Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Barack Obama and I have more in common than some may realize. As children, we both struggled with knowing the men who provided the DNA that created us. Later in life we both had men who were not biologically related to us assume the role of father in our lives. Given that, I would welcome the opportunity to introduce President Obama to two men who greatly impacted my life.

Most people just called them Buck and Bob.

Born Norman and James, Buck and Bob were of a different time and era.

One began supporting his family at age 8, selling hand-sewn cushions at city-wide football games for a few cents per game. He had gotten the idea from watching so many people come to the games and sit in discomfort on the cold cement bleachers in his home town's football stadium that was used by all of the town's football teams. His entreprenurial spirit was born of necessity. With older brothers in his life who would not work, and a deceased father, Bob labored even as a child to bring home a few dollars every Friday and Saturday night. By today's standards, it would barely buy a value meal for more than one person, but in his day such effort would help provide groceries or pay an electric bill. At eight years of age on this planet, Bob had figured out that if a man worked hard, using only talents given to him by God, he could use his mind and feed his family.

Likewise, Buck, as a young husband and father would rise long before dawn. He drove a grocery truck that made stops from early in the morning till late into the evening, and he only got paid for the number of stops he made. It was a very long day--sometimes 16-18 hours long. Buck would report to the warehouse, personally fill his truck with heavy bags of flour, barrels of supplies, palettes of cans. It was relentless, back-breaking work loading and unloading the truck without help, day in and day out. He did it to feed his family--the ones he loved--so that they could have uninterrupted access to their mom. Without fail, he would rise before sunshine, eat a large breakfast that somedays might be the only meal he had till he was back home that night, and work as hard as any human in America could be asked to. And in the years I've known him, he has never once complained about any of it.

When they were both of the age that was allowed, Bob and Buck served their nation. They were Navy men! And they served in a variety of theaters in what the world would come to know as the costliest global conflict in its history. They both lost friends, saw men die, and survived.

Though they were quite different, they both followed similar paths upon return from the war. Buck, the more bashful one, was able to finally convince his sweetheart to make him breakfast for those early mornings. A task she took to with delight, rising even earlier than he did on most mornings to make by hand homemade biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, fresh fruit, and of course, hot coffee. For the majority of their years on this earth, that routine held, and Buck never allowed her to forget how important that little sign of love was to him.

Upon Bob's return from war, a blushing girl from a big family thought him too much of a charmer to take seriously, but eventually gave in and married the man who never knew a stranger. He was also a man who demonstrated more loyalty to those he loved than anyone who knew him ever realized until long after his death. He eventually had to travel a great deal to keep food on his family's table, but would always point his company car in the direction of home with immediate fervor out of a great desire to see his bride and daughters.

Because of the nature of life in those days, both men had their educations interrupted. Neither of them ever had the chance to darken the doors of Harvard University for even a visit, much less to attend. Buck dropped out of school in only the eighth grade. Bob stopped and started his educational process several times, eventually securing his college degree fairly late in life, by attending night classes, long past the age any of his contemporaries. Despite their lack of more "obvious" credentials, both Buck and Bob spent their lifetime learning, analyzing, and educating themselves.

Because of this they were fierce competitors, and except on the occasion where they would be pitted against one another, both could regularly be counted on to win whatever game they competed in.

They were both extremely savvy and smart men. They were both men of common sense. They were both men that had no trouble recognizing God's existence, and saw to it that their families were in church weekly.

Even though one had a temper of legend, and the other a more passive/aggressive nature, they loved their families.

Each had flaws. Each would easily fess up to mistakes in their lives. Each would admit they were but a sinner saved by God's grace.

Buck taught me patience. Bob instilled within me a passion for justice. Buck loved to laugh at the dinner table. Bob would sing in beautiful baritone--especially when he thought no one was listening. Both loved their country. Both fought for her. Both had moral clarity and could easily define for you the difference between right and wrong.

Both would go out of their way to help their neighbors in need. One would walk a sassy kid back to his mother's doorstep by the earlobe if the situation merited it.

One voted and complained. One shunned talk of politics, but had deep concerns all the same about the direction of the country.

Both were strong in mind and body, both would have given their lives for their families, both made a bigger contribution to me than I probably can even accurately imagine.

