Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Let me sum up in two words how the unhinged Left copes with the threat of global jihad: "Kill Bush!"

On the fifth anniversary week of the September 11 attacks, the anger of entertainment industry liberals and anti-war zealots is directed not at Islamic terrorists telling us to convert or die. Not at American al Qaeda operative Adam Gadahn smirking at our country's pain and praising the throat-slitting, children-incinerating hijackers as "strong-willed men."

No, their thoughts are not focused on killing jihadists. Their dreams lie with killing George W. Bush. The mainstreaming of presidential assassination chic is on.

In her new book, "Peace Mom," Cindy Sheehan confesses on page 29 that she has imagined going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush in order to prevent the Iraq War. It's the moonbat version of pre-emption. Sheehan admits she has entertained this infanticidal fantasy "often." That ice-cream-and-coffee hunger strike is getting to her head.

Meanwhile, our friends in Canada celebrated the screening of a new kill-Bush fictional documentary at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Death of a President," a British mockudrama, is set in the fall of 2007 and looks back at the impact on America after President Bush is assassinated as he leaves the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago. The 90-minute feature explores who could have planned the murder, with a Syrian-born man wrongly accused of the crime.

The movie director, Gabriel Range, produced a similar tinfoil hat retrospective fake documentary about a terrorist strike that turns out to be an inside job wrongly blamed on a Saudi trader.

Range stalked the president to gather footage for the movie, according to the Los Angeles Times, and gained access to film Bush's arrival in Chicago earlier this year for a speech at the Economic Club of Chicago. He also filmed anti-war rallies, faked others and staged a 14-car presidential motorcade sequence with hundreds of extras posing as protesters, shouting anti-war slogans. The film crew hid behind the acronym "DOAP," Range explained. "We called the film 'DOAP' and very few people ever asked us what it stood for. To those who did ask, we said it stood for 'Death of a President' and it was a fictional film, the small distinction being that the president wasn't exactly fictional."

Right. What are a few white lies when you are creating a murder-Bush masterpiece? Tastefully done, of course.

While blame-America Brits and Canadians munch their popcorn and soak in President Bush's fake blood on the silver screen, no one can top our own homegrown moonbats in their hatred of George W. Bush. Malachy McCourt -- Green Party candidate for the New York governorship and brother of author Frank McCourt -- earned "Hardball" loon Chris Matthews' praise for voicing his anti-Bush assassination fascination on national TV (thanks to NewsBusters.org for the tip-off):

Matthews: "Look, let me ask you this. Where are you on capital punishment?"

Malachy McCourt: "Capital punishment? I think that if, if I've got to find that guy in Spain who indicted Pinochet and get him for war crimes, and I get him to do the same thing for Bush. And in that case, I would be for capital punishment. Otherwise, I am against it . . . "

Matthews, at the close of the interview, guffawed: "Well, I had to tell you, I hereby make my stand, I like you already. Malachy McCourt, Green Party candidate."

Bloody Bush Derangement Syndrome isn't new. But September 11 and the campaign season do seem to have exacerbated the symptoms. And the commercial success and social acceptability of "Kill Bush" literature, talk radio rhetoric and art on the Left is on the rise. From Sarah Vowell's best-selling murder travelogue of assassinated Republican presidents, "Assassination Vacation," to Nicholson Baker's "Checkpoint," a novella conversation between two people about the advisability of assassination Bush, to mock stamp art exhibits depicting Bush with a gun to his head, to anti-war placards featuring a decapitated Bush with blood dripping from his neck, acute BDS underscores the complete intellectual and moral bankruptcy of the Left in America and around the globe.

Jihadists are gunning for Bush, our troops and innocent civilians at home and abroad. But when it comes to how they would combat the true menaces to the West, all the kill-Bush crowd can shoot are blanks.

Times have changed...
Didn't it used to be illegal to threaten (whether jokingly or seriously) to kill the President? There are so many unbalanced people in this world, things like the Canadian movie and the comments made on Chris Matthews' Hardball could be all it takes to encourage one to murder our country's Commander in Chief during a time of war. Don't these people have any shame or any sense of right and wrong?

Actually, I'm surprised
the attempt hasn't been made already. Lefties are always saying that "hate" speech creates an environment in which people's actions will follow the speech. Given the amount of time and effort the left has put into hating Bush, it's amazing a line hasn't formed for taking a shot at him.

I pray every day
I worry about nuts that would give their own life to kill our president. There have always been nuts, but never in my memory has there been so much coaching from people who consider themselves 'normal'. It is sick.

saying 'I hate Bush' isn't hate speech,
it's just more free speech.

Sheehan saying she is 'obsessing' about killing the infant Bush is so far WRONG that I hope if she has friends - real friends, they get her some real help.

And all of this boils down to: it's not illegal to plan, or talk about killing the President of the United States - as long as it's George W Bush.

Absolutely macabre
How do you even talk about this stuff? Does anyone remember folks on the right fantasizing about killing Pres Clinton? I don't. This is so sick it defies description.

Does the left really want...
Cheney to become president? Oh, you say they didn't think that far ahead. Naturally.

Dan Quayle Redux
In the first Bush Administration, the Left would yell "Do In Bush!!" Usually, it would be a crackpot Democrat on Capitol Hill.

How the other Democrats, as well as the GOP, would deal with him was simple indeed: a copy of the 25th Amendment to the Constitution and a picture of the current (at that time) Vice President.

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

This the 31st day of June, 1991.

/s/J. Danforth Quayle

The Democrat would shut up.

Sometimes, the Commodore wonders if that would be sufficient for these dummies who want Bush the Younger in Arlington. If not, a visit from the Secret Service and/or the FBI might do so. And a copy of the Federal Legal Law on the subject, with a warrant of Arrest signed by a Federal Magistrate. Said person only need a stretch in the Slam to cool off. It is a Federal Felony to advocate doing in the President; the only One Who can do so has nailprints in His Hands and Feet, and a spearprint in His Side.

Inciting hatred, disrespect & violence?
I hate to mention Michelle's book in case it raises sales, but "Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild" got a bollocking in the editorial review from Publishers Weekly on Amazon. Seems they didn't like her picking only sources that suited her agenda.

In the same vein, this article continues the trait of purely focussing on the most extreme views and actions that can be attributed to a 'liberal' and presenting them as being the norm.

If the majority of 'liberals', or democrat voters, held these Bush-cidal views then the president could never be let out in public and would run the country from a bunker. It would mean more than 25% (though she might feel it's more like 50%) of the country was literally just waiting for an opportunity to take a shot at him... Stupid. Irresponsible journalism, if you can call it journalism - it's just prejudiced tabloid editorialism.

I ask you - is there any point reading articles like this? Ones from _either_ side of the debate, that characterise the whole of the opposition by looking only at the most extreme beliefs or most easily demonised activities?

Writers like this just latch onto tabloid level material and arguments so that they can pump out inflammatory articles and pull in a wage as though they are contributing something useful.

Frankly the most extreme elements of each side are the people who do the most damage to their own cause - their postulations and demands are so deranged that they destroy opportunities for intelligent debate and negotiation - the other side walks away either infuriated or disgusted.

This article is reminiscent of Coulter's claptrap where the aim seems to be polarising the community and sowing hatred and distrust.

I don't think it would take much more pushing to incite open violence between the more excited members of each side.

Don't worry about the Canadians
They are much too busy hyperventilating about homosexuals and abortionists to bother killing anybody else. And anyway, what would they use? Spitballs?

As for the Americans making threats against the President, lock them up. It's still against the law to threaten the President or advocate the overthrow of the government by force and violence. Lets make sure they all know it. And once they're locked up, keep them quiet. Nobody will care -- just get some celebrity to impregnate his current girlfriend and you can leave the moonbats in prison til the end of the war.

This is sick
I have no love for Bush at this point and would vote for a strong candidate from either party (can't we clone Teddy Roosevelt already?), but this is just sick. It IS illegal to threaten the life of the President. It is also low class and smells of people who never made it past a sophomore high school mentality.

