Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

If Wallis, Warren, and/or Campolo are reading this now, please hear this. There is a divide between liberals and conservatives over the relief of poverty, the easing of suffering, and setting the enslaved free. The divide is not the substance however, but rather the methods.

The American political left believe that only Americans should have the right to live in freedom, thus their hesitation and belligerence in advancing freedom in other corners of the globe. But is not freedom a gift from God, for his creation? The American political left is not concerned with the freedom and liberation of the unborn child - but they will speak at length about the evil of slavery that ended in the 1800's. It was not leftists that marched for full civil rights in the 1960's and it was not democrats who granted full civil rights in the 1870's.

Wallis and company will argue for the relief of poverty but give political support to liberals in America who seek to keep the poor impoverished, and dependent upon government for the well being of their family, and future. Conservatives are the ones who wish to see taxes reduced, so that government revenues increase, safety net programs insured - and fewer people needing them in the first place.

And who was it that brought relief in record supply to Tsunami and Katrina victims - not the leftist Academics, spoiled Hollywood starlets, or the National Organization for Women.

It was the bible-believing, faith practicing, church going religious right.

For biblical Christians to associate themselves in any way with the progressive leftists in America today is to associate oil with water.

So take your pick, choose to be a faithful, biblically centered Christian, or a godless, amoral leftist - but the two do not go together.

Not if you're sincere...

Flaming Liberal Multiculturalist
TAKES TOP SPOT!! :

"I'm a Liberal, and I'm a Christian, and I don't have to discuss who sticks what into which places of who else in order to prove it!!"

FOR:

1) STUPIDITY (even compared to the most perverted leftist atheist)

2) DELUSION (thinking that he/it is Christian)

3) ARROGANCE (that will keep him/it stupid and destined to indeed, be flaming)

4) HAVING NOT THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF WHAT A CHRISTIAN IS. (Read the Bible, Stupid. That's where a Christian is defined. You dont come close!)

Ben- goodbye to you..
Ben writes:

"Ms. V What ever. You defined me, persecuted me, told me I cannot be a Christian- and now you show nothing but piety- Oh poor me-- Ben called me on my inconsistencies."

I have "defined" nothing about *you*, except that your ideas about Liberals as Christians are wrong, Ben. I have "persecuted" no one. I have said nothing about "poor me", and, to be honest, I have had NO "inconsistencies", but apologized in the possible rare instance that I did. As that ocassion can happen to anyone..Not that it did..I apologized not for what I said, I never did, but if I was in error or my tone offended you. I never retracted my statements.

"And, by the way, when did asking questions become insulting?
You declared I cannot be a Christian- is that not playing the role of God?"

No. And I am not looking to argue with you here. I see the manner in which you speak, and you seem to get more rude, and willing to argue, with every point you think you've scored. I won't give you any points here. I took into account I was not feeling well, in the slight possible event I was wrong. Looking back, except for a moment of frustration with you, but not my messages, I do not feel they were wrong at all..

And be quiet addressing me this way anymore, Ben. I no longer will reply to you or friends, the likes of you, who have nothing better to do but spar and accuse and make grand nasty generalizations about others..Trouble another, elsewhere..

"One more- thanks for waiting three days to answer- I guess you figured I wouldn't eventually check back?"

Oh good grief man, who died and made you Lord of Townhall?

Is the person here?
I don't see them..

Anyone??

Am I supposed to drop the priority of *MY* life and loved ones, and health, and duties to make sure "all is well with Ben"?

I said, I had taken ill, on the board earlier this week, Ben..not that I need to explain that to anyone, or you..

When/if you begin to take a sincere interest in Christianity, you might want to consider dumping the petulant, arguey and whiney fights for the sake of stife, at the door..
and give up your prideful love of arguing, and looking for the worst in sincere Christians..

So you can live a loving life of Christ's grace, as kindness, and as an example of His work and maturity, for many...

But I see none of that in any of your expressions towards me and little towards other so..

Til then, goodbye to you..