A big piece of me wishes more men--especially our president--could have known them. Perhaps he might not have been so gullibly taken in by the campus communists, socialists, and leftists. Perhaps if Barack had known Buck and Bob, he would have never asserted that America and Islam were one and the same.

I wish that Barack had just had the chance to walk a country road with Buck, or spend an afternoon pulling weeds in the yard with Bob. Perhaps then a love of his country would have taken root in the President's heart, instead of the need to blame her.

Barack will never know Bob, and will most likely never meet Buck.

When it came time to dedicate my second book to someone who embodied the spirit of the kind of man every man should be, Buck and Bob were the only choices in my mind.

America would be a better place if everyone had the opportunity I have had to call them Gramps and Grandpa.

So to all the "Bucks" and "Bobs" being that kind of man today:

Happy Father's Day!

What a crock, McCullough

I don't know if McCullough invented these people or not, but he sure tries to use them to show us what a wonderful guy he (McCullough) is.

Then of course he has to use Buck and Bob to smear Obama, as well as his friends the campus communists, socialists, and leftists.

Tell us, McCullough, which one, Buck or Bob, made you such a dishonest hate-monger?

Great Article Ken McCullough

I wish we had a Man and a Statesman for President, instead of a 'Punk'.

Harmony
Dr. Douglas, are you a conservative wearing sheep's clothing? If not, you are delusional or just plain stupid.

It either of those apply, just foist your nonsensical garbage on some liberal garbage heap. Better yet, use your computer time to learn how to scrapbook. That should keep you out of our hair.

Scrapbooking is creative and has long-lasting results, memories. Try it!

Harmony
Get lost, Douglas.

Retired Greek
As has been often said by wise minds, Obama does not belong in our White House. His political experience is nil, as is any other pertinent qualifications we deserve in a President.

His election was a huge mistake. We knew that before Election Day, and now we watch him and the democrats giggle in glee as they proceed to unleash their socialist agenda on the U.S.A.

Retired Greek
"...instead of a Punk"

Does that make Michelle Obama a Punkette? Of course!

Here is my point, again
Apart from the self-homage, this would have been a decent article if McCullough hadn't used these men to smear Obama.

He basically said three things about Obama, all of which are wildly dishonest:

1) That Obama was " taken in by the campus communists, socialists, and leftists". NOT TRUE.

2) That Obama "asserted that America and Islam were one and the same." NOT TRUE.

3) That Obama has no "love of country" in his heart, but instead a "need to blame her". NOT TRUE.

Why does McCullough have to lie regarding EVERYTHING he says about Obama? Because he wants his readers to hate Obama.
This is what he does in every one of his dishonest, hatemongering columns.

Do you really like being manipulated in this way?

Dr. Douglas the unwashed/unlearned
The Dr. Douglas PSA
Once again, I observe several TH posters have responded to Dr. Douglas. Thus, it's time once again for The Dr. Douglas Public Service Announcement:

Dr. Douglas once posted that his own university, Oregon State, was too poor to hire teaching assistants. In fact, as I learned in 5 minutes on the OSU website, OSU does indeed hire TAs. They also recognize and negotiate with the TAs collective bargaining unit. And OSU has a special award to recognize excellence among TAs.

I just want to remind everyone who's done Dr. D the courtesy of responding to him that the man is either a hopeless ignoramus, a pathological liar, an utter fool, or some combination of all 3.

The preceding was a public service announcement courtesy of Doc Liberty. As always, we thank you for your support.

For dr. Douglas and ilk
When Obama took office in January he had a net 28 approval rating. Here is what it is today:

"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 34% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-three percent (33%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +1 (see trends). "

The guy is down 27 points in 6 months.

Dr. Doulglas is identified as a liberal. They are 19% of the population, and the strain of the liberals Douglas claims as his, is less than 5%, and marginalized by most Americans.

5% or less of the population think like Dr. Douglas. Most Americans would rather have a colonoscopy than be associated with the likes of Dr. Douglas.

Dr. Douglas has reached the pinnacle of liberalism. His very name (last) is now a banned word at TH. Same as any four letter word.

Congratulations Douglas!

Anderson659
Dr. Douglas' very name is banned? This has got to be the ultimate tribute, the pinnacle of recognition. Doubtless we are on a slippery slope here. How long before dooglederry, boogerberry and other unkind shots at a pretentious a$$ are also banned. Notify the ACLU, somebody. The first Amendment is being trashed.

