Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

As I sat in bed in the wee hours of Saturday morning, the Lovely Bride long having drifted off to sleep by my side and only the bloodshot inducing glow of my laptop staring back at me in the darkness - my stomach sank. On the screen in front of me was the latest reminder of what most of the nation had put behind us some seven years ago. I say latest because the signs have been many, and this week came fast and furious.

I remember the day George W. Bush was sworn in as President in his first term, I wondered aloud how he could stand to share the same car to and from the swearing in ceremony with the outgoing first "couple." I suppose that when the world came crashing down around us on September 11 one of the real benefits such tragedy left us with was that there was no need to be reminded any longer of the unseemly deceit, acts of marital infidelity, the brutal use of absolute power to bully the press, and worst of all having our leaders point their fingers at us and boldly tell us untrue things - merely to save their own hide.

If Hillary Clinton becomes president - get ready for everything we hated about our government to come springing back to life.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer's less than robustly honest form of debate engineering reminded us of the old idea that when it came to being bought and sold in favor of the Clinton's - CNN's brand was head and shoulders above the crowd.

The now thrice confessed to manipulation of questions by the Clinton camp as it related to campaign rallies, or even supposedly non-partisan debates took us back to the reports of the same type when the "charming Clinton" was the candidate.

Sure by the time Sandy Berger committed a felony offense of stealing national documents by stuffing them in his boxers, so many years had gone by that a number of younger adults were saying, "hey I sorta remember him." But the affable fumbling of "gosh I just don't know what I did with those things" answer seemed to satisfy as an explanation. Yet a more loyal task-taker for the steely-eyed Clintons was never found.

The reunification this week of Sydney Blumenthal to the Clinton camp was another sickening moment. In many ways Blumenthal's performance before the Ken Starr investigators made Bill Clinton look truly amateurish. The ease with which Blumenthal was able to sell falsehoods, ever changing recollections of things as they had happened, and his willingness to just bald-face lie sent shivers down the spines of those who watched it. Yet since less than one-third of the American people even understood what the true nature of the investigations were all about, America yawned and went on its way.

Even fellow liberals are decrying the underhanded, back-stage, off-the-record informal strategizing that James Carville is now bringing back to the primary election cycle.

So what was it on the screen at 3am that made me feel so sick?

A blurb if you will, just a tidbit really, in the newest Robert Novak column that simply detailed the discovery of a "file" that Hillary is keeping on Barack Obama. The "scandalous information" of which she is promising not to use (for now) for the sake of a unified party heading into the general election. Of course if Obama wins in Iowa and New Hampshire look for that same "scandalous information" to make it into the hands of CNN staffers, who just couldn't quite tell you how they came to be in possession of it.

The idea of secret files reminded us that when Hillary was only First Lady that she had already proven herself willing to play by rules that only she had to abide by. Thus she has never been held accountable or even been made to answer questions related to miraculously profitable land deals in Arkansas. Mysterious suicides of "friends" like Vince Foster whose suicide weapon as found in the hand opposite of the one he would've used evidently didn't seem to be important enough for her to need to respond to - nor did any of the other 50 plus "friends of Bill and Hillary." She was neck deep in the mail room, travel office, and security personnel scandals that hit the Clinton White House. These were scandals where long time staffers lost jobs and lives were ruined. Hillary even led the way in making it harder for the Secret Service to immediately be able to tell who had what level security clearance in the White House because the desire to not hurt feelings of people who shouldn't be in rooms they didn't have clearance to be in.

But none of the scandals were bolder and publicly vexing than the fact that whole cases of FBI files of Clinton opponents or antagonists were missing and mysteriously popped up in Hillary's possession.

The fact that many of the names found in such files were also under special audit from the IRS - many for several years in a row - under the Clinton regime troubled the few Americans who followed the news closely enough to understand it.

The willingness that such executive power would be focused to abuse their ideological enemies is revolting and repulsive.

In the years since Hillary has repackaged herself as the "moderate" Senator from New York thus further distancing herself from the trouble of the Arkansas days. But make no mistake - everything ugly associated with the word Clinton is back.

Rigged appearances, intimidation of the press, and the discovery that research hacks are even now sitting in some campaign office basement putting together strategy hits for the assassination of their current opponents - its all back.

On a side note we should be thankful on some level, because of the Clinton's we now have talk radio, The Drudge Report, Fox News Channel, and forums like TownHall.com.

We should not be surprised, but we must walk through this election cycle with our eyes open. And if we are not ready for the Hillary Police State (asbestos pantsuits required) then democratic primary voters best speak up and Iowa would be a great place to start.

Ooooookay.... fine.....
Then the GOP should really consider nominating a good, strong, conservative candidate who can rally ALL the troops, and by that I don't mean Giuliani or McCain.

Otherwise, buy your Maalox by the case.

ANTHONY PELLICANO
The Clintons, especially Hillary were notorious to hire privater investigators to do their dirty work and root out or intimidate their enemies. This has been reported in the media before. One of these was the Notorious and incarcerated LA private investigator, Anthony Pellicano.

According to reports, he did some work for the Clintons. Only he knows what it is. Now he is disgraced; up to a point. He holds the key to his cell in his hands. All he has to do is give the FBI the codes to his files- which he refuses to do.

Maybe you media types should try to interview him regarding his work for the Clintons.

Clinton News Network
Hillary will never convince me she has any stand or values for anything - anytime she's faced with a real question, the moderator is mud-slinging, although any other candidate answers...
Wolf - too bad you don't matter - we all know your agenda

The klinton purpose
If madam klinton gets back into the WH, we won't be dealing with the klinton's penchant to 'loot and scoot'. That phase is over - they've moved way up the crime curve. We'd be dealing with an unchecked quest for power we've yet to witness in this country.

Between them, they would make war on the opposition in this country while the masses would be controlled with big brother propaganda. Rule of Law? Forget it - the appearance of such would merely be maintained.

This country would not survive another dose of the klintons as a free constitutional republic.

"We'd be dealing with an unchecked quest for power we've yet to witness in this country."

What about the conquer and abuse of power your witnessing right now? Just because poppa-Bush was more subtle (or milk-toast) than his maniacal progeny, it's still been a hunger for power that happened to be acquired by the majority vote conveniently-enough from a state his brother was governor of. Whatever happened to him, anyway.

"This country would not survive another dose of the klintons as a free constitutional republic."

It's surviving, now? New Orleans? Home loan debacle? Unemployment? And, that's just a sample of domestic incompetence.

Soon-to-be President Clinton's foreign policy might have to be looked at with some skepticism, but she will have domestic issues resolved.

Teflon Coated
One thing the Klintons are good at is maintaining buffers between themselves and their scandalous activities. There always seems to be a convenient fall guy (girl) to take the heat when their corruption is exposed. I sure wouldn’t want to be an underling in the Klinton Crime Syndicate!

Klinton friendly judicial systems and far left media also play a major part ensuring the Klintons remain Teflon Coated.

Not to mention, many in the masses have become too jaded to even think about Klinton scandals and corruption or are so naïve they are easily programmed to look the other way.

Sure, most (if not all) politicians are more than happy to point out their opponents’ shortcomings; however, the Klintons have mastered the art of character assignation not only perpetrated against their opponents, but innocent people who get in the way!

Only mentality unstable, incompetent morons have such exaggerated needs to get the dirt on people! The Klintons share their despicable behaviors with such giants as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Saddam Hussein!

if the name H Rap Brown rings any bells with her

"It's surviving, now? New Orleans? Home loan debacle? Unemployment? And, that's just a sample of domestic incompetence."

New Orleans? A Democratic muck-up from the beginning!

Home loan debacle? Foundation laid in the Clinton years!

Unemployment? Historical lows!

Pathetic argument!

Tito
Tito should crawl back under what ever slimy rock he came out from . I am sure he will just love this comment, but it won't matter to me because I just won't look at any more from him.
What a jerk!

Tito
Consider: wouldn't you know that a poster with a communist's handle smugly dismisses the seriousness of the klinton's quest for power.

Tito - how and what brutal role do you envision yourself in a totalitarian state? Obviously, you consider yourself too untalented and ill equiped to make it under a system that rewards individual accomplishment. What social pathologies are you plagued with - sociopath, psychopath or just plain psychotic?

It is your single-sentence, if that, comments merely redirecting the blame to President Clinton without any basis that is pathetic.

You're going to hate the next eight years merely out of stubbornness. You will be so embroiled in resentment that you well deny yourself the joy of the improvement of your country. And, you call yourself a christian.

Your loss.

I'll bask enough for both of us.

grubby07 writes: Tito

"wouldn't you know that a poster with a communist's handle smugly dismisses the seriousness of the klinton's quest for power"

Don't be afraid. It's just a handle. And, I smugly dismissed Georgie for his quest for power and his backwood mentality. I believe you bible-thumpers call it forgiveness.

"what brutal role do you envision yourself in a totalitarian state?"

Probably working, on my days off enjoying life, certainly not stoking up my angst to spew on conservative websites. You'll probably find it brutal because of your stubborn resentment, but that will be your problem.

I can't beleive you find solace in the way things are in this administration. Any of your family over in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. I'd ask about friends but you all are so bitter, I surmise you don't have any.

"What social pathologies are you plagued with - sociopath, psychopath or just plain psychotic?"

Certainly not bitterness because of an incompetent president that you elected. You sound so angry, the you should probably answer your own question, but I doubt you know your diagnosis. Or maybe you do and your am meds just haven't kicked in, yet. "Up the voltage." lol

It's amazing how all of you automatically go to the mental stability of someone who disagrees with you yet it was perfectly all right with you that Reagan was a vegetable his second term, but as long as he was a conservative.

