted telling the plotters. "You hit four, five, six humvees and light the whole place [up] and retreat completely without any losses."

Eight years ago, at the Clinton administration's behest, this nation welcomed refugees escaping a genocidal regime whose military spread fear and brutalized its people. Eight years later, we have a homegrown jihad plot targeting a base that symbolizes the best, the brightest and the most compassionate our military has to offer.

And what is the Muslim community doing to condemn the accused traitors in our midst? Carping about the government's actions to stop jihad in its tracks:

"If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law," said Muslim lawyer Sohail Mohammed. "But when the government says 'Islamic militants,' it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous.'"

The thanks we get, huh?

Jihadists Exploit Our Hospitality .....
Michelle, I'm not sure Americans are yet ready and willing to accept the truth about the dangers we face. Far, far too many Americans have become too comfortable, too apathetic - and have less and less concern about what government is doing. Maybe we should ALL be forced to read our Constitution and our Declaration of Independence - incredibly well-written civic documents in history.

More of us have to WAKE UP! and realize that we MUST stand up and reclaim our government - NOT just from Democrats, silly! The so-called Republican Party has been falling to the Left more and more - and too many true Americans take time and effort to notice. We are exhorted to stand up and fight back:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object
evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--"

Above was taken verbatim from the Declaration of Independence. It seems to me that groups like the Minutemen are following this exhortation - but even they will not succeed UNLESS AND UNTIL more of us are willing to stand up with them against a government which is abandoning our own Constitution in favor of "globalization".

I suggest the following article for the education of those who don't believe it can happen here....there are four parts to this - the link is to Part 1. (copy and paste to browser address bar)

I have contacted a number of expert columnists and all of us have the same concerns: HOW DO WE AWAKEN AMERICANS FROM WHAT I HAVE TERMED THEIR "COLLECTIVE COMA OF COMPLACENCY" and make them stand up and fight back! Muslims have total freedom of expression of their religion - to the point of airports giving them foot basins. Christians can be arrested for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a public place! DOES THIS SOUND LIKE AMERICA TO YOU?

Why do Economist Lie?
Middle class feels squeezed, lawmakers told

This is the point I have been making about why real wages are going down. This is how the government and ECONOMIST have been hiding the number for years post the failed trade and immigration policy. They count the increase cost the employers pay for health insurance as part of your raise. Yet everyone who pays for health insurance (other than CONGRESS) has seen their contribution go up (co-pays and monthly payment) and coverage go down. At the end of the day the government calls this an increase in your real wages.

How much of an issue will be the middle class squeeze be in 08?

AJC-Cultural and economic changes are causing middle-class American families to feel squeezed despite their rising incomes, witnesses told a Senate committee Thursday.

“This is not your father’s middle class,” Scott Hodge, president of the Tax Foundation, a nonpartisan research group, told the Senate Finance Committee at a hearing on “Can the Middle Class Make Ends Meet?”

Their raises are not reflected just as take-home pay on their paychecks, noted Gary Burtless, an economist at the Brookings Institution.

counted as compensation by federal statisticians, he said. The same applies to employer pension contributions. So while average annual compensation for a full-time U.S. worker increased by nearly $3,000 between 2000 and 2005, only $849 of that showed up as a wage increase.

That’s one reason “a majority believes the middle class is worse off even though average incomes have improved,” Burtless told the senators. “How many people know how much their employer is spending on insurance for them?”