Liberals didn't Like first Creation

In the beginning God created the Universe and created a man and woman.

This made Liberals very angry and they considered God's creation a 'Bad Move'.

Man and woman found that little on the Earth was suited for their survival and they had to work hard to meet their needs.

This made Liberals even angrier, because everything wasn't given to them.

God told the man and woman to procreate and have children.

Liberals began calling children 'Mistakes', because they didn't like responsibilities and more work, so this made Liberals even angrier and they began exterminating as many babies as possible to soothe their anger.

The man and woman found they were 'Different', in their roles and sexuality, this made Liberals even angrier and they began exchanging roles and called themselves 'Metrosexual' and 'Feminist' instead of man and woman.

God told the man and the woman to bond together and become 'One in Marriage' forsaking all others.

This angered Liberals even more and they began choosing to become Homosexuals and not procreate, so that they wouldn't have the little 'Mistakes' and they exchanged 'Love' for 'Lust'.

Liberals began calling this exchange 'Normal Behavior' and God's plan for men and women 'Abnormal'.

God created mankind equal, with 'Inalienable Rights' and this made Liberals insane with rage.

Liberals began sorting out humans and placing them in classes and categories where some classes of humans were more 'Equal than Others' and determined they would decide 'Rights'.

Liberals began 'Stealing' from the producers and those who worked hard, made good decisions and lived by God's directives and giving those 'Stolen Goods' to the indolent and those who refused to work and make good decisions.

Liberals began calling this stealing for 'Equal Outcomes', Patriotic, and a 'Sacrifice for the Common Good'.

Liberals then looked at what they had created and called it 'Social Justice'.

Something My Grandfather taught Me

Anytime you run from responsibility, you will stumble.

Great sentiments, Mr. McCullough!!
Thanks for an inspiring Father's Day column.

And my chapeau is off to Retired Geek for one of the best comments
to date: Liberals Didn't Like First Creation. Excellent work!!

Happy Father's Day everybody!!

Thanks...
That was a beautiful story, Kevin. Your Grandpas were amazing. If only more people could learn from them. How much better off we'd be if Obama knew people like them.

Obama "Change" -> Indentured Servants

An indentured servant is a form of debt bondage worker.

Historically 'Indentured Servants' were required to work a specific number of years, usually (3 to 7), but the 'Hope' Obama brings with his 'Change', is that the 'Indentured Servants' will only serve from April 15 of one year to April 15 of the next.

The 'Indentured Servitude' class or 'Collective' that Barack Obama is creating, will only be a segment of the American Citizens, comprised of those who willingly work in an attempt to provide for themselves and their families - all others are exempt.

The children of the 'Indentured Servant Class' automatically inherit the 'Debt Bondage' of their parents.

Barack Obama hails this 'Indentured Collective' as Patriotic and a 'Sacrifice for the Common Good'.

This 'Collective' is quite similar to 'Share Cropping', where the worker is allowed to keep a small portion of their labor for personal use.

Barack Obama is NOW destroying the American farmer and food supply, by with holding water to 100,000 square miles of the most fertile land on Earth in California.

The control of the 'Food Supply' is necessary to Barack Obama, so that he can ration enough food for the 'Indentured Servants' to remain alive and work.

Those who are NOT in the 'Indentured Servant Collective' will become the owners and operators, of the 'Indentured Servitude Collective'.

This is but one small aspect of the 'Hope and Change' Barack Obama is bringing to America.

Kevin two points
First: good thing there was actually work available that paid enough to support a family

Second:

"Because of the nature of life in those days, both men had their educations interrupted. Neither of them ever had the chance to darken the doors of Harvard University for even a visit, much less to attend."

This simply is not true at all. They both, for the first time in their existence, had the opportunity to attend college or other training. Thousands upon thousands of their generation sacrificed to attend college and work for a better future. In fact the point that can be made is those thousands are responsible for this country's success since WWII.

The doofuss is at it again... Presuming

to actually know all the circumstances as to why "Neither of them ever had the chance to darken the doors of Harvard University for even a visit, much less to attend."

However, that wasn't the point anyway.

But then when did the doof ever actually get the point?

Anne

The doofuss is at it again... Presuming ..."

No that is the point both men chose to live as they did. Education was available. Also, work that could support a family was available. Both situations you conservatives eliminated and hopefully we can return.