The Clintons and Tito
Tito, have you forgotten, or did you not know, the President cannot take the National Guard away from a State. The Governor must ASK him to take them. (once taken they cannot any longer shoot to kill).
Wake up. Pres. Bush did NOT cause huricane Katrina.
Jeb Bush has been a good Governor and is choosing NOT to be in national politicas along with many others who are retiring.
You need a wake-up call on too many things for anyone to be able to help you. digger

Doris writes: The Clintons and Tito
Even if I did need help, which I don't, I debate you all day on an hour's sleep. It's too easy. Just feed in to your anger and you turn into total ignoramuses. When did I ever say President Bush caused Hurricane Katrina? That statement alone makes any point I have ever made against conservatism. But, here's another little nugget. Why is it that the careers of nearly everyone associated with Bush comes to a crashing halt? Brother-Jeb retired before he was disgraced, that's all. He's hoping that nobody noticed that the disgrace had already reared its ugly head merely by guilt-by-association.

"friends" like Vince Foster
On the Clinton's body trail:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/bodycount.asp

In my mind there's not much difference between wholly unsubstantiated insinuation and bearing false witness. McCullough should be ashamed.

TITO - Unemployment? New Orleans?
Are you serious?

New Orleans? What do you read every day - the Daily Kos? My Gosh man if you're going slander the President at least try to do it in a way where you don't appear to be the ignoramus you claim everyone else is.

New Orleans - would have 1300 more people alive today if the ego-maniacal Mayor had followed the instructions on how to save lives during a Hurricane. Hmmm 1300 dead, and 2000 buses unused - in violation of Louisiana law... AND THAT'S BUSH'S FAULT?

And check the facts - Unemployment has remained at or below 5% for the past like four years. This in most economists minds qualifies as FULL EMPLOYMENT given the nature of how people transition from job to job.

Put the Hillary bong down my friend... the drag is starting to show in your thinking patterns...

The next 4 years.
Do you want a free country or one which is run by terrorists in which none of us would dare express our opinions.

Back out of this war and we are doomed. They will be here faster than you can blink an eye.

It is time to figure outmwhich Republican to vote for and I am still not sure but most of them are better than any of the Dems.

Digger

Y'know,
I dislike the Clintons probably about as much as Kevin or any of the conservative posters on this site; however, some of these comments are just over the top. My dislike of the Clintons is based, I believe, on fact, not fantasy. They are died-in-the-wool elitist liberals (government knows best what you need and how to spend your money) and proven liars. They both have the morals of alley cats. I do not, however, see them as having some nefarious purpose of bringing down our Republic for their own power madness - I believe that they are both stupid enough to honestly think that their policies are correct for America. If Hillary is elected president, we'll know for sure that God is done with America - we're on our own.

To KMC
Mr. McCullough,

I'm pleased you monitor the reaction to your articles. But if you're going to post comments, please have the courage do so under your full name.

And please try to stay above the fray. Accusing your opponents of hitting the "Hillary bong" does nothing to further your cause.

Corruption
Why would almost half the Country vote for someone who has a proven track record of being of questionable character and deals daily in corruption? What does this say for our Nation? Also, how can intelligent primates cast a vote for someone who will not make a decision or answer a legitimate question?

Well, throw me to the Lions if I'm wrong but, to me it appears half the Voting Public has a desire for someone to blanket the Oval Office with diabolical deeds and associates again.

As it stands now, you have Hillary 'way to go Sandy', Barak 'bring em home now......maybe' and John Boy 'I can talk to dead babies' leading the pack of eligibles. Can I get a witness??

Folks, I kid you not! One of these will oppose the GOP nominee. Gettin' close to praying time the way I see it.

Doris writes: The next 4 years.
"Do you want a free country or one which is run by terrorists in which none of us would dare express our opinions."

Is this a trick question? lol They have no plan to leave us alive to dictate us around. So our expression of opinion option will be moot.

"Back out of this war and we are doomed. They will be here faster than you can blink an eye."

They're already here, they're just stocking up for something bigger; maybe all of the stadiums or water supplies, something like that.

Tito
And, one more thing......why are some of you guys even recognizing Tito's responses as anything argumentative? Don't fuel his disconnect with reality or try and define his reasoning. This won't work with obsessive/compulsive disorder. Just ignore.

Kevin McCullough's B.S.
Well Kevin McCullough if things don't go quite the way you want and Hilary is nominated, Go ahead and commit suicide. It would be your easy way out, and God forbid if she became President.
Just think, if a conservative were to become President, you would be out of a job. Not a sole to bash. But than, I would have to wonder about that becouse that is your job.
Have a nice day.

Aw. C'mon. Give me 10% of your income and I'll fill you with two hours of false-hope, each week. That's what you really want. There's YOUR reality.

Baggage
Whatever Hillary may bring, it won't be new.
Could you possibly be more burdened with the
past? She's way past her freshness date. I've
been watching the Clinton's (all of them) since
I switched party in '92. From D to R. I ended up
voting for Perot. Bill and Hillary give me the willies. Good news: the Doctor says your gaining
weight. Bad news, the tumor's back. She is just
mailignant to the political discussion. She hasn't had an original sincere thought since her
days in the party.

On the Other Hand
McCullough wondered how Bush could share a car with the evil Clintons, then we got Bush:

1) Illegal immigration has been encouraged.
2) American jobs have been outsourced wholesale and executives rewarded for doing so.
3) With our regulatory agencies defunded and emasculated, industry is now free to increase profit at the cost of the public health.
4) Tainted foreign products flood our markets.
5) Medical research has been brought under the control of extremist religious ideology.
6) Our Department of Justice was turned into a partisan operation where the law was subverted.
7) Our international treaties were dishonored.
8) More Americans lost health insurance.
9) A GOP operative was planted in the White House press corps to sway news "reports".
10) Funding was diverted from legitimate social science agencies to faith-based agencies.

(Go to Part II because there's more.)

Hillary
Isn't about Leadership. Her style is the antithesis of good leadership. Her mien is
"command and Control" which is good, if you're military. I'm actually complimentary here,
just not about her leadership skills in a democracy. She should have been a field general,
I don't see her as President. Who's the man?
Prediction: if you want out of Iraq, don't vote
for Ms. Clinton.

Josip Broz Tito .....
In addition to being one of the moveon.org minions assigned to monitor and respond to postings on message boards like Townhall.com and assuming you actually believe the tripe you are spewing....you are simply a fool to be ignored.

On the Other Hand, Part II
11) Having inherited a surplus, Bush ran up a deficit, funding his war on borrowed money.
12) A private family medical decision was usurped by a recalled Congress on a Sunday night.
13) The Medicare Drug bill forbids negotiation for price, thus profiting Big Pharma.
14) Troops were sent to war improperly equipped.
15) A wrong housing philosophy (make borrowing attractive to facilitate a more Republican-oriented "ownership society" has resulted in meltdown of the real estate market.
16) Privately contracted quasi-troops are being used, resulting in criminal activity in Iraq.
17) The separation of powers doctrine has been replaced by one of unaccountable executive power.
18) Competence has been replaced by political loyalty, following a 1-01 Heritage Foundation policy directive sent to the new President Bush.
19) While billions go to recruit and retain our troops, VA medical care for them after they're wounded has been a national disgrace.
20) And, oh yes, Bush took us to war on an ever-changing rationale, killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians as well as thousands of young Americans.

Tito, careful you don't
get a sunburn with all that basking you are going to do if Hillery gets elected!

Dishonest
Compare and contrast is lazy and dishonest.
I thought we were writing about Clinton? The
first move of a dishonest man is to change the subject.

Airfoil: I nominate you for quote
of the day ("She's way past her freshness date.")

Excellent!

Hillary Clinton
I once read a quote by John Kerry wherein he said that Iran should be given everything it needs to become a nuclear power just to see what they did with it. If they did something bad, then we could deal with it at that time.

Statements like this have led me to believe that once the democrats are back in charge of all 3 branches of government, they will destroy America. They're too stupid not to.

They have no idea of how the real world looks, and they have no intention of learning. They have no common sense. They have no concept whatsoever of the terrorist threat, thinking that once they're back in power, they'll be able to "fix" things. Their arrogance is breathtaking in its scope.

Is America going to have to be brought to its knees before the American public sees that?

I just don't understand BDS.
BDS suffers are driven to lunatic levels by their hatred. They say the most inane things, make-up false facts and promote them as the be-all-end-all of the discussion.

I have issues with the President, but I respect the office. Bill Clinton gave anyone who wanted to plenty of reasons to hate him, but most people who dislike him don't hate him with intensity of the BDS'ers. I simply don't respect him for the overt dishonesty he brought into the Oval Office. He lost me when he waved his finger in our faces and proceeded to tell a bald-faced lie.

Hillary was part and parcel of that administration, but she does not get credit for being a responsible member of it. She does not have sufficient experience to be president, period. As more information comes out about her heavy-handed personality and her refusal to engage in pointed questioning, she becomes even less attractive as a candidate.

Kevin is lying, Its proven UNTRUE
More conspiracy theories? People laugh & mock the 9/11 truthers as they should be rejected and ridiculed.

BUT RIGHT WING NUT JOBS like Kevin McCullough with Vince Foster murdered, secret FBI file bull are as crazy .

WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HEAR ABOUT IT ONLY TOWNHALL? MSM bias? No because its NOT TRUE.

The FBI files the Clinton's supposedly had in the past? Its a dirty lie.

