Poll
Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Margaret Thatcher was an unflinching and principled world leader. During an uncertain and dangerous time in history, she stood strong with Ronald Reagan and together they defeated Communism. Hillary Clinton is a two-term New York senator and a former first lady who survived the scandals of her husband’s tumultuous presidency. Whenever challenged or out maneuvered, she typically plays the victim. They are two very different women, indeed.

In terms of Democratic presidential primary candidates, Senator Clinton has been without equal. In national polls, she has held a nearly 20-point lead over her closest rival for months. In the critically important early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida, the latest polls have her up 10, 18, 22, and 25 points respectively.

Mrs. Clinton’s fundraising has been record shattering — her campaign reported raising nearly $91 million to date. For perspective’s sake, the leading Republican candidate, Rudy Giuliani, has a total of $47 million.

Mrs. Clinton’s early success and the seeming inevitability of her nomination must have bred an incredible confidence and a dangerous arrogance within team Clinton. It also helped to reveal her true character. This seems to be the only explanation for why a flubbed answer to a simple debate question is generating so much controversy.

Last week’s infamous non-response to whether Mrs. Clinton supports Governor Eliot Spitzer’s ill-conceived plan to issue drivers licenses to illegal aliens raised eyebrows and provided an avenue of attack to her hapless opponents. Her grousing that those opponents engaged in the politics of “piling on” because she is a woman competing in the “boy’s club” of politics is still dominating the political discussion.

Feminists are split on Mrs. Clinton playing the gender card. Their point of view, however, seems to be shaped by their candidate preferences. Those on team Clinton are shocked by the attacks. Those supporting her opponents are offended by Mrs. Clinton’s reaction.

The former Democratic vice presidential candidate, Geraldine Ferraro, a Clinton supporter, told the New York Times the debate demonstrated that it’s “OK in this country to be sexist.”

Another Clinton supporter, the president of the Feminist Majority Foundation, Eleanor Smeal, told the Politico that the debate reminded her of Anita Hill’s congressional testimony. “Every woman — it was just so visceral — that panel was all male,” she told the publication. “It didn’t matter almost what was being said. It [was] a visceral gut reaction, and I think that’s what you’re seeing here again.”

Even Bill Clinton got into the act and said the criticism of his wife is similar to the Swift Boat ads run against former Democratic nominee John Kerry. For Democrats, Swift Boat has come to mean using exploitive and deceptive tactics. Thus, the former president made the argument that challenging his wife’s public policy positions and questioning her flip-flops is deceptive and exploitive.

Senator John Edwards’ resident feminist, the former NARAL Pro-Choice America president, Kate Michelman, was unimpressed and questioned Mrs. Clinton’s character. “When unchallenged, in a comfortable, controlled situation, Senator Clinton embraces her political elevation into the ‘boy’s club,’” Ms. Michelman said in a statement released by Mr. Edwards’ campaign. “She is quick to assure listeners she is plenty tough enough, that she’s battled tested, ready to play be the same rules as the boys.”

“But when she’s challenged, when legitimate questions are asked, questions she should be prepared to answer and discuss, she is just as quick to raise the white flag and look for a change in the rules.”

Senator Chris Dodd, the Democratic presidential candidate who started this debate by daring to question his opponent’s tangled non-response, put the discussion back into perspective.

“If elected to the presidency, there will be a lot of tough questions and if you can’t handle it in a debate without accusing everybody who has an issue with you of piling on or a sexist attack, somehow, first of all that’s unwise and, secondly, it’s false,” Mr. Dodd told the Associated Press.

This brings us back to Mrs. Thatcher. The world today, like the world then, is a dangerous place requiring strong leaders. Mrs. Thatcher demonstrated that a strong woman could successfully lead a powerful nation in times of trouble and risk.

In the 1990s, I had the honor to make her acquaintance through a mutual friend. My previous admiration for her strength and sense of purpose was validated during a week we spent vacationing with our spouses and a few friends. She commanded respect and trust. She did not ask for sympathy or special treatment because of her gender. The very thought would have been ridiculous to her. Not so for Mrs. Clinton.