Simplistic Mind of Barack Obama

Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem

Roughly translated, All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.

Raising the deficit, regardless of whom and regardless of why - simply drives down the value of the dollar.

The governments deficit spending, whether Democrat, Republican or a joining of the two, is counterproductive, because the gains of the Keynesian approach is usually erased by the ensuing inflation.

Analogous to that thinking is charging more on your credit card, in an attempt to reduce the previously accumulated debt.

Barack Obama like most Liberals, never analyze consequences nor periodically measure results.

Barack Obama approaches every problem with the 'Not So Hidden' agenda of Marxist/Socialism and the naivety of a child who believes the world orbits them.

Time to wake up
What a wonderful story!Men like Buck and Bob should be examples to the liberal cry-babies of the world, like Obama. McCullough spoke the truth about Obama. Obama is a marxist who only has one goal........to destroy the U.S.A. People are starting to wake up though. Rasmussen reports Obama's approval rating is 32% while his disapproval rating is 34%, giving Obama a -2 presidential rating. Come on, America! Wake on up, you sleepyheads! It's not too late to wake up and smell the coffee and get this community organizer out of the Whitehouse!

doofuss the witless still presuming

"Education was available. Also, work that could support a family was available. Both situations you conservatives eliminated and hopefully we can return."

YES, education and work were available, but that didn't necessarily mean that they could do both.

And, exactly HOW did the Conservatives eliminate either??? lol

BTW, your guy Obozo is doing a pretty good job eliminating a record number of jobs and in only six months.

A FAILURE in record time!

More Obama Background

Barack Obama's membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ has been widely written about and his chosen 'Mentor', Jeremiah Wright who Barack Obama also chose to be his 'Spiritual Adviser' - little has been said or written about - that a significant portion of the membership of TUCCC - were also practicing Muslims.

Further, Jeremiah Wright himself was once a practicing Muslim.

Barack Obama as a child attended Sunday School classes where his Mother was a member of the Unitarian Universalist denomination, which was was strongly tied to the Students for a Democratic Society, or SDS which Bill Ayers was a leader of at the time Barack Obama attended.

First Unitarian served as a sanctuary for draft dodgers and war protesters.

Carl Davidson (Marxist anti-war activist) along with Michael Klonsky (leader of the New Communist Movement) helped Barack Obama organize and conduct the Obama - 'Iraq Anti-War Rally' in 2002 and Davidson was also one of SDS’s three elected national officers in 1968.

Last time I checked, Davidson was serving as the webmaster for 'Progressives for Obama', where Tom Hayden (former husband of Jane Fonda) and former officer in the SDS, is a featured writer.

I have posted about Tom Hayden's attack piece on Sarah Palin here on Town Hall several times.

You can read more about Barack Obama's radical and communist alliances on my blog which I posted in October, 2008.

http://hisfacts.blogtownhall.com/2008/10/21/obamas_radical_ and_communist_alliances.thtml

And doofuss, sorry about the BAD NEWS

See Gracie935 #22, and the new Gallup Poll,
40 percent of Americans identify themselves as conservative,

35 percent say they are moderate

21 percent answer to the liberal description.

Liberals are outnumbered by almost four to one.

Looks like the wheels are coming off Obozo's wagon.

anderson659, Retired Geek, Anne et al
As today is Father's Day, it brings back to mind something a former pastor of mine once said.

Whenever my former pastor would meet a man who would tell him that he was an agnostic/atheist, my pastor would immediately ask that man what kind of a relationship he had had with his father. Almost without exception, my pastor related, the man would tell him that he had either a very poor or even non-existent relationship with his father.

What's the connection, you may ask? Simple: if a person hasn't been able to experience or conceive of a loving EARTHLY father, he's going to have a very hard time believing he has a loving HEAVENLY father.

Kevin McCullough is right, it's too bad that Barack Obama couldn't have had a Buck or a Bob in his life who filled the void that Obama's own earthly father left in his life that was filled by radicals instead.

Take a look at the last two Democratic presidents we've had: Clinton and Obama. Both the products of homes without a strong father in it. And look at what that lack of fathering engendered in both men. I wonder what kind of father Dr. Douglas had.

By the way, Retired Geek, since you've said you were a Marxist at one point in your life, and since you've quoted on this site things your GRANDFATHER taught you but not, it seems, your FATHER, if you don't mind talking about it (and if you don't want to, I'll understand), was your relationship with your OWN father like what my former pastor related that he discovered with agnostics/atheists he happened to encounter?