Investigated by FBI and independent Gov agencies and found 100% FAULTS!!!!! DO YOUR HOME WORK PEOPLE.

Bush & the 109th congress (the GOP lead one) has been the most corrupt, incompetent, lazy, immoral perverted group in history. Bush has a 33% approval, Cheney a 18% approval for a reason.

FOX NEWS? Ha ha Rudy Giuliani has Fox NEWS & CEO Roger Ailes in his pocket.

Fox threatened GOP wantabees not to use Fox debate footage, everyone except Rudy. McCain had a good sound bite but Fox told him NOT to use it. Fox caught wind this story was being written so Rudy got served but still ignored it. Check his web site.

Rudy tried the give NY public access TV channel to Fox News, but was blocked correctly by a judge.

Fox tried to silence Judith Regan about Bernard kerik by firing her and distroying her by LIES they usually tell of woman, they’re B’s, H’s & Emotional.

CHECK OUT THE lawsuit. Fox News and Guliani are DIRTY!

Clintons are the most scrutinized people on the planet & have been found guilty of NOTHING. Yea Bill lied about getting a hummer. 99% of the men on the planet would do the same. (Yea I know you are conservative & prefect like Mark Foley, Larry Creg, Dave Vitter, Randy Cunningham..)

TOWNHALL? All I get is right wing propaganda, hate Clinton & Dems & NO TRUTH ABOUT THE GOP & BUSH.

You and your fellow libs posting here are having a serious problem with focus.

I'm trying to write this as slowly as I can... try to keep up:

George W. Bush is not running in 2008.

As to the SUBJECT of this column, if you really believe Hillary Clinton would make a great president, ask yourself this question:

If her name was simply Hillary Rodham and had never been a Clinton, what has she ever accomplished to make her the front-runner for the Dem party?

She would be a fringe candidate, polling barely higher than Kucinich.

Your severe BDS affliction is clouding whatever cognitive skills might exist in the liberal mind.

Kevin Fox and GOP LIE DIRTY TRICKS
>The idea of secret files reminded us that when
>Hillary was only First Lady that she had >already proven herself willing to play by rules >that only she had to abide by.

Lies told by liars. Its not true and this is a dirty smear, the bread & butter of the GOP. What about BUSH?

Valery Plame? They tried to distroy her. Why because they wanted to cover their lies Niger yellow cake lies they knew where lies but never retracted by the Bush Admin UNTIL CAUGHT!

Scooter LIED and the conservatives lined up and said I FEEL SORRY FOR THE LIAR. Bush Pardons his jail sentence! We know Dick Cheney or Karl Rove are the ones that should have been convicted.

ITS THE GOP PLAY BOOK AND FOX NEWS GAME PLAN TO LIE AND SMEAR AND TRY TO DISTROY! IT DISGUST ME.

Check out what Fox tried to do Judith Regan. She knew bernard kerik. Fox tried to silence her. They could not so they fired her over the OJ book deal (she was a Fox publishing). That was in retaliation for her cooperation with FED investigation.

Now Townhall allows LIES to be published. You NEVER hear any thing negative about Bush or Cheney or Rove or GOP or Iraq, ITS ALL KOOLAID ALL THE TIME.

josip broz tito,
Your name tells us everything we need to know about you. Your post is typical of the strategy you Communists have always used against the populations under your control.

You are adept at calling black white and white black, good evil and evil good, war peace and peace war. Your reference to the controversy in Florida is typical of the America's collection of Neo-comms (i.e. the Democratic Paryt)penchent for perpetuating lies about the opposition.

Just lean back, take a deep hit off the bong and repeat after me:

Do you guys ever post anything worth reading? You two are the biggest sufferers of BDS. Unfortunately theres no cure except until Bush leaves office so until that time we have to put up with your ridiculously stupid posts. You guys need a life.

I hope he has taken his blood pressure meds.

Last night he made a post under the Giuliani column which caught my attention. I wasn't sure if he was drinking and had lost his bearings or what, so I went off to his personal blog site.

I read two of his blogs and then, against my better judgment posted to him. Now, he then columned me today which is whatever you wish to make of it. He was not unkind, just his typical lost soul self.

NOW: Hear this.

I am reposting his original post from last night so that all may see why I went to his blog site.

Hillary
I would rather see Hillary get the nomination with Billy Boy as an advisor than Osama.

Osama's ties as a stealth advocate of Reverend Wright the White O'Phobe, and Muslim lover are more than a little scary.

Osama's foundational Muslim upbringing is just a scary.

His record in Illinois is a person who cannot make a decision out of fear, of being on the side of something he may have to answer to.

The Democrat party is what it is a (1) terrorist apologetic organization and a threat to our security, a party of death (abortion, and eugenics), a Gay party that will destroy the very fabric of our nation -----the family.

hornets nest
Wow this article sure stirred up a bunch of feelings. When Bill was president i sure thought (listening to other conservatives) that at the end of his term marshall law would be pronounced. I now talk to liberals who say the same about GWB. Thank goodness we live in our wonderful country with its checks and balances. I don't believe either of these men want to be dictator. I don't think Hillary wants to be either. The ideology of these 3 are just so opposite and now we are in this internet fast paced so much stuff thrown at you society. Really stirs up hardcore emotions.
The past presidents had the same inspirations to move the country into what they believed. They all made mistakes and bad decisions. Probably made a few good ones too. Guess what, we are still here.
Coming from a conservative background I am afraid of Hillary becoming president, especially when it comes to terrorism. I wonder though how much of that is fueled by the internet, and my background, and how much of it is truly real.
Sure I know her agenda, but if attacked do we really know what would happen? Do we assume to much?

Congratulations Lilly
You have flunked first grade, but don't feel bad as jet pilot joined you.

Lilly
I'm sure you will receive many retorts to your post, however, I will confine my response to your number 20, in which you claim "...Bush took us to war on an ever-changing rationale...".

This is one of those nonsensical, pre-packaged left-wing talking points that defies reason. The insistence among liberals that there should have been ONLY one big reason is beyond loony.

The Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, which passed the Senate UNANIMOUSLY, listed 12 reasons for removing Saddam from power. That's right, regime change in Iraq was the goal of EVERY US senator.

Despite this fact, we have to listen to the mind-numbingly incomprehensible liberal rant that Bush should have confined his reasons to ONE...and only ONE!!

Remarkable!!

Bush Derangement Syndrome
Given that only a little over a year is left of the Bush presidency what will all those afflicted with this disease do with their hatred? I find the hatred strange because Bush's policies on a lot of things were actually more liberal than Bill Clinton's. They both started wars with countries the liberals declared to be no threat to us. Bush expanded the welfare state while Clinton reformed welfare and took away benifits from poor people. Maybe the liberals would lighten up on him if they found out he was getting a little on the side in a back room at the White House.

Fraud Robert

The only thing that makes Fraud Robert's posts any different from the usual liberal suspects is his fraudulent claims of support for McCain - claims he uses for "cover."

Whatever charges he levels at his imagined "Commander in Chief" are pure reflections of his own dishonesty and dishonor.

At least with posters like "Lilly", what you see is what you get.

Robert
You're right, man.

Gotta get up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on you, huh?

Your brilliantly conceived comeback completely negated my point.

Remarkable!!

to Robert & Lily
I think Robert is a DAV who's afraid of losing his benefits and cowers under a psuedo name. He's definitely not active duty. OR he has been passed over for some rank he felt "entitled" to, therefore he can align himself with the mindset of Hillary.

Lily, on the other hand, is just uninformed.
1. The reason the fence is STALLED right now on the border, is because of your DEMOCRAT congress. DEMOCRATS are stalling the funds!
2. HILLARY will welcome illegals with open arms, a voter ID card, and a driver's license, if they vote for her; even jihad terrorists!
3. The reason the Troops weren't given the equipment: Congress' lack of funding.
4. BUSH has CREATED the strongest economy we've had in YEARS, B.Clinton inherited a strong economy from the Reagan administration and ran it into the ground.
5. UNEMPLOYMENT is at it's all time low!
6. I guess all the dim/libs missed the surveillance tape where Iraq moved their WOMD to Syria, while the Congress stalled when George W. Bush, OUR COMMANDER IN CHIEF called for war!
7. You & Robert the traitor are not in IRAQ & don't understand what our troops are doing! THEY fight for YOUR freedom of speech! The TROOPS FIGHT FOR the Freedom of a Nation that was held captive by a genocide dictator!
Heaven help us if there are more Roberts and Lilys in this world with their heads in their little liberal fantasy world! Liberals are raised to be political activists, conservatives are raised to be EDUCATED political activists.

As I've said in former Posts: WAKE UP AMERICA!

Hillary, her husband ...
the dicky waver, Jorge, Rudy, Bloomberg, Arnold,
Kennedy, Reid, Boxer, Pelosi.
All represent the 'American' people. They are the elected agents of a people whose most compelling argument amongst one another is who should be first at the government trough.
Trash arguing over who will be in charge of more trash.
A resurrected Franklin Roosevelt would be elected in this country today before a resurrected George Washington. There is something in the nature of things that suggests mercy and justice. Mercy, being unacceptable as we feel no religious compulsion beyond some Star Wars theism, (panentheism), I think we can anticipate a severe self inflicted justice.
Everything is happening as it should and must. The shame is that you won't even be afforded the honor of dying bravely. Who are the heroes of freedom in the Russias, or China, or Cuba?