How any democratic politician can think flyover country takes them seriously as intelligent and strong on defense need only look at these wingbats fluttering around.

bathed in ignorance
We did nothing about terrorism for almost 30 years, including saving Muslims in Bosnia and it got us a littany of attacks.

Bush finally has the balls to respond and he is smeared for it.

Bush has liberated 50 million people. Other than tiring old cliches' I would say the current Left has nothing much to compare.

Of course the supreme irony is that if Bush were this terrible dictator he is made out to be none of these nutjobs would _dare_ make statements like they do.

Steele, adjust your aluminum beanie
Steele,

I'll make this simple for you.

Take the 15% of the most extreme of the two sides, and compare what they say, and what they do.

Which of the two sides are the most extreme?

Then take the next 35%, and do the same.

Which of the two sides are the most extreme?

While you're at it. Compare these 50%ers, with what they donate in time and money to non political causes.

Finally. How many on both sides, stand up and critise those of their own belief when they say and act in a manner of hate and vitriol.

A considerable portion of the left is out of control. Only a few of the remaining left, stands up and tries to instill respect for the opposition amongs their own.

Where are the resonable and calming leaders on the left?

So brave
This filmmaker is so brave for doing a movie about killing Bush. Now let's see him do a movie called DOAM, Death of a Muslim.

There is a term for guys like these. Watch the final scene in Team America.

Their Hatred Is Sick
It is a repulsive thing to hear these socialists (they are so far left now they are past being a democrat) want to kill our beloved president.

Whether you like President Bushes actions or not what right does a person have to wish someone dead.

Besides doesn't that type of thing go against their so called agenda of wanting peace. Sounds pretty violent to me, how about you?

Liberals, Uncapable
If you think about it in a sensilbe and rational way, liberals are incappable of the enormous responsibilties that it requires to maintain effective representation of the public. I have seen them use our tax dollars to bash bush, create havoc, promote hate and many other undesireable acts, did anyone ever question why they are not using our resources, time and engery on a positive solution to work with the president and put political differences aside for the betterment of humanity. I have great sympathy and compassion for President George Bush and I truley believe that he is working in the best interest of this country, if only he had some meaningful help, maybe it would make a difference. I am not going to stop praying to God to give him The President of the United States, some peace of mind, some sanity and most of all compassionate, caring leaders, capable of leading and worth the trust of the citizens of this country.

Democrats are murderers rapists and thug
How about a movie which depicts the assasination of the first woman presidential candidate? I have one in mind...wonder how that will play in Peoria?... To be honest, this kind of baloney will back fire on the party..I was hoping to hear some protests from Reid and Pelosi but I think I was asking too much of their feeble minds as this 'BDS' really does effect the brain and other parts of the body, I am told. Another poster askes where are the calming leaders on the left? They are there but 'you-know-who' has about 900 FBI files with all kinds of good stuff in them and these 'calming leaders' had better stay in line or else. Folks, wake up here...we are about to go the way of the Soviet Union....read your history for further details.

Where are they?
Toomuchsense,

Where are the reasonable and calming leaders on the left? They're being tossed out of their own party. You know, the one with the "broad tent".

I highly encourage anyone who finds "Death of a President" playing in their hometown to call their local Secret Service office and alert them that our president's life is being threatened. It'll be interesting to see which theatre chains, if any, choose to pick up this film. I sure wouldn't want to own stock in that chain.

..and one more thing....
Talk about Bush Derangement Syndrome, I was just dying to tell this story...
tThe past few years, a member of my family was living with me, on and off...a real Vermont liberal...disgusting in her political ideas... Talk around our table was intense, to say the least and we had to avoid any political speak so as not to get her 'upset.' When George won, again in '04, she came down to breakfast the morning of the win and announced to everyone that she will not tolerale any 'gloating' and she silently moved out shortly after that. She had no money and no place to go....have not heard from her since..sorry to take up space here...but I just smile thinking about it...now talk about BDS...this is it, people...this is it.

Steele
"Is there any point reading articles like this?"
Yes- Its called truth. I'm not familiar with any "easily demonized activities" taking place on the right.

You seem to imply that anyone with this point of view should just gravitate toward the "center" where the "majority" of opinions reside. So we can all "compromise" our views into something more palpable to the left.

No thanks!
"I will not submit!"
I'm perfecly comfortable over here on the right.
With the truth!

Just like the religon of peace
Rock_Slatestone writes: It is a repulsive thing to hear these socialists (they are so far left now they are past being a democrat) want to kill our president.

Look back in history, ever seen an instance where the socialist don't murder their opposition?

ditto Sandy!
interesting story also.

Just don't go!!!!!
...xljamz...you are CORRECT. Any movie theater that will air this garbage is off my list....this is something we can do on our own....boycott whatever establishment airs it. And did I hear that Bill and Hill were at the showining in Canada? Our BILL??? I thought he would have been busy writing protest letters to his lawyers about this movie. I am sure they are lost in the mail.

Sheehan
Cindy Sheehan has gone off the deep end, she needs to be institutionalized, "killing Bush as a baby?" C'MON!

Why does this surprise anybody?
Having read "A National Party No More" by Zell Miller, I am not in the least surprised by this sort of aberrant behavior. All it really is, is the core constituencies of the Democratic Party reverting to type.
The Democratic Party had a brief period of rationality in the first half of the 20th Century, thanks to moderates like FDR, Adam Clayton Powell, and ....Zell Miller. Unfortunately, the northeast elite wing of the party regained control in the 1950s and 1960s, and in concert with the drug-addled "Peace And Love" crowd from the West Coast, drove the party forcibly back to its mid-19th Century mindset, with the process being complete by the 1980s. This resulted in a Democratic Party that practices the same divisive politics and frequent attempts at election fraud and intimidation that characterized it from the 1840s to the turn of the last century. If you don't believe me, look up the 1876 Presidential election, specifically the Tilden/Pelton scandal, in which the Democrats tried to defeat Rutherford B. Hayes by buying electoral votes outright. (The book "The Codebreakers" by David Kahn is a good starting point.) When the Democrats can't win honestly, they default to dishonesty even faster than the average Republican. Ohio's Tom Noe has nothing on the DNC of today.
And when neither of the above works, they unhesitatingly default to violence. The 1960s and 1970s, when Democrats openly and/or tacitly supported every anti-American group from the SDS to the Weather Underground, is a case in point. As is what they did to the country as a whole over the subject of slavery, from 1852 to 1865. I'll remind you, that time they didn't just advocate the death of a President- they tried to kill a nation. Ours.
I come from a family of FDR New Deal Democrats, by the way. Most of whom have passed on. I am sure they would be ashamed of their party's antics today. The Democratic Party keeps demanding "regime' change" in the Oval Office. I think the first thing we need is "regime' change"- in the Democratic Party.

Boy! Truth stings!!!
BRAVO!,Eon...you put to the page what my feeble mind could not say. Thank you. Listen up, everyone...there is the truth!

Ah....libs are all talk.
And all hot air. They talk about killing the president but they'd never do it. Or would they?

If they do grow some cajones and actually do what they are now starting to admit that they want to do.....well it'll add a whole new dimension to our already chaotic political environment. You don't think gun nut right wingers would be out for a bit of revenge next time a dem president sits in the White House? When it comes to real action, libs will never get the last laugh.

One thing for sure, when Hillary! Clinton is president, they won't be as enthusiastic about "Kill Hill" parodies as they are about Kill Bush parodies. Suddenly we'll all remember that it is still illegal to threaten the president, even in jest.

May not be hot air
I certainly believe that lefties are capable of execucide. Have we forgotten what Dutch lefty (animal rights advocate) Volkert van der Graaf did to Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn? He was murdered by that lefty wacko becuase he had the audacity to claim that Islam was a threat to Dutch society and the Netherlands should end Muslim immigration.

you can't fix stupid.
Left leaning people can't be changed. They don't want to revise their thinking. I don't know why. You say you have evidence? It is fake, made up by some neo-con. You followed the money trail? The books have been cooked by some neo-con. Moore's piece? Absolute truth. Disney piece? A pack of neo-con lies, I won't watch it. They are many and adamant in their belief that GW is the scourge of the Earth. Move-on has done it's job very well. Do not make the mistake of thinking truth will out. I have been arguing with my liberal sister for years with absolutely NO progress. This otherwise intelligent reasonable woman was programmed to hate Bush BEFORE he won the first election, buys into every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike, and no amount of evidence will help. When faced with irrefutable facts, she falls back on the liberal lament, "all politicians are crooks. I'm tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. We need to take back our country."
I can't even begin to articulate the levels of frustration I'm living with daily.

