Poll
Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Do they want Hillary Clinton, the duplicitous former first lady, back in the White House enjoying all those furnishings she and her husband tried to swipe from the mansion?

Do they want a Democrat spending even more money that the government doesn't have on scores of programs right out of Karl Marx's playbook?

That's exactly what they'll get if they sit out the election and stay home on Election Day. That's called biting off your nose to spite your face. Or even more to the point, political suicide.

Let me say this. There has been plenty of battling in the primaries, and I've been in the middle of the battle, but until now haven't committed myself to any candidate, waiting until we had a nominee.

That's over.

If John McCain is the nominee of the party, this Reagan will happily campaign with him. The alternative is unthinkable to anyone who loves this nation.

Ronald Reagan would vote for McCain
I wrote this post on another subject of Why Obama will Win, but I think it's appropriate for this discussion:
Why Obama will Win
I read the article and actually found it to be very insiteful. I know there are a lot of Republicans who don't like McCain, but what I see happening this election year is the lost Republican moderates standing up and saying no to the right wing rhetoric and dogma, and the Democrats in the same vein saying no to the left wing rhetoric and good old boy system. I am personally sick and tired of a Republican party who feels it has to constantly pander to the Rush Limbaughs and Pat Robertsons of this country. McCain and Obama both have certain views that still appeal to the far right & left, but there has been a large group of Americans who have been waiting for a candidate who does not feel like another cog in the system. I do, however, think he is right in saying that McCain would have a better chance against Clinton than Obama. I also have talked with people who normally would never consider voting Democratic who are enamored with Obama because of his ability to rally people together and his fresh viewpoints. The first time I heard him speak, I predicted that Hillary might actually have a fight on her hands, and folks thought I was crazy, that white America would never accept a black candidate, but that viewpoint seems to be fading. Would they accept a woman? Yes, but not Hillary. I personally hope that Obama gets the nomination, and then I think we will have an interesting campaign year.

I'll be voting for Paul
I will write in Paul's name if I have to.
He's the only conservative worth voting for.