To jet pilot
I just got up from the breakfast table. There is a long article in this morning's New York Times ("What 'That Regan Woman' Knows", Frank Rich, NYT 11-17-07). "That Regan Woman" is Judith Regan, who was fired from Murdoch's publishing company because she had embarrassed it by accepting OJ Simpson's book "If I Did It". She is now suing Murdoch for $100 million, claiming she was scapegoated. Where this gets politically relevant is that she was Bernard Kerik's lover and was thus privy to many bits about Giuliani that she now threatens to make public, Regan having now taken off for Giuliani with a total meat cleaver. There's also quite a bit about FOX and its combined functions of GOP operative and gossip conduit.

Jetpilot--no way!
Jetpilot--you're not really a pilot, are you? If so, you need to be grounded. You're too impaired psychiatrically. You're a wackadoo. Go the Kos where you belong.

Democrat Ideology
It appears the Democrat party is MoveOn.org.

Imagine! 16 widely dispersed internet connected people headed by one man Eli Pariser running, gaming the system, and the whole show out of his house with the financing base of George Soros.

It does not matter who is elected from the Democrats as they are all Lemmings to MoveOn.org's 18 people.

To Minky
Any important endeavor has multiple motivations, and should. My point is that the Bush administration revealed its Iraq rationales serially in a calcuated effort to gain popular support for the war.

Walter Lippman coined a useful phrase in "manufactured opinion". In a free society, people can't be bludgeoned into cooperation with the government but must be persuaded to accept what the government usually has already decided to do. Often a shrewd political calculation is made to sell the public what it will buy---what "version" of the government's intent. Weapons of mass destruction---remember the mushroom cloud?---were first used to scare the American people into accepting the Iraq war. The rest came later. You may recall Bush making a joke of not having been able to find WMD when he pretended to look under the furniture for them, before reporters, who then criticized him for making light of what had already resulted in many deaths.

king hillary
hillary has /is so corrupt that it is impossible to cover in this type of communication ! she failed in arkansas as head of egucation dept.! she drew up the records(lawyer) that got many people arrested ! when it came time for her tobe on the hotseat..no more records! and she said under oath"i dont know, i cant remember over 50 times ..concerning those records..she is either the most incompetant person ..or the biggest liar! her driver drove thru a security post "9/11" scene....and drug an officer and injured him..never apologized! no real legislative accomplishments..how long she been there..duh! she had to go to ultra conservative
sen. hatch to help her to try to craft a bill..
about children(easy subject) everyone wants children protected! she went to africa and took 100's of gvmnt people at our expense..(first spender..not first lady)she blamed america for "9/11"..and got booed by the fireman/policeman ! my, my some idiot this woman!
she makes bill clinto almost look acceptable..i said almost! elvis

You write, "they are on a mission..."

I cannot speak to Lilly's motivations other than being an old school teacher who long ago bought into the religion of liberalism espoused by the teacher's union.

In Fraud Robert's case, you are so correct - as he lacks any other "real" mission in life.

Right on. I belatedly agree with you.

Good stuff

Check your dates. We had a Republican Congress during the years when our troops in Iraq were collecting scrap metal and trying to armor their own vehicles. That would be the same Republican Congress that voted itself record pork while Bush failed to veto a single spare-rib. You may recall Rumsfeld's responses to criticism re armoring vehicles in Iraq. And the scandalous conditions at Walter Reed went unchecked during the same era; the Washington Post broke the story one month after the Democratic Congress was sworn in, but conditions had obtained for years. Check your dates.

Lilly
Give me a break...

EX-National Enquirer reporter Judith Regan is now a reliable "victim"?

She didn't need to be "scapegoated" for "If I Did It" - she should have been promptly terminated for gross incompetence.

Yet another priceless example of the "heroes" liberals must embrace in order to advance the cause of "victimhood".

Lily
Lilly gives the following ABSURD 'instruction' to her first interminable post: "(Go to Part II because there's more.)" No thank you, Lilly.

Day late and a dollar short
Ugly Clinton rising? Where has everyone been? The ugly has risen a long time ago.
This woman is at least a socialist and more likely a communist. She and her “partner” in crime will do anything to get, stay in power. Anyone who thinks this pair is good for this country is either brain dead or another liar.

Right on, Mac!
A beautifully researched article that struck the Hildebeest right in the heart. The only thing missing was the records from the Rose Law Firm that turned up in an area of the White House that good old Hill had control over. What's more, they had her fingerprints all over them. And this after she told an adjudicating body that she'd never seen them and didn't believe they even existed.

But a much too forgiving press is so anxious to see the Clinton's back in power, they'll conveniently forget each and every episode as the election season approaches the goal line.

for Tito
"You're going to hate the next eight years merely out of stubbornness. Tito says: You will be so embroiled in resentment that you well deny yourself the joy of the improvement of your country."

"YOUR country"???

Sounds like you're not really an American citizen.

You're from one of those foreign nations that wants to see America taken down a few pegs in the world. That's what you consider to be an "improvement", right?

Robert
Robert writes: "The Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, which passed the Senate UNANIMOUSLY, listed 12 reasons for removing Saddam from power...None of it said invade."

How else to remove Saddam from power except invade? Robert, you're SUCH a typical liberal retard! You and your ilk feel the only thing you have to do to 'solve' a problem is to take a vote on it. You're just pitiful!

Maybe we should have waited for our European 'friends' in the U.N. to vote for more sanctions. Ah, but wait a minute.....Weren't those self-same European 'friends' in Saddam's pocket (literally). Surely you remember the U.N.'s oil-for-food scam, don't you Robert?

lilly
The Press Club Dinner is traditionally a place where the president pokes fun at himself. It's not a press conference and never has been. Just thought you should know so you don't embarrass yourself by posting it as a serious thought.

Surely you realize that "manufactured opinion" belongs neither to the right or the left. There's plenty to go around. Check any car bumper.

Really, it seems you're angry (about the personal thrashing of President Clinton, or about Vice president Gore's 2000 election loss, or both) as you never miss an opportunity to make a personal thrash on President Bush or VP Cheney. More like a score to settle than a comment on issues.

for Robert
Robert asks: "'If Hillary Clinton becomes president - get ready for everything we hated about our government to come springing back to life.' ....what would those things be?"

Here's a partial list:

More concern about global warming in 50 years than about terrorists killing Americans right now

Refusal to acknowledge the threat from radical Islam (NOT just "al-Qaeda" specifically

More concern for the civil liberties of terrorists than for the rights of American citizens to be free from terrorism

Subordination of American national security to that nest of international cockroaches in Turtle Bay, the U.N.

More economic protectionism as national policy

Feminism as national policy, making life in America extremely uncomfortable for that half of the American population that is not equipped with vaginas

alwyr you forgot a method
They could have had the 9th circuit invalidate it, or pass a rule against Saddam. Problem with most lawyers is they forget that someone has to enforce the law. Guess thats an international position also as the UN fails to realize that also.

Robert
We're still IN Kosovo!

ANYONE BUT HILLARY !
God help the Republican Party if we don't get off our butts and do everything we can to defeat Mrs. Clinton. We stay home and didn't vote in 2006 but if we don't get everyone to the polls in 2008 we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

Keep on telling everyone the truth!

I will be silent no longer...

Disappointing, but not surprising.

If you're going to cut n paste my rebuttal to bsseballquack's schoolyard "humor" as he calls it. (I was just meeting him at his own level, and apparently yours, everything else goes over your head) you could at least cut n paste his examples of pathos, too.

But, you're not about being fair, or nice. I'm sorry I took the time being considerate to dumb-down and not use big words to intimidate you.

HUNTER FOR AMERICA

Securing the border and enforcing the law is the only way we get to keep our rule of law, our representative Republic, and our Constitution. We must elect a President who WILL secure the border and enforce the law. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this will no longer be the United States of America.

The so-called "top tier" will not get out the voters necessary for a GOP win. Increasing turnout is the key. Give people something to vote for. Not just the lesser of two evils. Won't work this time. People are fed up with the inundation of illegal aliens. They would come out in droves for the clear choice of D=amnesty or R=enforcement. They will stay home if they both equal amnesty.

There is a huge majority of American citizens waiting for someone to pledge to uphold the laws and secure the borders, let's not ignore them any more.

http://www.gohunter08.com

Rudy's Answer to Illegal Aliens

Pretty much the same as Hillary and GWB. Lip service to border security and "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", amnesty. We tried that once in 1986 and Reagan thought it the worst mistake of his terms. We now have 10 times the number of illegal aliens. We will either elect a President who will uphold the laws or one who will change them to accomodate the illegal aliens. If we do the latter, we are voluntarily committing national suicide.

Tito
You forefathers spent too much time in the mountains. Come down and get some oxygen.

Anyone but Hillary the liar
It is very simple, boys and girls.

Hillary is a Marxist. You think you have worries about our civil liberties with GWB? Ha. He's an amateur compared to Hillary....and, oh yeah, wasn't she 'named after Sir Edmund?'

In an article about Hillary Clinton and her occasional tussles with the truth:
Take an apparently innocuous example: her [Hillary Clinton's] nutty claim that her mother named her after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest.

Meeting Sir Edmund by chance at the Katmandu airport, Hillary apparently made up the story on the spot, telling reporters she was named after the intrepid explorer. To bolster her claim, she piled on the details: While her mother was pregnant, Hillary extemporized, she had read an article about Sir Edmund and noticed that he spelled his name with two l's - “which,” the first lady said, is how her mother “thought she was supposed to spell Hillary.”

She continued: “So when I was born, she called me Hillary, and she always told me it's because of Sir Edmund Hillary.”

But Sir Edmund didn't climb Everest until May 29, 1953 - 5 1/2 years after Hillary Rodham was born. In fact, until 1951 Sir Edmund Hillary hadn't even left New Zealand for his climb in the Himalayas. Before that, he was an unknown beekeeper.