Steele .......
.... writes "In the same vein, this article continues the trait of purely focussing on the most extreme views and actions that can be attributed to a 'liberal' and presenting them as being the norm." Actually, I think she (MM) is pointing out that these "views and actions" are trending toward the norm. This becomes obvious when no one can quote anyone on the Dem's side of politics condemning any of these "views and actions". Even the "leader (?)" of the DNC (their hero Dr. Howard "Strangle-hold" Dean) must condone these "Views and actions" since he doesn't condemn them. What does that say about the party of "Let's negotiate with the terrorists"?

just thinking
One of the things I try to impress on my sister is that I am exposed to both sides of the argument. I am getting much more information than the average liberal. I listen to network news, which we all know is liberal, because I don't pay for television. And I listen to talk radio because I enjoy it. Doesn't that give me both sides? Liberals listen to nothing that doesn't stay true to their agenda. My sister wouldn't be caught dead listening to anything conservative. Not even Fox news. The liberals have been convinced by their fearless leaders to not listen to the other side. It's all propaganda, no need to listen. The vast majority are like that. They think they know the facts and no amount of discussion will change their tiny little minds.

If you really want to P off Liberals
Suggest payback in kind. For example, someone mentioned a movie about the killing of the first female presidential candidate. How about in response to P*ss Christ you do a picture on black velvet that suggests that black civil rights leaders are subhuman? Hey, it's just art, right? I have the right to my opinion too, don't I?

Try that and see what you get. What I get is comments that "it is not the same." It all depends on who's ox gets gored. But the main difference is that my picture would be slammed by both left and right and not ever see the light of day while p*ss Christ got major media play and was on display for years.

I know it's frustrating, nanarae...
...but let not your heart be troubled. I'll try to be gentle in saying this, but who is crazier, a crazy person, or the person who tries to reason logically with a crazy person?

While I'm sure she's not been diagnosed as clinically insane, your sister has made up her mind on who to trust and believe, and no amount of sense will change that. All you can do is love her, hope she never ends up in any position of political power.

And offer to drive her to the polls on November 7th. After you've voted already. And after siphoning all but the fumes out of your gas tank.

The FUD Factor
We know what sells news... Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD). FUD is what the MSM feeds to people all day long. Most of the people that lean to the Left are scared stiff of what the Jihadists would do.
Let's try to look at life from their perspective. They feel (as appeasers always do) that if you leave the bully alone, he won't bother you.
Remember back in middle school when there was a bully? How did you react? You probably thought if I say something about him, he might come after me. It's the same principle.
These people hate Bush because he won't keep his mouth shut and keeps trying to fight the bully. They are scared to death that the bully will come after them.
"He's beating up on that little guy, Israel". As long as he's doing that, he won't bother me." "He's only going after those weak kids in Africa, so I'll be fine as long as he doesn't come down my hallway".
It takes guts, fortitude and resolve to go after the bully. You need to be willing to fight back when he comes. You need to go to the principal (UN) or maybe even the police (US Armed Forces) if he doesn't stop.
This bully isn't stopping until he learns that he can't pick on ANY little kid anymore.

RE: Steele
It doesn't matter if it is just one or all leftists who salivate over murder. The fact that there are enough of them to lend them extraordinary "credibility" is the problem.

As for "only being one sided", tell me, when was the last time a conservative made a popular movie about the dreamed assassination of a real Democrat pol? When was the last time a conservative was given gushing raves for wishing for the death of a Democrat?

The fact of the matter is that has NEVER happened.

But Democrats have a long history of wishing death upon anyone they don't agree with. Forget the recent "let's kill Bush" craze, just recall the comments about Clarence Thomas, and how some wanted him to die of heart failure.

This attitude is not the problem. It is merely a symptom of the disease that most leftists are aflicted with to some degree. Their kooky ideas are so irrational, that they must silence anyone who is able to expose them as cranks. Some even go so far as to silence the opposition by the ultimate means: death.

Just like Hollywood
Kimberly writes: I just love these political columnists who start out their diatribes with "unhinged left".

Love seeing your name in print?

Provoke Us
Deep in my dark, dark heart, I'm just expecting there to be one event, the one trigger that will propel us into open civil war. This nation cannot endure half rational, half insane. We cannot have any sort of debate on a pressing political issue so long as the Left regards Republicans as purest evil. Social Security? --"the Rethuglicans want to steal Granny's pension and buy junk bonds." Balanced budget, cutting nonfunctioning programs -- "Repugnants are unfeeling, they want to starve the beast."
Maybe that's why Leftists feel such camaraderie for the Islamists--at least the Islamists have the "guts" to act on their hatred.
Or let me put it to you another way: if I felt our nation were being sabotaged by my ideological opponents, that they were stealing national elections (a la Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, not just the machine politics in major cities), and that they were allowing Americans to die just for, I dunno, the ACLU or the Sierra Club, I would not merely post my vitriol (and use bad grammar) on some blog--I would act on it.

Death of a President
DOAP rhymes with SOAP.

Anyone note the irony of these guys working on a project called DOAP (DOPE)?

Cindy Sheehan
I've mentioned it before, but seeing the picture of "peace mom" on this article reminded me of an ananswered question: Now that Bob Denver's dead, who's going to play her in the made-for-tv movie? Paul Hogan? (h/t NRO)

RE: Kimberly
And your acceptance as "rational thought" of the things that the modern day leftist is being identified by is EXACTLY why your complaints of "vitriole (sic)" will fall on deaf ears among rational people.

The bottom line is YOUR OWN PEOPLE are saying almost EXACTLY what Malkin and even Coulter have been saying about the wacko extremism of what is now the "mainstream political left".

Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of "Take It Back" by Begala and Carville and you'll see even THEY express much of the same sentiment.

The more accepence that is granted for this utterly disgraceful behavior, the more it will continue to occur, and the further from the mainstream of political thought the Democratic Party will move. At this rate, it is only a matter of a few years before the Democratic Party becomes the next entrant into the "Former Popular Political Parties Hall Of Shame", joining the likes of the Whigs.

RE: Steele's post . . .
he (she?) seems to think it's just a few nuts who want Bush dead, so let's ignore them.

I wonder if Steele would be so calm and understanding if, in 1998, a few right-wing nuts had advocated killing Clinton? I really doubt it.

Steele's post reminds me of the sanctimony of the left, the oh so moral superiority they profess to have, when all it boils down to is hypocrisy.

Let's get reasonable
Those people worldwide who hate Bush may feel that they have legitimate reasons (Except for the French---They hate everybody anyway so phooey on them). Those who fantasize about the death or injury of a president are just plain sick. I'm no big George Bush fan but I don't wish him dead or physically hurt in anyway. He may have gotten us into a war that appears to have been managed poorly by the civilian leadership but now is no time to "give up" as the democrats seem to want to do. Giving up now would mean that little kids in grade school today will be right back in the Middle East as soldiers in 10 years or so fighting the same war. Dems don't seem to realize that as a fact.

steele
'Frankly the most extreme elements of each side are the people who do the most damage to their own cause - their postulations and demands are so deranged that they destroy opportunities for intelligent debate and negotiation - the other side walks away either infuriated or disgusted.'

Please cite one postulation or demand that Michelle made in this article that was extreme or deranged?

Here is an opportunity for " intelligent debate" and negotiation" ....I'm waiting...

One step behind vitreol..
You are joking, right Kimberly? And "Death of..." is what? A comedy? "Rules are for thee but not for me" should be the Democrat Party battle cry!!

Listening to the other side
nanarae writes "The liberals have been convinced by their fearless leaders to not listen to the other side."