Oh, and to you men out there who have raised your children in the fear and nurture and admonition of the Lord: GOD BLESS YOU THIS FATHER'S DAY!

Oh? A lot of men and women could the college campuses were filled with "married student" housing

"..And, exactly HOW did the Conservatives eliminate either???..."

They crushed decent wages when you crushed the unions. No job should ever be offered that did not offer enough of a wage to live frugally

"...BTW, your guy Obozo is doing a pretty good job eliminating a record number of jobs and in only six months."

Really? You mean stopping the Bush Depression from becoming a great depression? The jobs and the economy fall squarely into your lap not Obama's. The American people know it. And by the way lots and lots of conservatives like RINO's voted for Obama. Your problem is you don't realize that you limbawl/Palin reactionaries are barely, if that, 20%. But dream on

Oh doofuss, "A lot of men and women

could the college campuses were filled with 'married student' housing"

But, that didn't mean EVERYONE was able.

"You mean stopping the Bush Depression from becoming a great depression?"

YOU'RE still in HUGE DENIAL about how and why we got where we were at the end of Pres Bush's admin.

YOU'RE still in HUGE DENIAL about how your libs were pushing their housing/mortgage agenda.

We're in far worse shape jobs and economically now as a DIRECT RESULT of what Obozo has done in the past six months, therefore it FALLS SQUARELY into Obama's Marxist lap.

SO, SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP!

Hal
FYI, the Bush recession had nowhere NEAR the levels of unemployment and stagnation of the Great Depression. Carter's recession was closer, with interest rates of around 19-21%, higher unemployment and of course the 'misery index'.

Get off the WalMart plane ride you're so fond of and either go read a history book or have an older American who actually lived through the Depression explain it to you.

Standshisground et al

My father died just as I was entering my teen age years.

My Maternal Grandfather took over the male role model for me and my two younger brothers.

My family were Humanist/Atheists going back into the early 1800's at least.

They became Marxists in the early 1900's.

I was already steeped in Humanist/Atheism thinking before my Father died.

And it's going to get worse!

Hal,
As a native Michigander I have been FORCED to join unions in order to get jobs before joining the Navy and being accepted at Annapolis. They did NOTHING, I REPEAT, NOTHING, for me but take a big chunk of my paycheck once a month.
I did have one job while in high school that wasn't at a "Union Shop" and they paid me FAR BETTER than any of the union shops I worked at ever did.
They also allowed me to move up based on hard work and merit, which union rules forbade my union shops to do.

So I have one thing to say about your claim that I quoted above.

F**K YOU AND YOUR UNIONS!!!

Thank Obama that the bush depression was not allowed to become another great depression.

Hey Hal, SCREW your unions
Hal #### said,
"They crushed decent wages when you crushed the unions. No job should ever be offered that did not offer enough of a wage to live frugally"

"...As a native Michigander I have been FORCED to join unions in order to get jobs before joining the Navy and being accepted at Annapolis. They did NOTHING, I REPEAT, NOTHING, for me but take a big chunk of my paycheck once a month."

And guarantee your salary and benefits and that you were not harassed.

"...I did have one job while in high school that wasn't at a "Union Shop" and they paid me FAR BETTER than any of the union shops I worked at ever did..."

If they did indeed do that it was because they did not want a union. That is what I am saying when they crushed the unions they crushed all jobs too

"..They also allowed me to move up based on hard work and merit, which union rules forbade my union shops to do..."

Ah the young and the ignorant..

What a crock
Hal says,
"And guarantee your salary and benefits and that you were not harassed."

In a word, BULLSCHEIST!!
Can't you read? The UFCW DID ZERO, ZIP, NADA, NOTHING, NOT A G.D. THING FOR ME. PERIOD!!! Because I was a part timer. And I didn't need any "protection" from being harassed. ALL the union did was take my money.

Then Hal says,
"If they did indeed do that it was because they did not want a union. That is what I am saying when they crushed the unions they crushed all jobs too"

AGAIN, BULLSCHEIST!!
The company wasn't big enough for any unions to bother with, and we never saw anyone from any union even try to talk to us.