No Amnesty Candidates

No Rudy, No McCain

Romney, Huckabee and Thompson are saying the right things now, but haven't always. Hunter and Tancredo have been working on this for years on our behalf. Longer than most of you have been alarmed about it, they have been trying to sound the alarm. Choose carefully in the primaries, your future depends on it.

Robert/Neville
If you're prepared to throw away every last vestige of self-respect/self-esteem, you're well on your way to becoming a liberal.

I do appreciate your mind-set. You probably look upon yourself as a good person - who desperately seeks "peace in our time". In the interim, and in order to buy that peace, you are prepared to do ANYTHING to appease our sworn enemies - just as long as they promise not to hit us.

You're self-delusion simply serves to make you an object of pity.

Nominate Carefully

There are millions of us who usually vote GOP who WILL NOT vote for Rudy, for a variety of reasons. For me it's the amnesty issue, for others it's life, still others, homosexuality or gun rights. Whatever the issue is, it is a bright line we will not cross. No amount of Hillaryscare, intimidation, name-calling or cajoling will get us to vote for Rudy. He's in the wrong party. He is a liberal. I don't vote for liberals. When he loses, don't blame us, we tried to warn you. Flipping off half your voters is not a winning strategy.

Liberal Rudy

He is not conservative. He has said repeatedly in the past that he is a liberal, his record is liberal, he ran for mayor on the Liberal Party ticket. Know that you are voting for a liberal.

H Clinton=DISASTER
Hillery has been coddled and bottle-fed for so long by the Liberal media and her handlers that if she becoems president, when the first terrorist stirke or hurricane hits, she will have a nervious breakdown. It is well know and documented that the Clintons have used strong-arm tactics and near-blckmail to get their way as far back as the Little Rock statehouse.

LILLY, ect,
Stick to the subject, IF YOU DARE. You Liberals have accused us of stiffling debate, yet you refuse to engage in an honest debate yourself, prefering non-sequitors, demands and accusations to offering proof and a reasoned arguement.
We conservatives constantly stand up and defend/explain our beliefs, but you Liberals refuse to do the same, instead you prefer to attack the beliefs of others. SINCE YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DEFEND YOUR BELIEFS, YOU ARE ADMITTING THAT THEY ARE WORTHLESS!

Remember awhile back when Robert was being ignored- you remember - "the good old days"!! The person who "couldn't take it anymore" and answered one of Roberto's posts opened Pandora's Box - now he's off and running again (Mostly off!!) Lilly, bless her heart, needs more help than I fear is available, and Jet and Tito, well, what can be said! I think we should again TRY ignoring this quad, sit back and watch the meltdown that is sure to happen. You know how a child acts when it's being ignored during a tantrum.

Robert
We've been in Kosovo for over 8 years!! Please bear in mind, the entire country is smaller geographically than the city of Los Angeles. Despite billions having been spent (by the U.N.) the electric grid is STILL not back to 'pre-war' standards.

You're just going to HAVE to stop going to Wickipedia for your 'information'

Hillary Continued
I might even forgive a little hyperbole and a cute sound byte to make everyone remember her name ... but it is a pattern of lying that is the problem.

She has already said in plain terms what she wants to do...and admits that we can't afford her wish list...

But, I guess all the liberals will march along in their ususal lock-step to vote for her because they don't believe it when people spell out what they really want to do.

Hillary says "I'm going to take over the oil profits" and they Cheer! We have our own Chavez!

A Q says it will wipe Israel from the earth and wants to destroy the US and they put their fingers in their ears and say LA LA LA LA LA! I can't hear you!

Hillary says I'm going to put a chicken in every pot and hand out $5000 to every new born (you think we have anchor babies now!) and everyone says, how wonderful! How generous! How deserved we all are to share everyone's wealth without working for it.

What Hillary says have striking parallels to the old stand-by "Work Makes Freedom"

For those who don't recognize the quote...it was originally in German: "Arbeit Macht Frei"

Inscribed above the gate to Dachau.

BTW
Primus 54 you're my hero!!

As far as Roberto is concerned….

Just ignore everything he posts!!!

He IS a fraud… Keep in mind that…..

“A serving military officer is REQUIRED by his office to REFRAIN from making public "VALUE JUDGMENTS" on the trend of policy, as established by the CIVILIAN LEADERSHIP.”

So, we know right off the bat that he is either a fraud, and no way an officer, (and we already KNEW THAT!) or he’s in a truck load of hurt, and about to be TOAST!

The bottom line being, roberto is to be totally ignored!

Americans #1 Issue Is Border Security
The Republicans must nominate a Consistent Conservative Republican who can be trusted, and who will secure our National Borders.

Secure Borders is the foundation for honest wages for Americans, instead of low pay to exploit illegal aliens. Secure Borders mean education for Americans and not special grants for illegal aliens as supported by Mike Huckabee. Secure Borders mean no more sanctuary cities as support(ed) by liberal republicans, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and Rudy Giuliani.

In order for Republicans to win the 2008 election, the nominee must be a Conservative Republican, and not a liberal republican, who has or have had the same position on border security as Hillary Clinton and the democratic party.

America's #1 issue is Secure Borders.
The Conservative Republican Party voters #1 issue is Secure Borders.

Progressive Democratic Party issues for 2008 are (1.) Hillary Clinton is a girl, "girl card". And (2)open borders for illegal aliens to force down Americans wages as they exploit illegal aliens, and drain our resources in education, hospitals, and force Americans to learn a foreign language; spanish, in order for Americans to function in our own country.

Republicans have the winning issue for 2008, we can only pray that the voters use it and vote for the Consistent Conservative Candidate who will truly secure the borders and build our fence for all Americans.

Because if Hillary Clinton and the demon media wins, we all are doomed.

BTW 2
We're just adding to the "quads" feeding frenzy.

Tito- another intelligent liberal (not!)
Tito's comment that Jeb Bush left the governor's office in Florida before being disgraced is preposterous. Bush was term limited by state law, but people that read Daily Kos, The Huffington Report, or Move On. org cannot think for themselves or do any fact checking.

I could ignore you and find out, but where's the fun in that.

Virginia Patriot and others
THE most important issue IMO is Security. That includes GWOT & Immigration ENFORCEMENT

THE MOST important reason to vote for ANYBODY over Hillary is the matter of Supreme Court Appointments.

WE KNOW the kind of justices that Hillary will appoint! ALL of you who think taking some sort of moral stand against candidate X or Y because they aren't perfect will assure her REinstatement into the White House.

THE SCOTUS will be packed with Liberal judges for the LONG TERM.

I'd rather take a chance on a weak GOP candidate that just MIGHT actually appoint a decent couple of judges to the SCOTUS than risk it on the sort we are ASSURED of getting with Hillary.

Aside from the fact that China has her in its back pocket...do we really want another 4 or 8 years of the Hill and Bill show?

And, I LIKE RUDY. I think he is a straight shooter, and can take the heat.

I'll vote for HUNTER in the primaries...and whomever in the General election that is put up by the GOP.

If that sounds like anybody but Hillary...you are right. But my reasons are the SCOTUS and that will carry well beyond the next few elections, so think about it, folks. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater on this one.

To use an analogy: If I am given two pistols with which to play Russian Roulette...One has 2 bullets and 4 empty chambers (ANY GOP candidate), and one is fully loaded (Hillary)...I'll opt for the one that I have the best chance to survive.

Of course, using this analogy, I know some Conservataives that would rather just end it all for our nation by choosing the sure death...but I'd rather they'd give the life of our nation a small chance rather than no chance at all.

It's not that I don't care
... about the legality-challenged aspect of the Clintons.

It's more that that's not the main reason I couldn't possibly vote for Hillary. That reason is the same one I coudn't vote for any of the Democrats, and many of the Republicans: they're big-government, envy- and social division-mongering socialists.

Eyes on the prize, people. The best argument against Hillary is that her policies would further institutionalize envy socialism, increase our costs and decrease our liberty and opportunities across the board, and bog us down in a punch-pulling, attack-inviting ad-hoc-ism and incrementalism in foreign policy.

I am mad as heck - again - and I am not going to take any more of this!!! Wait a minute! What can I do about it, besides voting against it, sending nasty e-mails, asking friends and anyone who will listen to do the same, etc.? And little of this will matter! THIS is what is going so wrong with my / our country! WHO IS GOING TO STOP THIS AND TURN THINGS AROUND? Me? Ha!!!! But maybe, just maybe, a lot of ME's can!!!!! IMHO.....

The Horse Isn't Dead
A couple of posters have responded to me this morning by saying that I am flogging a dead horse by castigating Bush since many conservatives already hate his guts and in any case he isn't running in 2008. They're missing the point that conservatives may well vote for (some other Republican) for the same reasons they voted for Bush: they like a bellicose attitude toward the rest of the word and they believe that our federal government is wrong-minded and should be largely dissolved. They show a ready response to affability and good Christian intent. So beware of voting for Bush with another face. You got fooled once, didn't you. What have you learned?

And what's the extraordinary vitriol toward Hillary Clinton about? No Republican is expected to vote for her and Democrats aren't influenced by conservative posts and blogs. Speaking of flogging dead animals.

vamtns41
Perhaps if we knew what you were mad as heck about we could join forces?

Check out my blog. I have a few parodies that might cheer you up...then again...maybe not...depends on what you are mad about. :-)

Mrs. Paddy
Good morning!!

Just read your parodies, and cracked up on the Village idiot one!!