How true and that's a good thing. The lefts' ignorance of what the right is doing is of great benefit to those of us that want to see responsible, sane people in office.

I say let the dems bury their heads.

Loved it Eagle..!
"I say let the dems bury their heads."....heheheh..meanwile burying their party!

Gee, Songo, you sure convinced me...
....well, I'll be charitable and assume it's a parody that I'm too serious to get.

I think Ayn Rand wrote in "Atlas Shrugged" that some battles weren't even worth fighting. The Left's ignorance of fundamental logic, and its perpetuating bizarre depictions of facts into even more bizarre theories about international relations just don't even warrant a debate.

Stradlin said.....
(if I felt our nation were being sabotaged by my ideological opponents, that they were stealing national elections (a la Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, not just the machine politics in major cities), and that they were allowing Americans to die just for, I dunno, the ACLU or the Sierra Club, I would not merely post my vitriol (and use bad grammar) on some blog--I would act on it.)

You bring up a good point. Many libs, even some supposedly moderate ones, actually believe the Bush was in on 9/11 or at the very least knew about it and allowed it to happen. I'm not sure they understand the gravity of what they are accusing him of.....but what I wonder is, if they truely and actually believe Bush was complicit in 9/11, and they are not just using the extreme rhetorical impact of such an accusation as a means to a political end, then why hasn't he been killed off already? Why is it merely whining and moaning and complaining and protesting? They have the hate in their heart, they are now even admitting that they would like to see him killed, but as with everything I guess they just don't have the stones to do it. Either that or the fact that they have not already done it is the biggest indication that even they know their rhetoric is full of cr-a-p.

They would approach foreign policy the same way. They never act because they are too busy building consensus, I guess so they can spread out the blame if things don't go right. They have been so effective at using accusations as political weapons that they fear the same thing being done to them. Cover you butt first, act later. If everything goes to he-l-l in the meantime, well just blame it on the neocons. They accuse reps of using politics of fear yet their politics is based on nothing but fear.
Part of their defense of our enemies is a desire to make their domestic political opposition look bad, part of it is based on the fear that if we confront them they might fight back. They pretend to fear republicans, or what they would do to the country, but they don't really, because if they really feared what republicans would do they would be too scared to criticize them. If Bush really were Hitler(as they say he is), they would never dare confront him, they would appease him in the hopes that he would kill them last.

Kim, tell me....
....does the left use propoganda or is the left straight up with people? You seem preoccupied with supposed propoganda from the right, but don't seem to understand that the cr-a-p you are buying from the left is propoganda, just at a much more sophisticated and organized level.

Name calling? HUH???
Well, I see the delicate sensibilities that Kimberly is sharing with us is just tooo delicious. She has a problem with name calling, folks...but assasination is A-OK...now there is a real liberal in the flesh..just don't hurt their feelings...I think we all need to be more politically correct or else she will take her toys and go home. So long, Kimberly...you'll be missed!

Re: Songo
Fact: You have no facts to support any your facts.

I'd highly recommend you read up on the history of terrorism particulary as it relates to the middle east and Islam. I'd especially suggest that you inform yourself about the history of the Muslem Brotherhood, PLO and Hezbollah. Of course, this might make your head hurt from the sheer volume of facts that undermine most of your alleged facts.

Also, as I recall, we were bombed first: in Beirut, in Africa, in New York (twice), Pentagon, the USS Cole, etc. How come they didn't try to undertand us before the bombed us?
I mean we've spent alot of money, and manpower trying to protect Muslems form each other, and non-muslems as well for the last 30 years.

Sometimes you have to kill a tree to save the forest.

Disturbing Silence
It may very well be that the core supporters of a film or mindset we see displayed by this "Kill Bush" movement is small. What is most disturbing is the similarity to the silence from the islamic world regarding their own extremests. In a civil society you would expect even the most virulent political adversary to condemn such behavior, I've not heard it here, maybe I missed it not sure.

Where the moderate muslems (both of them) are silent in their criticism of islamic exteremest out of fear of bringing their wrath down upon themselves, so it appears the Left is afraid of the fury from their own extremests. It can only be that or agreement and I earnestly hope we have not as a culture fallen that far.

There was a time when even people why would have normally agreed with your opinions would find this offensive. This is no longer the case.

Songo
Simply substitute "Clinton" for "Bush" in your diatribe and your "facts" will still hold true.

Songo
Your Chomskite world view is so painfully ignorant that it really warrants no reply...All I can do is challenge you to think rationally over the mindless drivel that you spewed in your post...To begin with, how exactly do we understand terrorists who want "infidels" to convert to their perverted brand of Islam or be killed? How will understanding these barbarians stop them from killing infants and grandmothers.

Poverty rates have been dropping significantly world wide since 1980 thanks to globalization and free trade. Your facts are simply wrong...

I can go on and on and on, but it will do no good. You need to rethink your painfully ignorant views before you can be taken seriously...

Illogic of Killing Bush
The left not only is petulently viscious, they are stupid to boot. If they wanted Bush assassinated, doing it in his first term or even early in his second term would have shown some tiny bit of intelligence. That way, perhaps there would have been some possibility of a policy change. But to wait until the Bush administration is in it's waning days, if accomplished, will have minimal effect on policy.

And so, the left is so stupid with blind rage they can't even strategize a presidential assassination intelligently.

Leftists need to let the anger go!
Wouldn't it be nice if the left could muster up some of it's anger and direct it towards the terrorists trying to kill Americans and their allies.

Dems need to let the anger go and start thinking about protecting this country instead of their party (and who knows, if that happens, they might actually start winning some elections....I doubt it, but it's better than the direction they're going).

Movie on Assassination
Great article Miss Malkin. There have been some comments on the statement on killing Pre. Bush, as free speech. Well this movie sounds to me like it is the beginning of the formation of the makers of this movie in the vein of conspiracy. That is illegal. Also the person from England that made this movie with lies(typical of the Left) should be deported to England and told to stay there. If the movie is shown in this country the people ought to picket it and shut the theaters down. I do not like foreigners coming into my country and trying to tell us what to do. Especially when it was the good ol USA that saved Europe in two world wars. With out us Germany would have complete control of the whole content. That is some of the reason the French especially hate us, because we are not cowards like they are and we were the country that kicked out the Nazis. So all Americans should tell this jerk to take his so called film on the killing of Bush and stick it where the sun doesn't shine and get our and stay out of our country.

Left Hatred vs Right Hatred
In the 1960s the self rightous left expressed disdain for what they termed the "culture of hate" expressed by the right anti-communists. Barry Goldwater was tared and feathered in editorials by the self-proclaimed middle-of-the-road press. Lyndon Johnson during a campaign speech, even looked to the sky and pleaded, "Forgive them (the merchants of hate) for they know not what they do."

Now that the liberals have lost their authority they are in a petulent rage and their own hate dwarfs anything seen in the USA since the Democrat's sething hate for Abraham Linclon in the 1860s.

Time traveling Cindy
Go back in time to murder G.W. Bush as an infant? You see, Cindy, this is why you're a raving moonbat and laughingstock to most Americans. It probably never occurred to you to fantasize about infanticide committed upon Osama bin Laden, or Sayyid Qutb, Muslim Brotherhood founder and "godfather" of modern Islamic extremism. No, because if G.W. Bush had never been born, then the 9/11 attacks would never have occurred, right, Cindy? Amazing the way al Qaeda planned those during the 1990s, and yet somehow knew G.W. Bush would be president in 2001.

Kimberly
You're right about Hannity--not O'reilly whose show you have obvioulsy never watched--but Hannity, yes. He's rude, he interrupts his guests, and occasionally, he resorts to demagoguery...However, he is far, far less vitriolic than his Democratic counterparts. Have you ever watched "Countdown"? Keith Olberman spews vitriol incessantly...He openly admits to hating Bill O'relley and other conservatives, he calls people with whom he disagees with "the worst people in the world", and he has never, not ONCE interviewd a person with whom he disagrees with politically. He is bad. The Air America crowd is worse. They in fact epitomize the brand of leftist politics that Michelle so eloquently writes about.

