Why Liberals Lie About Sex

Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Liberals want your child to have sex. They want this to occur in spite of your religious, health, or parental objections. They are willing to substitute false thinking for solid fact on the consequences of what will happen. And they do so while simultaneously insulting you and your child's ability to comprehend, discern, and choose behaviors that make the most sense.

This week the teens of America sent a pretty solid message in response however - they don't want to.

For the first time since before President Clinton said what "is, is" a majority of American teens - 53% - have not had sex and are choosing to not do so. In Clinton's "hey days" the number was around 47%. But it would be hard to know this from just reading the headlines of the liberals' most important of allies, the mainstream media. Here's a sampling of some the outlets that commented on the survey that confirmed these amazing numbers:

CONDOM USE INCREASES AMONG TEENS - Chicago Tribune

SAFE SEX TEENS - New York Post

U.S. TEENS PRACTICING SAFER SEX - Ft. Worth Star Telegram.

BIRTHS TO UNWED MOTHERS INCREASE TO RECORD PROPORTION - Bloomberg

TEEN BIRTHRATE AT RECORD LOW, CONDOM USE INCREASES - Kaiser Network

Even outlets that did mention the reduced numbers of teens engaging in sexual activity nearly always also mentioned the increase in condom use.

Of course liberals need the story to be told this way. In April of this year liberals were out in full force making a complete mockery of our nation's youth population and their ability to say "no" when it comes to pre-marital sexual engagement. In that same month as study was released that had taken a small sample of 2000 kids from 1997 and followed them through high school. The kids selected were from four communities two rural, and two urban. The results of the study determined that abstinence education had almost no effect on the teens in the study.

As a result congressional liberals paraded up and down the halls of Capitol Hill giving press conferences stating the death of the abstinence education funding for the future. That simply because this study proved how "ineffective" these programs were proved the point that schools would need to revert back to the early 1990 style of sex ed. Of course it is easy to ascertain that the 1997 study focused on teens who were already teens in 1997 and who in large measure had no exposure to institutionalized abstinence education. These children of the "I did not have sex with that woman" era, were products of one of the most progressive and permissive sexual society's since the late 1960's.

The Bush Abstinence programs weren't implemented until the fall of 2001.

It is also important to point out that the study released this week examined far more than merely 2000 kids in 4 communities. The newest, far more expansive report surveyed 22 different federal agencies that tracked over 38 leading indicators. And it is very much worth pointing out that under the Bush Administration this is the sixth year in a row in terms of the drop of teen birth rates. Another stark contrast in recent history given that under the permissive Clinton regime the United States reached its all-time high in that regard.

1 Last From MrsV Re.Salem, KMC Blahblah.
I just wanted to add, before I left and caused a mis impression about this author, his column, or the affiliated Christian radio stations and media entities connected to the causes they advocate here, a few last things.

In my 19 years of listening to the shows and hosts airing on Salem communication’s media and radio stations, virtually, every single day, I have never heard any speaker talk, or seen any of their columnists write, in any way which did not advocate, honestly, for the cause of God, family, Life and Truth, completely and authentically..

I realize my posts here recently did go on. And at the risk of saying too much and going overboard, and writing a book, which I probably already did, I felt the need to come back and say this. Because it is the truth, and needed to be said. I don’t just like to be clear, I like to be fair.

Despite my personal disappointment with a few of their employees, and workers, I feel Salem communications has been, by and large, nothing but an asset to this country, and local communities.

By their speaking out to readers, listeners, and audience viewers, as a voice for a life in Christ, right verses wrong, and as advocates for decency and right living, there is very little wrong I see in them or what they’ve tried to do.

As for my personal disenchantment with some of their folks. I won’t deny you’ve all seen my disappointment here. I don’t think there’s any graceful way of getting out of things we’ve said, with no edit button, it all so public here online.

I just want to send my apology, once more; to anyone my words offended, or actually did hurt.
Ironically, it was never my intention to go on some bit of a jag about a personal offense from others, or any author here. This was just bad timing altogether, and, I guess the sharing here kind of spun out of control.

Yes, that’s a bit embarrassing. But, despite what some inferred, it does not make me doing that to be unkind, rude or spiteful, or because of some personal problem, or perceived envy, or something.

I suppose I could have aired those grievances personally by emailing the author, rather than here, and taking to task in such a public way. But I really had no interest in doing it... On the other hand, this wasn’t exactly what I was going for either. This making me sound like some fan run a muck (no and no), or more cheese with that whine, or a ‘victim’. No, no and no, thank you.

As for being a ‘stalker’, that’s quite a laugh. And I’ve got to say, if I ever was that, then you have one of the most standoffish ‘stalkers’ for celebs to date. As my Husband and I have only met and spoken to Mr. McCullough in person once. And that was for 5 minutes in a book store vestibule in 2004, and we have not seen him since-And could have too!

The last thing I want to say is, my apologies to my Christian brethren, Kevin, readers and this forum, if I have in any way made an unclear presentation of who we are, as Christians, or of any of your reputations, intentions, those kinds of things...

More important than any of our personal hurt, or annoyance with each other, is our unity in Jesus Christ, our ability to bless one another, think the best of each other-without records of wrongs-, and forgive. And our opportunity to share that loving unity, and Christ’s message with others, and one another. More than anything else, hurting even in a small way, those causes is disappointing to me.

We will always have silly misunderstandings, and fleshly flails, and pride and occasional stress, as long as we’re in these bodies. Anyone can see...I don’t know quite how that all came out on here as some sort of personal diatribe.

I never intended for it to be so. It was purely spontaneous, and effected by other things related to the incident that readers here did not see, behind the scenes. I am even sorry to be a form of entertainment in my apology here. But, o well...

This is the best I can say, without revealing anymore, and opening up fresh wounds. I really am impressed by God to forgive all those I’ve mentioned for any offense they’ve caused us. And I can only hope, that in light of these words, though they do not know my heart, that, for the cause of Christ, they will forgive me too.

This issue, for its public discussion and disclosure, is now officially closed here. It has surely been unpleasant for me as well, and, honestly, a bit out of character.

In any case, if anyone wishes to bring it up again, you can be sure; it will be without my wish, or participation.

Thank you for your kind indulgence-to anyone who's still reading this :^).

Peace.

Hilarious
Yep, it's true. The study indicates that the percentage of teens who say they have ever had sex declined from 54% to 47% from 1991 to 2005.

What the study also says -- and what McCullough predictably fails to mention -- is that the decline occurred almost entirely between 1991 and 2001.

What?

Yeah.

Let me put that another way. The percentage of teens having sex stopped declining in 2001.

STOPPED declining in 2001.

Stopped DECLINING in 2001.

STOPPED DECLINING IN ***2001***!

That's a fairly interesting bit of information -- don't you think? -- since, as Mr. McCollough points out, "The Bush Abstinence programs weren't implemented until the fall of 2001."

Nice work, Kevin. Of course, with an article that begins with the line "Liberals want your child to have sex," I suppose I couldn't have expected any better.