I'll be humming "YMCA" all day long, but it's a small price to pay....;-)

TO THE INTELLIGENT CONSERVATIVES...
Why waste our time with the liberals who are trying to speak to Intelligent Conservatives? They have no sense of right/wrong. They call us angry, but they write the diatribes. They are so angry with the fact that our economy is flourishing under our current administration that they have to scrape deeply at something to find to throw at George W. Bush. I bet their fingertips are raw.

While the conservatives, on the other hand, barely have to scrape the surface to find the dirt on Billary. Every time I mention the Clintons, I feel like taking a shower; they leave you with that contaminated feeling of having just dealt with the plague! As far as being overweight, it seems the libs post and have more time on their "hands" so they are the chair bound corpulent ones. I see repeated nonsensical posts, I don't have time for such drivel. Today just happens to be my day off. I'm not going to waste my time arguing; because I've realized the elevator doesn't go to the top floor, where we have access. Brain surgery is waiting...

Tito, you forgot to respond
to the fact that Jeb Bush was term-limited and was no-way dodging some sort of scandal.

Accept it or refute it with documented facts. Ignoring it damages your feeble credibility.

Living in a fog...
Any regular reader of Townhall columnists or conservative posters on these threads who could possibly ask the question:

"And what's the extraordinary vitriol toward Hillary Clinton about?..."

... is truly living in a fog of incomprehension - one of the many symptoms of terminal BDS.

UGLY CLINTON CAMPAIGN
QUESTION: WHY DOES THE MEDIA & SUPPORTERS OF HER, WANT TO PAY HIGHER TAXES & SUBMIT TO MORE GOV'T CONTROL OVER THEIR LIFE? SHE HAS ALREADY STATED, IN HER OWN WORDS, "AMERICANS HAVE TOO MANY FREEDOMS, WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THINGS AWAY FROM YOU -FOR COMMON GOOD, FREE MARKET HAS FAILED", ETC. RIGHT OUT OF KARL MARX BOOK? WHY DO THESE FOLKS SUPPORT HER?????? CAN ANYONE SHARE AN ANSWER?

Now see, I get all confused. I thought it was only the people with real "power" who could be racists - you know - whites.

Well... since he's said it, it must be true. I guess that ends the discussion!

What a jackass...

70%?
Hmmm...

Don't know if someone can back up this alleged polling statistic (unlikely), but one thing is for sure.

100% of the 70% will get their wish in January, 2009. You can take that to the bank.

It's just too bad that 99% of regular Townhall posters that wish Fraud Robert were gone can't be as lucky.

"Reading" Polls
Only a totally BDS-inflicted moron could extrapolate that "70 percent of the American people wish that Arbusto was gone!" from a polling question asking, "should the next administration change course from this administration"...

Using that logic, with a 13% congressional approval rating, I should assume 87% of the American people want Congress gone.

for Tito
Tito writes: 'It's just that all of you conservatives think everything should be about you and what you think. Even to this day, you think you have something to be proud of."

We conservatives have a great deal to be proud of:

We made the words "socialist" and "liberal" into dirty words in America--so much so that Bernie Sanders is afraid to label himself a socialist in public (even though that's what he is), and Hillary has specifically disclaimed being a "liberal" (she prefers the more vague euphemism "progressive").

Whereas every conservative is proud to call himself a "conservative"--so much so that genuine libertarians like Ron Paul are trying to get themselves labeled as "conservative."

And as you know, control of the political agenda starts with control of the English language. I learned that lesson in junior high school when I read Orwell's "1984."

~ New York Post

Whether it's screaming that "They'll follow us home," or "We're fighting for our very existence," one must always remember that republicans offer little more than fear - that, even as they defend torture and imperial war, wire tapping and walling in America, even as administration lackies receive no-bid contracts for their corporate blood machine in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Republican party will try its very best to convince America that Hillary is the one to fear. Look, we all know Kevin McCullough is to journalism what excrement is to fine dining, but that being said, even excrement stinks less than this fellow - a fact, I'm sure, The Lovely Bride - bought and paid for from one of the ex-Soviet satelites, could easily attest to. McCullough evokes the FBI files - so did Ken Starr - with NOTHING to show for it. McCullough retreads the whole Starr investigation, Monday Morning QBing a 40 million dollar investigation with the implication that the Clintons are not mere power brokers - no - they're the Mafia, the Illuminati and Satan - all rolled into one. McCullough evokes Blumenthal - a real writer, as un-indicted and never convicted liar, meanwhile, Bush apologists gather around convicted criminals as diverse as Libby and Campos and Ramos - men who made perjury about sex look like child’s play: we're talking treason and attempted murder here - but to Whorepublicans, these men are heroes worthy of adulation (if not copulation).
Sorry McCullough - the TH fratboyz may smirk at your sillyness, but America's too smart...

Will Hillary will swift boat Obama
POLITICO-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) took the rare step of issuing a statement in his own name on Saturday to call attention to a report by columnist Robert D. Novak that New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign is sitting on “scandalous” information about Obama.

The information was not described and there is no proof it exists.

Obama accused Clinton of “Swift boat’ politics” and vowed he will not be intimidated.

My Favorite Debate Moment
Yes, we all knew that the eunuchs at the Clinton News Network would grovel. We knew that the 'undecideds' that sniveled their incoherent questions would all turn out to be paid Demo activists. We understood that the mainstream media would jump up and down and declare Hillary the winner because she once again avoided giving any straight answers. All that was easily foreseen. But the best moment, to me, was when she fulsomely railed against the 'poisoned toys' that that rascally Dubya was letting her employers in Bejing ship to America. When Her Thighness starts slingin' about them children somethings up. And sure enough, it turns out that Mark Penn, her campaign manager and guru is chairman of the company that does all the public relations for the Chicom enterprise that shipped the toy covered with the date-rape drug. What Chutzpah! A new level of shamelessness and trust that the servile worms in the news media would ignore yet another blast of rotten air from the Clinton Crime Family. Bravo Left Wingers! You've finally proven that you've completely lost your sense of smell! Go take the day off and do something else nice for the children.

Robert
The answer to Hillary being a sleazy hypocrite is not, "Bush is one, too." She went on TV and denounced the poisoned toys that her campaign manager's company is making a huge profit from. It shows what a low, deceitful and shameless character she is. And yes, of course Dubya made her do it.

Libs. invented victims
How else did we get special legislation for every group in the nation except mddle-aged white males (of which I am not one)?

Libs. love to feel superior to all those poor, suffering souls the libs. can save. Sometimes they have to invent categories to provide relief for. Take the drug problem, please. It wasn't started by cons. And who runs the fabulous rehsbs. that barely work any percentage of the time?

A newer one is global warming. Now libs. can save the planet by telling everyone what lightblubs they can buy and when they can afford to put gas in their cars. They can't actully do anything abo9ut GW because the sun is warming the entire solar system, but libs. can take SUVs away from soccer moms, and maybe lose their precious vote.

More than half the campus "outrages" of racial and sexual and "gender" attacks and abuses have been faked. I guess the despicable bigots are keeping up theirassigned work. At Duke U., a black doll hanged by its neck was actually the work of 2 black students. Later, a black dancer'stripper calimed she was raped and got people fired, suspended, and dragged thrugh the justice system until the prosecutor was found guilty of legal ethics, and the whole case fell apart. U. of MI had racial taunts written on dorm room doors. It was the work of blacks. College of Wooster faced racial and religious desecrations. The work of studfents in black studies class.

The Jena 6 are thugs being defended by race-baiting sensationalists. I think the victim game was been won by liberal causes decades before conservatives ever got the berve to talk back about it.

$You needed whine about Giuliani. He's going to make Hillary look like the silly, spoiled white chic she really.

BAD MEMORIES of the Clinton Years
This article says it all!

While Prez Clinton had absolutely NO CONTROL over himself, Ms. Rodham Clinton knew exactly WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND MADE SURE THEY GOT OUT OF THAT MESS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE!

To think we have to endure that DUO again is UNACCEPTABLE. Get with Republicans, and promote the Candidate with the least moral "garbage"!

This is serious business. A loss of the White House in 2008 could really sink us!

romney/duncan
carlos .. i think..mentioned a mitt romney duncan hunter ticket..... boy i can live with that..!! a very bright mind for the business and financing matters.and duncan has shown real indepth intelligence on international matters(especially terrorists)! all this stuff about mitt on immigration is false ..3 mayores in a very liberal state (mass.) go sanctuary city.mitt couldnt go down and shoot them! check his statements about illegals..he is talking very forceful..no amnesty, no benefits, etc he authorized the cops to arrest them.!check his record at http://www.evangelicals formitt.org. they are the most thourough on his record as Gov. he was in very hostle area--mass! mitt/duncan..YEAH!ELVIS

The Liberal Legacy
Here's what liberals have given this country:

1. Social Security. What does your grandma live on?
2. Medicare. Who pays your grandma's hospital bill?
3. Medicare. Do you see diseased and crippled poor people in American streets?
4. Labor laws: the 40-hour week, collective bargaining, overtime pay, Unemployment Insurance for workers whose company goes belly-up, Workman's Compensation, end of child labor.
5. The Marshall Plan. Kiddies, look it up.
6. Environmental laws.
7. Food safety laws.
8. Workplace safety laws (google Triangle Waist Company Fire to see why we needed them).
9. The Peace Corps 1960-present.
10. The space program. (Remember Jack Kennedy?)
11. Civil Rights legislation.
12. Public use of the Internet: originally it was for government and military use only.
13. TVA (brought electricity to Appalachia)
14. Female suffrage.
15. Product labeling, nutritional labeling
16. Americans with Disability legislation (curb cuts, buses equipped to carry wheelchairs)
17. Public broadcasting (Sesame Street to you)
18. Federal insurance on our bank accounts
19. Family & Medical Leave Act
20. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Basic difference: Conservatives want power to rest with business, which does nothing unless it brings profit. Liberals look out for the people. And "liberal" is not a dirty word: conservatives just like to think it is.