There are demagogues and hate mongers on the left and the right. These days, they're mostly on the left.

learned response
Screaming over your opponent is a learned response to be able to get your message across. I have been watching politics for half a century and the first time I witnessed such behavior was watching James Carville argue his point. They don't call him the "raging Cajun" for nothing. And liberals say that like it's a good thing unless of course the loudest one is a conservative. Then, suddenly, it's rude and nasty.

Who should let the anger go?
Articles that rant about how some people dislike George Bush kill me. This from the same people who wanted Bill Clinton's head on a platter every day because of philandering and "filegate". The stakes are much higher now that the country is involved in an international military conflict. This is the worst time for anyone -- especially those on the left -- to give up on their principles.

As you can read, Michelle Malkin and the other neo-cons have plenty of anger to spare -- despite controlling the White House, both houses of congress, the Supreme Court, and the majority of state governorships and legislatures. No one in their right mind would really want to murder another human being, even a president he or she doesn't like. The neo-cons handpick a few unbalanced individuals and portray them as "typical" of the "other" side -- liberals, Democrats, professors, athiests, any group with an anti-conservative connotation. The more you continue to fall for this, the more control special interest groups gain over this country.

Let me ask you this: With all of the pleas from neo-con columnists for liberals and Democrats to simply be quiet and go along with whatever George Bush wants, will you do the same when we have a Democrat in the White House and/or a Democratic majority in Congress? (Of course you won't.)

Facts
Fact: Songo is a 9 year old with a learning disability
Fact: Liberalism is a disease
Fact: People in Australia fall off because they are upside down
Fact: I rule the world.

Gosh, it is fun to play with "facts" isn't it Songo?

Nobody says to stop all opposition.
Good on Paper, nobody has said the left has no right to oppose the right. The hatred has gotten way out of control though. This article is about a movie that lefties CHEER about Bush being assassinated. Sheehan has publically expressed her fantasy about killing Bush. The only thing that is going to "defeat" Bush is time. Less than two years worth of time, when his term in office expires. Oppose him all you want but you need to accept that he is the president and will be until Jan 20, 2009. If you want to change our direction do it by winning in 2006 and 2008, not by tearing the country apart in a hissy fit and siding with our rnemies in a shooting war in order to discredit him.

Yes the GOP was downright stupid for impeaching Clinton. You admit reps went too far with Clinton, that is not an excuse for taking things even further on your own part. Yes the stakes ARE higher now since we are in a war. All the more reason to be united at this time. Support your nation in it's time of need not by trying to destroy it for it's own good(or, more accurately, to "punish" us for not electing your guy) but by using the process to persuade people to vote in your agenda in the future. When reps win it is not the end of the world, there is another election around the corner that you can try to win. When dems win congress this fall I'll say the same thing to any reps who go over the deep end. Relax, there is another election in 2 years.

If you do win both houses in the fall, and then waste the next 2 years trying to impeach Bush, we will all end up paying, left and right, the nation as a whole. He has less than 2 years to go.....work on making sure one of your guys replaces him if it's that important to you.

Quick list for Kimberly
"You tell me. Do you have examples of the paid journalists or pundits on the left who routinely utilize name calling to get their point across?"

Maureen Dowd.

Molly Ivins.

Tom Teepen.

Ted Rall.

More available upon request...

Kim you couldn't see an example of....
....any leftwinger distorting the truth because to you anything a lefty says IS the truth.

Tell me Kim, do the leftwing pundits give you the straight up, no bias no spin truth or do they give you their own bias and own spin?

Many lefties do not understand that the left spins its message as much if not more than everybody else does. Lefties buy into it so completely that it BECOMES reality, even when the real reality is staring them straight in the face.

No gonads
The only reason there has been no attempt on the POTUS's life yet is because the progressive left has no gonads. They think spouting off on stage, overseas, ala the Ditzy Chicks, is the height of bravery. Heck, that Italian who roared his defiance before they beheaded him in Iraq had more courage in one of his testicles than a whole theater of Mikey Moore admirers possess in toto!

Kimberley
HAHA

So Bill O'reilly is the worst person in the world, by your estimation? Ok...not fair enough.

The fact that you think Olberman is fair and balanced is so laughable, I'm literally LOL. I have watched him from beginning to end and his lies and far-left wing commentary are a bit too much to stomach.

Keith Olberman, who is irrefutably a pathological liar and a nasty, nasty individual, has NEVER not ONCE interviewed a conservative, centrist, or anyone to the right of center. His guests are either left-wing partisans or left-wing journalists disguising (and quite poorly I might add) as impartial analysts. Despite left-wing conventional wisdom, Bill O'Reilly does not shout down his guests. Ask Chuck Schumer what he thinks of Bill O'Reilly. In either case, O'Reilly invites people with who he disagrees with politically to his show. The same can not be said for Olberman.

I'm afraid YOU can't "see" an instance where Olberman has distorted the truth to suit his left wing agenda because YOU think that left-wing propaganda is the truth. Sorry, it's a futile endeavor at this point in your life.

Al Franken--also a pathological liar--constantly declares his hatred for conservatives. Classy guy.

Kimberly: Leftist Journalists

Your challenge is ridiculous on its face and is either the byproduct of a warped mind or more likely, last night’s vegeburger and tofu surprise. Your moral turpitude is showing.

The only thing worst than the leftist journalists are the leftist politicians. All the writers need do is to quote the likes of: Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, Boxer, Kennedy, Murtha, McKinney and others (on the left) to get all the inflammatory language a leftist could ever dream of.

As to your challenge, obviously, the list has grown in the past two years but here’s a small list, courtesy of an article by George Shadroui, written in Frontpage on August 16, 2004.

Kim
Cindy Sheehan calls George Bush the greatest terrorist in the world (greater than Osama. I'm sure you concur). She thinks Israel and US are the two most evil nations in the world. She thinks the terrorists in Iraq who are killing Iraqi civilians are freedom fighters. She's an extremely ignorant, brainwashed extremist, with absolutely no credibility. I will of course concede that her grief is genuine and immense.

We're the good guys in Iraq, Kim. We're working to stabilize that country, to bring about prosperity and democracy, while thugs and murderers are killing civilians. The fact that you think al-Queda and ex-Bathist thugs are the good guys is sad and shameful. It's the equivolent of believing that the Nazis were the good guys in World War II.

The Democrats will probably try to impeach Bush...and they will fail miserably. Most sane Democrats are against impeachment and will humiliate the far-leftist in their party.

Good on Paper
... and the rest of you leftists.
Don't you ever get tired of having to base your arguments in moral equivalency? Bad behavior is never justified simply because you think someone you disagree with would do the same thing if the tables were turned. This is precisely the attitude that has led us to the political divide we currently have in this country.

How's this for an idea? Do the right thing regardless of what your political opponent does. Continuing in this game of premptive t1t-for-tat will only escalate the situation.

I am one of those who thought Bill Clinton deserved to be impeached - he comitted perjury. But I thought the NRA "Charleton Heston is MY President" bumper stickers were just plain silly. Clinton was a crappy president and a thorough embarassment, but he won the elections (sure, it was by a plurality - twice) and I respect the office enough that I would never place my allegience elsewhere.

I never did see any paraphernalia that openly called for his assasination. And would you like to know why? IT DIDN'T EXIST!

So, rather than defending the rights of the crazy people to call for the death of a twice duly elected leader, you should be denouncing their despicable behavior and preparing for the day when someone else is elected to take his place. You do know he can't run again, don't you?

Kimberly
Never forget, Molly Ivins called for someone to kill the President, on her radio show, on the air. I don't recall that ever happening on a conservative show. You really need to get out more, dear. And it would benefit you to try to get more than one side to the story.

Kimberly
And you're going to look really cute in that burka.

DocNoleCat
Noticed you responded to Kimberly only to have a demand for "links" supplied. This shows a clear ignorance of the work of these people by kim, any piece written by any of them over the past six years should suffice.

By the way, I do admire you for being able to use the full name of Ted R. I would have needed wash my hands afterward.