Besides, there are plenty of businesses in the Ann Arbor area that have never had unions interfering with the way they operate and they employ lots of people and pay a "frugal wage" with no problems at all. They don't need unions.

Anyone who thinks they can't get a good job and earn a decent wage without the AFL-CIO division of the DemoCRAP party to take part of their wages and give them directly to said party is an idiot and doesn't deserve to have a job.

They'd certainly never get a job from me if I was running a company. I've seen how people who depend on a stinking union to get and help them keep a job work once hired.
THEY DON'T!! THEY SIT ON THEIR LAZY BUTTS AND WATCH THE CLOCK, AND EXPECT TO GET PAID FOR IT.

And that's only after they report anyone who actually does work to the shop steward.

SO TAKE YOUR UNIONS AND SHOVE THEM!!

Ensign Pulver: Poor doofuss is living

in his own little made up dreamland.

While there ONCE WAS a time and place for unions, that has long gone.

I am now retired, which means I've worked a LOT of years. I made very good money (six figures annually in the past several years) and NOT ONE TIME did I need a union to guarantee my salary and benefits, or that I was not harassed.

The poor doof doesn't realize that BECAUSE OF unions and Obozo's taxes a LOT of jobs are headed overseas.

Ensign Pulver: Were you aware that

the one corporation that has CONSISTENTLY been NATIONALLY voted among the TOP THREE COMPANIES TO WORK is WEGMANS???

And, it just so happens that Wegmans is NON-union.

Not too long ago I was talking with a Wegmans employee who shared that whenever a union rep shows up, the EMPLOYEES run him off.

Funny you should say that Anne
Because it's exactly what my dad and both grandfathers said. "Unions were once a good thing, but their time has come and gone."

After the bad experiences I had with the UFCW, and one other union I was forced to join to get a job, I WILL NEVER voluntarily seek a job at any place that displays a "Union Shop" sign anywhere on their premises.

I also want to say thanks for the tip about Wegmans. Maybe once I'm out of the Navy I'll look them up when I'm looking for work.

Unions & Corporate Taxes...........
........are the reasons many corporations have gone out of country and taken our jobs with them. Union thugs and their minions will not admit that, though.

Call any company for information and you get someone from India or some other country with an accent so strong it is hard to talk to them.

NAFTA is also the cause of job loss, but unions demand for high salaries and perks and high corporate taxes are other reasons.

unions
One thing the unions did do was help build Las Vegas, or at least their pension funds did. The mob and the union bosses were as tight as Obama and congress at one time.

Anne
"Date: Jun 21, 2009 - 9:45 PM EST...While there ONCE WAS a time and place for unions, that has long gone..."

OH it has when stores have been convicted of locking employees in building overnight and forcing them to work without pay? When many "wages" are so low that two jobs won't provide enough pay to support a family? Nope we still need unions. The pendulum has swung way too far to the employers.

"...I am now retired, which means I've worked a LOT of years. I made very good money (six figures annually in the past several years) and NOT ONE TIME did I need a union to guarantee my salary and benefits, or that I was not harassed."

Really please do tell me do you collect social security and have medicare? Only six?

"The poor doof doesn't realize that BECAUSE OF unions and Obozo's taxes a LOT of jobs are headed overseas."

Why do you think we have all these European and Asian manufacturing companies here? They don't have to pay benefits like a minimum months vacation and severe penalties for dismissing employees. They look at our workers and laugh.

Way to go Hal
You just made a BLISTERING CONDEMNATION

You just made a BLISTERING CONDEMNATION of all the burdensome regulations and taxes that our government keeps imposing on our manufacuring companies, which is one of the biggest things driving them offshore.

If the government would keep its nose out of things it has no business in we wouldn't be losing so damned many manufacturing companies and jobs.

YUP and we would have lots more jobs paying very little for long hours and complete subservience. I don't know about you but I think it is wrong to live to work instead of working to live.

harmony about douglASS
He's basically an idiot trying to pass of as a moron (but lacks the requisite IQ: by archaic classification, moron exceeds idiot in that criterion).

Barry won't never get it
When you are Granny's favorite little boy and can do no wrong who never worked a sweaty day in his life folks like Buck and Bob. I'm half way between. Started working full time at 15, but got a scholarship to SMU. Lost it, worked at hard labor until I went back and payed my own way at 31. I lived with the pampered babies, but never one worse than little Barry. What a pathetic waste of skin.