Touj
Re Judith Regan and Giuliani, can we persuade our conservative friends in townhall to look up a long article on that very subject in today's New York Times? (Explanation to those who wouldn't touch the NYT---Ms Regan got fired from Rupert Murdoch's publishing company because she embarrassed it by accepting OJ Simpson's book "If I Did It". She also took Bernard Kerik as a lover. Now she's mad, at everybody apparently, and she's come flying back on a broomstick, which she is aiming at Giuliani, armed with Kerikian pillow talk. The article also makes a few choice points about FOX.

lilly: what a simplistic view...

"Liberals look out for the people."

Well, if that's what you want to think...! But, in fact the liberals don't really want to just "look out" for the people, they want to CONTROL THE PEOPLE!

If you want to be "looked out for" lilly, then I suggest that you move to a socialized country and move there. The government will pay your bills and TELL YOU WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT.

Your health care WON'T be between you and your doctor, the government will be practicing medicine and will decide what procedures you will and won't have.

And when you too old, the government will decide what kind of care you will and won't get, and when.

Want me to help you pack your bags?????

Robert
Damn. I went to the movies ('No Country For Old Men'-excellent) expecting to come back and find your analysis of Mrs. Clinton's moral fiber. Funny how you seem unable to address her actions in any positive light, or address HER actions at all. We've now had two decades of this type of evasion so I'll make it easy for you; W and all Republicans have horns and bifurcated tails. Anything said about them is too kind for the deranged monsters that they are, OK? Now, please explain to me how Mrs. Clinton denouncing poison toys from her Chinese paymasters that are her campaign manager's company's largest client is anything but sleaze, hypocrisy and fraud. You never will answer because you libs know the answer.

Robert, Excuse me!
You did mention that HRC's behavior might be hypocritical but only in the context that all the other Dems (your fellow libs) do it too. Which other Democratic candidate's campaign manager is profiting from the sale of poison toys? Answer NONE. Which other Democrat got up on that stage and railed against some problem when they had a financial stake in that very problem? NONE. As deluded and misguided as I think they all are none of them threatened the moderator of this debate or trashed the moderator of the last one. No one, Republican or Democrat can hold a candle to the Clinton Crime Family for pure sliminess and thuggery. Their most sincere thoughts are empty covers for their slimy personal agenda of power. That will always be their legacy.

However
Cheney didnt make a speech decrying selling those machines to the Chicoms while receiving money from them and secretly letting his associates profit from the sale. If he had the New York Times would be running a forty-day front page marathon on the subject. Henry Waxman would be investigating it and sobs would be emerging from National Public Radio. All these liberal entities dream and pray to get something on Dick Cheney. You are using the same method that HRC uses to not address the subject-- everybody else is just as bad and Republicans are worse. But no one else, Republican or Democrat, is anywhere near as bad as the Clintons as the above column points out nicely.

“A serving military officer
is REQUIRED by his office to REFRAIN from making public "VALUE JUDGMENTS" on the trend of policy, as established by the CIVILIAN LEADERSHIP.”

Correction, Lilly
"Here's what liberals have given this country:"

Nothing.
Liberals (Capital "L" to indicate the political movement) have done NOTHING for anyone. Liberalism began in the NINETEEN FIFTIES because some white guys felt GUILTY abouit the civil rights movement and wanted to do something to ease that guilt. MOstly what they did was shout "I support you!" or something equaly useless. The communists saw them as a "usefull idiot" group and infiltrated, taking over. You don't have to take my word for it, check out the American communist party's goals and compare them to the Liberals' goals, you'll see that they are the same.

Now as to the things you listed, they happened BEFORE Liberalism was invented, so Liberals could not have had anything to do with them. Those acts were the work of men and women who "acted liberaly" (Small "L") or in "a liberal manner". Look the word up in the dictionary, it has NOTHING to do with your political movement.

Liberals have done nothing but bring misery to the world, simply because RESULTS are not your goal, FEELING GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF is. All you care about is "being socialy aware" because it m,akes you FEEL GOOD.

Green Hornet
No, liberalism began long before the 1950's. For one thing, liberals believe in a strong federal government as opposed to states' rights, and that issue has been argued since this nation was founded. For another, every social issue has had two sides, with conservatives (those who wish to CONSERVE the status quo) and liberals (those who wish to change it) representing opposite ideas. At the time of the American Revolution, conservatives (Tories) remained loyal to the King of England. Some who didn't support going against the King actually moved to Canada or even returned to England. Separating from the King was considered a wild and crazy thing to do by social conservatives of the time. In the 1850's, conservatives wanted to retain slavery---emancipation was a wildly liberal idea. Later still, conservatives fought giving women the vote. If you think that liberal thought in America began in the 1950's you are woefully ignorant of American history. How do you account for FDR and the New Deal?

And conservative thought wasn't limited to politics; in the 1840's and 1850's conservatives spoke against letting women have anesthesia during childbirth; they argued that the Bible said women in labor should suffer.

I have just one question...
Why are you people feeding the trolls?

Roberto, et. al. are baiting you; making you waste time swimming in circles trying to debate flotsam. If you think you are making headway by using facts and logic, you are sorely mistaken as this will have no effect on them.

Dogg, Lilly, Tito, Jetpilot, and the rest of the chattering Clinton kool-aid drinkers who post here, do so for dishonest reasons. By engaging them, you abet their dishonesty.

If you feel you must respond, do it indirectly. As for me, the only reason I know that these people are posting here at all is from scanning the thread and seeing their monikers and of course, your responses.

Personally, I find it a waste of time to actually read what these ignorami are writing. I gave up such pursuits after my wife stopped teaching junior high school a number of years ago, reliving me of having to assist her in red-pencilling 7th grade english essays.

Here are some items on her list which she has completely wrong, even backwards.

1. Social Security.

One of the few things liberals and conservatives agree on is that SS is going broke and is a huge unfunded liability. If grandpa had been allowed to invest the money the gov't took for SS taxes at a reasonable rate he and grandma would have roughly 3 times more to live on than what SS provides them.

2. Medicare. Who pays your grandma's hospital bill?

Medicare is corrupt and overpriced. It has also corrupted and inflated health care for people who aren't even using it. Typical liberal program.

3. Medicare. Do you see diseased and crippled poor people in American streets?

In a word, yes. Thanks to liberals making it socially acceptable to be chemically dependent.

BTW lilly, are you that hard up for liberal contributions that you have to go back more than 150 years and still have to mention some things twice?

4. Labor laws: the 40-hour week, collective bargaining, overtime pay,

These items were originated by unions, not "liberals". Samuel Gompers, founder of the American Federation of Labor, opposed socialism and the American Socialist Party. He also opposed leftist politicians who opposed our involvement in WWI.

lilly's list (Part 2)
Unemployment Insurance for workers whose company goes belly-up, Workman's Compensation, end of child labor.

Here's where it gets interesting. The same labor unions that deserve the credit for the above items lilly credits to "liberals OPPOSED workman's comp laws. There is no historical evidence that workman's comp was a liberal idea. There is a general understanding by historians that it was (and is) a compromise between protecting workers and limiting employer liability. Today the concept of limiting liability is called "tort reform" and today's liberals oppose it.

5. The Marshall Plan. Kiddies, look it up.

The Marshall Plan did nothing for America. It re-built Europe after WWII. Today's "liberals" have opposed the equivalent of the Marshall Plan for Iraq with every fiber of their being. So which is it lilly? Were Truman, Marshall, et al not really liberals or are today's liberals so far to the left of Truman and Marshall that they must surely be communists or worse?

6. Environmental laws.

The EPA was created by Richard Nixon

7. Food safety laws.

The FDA originated in 1862 as a special arm of the Dept. of Agriculture under President Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln, you may recall, was a REPUBLICAN.

lilly's list (Part 3)
8. Workplace safety laws (google Triangle Waist Company Fire to see why we needed them).

OSHA was created by Richard Nixon

9. The Peace Corps 1960-present.

The Peace Corps was the idea of a group of students at the University of Michigan who suggested it to President John F. Kennedy in 1961 (not 1960, unless you want to say Ike was a lib) when he visited the campus to make a speech. The students at U-M in 1961 were ultra-conservative by today's standards. For that matter so was JFK. The Peace Corps is also PRIVATELY FUNDED.

10. The space program. (Remember Jack Kennedy?)

NASA was created in 1958 under Eisenhower, a REPUBLICAN.

11. Civil Rights legislation.

Do we have to say this again? Lincoln, a REPUBLICAN, freed the slaves. REPUBLICANS voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in far greater percentages than Democrats. Democrats opposed this, including 19 or so Senators who, more than a decade earlier, had formed the Dixiecrats and ran Strom Thurmond for Prez. Fritz Hollings, then Governor of South Carolina, raised the Confederate Battle Flag over the State House as a symbol of his opposition to integration. George Wallace, Lester Maddox, and Bull Connor were DEMOCRATS. So was Richard J. Daley, Mayor of Chicago, who arrested the protestors at the 1968 DEMOCRATIC Convention in 1968.

Liberals brought us civil rights my @ss.

lilly's list (Part 4)
12. Public use of the Internet: originally it was for government and military use only.

Bull Squat. It was Mrs. Clinton and Al Gore who complained that there was no "gatekeeper" to the internet. Where do you get this crap?