K___ Bush Mania
Their money has to be from some source, are there advertisers that can be boycotted or written? For a different spin, I just saw the t.v. advert. yesterday from theotheriraq.com Nice to see Iraqi's waving U.S.A. flags and saying thank you. No Iraqi shown holding up a Cindy Sheehan book.

Since you persist.
Kimberly writes: Impeachment is what this administration deserves. Scare tactics on failure after impeachment is speculation that you can't possibly support. In fact, it sounds desperate.

Could you please inform the huddled masses on what ground Bush could possibly be impeached on? Feel free to quote "sources" to support your claim.

Kill for the Good
In Russia the Bolsheviks had the same vitriolic slogans the Democrats use. They were extorting the soldiers to kill their officers and come home from World War l. The proletariat soldiers did a lot of what we would call "Fragging" today--so much in fact Russia pulled out of WWl. The Communist were in power in 1917 and they immediately killed almost all the leadership in the Russian Army and all the national leaders as well. This is not just idle rhetoric-this is all part of the pattern used to attain power. Denigrate all the institutions, denigrate those in power, denigrate the armed forces, control the mass media to include film, and lie to the people until the lies are believed. The salvation of this country lies in our veterans, our constitution with the Second Amendment, and the alternative media to keep us all apprised of the impending danger. In Germany it was the Free Masons who stopped the Communist coups in Berlin and Munich--in the US it will be the Veterans.

Speaking of "unhinged"
Unhinged writes: .... we are finding that all the reasons we believed were why we should go to war with Iraq are lies promoted by Bush and the Bush administration. They can't even gloss it over with the old rightwing nugget of memory loss. They lied, plain and simple.

Seems to me that these books you listed are just stating a fact. Hardly name calling on the same level as clumping a group of people together and labeling them "unhinged" "godless" "moonbats" - to name a few.
.
.
.
.
.

May I present Exhibit "A" for labeling them "unhinged" "godless" and "moonbats"?

Cutting to the chase here...
...but the only reason for impeachment, that I can see from my humble perch, is the fact that the US Congress impeached one William Jefferson Blyth Clinton for lying under oath....and that is the ONLY reason the left socialist traitors want to impeach President Bush...as PAYBACK for what Bubba did to himself...or as they say "Iit for tat." You can put lipstick on that pig, all you want...but it is still a pig!!

Kimberly writes:
"I don't agree with Cindy on many things, but I also have a problem with anyone who ridicules her on her looks and her position regarding her son's death in Iraq.

I agree that our soldiers are, for the greatest part, the good guys in Iraq, but they are there for the wrong reason. We now know that without any question."

Who has ridiculed Cindy on her looks? I never have and neither has any concervative who I admire. If someone has, I will readily concede that that is shameful...What exactly is her "position" regarding her son's death in Iraq? I presume you have a problem with anyone who ridicules the position of a mother who has lost a son in Iraq and continues to strongly support the war in Iraq? Please, demonstarte to us that you're not a hypocrite...

Our soldiers are in Iraq because Saddam Hussein failed to obide by the terms of the cease fire that ousted him from Kuwait in 1991 and failed to comply with 18 UN resolutions passed against him. I'm so tired of spelling this out for intransigent leftists, but since you have been relatively civil, I will: BILL CLINTON BOMBED IRAQ...I REPEAT BILL CLINTON BOMBED IRAQ. Did he do that for oil, or whatever else preposterous reason ignorant leftists purport? Please, flex your brain muscle, and explain to me WHY BILL CLINTON BOMBED IRAQ ID SADDAM POSED NO THREAT TO THE US? Also, if you so desire, please explain to me why EVERY SINGLE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY IN THE WORLD BELIEVED THAT SADDAM POSSESSED WMD? This should be good...

A funny

Entirely appropriate considering how Clinton found himself being impeached.

Kim....
If you "agree" with me that Bush should be impeached, then you have not been reading my posts very carefully!

Kim again.....
In typical form, you demand to know what dems have been bashing the right, then when it is pointed out to you, you dismiss it by saying "well they're just telling the truth".

LOL OK fine, they are just telling the truth, so it is not bashing. OK then, Coulter, Hannity, Limbaugh, Malkin, they are all just telling the truth as well, so there goes your gripe about conservatives being big old meanies. ;)

This is getting tiresome.....
Well, see, when they are losing the arguement they will always throw in some idiot statement that we referred to someones looks or weight or age. That is the tact used to negate an arguement when they have nothing else to say. The shame is that the art of debate is down the drain...you can't debate the left on any level of thought or idea..simply cannot be done. When they are losing a point they will say the other side is playing dirty...like children who have not gotten their afternoon nap. Very cranky bunch, if you ask me.

lol then they go call Rush Limbaugh fat.
As if that isn't name calling and criticizing for looks?

one more thing before I go..
The only way to end all this cr-a-po-la is to vote Republican. It is a shame that the democrat party leaves you no alternative...I really don't think it is about just freedom anymore...these terrorists are out to KILL us....Dems will do NOTHING to stop that....we have seen it with the last administration...So, my mind is seeing the future...Muslims killing our children and grand children on the streets of Manhattan, Miami and DesMoines...all in the name of Allah. If people like Kimberly believe that a Democrat will be the answer, well, perhpas she should get her wish. Think about it..if Bush is not allowed to stop this NOW...what do you all think will be the future?

..one more coment, I promis
Speaking of calling Rush fat...how many times have we heard George Bush called stupid...how many parodies liken him to a RETARD..sorry, did I offend anyone's sesnibilities?? How about calling Ann Coulter a skanky blond...don't tell me no one has ever heard that one. So name calling is allowed only by the democrat/traitors...again..."the rules, they are for thee, but not for me."

Kimberly:

Once again, "Your moral terpitude is showing."

You wrote, "Seems to me that these books you listed are just stating a fact. Hardly name calling on the same level as clumping a group of people together and labeling them "unhinged" "godless" "moonbats" - to name a few."

Did you read the list? Al Franken, Michael Moore, Maureen Dowd. Are these three individuals who, in your mind, convey a level of reasonable discourse? Or are they "examples of... paid journalists or pundits on the left who routinely utilize name calling?"

OLBERMANN, LIBERAL HOLLA' BACK BOY
This is too much. Between this column and Mary Kathrine Ham's column of yesterday, the looney liberal feedback I have read in both does not even have to be commented on and should stand as evidence of the looney liberal thinking.
Gird your loins, readers. These 9/11 conspiracy nuts are going to be with us for the rest of our lives along with the Kennedy conspiracy nuts and the new icon of the liberal Kafkasque vision of the world, Joe Wilson IV.
There is one person mentioned in the past couple of days that I just feel compelled to comment on.
Yup, you guessed it, liberal kickline holla'back boy Keith Olbermann.
I have read posters here say how ol' Keith is a real fair and honest guy and how his show devotes up to 90% of it's time to honest new stories. Uh-huh, yeah. And I'm the Lindbergh baby.Let me see if I understand this:
Bill O'Reilly grills the chairman of the United Way for squandering millions of dollars donated by the people of the United States for 'new computers and other logistical equipment'and gets all of this money directly to the families of 9/11 victims.
BUT KEITH IS THE MAN!!!!!
Bill O'Reilly uses his influence to pass laws keeping child molesters and internet predators off the streets for years. These laws -most notably Jessica's law, enacted in the name of the young girl,Jessica Lunsford, sexually abused and buried alive in Florida- which has been signed into legislation in about 40 states. The notable exceptions to not accepting passage of this law are Vermont- Howard Dean, can you hear that? - and other predominantly 'blue' states.
BUT KEITH IS THE MAN!!!!!!
Bill O'Reilly grills judges for and in some instances works to get them removed from the bench for their King Solomon like stances in letting child molesters out of jail to molest again. Killers out of jail to kill again. Rapists out of jail to rape again. And on and on.
BUT KEITH IS THE MAN!!!!!
In fact, Keith is so much the man, he has these same judges on -like the one in Ohio who refused to send a child molester to jail- to praise them in their stances against 'the establishment' and standing up to authority.
With regard to Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter and the like, Keith should get down on his atheist knees every night and thank the good lord they are around because lord only knows, if it were not for them, he would be back where he belongs, reading a teleprompter on ESPN.
Again, at the risk of repeating myself, these 9/11 conspiracy stories stand by themselves to how desperate the crackpot left has become. Nothing is sacred to them. Well, with the notable exception of the rights of child molesters, abortion of demand for 13 year olds and Islamofacists.
What do you expect from people who get all weak in the knees at the thought of angering Islamofascists. On the other hand, when it comes to dealing with the 'religious right' and 'white supremicists,' they have absolutely no compunction in killing their children, shooting their wives in the face while holding their infant children or driving tanks into churches in Texas.
You know something, as I'm sitting here writing this, the more and more apparent that this slime Olbermann is absolutely perfect. The perfect mouthpiece for a radical hate filled left and the Democratic Party that is becoming it's their slave toadies.
Cindy Sheehan, that is for another time.

