Will Sarah Palin make a run at the GOP Nomination in 2012?

Amidst outrage over illegal immigration, some self-identified conservatives who see a bright side to open borders have been speaking up.

“These are economic migrants,” said Jason Riley, a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board, speaking at the Cato Institute. “We have the jobs. They need the work. Let them come legally.”

Riley is one of several conservatives who dissent from the movement as a whole on the issue of illegal immigration. He argued that there are substantial economic motives for legalizing aliens and referred to border control as “Soviet-style central planning.”

“The case for open borders is pretty straightforward. It’s the case for letting the free market decide who comes into this country,” Riley said.

Conservative author Michael Barone also called for “labor laws to work more in tandem with markets” and claimed that there is historical precedent for the recent influx of Latino immigrants, pointing to the enormous Irish immigrations during the 1850s and the German immigrations of the eighteenth century.

“In fact, we are not dealing with something unprecedented, but something we have faced before,” he said.

nonsense, matthood
We'll see a short section of matthood's demented post. That'll be enough.

"Subject: illegal destroy unions and american labo
I worked the last Union job in Freeport, Texas at Dow Chemical in 1981. Dow Chemical, the petro-chemcial industry use the non-union contractors to destroy organized labor and now just labor by their use of illegal aliens."

QUESTION, Matt:

Are you eligible to get hired by Dow without your union card? YES; therefore you have no jerk-off coming. A level playing field gives YOU as much opportunity as the next guy. It's irrelevant if the other guy is a Mexican national. He qualifies.

"Texas has been reduced to a nation of sharcroppers of under paid skilled craftsman who work on the Dow Chemical industry plantation were the illegals have brought back economic slavery over the past 30 years where all of us American's have become negro's because of the Mexican nationals."

Pardon my saying it;

But how could that ever happen to a nicer guy than an arrogant, racist Texan? Are you a sharecropper today? FINE. Get to work & stop your squawking.

The reason 46 millions have no health care is because they don;t have to in a NAZI RIGHT TO WORK STATES. Wall Streets sold us out during WW2 by siding with Adolf Hitler as well as Mexico, who refused to sell us gas during WW2 who conspired with the Nazi's to invade Texas and the Southwest. Mr Jason Riley and Michail Barone act like Nazi's who believe in economic treason has an excuse for free trade.