13. TVA (brought electricity to Appalachia)

TVA was created for FLOOD & NAVIGATION CONTROL. There is NOTHING in its charter about providing electricity, yet TVA has outlawed any and all electrical power competition in the Tennessee River Valley. It has even built nuclear power plants (tell me what that has to do flood control) It also is autonomous from the US gov't and thus is both a sole source supplier and regulator; an unmitigated monopoly. If a private business did this "liberals" would cry foul to high heaven.

The TVA has become synonomous for the kind of uncontrolled, inefficient bureaucratic monster that overstretches its authority and its mission and exists to serve itself instead of the people that sponsor it. Yes lilly, the TVA is the epitome of a liberal creation. It is yours. All yours. It is something only a liberal could be proud of.

BTW, the Tennessee River Valley is a geographic region that includes most of Tennessee, portions of Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi, and some small areas of Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. Hardly a comprehensive or accurate description of "Appalachia"

lilly's list (Part 5)
14. Female suffrage.

This is a lie that goes beyond the pale.

Suffragates protested outside the White House of DEMOCRAT President Woodrow Wilsom for a full year before he agreed to support the vote for women. During that time they were harassed and insulted repeatedly. Occasionally they were arrested and held without communication for days. They were treated in a manner that would make today's liberals scream if we did it to the terrorists at Gitmo.

In October of 1918 several suffragates were arrested and beaten ruthlessly. One suffragate had her skull fractured. Her cellmate thought she was dead. Another had both her arms broken. When they finally got to see a judge he ruled the arrests were illegal.

Shortly after this embarassing episode, Wilson agreed to support voting rights for women. The deal didn't get done until June 0f 1919. In the final vote in the Senate there were 36 REPUBLICANS voting "yea" and only 9 "nay". The Democrats were 20 "yea" and 16 "nay".

So tell me how "liberals" made this happen. Do you ever "look it up" yourself lilly or do you just spew whatever garbage you think will sound good?

15. Product labeling, nutritional labeling

See my comment under Item 7. Again, so desperate you have to mention things twice. And you can still only get to 20, including taking credit for things that weren't done by "liberals" at all.

lilly's list (Part 6)
16. Americans with Disability legislation (curb cuts, buses equipped to carry wheelchairs)

ADA was signed into law by President George H.W. Bush, a REPUBLICAN. Handicap codes were already in effect since the 1970's (Richard Nixon again)

17. Public broadcasting (Sesame Street to you)

A waste of tax money that is NOT mandated by the Constitution. It is also a biased liberal source of news and misinformation. Again, something only a liberal can be proud of.

18. Federal insurance on our bank accounts

FDIC was the brainchild of REPUBLICAN Senator Arthur Vandenburg and DEMOCRAT Senator Henry Steagall in 1933. FDR OPPOSED it but ceded to the overwhelming support it was getting in Congress.

19. Family & Medical Leave Act

Yes lilly, liberals jammed this farce down our throats. You don't seriously expect to convert conservatives with this, do you?

20. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

You mean the people who have made so many of the things I used to buy so safe that they don't perform their intended function well enough anymore so I no longer buy them?

Again, only a liberal could be proud.

Out of 20 items I count two you mentioned twice and 12 for which the credit belongs partly or entirely to others, not liberals.

You can have SS, Medicare, TVA, PBS, Family Medical Leave, and Product Safety. These are nuisances at best and debacles at worst.

Now stop lying (or daydreaming) about what liberals have contributed and give credit (and blame) where it's due.

For Beeblebrox
I realize lilly is a troll.

But I wonder if serious posters understand just how much liberals assume that is just plain false. It's obvious from my deconstruction of lilly's list that she just assumed that every "good" cause that helps people must have been the work of liberals. Her claim that liberals were responsible for Women's Suffrage is particularly obnoxious given the factual history of it.

Twenty years from now liberal trolls like lilly will be giving Bill Clinton credit for balancing the budget and reforming welfare while blaming GWB for terror. They're already trying to rewrite recent history by claiming Islamic terror is only a result GWB's policies, ignoring all of the anti-US violence during the Clinton years and before, and describing the boom economy under Bush as a recession.

Some lies just cannot be allowed to stand un-debunked. And some liars need to shown for the incompetent and unreliable sources that they are.

Successful Day!
SunThe1 Thank you, busy day.

Now if I could just fix Robert, Jet, Tito, BS Defector and Lily; however, I don't believe that's my job, only God can do that. When I see their names, I don't bother to read, because I know it will be incomprehensible. Unless, I'm in a mood to laugh at a sick joke, but then where's the pleasure in others' weaknesses? The frailty of mankind is too vulnerable, and I'm on this earth to help not hurt. Just ignore them, they just get on this site for kicks.

Hillary
Re: Hillary

I am convinced that the blind hatred of George Bush is keeping many from opening their eyes and minds up to what her "coronation" would actually mean for this country - a summary from the book "The Extreme Makeover of Hillary Rodham Clinton" (read at http://tinyurl.com/2m55r8) should serve to send a chill down your spine:

"Apart from style, The Extreme Makeover succeeds in warning readers of what a Hillary Clinton presidency will look like, and, more precisely, who it will target. A made over person is exactly the Hillary we see lecturing us on CNN and CBS. The real would-be queen is simply not fit for widespread consumption. The junior senator's personality revolves around a lust for power, a need to control others, and rampant insecurity. Anger and irritability are natural attributes, and but only her family, advisors, and the secret service are allowed to observe them. Mrs. Clinton's inner core is so volatile and brittle that not even a massive team of handlers and PR specialists have managed to infuse her with charisma or charm. The outcome of this bizarre makeover is a bionic mask of Lancôme and ritzy apparel cloaking the radical within, but one that ultimately renders her artificial, robotic, heartless, calculating, and inhuman."

This is the future of your country folkes - vote for Hillary at your own peril!

Bang. Bang. Boom. Boom. Boom. Bang. Bang Bang. Bang. Boom.

Magnificent reading. Thanks for taking the time to blow the "feel good" liberal out of the water.

str8t talk

"When I see their names,(Lilly, Robert, Jet, Tito, BS Defector)I don't bother to read, because I know it will be incomprehensible."

I'm sorry they are incomprehensible to you, str8t, but then, that doesn't mean they're wrong, it just means you are very, very limited. Maybe a few more years in high school will help.

wiseone's response to Lilly

"Do we have to say this again? Lincoln, a REPUBLICAN, freed the slaves. REPUBLICANS voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in far greater percentages than Democrats. "
------------------------------------
LOL. everybody and their ten year old grandchild knows that the Republican party under Lincoln was opposite in ideology, goals, and self-definition to the Republicans we know and love in 2007; read a history book, any history book will do, and you will learn that the terms "republican" and "democrat" have totally changed meanings since 1850 and that southern democrats were the last to change. The Southern faction that still called themselves democrats by 1970 finally changed their party names and became openly republican, which, by today's standards they always were.

str8
Good sage advice, spoken with wisdom. I'm going to try my best to heed it.

@Wiseone
I understand what you are saying WRT Lilly. One has to assume she is just ill-informed and that a reasoned and logical response to set her straight will be of some merit.

So I'll take her off the troll list. That still leaves a long list of willfully ignorant trolls such as Dogg, Touj, jetpilot, Roberto, et. al.

These I ignore since I have yet to see a single shred of integrity to their posts. This is not to say they might have some actual facts buried in their posts once in a while but since 99.99% of their posts generally are disingenuous, it is useless to wade through them to find the .01% that is of some redeeming quality.

Ugly?
Kevin McCoullough, who looks as though someone bashed him in the face repeatedly with a crowbar, should really stray from the use of the word "ugly" when describing other people.

My fervent prayer (am I allowed
to say that?) is that not only will HRC lose the election, but also that the voters of New York will realize what fools they have been taken for and cast her out of the Senate also!

What investigations were ever made as to why the various communities who had always voted Republican suddenly turned out for her after her husband offered undeserving pardons here, there and yonder?

I still maintain that the entire downtown office hoopla for Bill that ended up with him in Harlem was simply a smokescreen for her to set up the 2nd largest Senate office in the country...with a staff fit for presidential run from the get-go.

This woman is not presidential material and I truly hope she gets the message real soon...and I also hope the New York voters have had their collective eyes opened as to her true nature.

Very Ugly Clinton Rising
I must disagree on one point. There is no need for hillary to bully or intimidate the press. The majority of the MSM would do almost any thing to get hillary elected. As horrific as the press was against GW during the '04 election, if hillary is the candidate for the party of the JACKASS, the press will be far worse on any GOP candidate, if for no other reason than their unabashed desire to see hillary occupying the Presidency.

If that despicable creature wins this upcoming election, look for Wall Street to take one of the biggest hits of all times. Investors will be so concerned with the vileness of her character, fear of her "economic plans" and concern for government intrusion into every day business affairs, they will withdraw monies at such a rapid rate, it will be like the failure of the dikes in New Orleans.

It's interesting to me
that Lilly pushes so many buttons here. She never inslts anyone or calls anyone a name, just reports facts and opinions, which is obviously the reason that she dives so many cons wild - they have no rational arguments to reply with, so they just call her names.

Example:

Lilly: 50% of Americans support Roe vs, Wade

Con reponse: So your ol' lady, you commie troll traitor!

His "TRANSLATIONs" of facts in SteveL's post look very familiar--Me thinks they are right out of the Democratic playbook!! The usual misrepresentations and lies.

How can almost 1/2 the US population be so deceived?

She and Giuliani are a perfect couple!