Movie is no big deal.
I'm sure a large portion of the looney left will acheive orgasm while viewing this movie. Or at least reach a Zen State.

But ultimately it's just a looney left fantasy.

Wow! Someone mentioned "Looker" Wasn't that the movie where my teenage crush Susan Dey got naked? Speaking of reaching ......Zen State, yeah that's what I did....Really.

John Galt
Hey, that Bob Denver comment was hilarious, I literally laughed out loud.
Kimberly, you sound like some nice young idealistic college sophmore, who has had her sensibilities rufffled and is very, very angry.
I am sorry, but exactly everything that I have seen that was posted by you is WRONG.
It's okay, I realize that it is hard to believe that college professors can be incorrect, but that is the sad truth out here in the big, grown-up world.

to STANDTALL
Here! Here! Amen!

Play it again Sam!

re:
There's a good bit of irony here.

Lefties will preach of charity, diplomacy, and tolerance and simultaneously seethe with fanatical hatred towards Bush wishing him death and torture.

It doesn't make any sense, but liberals don't use 'logic' or 'reason' like those 'stupid christian morons' who voted for Bush.

Hockey Goon,
didn't you know? Clinton wasn't impeached. Just ask Kimberly.

Yeah I saw that.
Cynewulf writes: didn't you know? Clinton wasn't impeached. Just ask Kimberly

I read that post a couple days ago. I peg her age around 20. Have to cut her some slack, about the time Clinton was being impeached she was watching MTV & Saved by the Bell. I wonder if she still listens to her Back Street Boys CDs?

To Kimberly
Unfortunately , Kimberly, how about Howard Dean's recent remarks re: Rebublicans....."I hate 'em all" ... very nice:). I'm worried that the Far Left is going to be the downfall of this great Country. This "quasi intellectualism" is absolutley dis-heartening.

Kill Hill

ANOTHER TIME
I wrote in response to a column some months back regarding the death of a US Marine hero whose words were taken out of context while appearing in crockumentary 'Farenheit 911'that the author of that article- I forget who it was right now- was doing the country a disservice not only in mentioning this heroes name in the same sentence as crackpot Michael Moore, but in dredging up both his and Cindy Sheehans name and foisting them both on the American public.
I wrote at that time and pretty much still do feel the way I did at that time, these two individuals, Moore and Sheehan, should be relegated to their proper place in both importance and impact on the general public, geeks in the looney liberal sideshow.
While Ms. Malkin's comments are dead-on, do we really have to waste anymore of our time on this obviously disturbed, nihilist narcissistic Joan of Arc of the left? Yes, I said disturbed, nihilist narcissicist. She recently took her dead hero son's death benefit and bought a piece of property in Crawford, Texas just outside of President Bush's ranch to use as a base of operations in her further lunacies.
If I recall correctly, doesn't this woman have three or four other children? Has this nutjob become so detached in her hatred that her other children have no meaning in her life? Or maybe she has become so blinded with awe by the looney liberal fringe dwellers that in her nihilist narcissism, she is actually enjoying this. Be that as it may - I know, I hate that phrase too- I still feel the same way about this moonbat. Consign her and Hindenmoore to where they belong, geeks in the looney liberal sideshow. Them along with Howard Dean standing outside the tent, barking nonsensical whinings and steering the audience in.

Kimberly's world
So all we had to do was to get Uncle Saddam to sign an agreement to be a nice guy?

WOW. Would that have worked with Gorby and Kim Jong Il? I seem to remember them violating several 'agreements' we made with them.

I guess you guys really will never learn: DICTATORS AND THUGS DON'T PLAY BY THE RULES. They rely on SAPS such as yourself to defend them, though.

This applies to : gun control, nuclear disarmament, prisoner treatment and a whole host of other issues. I am sure you disagree but your position is unencumbered by any factual basis.

Another Lib Hatefest bites the dust

AirRadio---the Lib answer to the evil conservative talk shows is going bankrupt.
Now I understand why....the Lib/Dems are so busy writing crap on the Conservative Websites and calling into Rush, et al....no one was listening. OR even they couldn't take the drivel of the Al Frankins of the nutso Lberal world.
Hence...our dear misguided Kim......

Can't get your way, Kill Bush
The Democrats feels their reasons for wanting to see President Bush assassinated is just. Where did the Kill Bush mania come from? The Democrats feel President Bush misled them when they voted for the war in Iraq. Kill Bush. President Bush push their patriot button and so that no one would questioned their patriotism they voted for the war in Iraq. Kill Bush. President Bush had the Democrats over a barrel and there was nothing they could do about it. Kill Bush. In order to save face with the far left for voting for the war in Iraq, the Democrats used the slogan Bush lied, saying information was withheld from them on voting against the war in Iraq. Kill Bush. President Bush talks to God. Kill Bush. President Bush wants a free Iraq. Kill Bush. President Bush took the war to the terrorist instead of here in America. Kill Bush. President Bush's NSA program targeted phone calls to terrorist abroad. Kill Bush. President Bush removed Saddam from power. Kill Bush. President Bush won't cut and run. Kill Bush. President Bush tore down the wall so law enforcements could communicate with each other on terrorist cells. Kill Bush. President Bush wants to put on trial enemy combatants at Gitmo. Kill Bush. Harry Reid doesn't feel safe. Kill Bush. So this is the Kill Bush mania. It's like a sickness that spreads so easily from word of mouth. Yes, sick is the word.

Kimberly
'Kimberly' is the end result of the Soviets 40+ year attempts at subverting our culture. They spent billions of dollars infiltrating our schools, many clubs and poltical organizations, television, advertising, movies and journalism. This is all well documented stuff. Their whole state of being was all about exploiting capitalism and freedom of speech. They tried (and are still trying) to bring down America by spreading their classic socialist workers party ideology through the areas I mentioned above by indocrinating young minds. Right along with getting younger Americans to go along with communist dogma was/is also the attempt to destroy religion, gender and traditional American values. It was to include such things as centralized planning (Hillary Clinton's health car plan), unionized workplaces (anti-Walmart), open class warfare ('tax cuts for the rich'), state encouraged abortions, rent and price controls. The end result was to be that our entire culture would collapse into anarchy due to our moral foundations that were to be destroyed and by the amounts of illegal immigrants that were to be allowed into the country (slavery). No sense of country means no country to be worth fighting for. No will to fight would then mean that the USSR would have been able to whip us easy in a shooting war.
Our present day media is highly skilled at conditioning the populance into acceptance of things that 40 years ago would never have ever been considered as being 'normal'.
Sounds tin-foil hat for sure but this is 100% factual. Their propaganda made it so that when you mention all this you are labled as some kind of crackpot. Yet another exanple of being conditioned.
Another offshoot of the cold war is Islamic fanaticism. The Soviets also spent billions subverting many Islamic countries by creating the fanatical Jihadist movement. They were just a tad bit too sucessful though and it came back to haunt them in a big way. They thought they could control this because they were able to in their own country for many decades. They also infiltrated the so-called 'peace movement'. Many of these organizations are led by known communists today.
I would recommend that they do not allow this movie to be shown anywhere. It's just more conditioning of those who are weak minded 'sheeple'.
Cheers!

Brummy - re: Kimberly

I like Mountain Rose's explanation; Kimberly as college professor. The name (Kimberly) allows the individual to essentially fly under the radar. Kimberly can pretty much drop any bomb Kimberly chooses to, and people will chalk it up to a lack of maturity. And some of us might even feel compelled to help the wayward child through the fog -- wasting time on arguments that only fall on deaf ears.

Socrates said," The shortest and surest way to live with honor in this world is to be in reality what we would appear to be."

I don't suppose Socrates could have (in his wildest imaginings) imagined our modern day leftists...

Kimberly
You obviously hear what you want to hear in order to support your lunatic premises.

For example, Bush never said that Sadaam was an "imminent threat" as you claim.

What he said that Sadaam's refusal to disarm (and prove that he had diarmed) posed a gathering threat and that we as a country could not afford to wait until that threat became imminent - something about the worlds most dangerous weapons falling into the hands of the worlds most dangerous people.

But what do I know? I, unlike yourself, don't have access to top secret documents.

KILL BUSH SYNDROME
Here's a good idea for a movie.
A group of people get together and start killing authors, film makers, cable talk show hosts, politicans, activists, reporters, editors, columnists, website hosts and their families after an American President is harmed.

CAN'T BE TRUE
There is no way this column is true. Everyone knows how enlightened, tolerant, compassionate and inclusive the left is (just ask them). Great column. Malkin/Coulter '08.

Kimberly:

Now that your back trolling, care to answer my earlier question?

Al Franken, Michael Moore and Maureen Dowd. Are these three individuals who, in your mind, convey a level of reasonable discourse? Or are they "examples of... paid journalists or pundits on the left who routinely utilize name calling?"

What reception for the Hillery version?
Subject says it all. She's not even a candidate yet but I can only imagine the response to a graphic depiction of Hillery Clinton being killed. Think of the worst way to show that and then imagine the heads of liberals all over doing the Exorcism head spin. How about a graphic depiction of rape followed by a muslim beheading. How about the recreation of the Monica scene with faces superimposed - blue dress and all. Bad taste is bad taste. I hope someone doesn't stoop that low but the double standard would be incredibly shrill and obvious. Sadly they are almost asking for just that. I'll settle for a cartoon Michael Moore depicted being trampled into a pile of mush by Elephants or Kerry and Gore with their lips superglued shut.

Kimberly: Where's Mo Dowd?

One of your heroines perhaps?

Kimberly equivocates, "Stating the obvious is not hateful namecalling."

That quote sums up how you responded to my inquiry. Although you allowed, "Al Franken and Michael Moore have taken potshots at you guys and your heroes." Only one sentence later you follow with, "They can take a guy like O'Reilly - who is hateful - and help him along in his quest to become King of the Buffoons."

Turn... Turn... Turn... You're like a centrifuge in hyper-drive.

So tell us about Mo Dowd? Unless of course you're too dizzy from all the spinning... Educate me.

Coulter/Malkin '08
The best thing about their administration, Kimberly, would be that hopefully far-left wingnut moonbat lunatics like yourself would finally move to Canada like you all have been promising for years. I'll chip in for bus fare and a road map. Then once you folks are gone, we won't have to listen to how Muslim murderers are actually freedom fighters, how the innocents who were killed on 9/11 deserved it, how 9/11 hi-jackers are just like our American Revolutionary War heroes, or the hateful lies about our military and anyone who diagrees with you.

Ms. Malkin's column depicts the modern left as it is. Your side has been spewing hate and lies for a long time now the right is finally fighting back. You idiots can dish it but you can't take it.

Now that Plamegate has fizzled.....
....the libs don't really have anything to impeach Bush for to begin with.

Although on the one hand....
....libs pi-s-s and moan about cons using fear tactics by pointing out the if libs retake congress then Pelosi will be third in line for the presidency and the dems will waste the next two years trying to impeach the president as revenge for Monica....then out of the other sides of their mouths, when they begin to smell victory they start bragging about how they are going to impeach the president in November.(see Kim's post above) Point out that they wouldn't want Cheney running things, they just brag that they'll take him down to. Leaving us with who as the legal successor? Hmmmmm.......fearmongering, is it?

Too bad for them Richard Armitage took the wind out of their sails......

kill Bush mantra
hard to belive... I remember when Jesse Helms mentioned if Bill Clinton came downt to North Carolina "he better bring a bodyguard" and that caused people to freak!! Images of a bunch of crewcut, Southern white males in camo and rebel flags cleaning their guns. was frightening but a bunch of urbane liberals aparently is not.

I do disagree with your condemnation of Sarah Vowell's book ASSASANATION VACATION. Yes she is a liberal and I agree with her very little, but I appreciate her writing, her view on history and sense of humor. Politics and religon asside, I am a fan! Nothing was in there about killing the President and it did not seem hatefull at all

Don't blame the Canadians
Don't blame the Canadians for this filth...unlike the American Left, they actually have the balls and the brains to fight alongside with us against Islamofascists. I have seen it with my own eyes in Afghanistan, and the average Canadian Infantryman has at much at stake in this war as anyone else. Many of them see the attacks of SEP 11th as an attack on them. I know that I would see an attack on Quebec and Montreal in the same light.

Don't just believe me, read about it and watch it for yourself:
http://www.beloblog.com/KGW_Blogs/afghanistan/2006/07/panjawi_part_i_1.html

As for the American Left, they resemble the Taliban in one respect as far as the abilkity to take human life: they are pretty good at killing unarmed kids and women. Maybe CIndy Sharia Sheehan should just call her dreams about killing the President "Postnatal Abortion?"

Kill Bush? Whateversaur
The real issue here is that Michelle Malkin is hot, and Kimberly is jealous.

That may not many any sense and it may be completely irrelevant, but damnit, people who oppose illegal immigration are racists!

MountainRose
Lefto-whackos on the other side of the border? Hhhmmm.... Haven't you noticed, this President of ours is letting them all invade our country! In fact, he wants to give them all amnesty, in addition to social security, free education and free health care.

I have been a Republican all my life, but I cannot stand behind a President that has called our Constitution "a GD piece of paper" and subverts it every chance he gets.

Perhaps he ought to reconsider the military tribunals bill that he is pushing so hard to get passed by Congress. You know, that bill that allows for AMERICANS to be thrown in secret prisons and even executed, while never being able to see the evidence against them. One day, it might be HE that is prosecuted under that very bill. Something he should consider.

Assination's complications
The above "error" is deliberate.

I've long thought the BDS types should hope no one knocks off W. As someone pointed out above, that would hand the Presidency to "Big Time", whom they might hate even worse. But being martyred would put Bush in a higher category as, perhaps, a quasi-JFK in the League of Slain Chiefs & probably result in more general respect over the years--which might drive the BDSers bonkers.

Damn liberals!
Michelle, you are so right. It would be much more fun to beat Dick Cheney's brains out with a sack of his own ill-gotten riches.

GayOldParty
STILL beating that drum? It's been long proven that Cheney gave the money from his stock options to charity and accepted a deferred pay out of other salary options over a 5 year span. Also legal.

But since you call yourself "gay" you'll be happy to read the article on my blog of Hitlary Klintoon finally coming out of the closet...almost.

gayoldparty
meant to add:

1. Mr. and Mrs. Cheney gave 78% of their 2005 income to charity. The couple donated $6.9 million, including the proceeds from stock options and book royalties that Mrs. Cheney routinely gives away. Their giving went to three nonprofit causes in health, higher education and services for inner-city youth.

2. Mr. and Mrs. Bush gave away 12.2% of their adjusted gross income in 2005, and similar percentages in past years. Their giving tends to go to more middle-class causes, including their church, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

3. The Goreacle, on the other hand (when not flim-flamming people with his carbon-credit scammery, gave 5.1% in 99 and a whopping $353 dollars to charity from their whopping income of $197,729.

SO much for the loving and giving Left.

Pogue_Mahone
No, no my friend, that is not how the libstain mind works. They'll dredge up how The Goreacle wuz robbed in 2000, voter fraud, etc, etc, etc, and get the moonbats whipped up.