Democrat primary voters will most likely overlook Mrs. Clinton’s critical flaw. Her lead in the polls is too great, her funding is substantial, and her campaign team is top-notch. This issue, however, will not go away. The nation seeks a strong leader, and Mrs. Clinton is not Mrs. Thatcher.

I had never heard of either or them being animals lovers but after one of Slick Willy's escapades they got a dog to improve his image I guess. I think they tied a porkchop bone around Willys neck so the dog would run to him. When they left the White House carrying their haul of china and sliver they gave Chelsea's cat away. What happened to their dog?

The comment about Hillary wanting to look down on us as serfs is correct. You can see the disdain and arrogance in every move. She doesn't think she should have to debate. She thinks noone should run against her.She thinks she should just be able to walk in and sit down in the oval office and start raising taxes.
Mexico and India are wealthy countries that could well afford to create decent paying jobs to support their countries. But they let their people live in poverty. That is what Hillary wants to do to us. She would rather be the Godfather but that probably requires more honesty and loyalty than she has.

Swillary
When you get a drives license they ask you if you want to register to vote. That is the only reason they want to give illegals licenses. Now some states are bypassing that and simply saying illegals have a right to vote.
I told Social Security that I wanted to check my SS # to see if anyone else was using it. They said no because of privacy reasons. Who's privacy. It is my #.
They are not going to build the fence. They are stalling and pretending to be building it until after the election. They don't want to have to tear it down afterwards. Is the "fix" in for Hillary?

Hillary
Ferraro said "her husband would be glad to reveal his tax records. Later, she said he refused. She said "You know how Italian men are."
What did that mean? I have yet to figure out what we were supposed to think of that. And she now talks about being sexists are against Hillary.
I would like to ask Hillary a two part question. Do you get millions in campaign money from India and did you promise them outsourcing will never stop? And please give me a yes or no answer. Since I am a woman you can't accuse me of sexism. And if you speak the truth there is no way for anyone to play gotcha.

King Liberal
I don't know but I suspect I disagree 180 degrees with you politically. However, there is a dose of reality in the points you have made.

I'm couldn't ever vote for Hilary, but I certainly don't hate her. And what happened after the debate does make me queasy about where we are when she makes a huge gaffe about driver's licenses to illegals, tries to spin her way out of it, and doesn't really pull it off. Now, everyone knows that the vast majority of people in America would not support licenses for illegals, and I think just about everyone knows in their heart of hearts that Hilary really does probably support the measure. But after this slice of debate life, she plays the victim/gender card, and surprise, her poll numbers go up.

Sad, to my way of thinking, but that is our reality. And I sure can't fault you for pointing out reality. But honestly, do you truly believe she is really the least bit hawkish, or is that just triangulation? Probably, in the long run, a smart position to stake out, but seems pretty disingenuous to me.

Why do Conservatives Hate Hillary & B
Bill Clinton was one of the most successful presidents because he led from the political center. This scares the hell out of conservatives because they depending on scaring moderates (who make up the majority) into voting against far left democrates. On the record, Republicans should find Hillary the most appealing of all the Democrates so why the hateful venim. Lets summarize the posts, she is awful (what does that mean), she is ambitious (Who wants a lazy and unambitious president), She is cunning and mean (unsubstaniated, and anyway if this is true why do conservatives love out current vice president) She offends easily. (Remember conservatives phoney outrage over Move-on, and the Dixie Chicks). Finally Bills indescretions (David Vitter, Larry Craig, and Rudy who was seeing his current 3rd wife while still married to #2)

Hillary is scary because she is the one person who can create a coalition of the middle. expose the Republicans as a regional party, and put far right conservatives back in the place they held for decades before Ronald Reagan as a fringe political movement. Scared people always make irrational arguments.

King Liberal
If attacking Hillary is a losing proposition, why are you so eager to talk us out of it?

"If Hillary said she agreed with everything Bush says the far right would still call her a liar."

Because that would not mitigate the fact she routinely lies about things. Pol Pott could agree with every one of Bush's positions, that would not change the fact that Pol Pott is a mass murderer.

You see, we are less inclined to excuse somebody's shortcomings in character just because they hit all the right policy positions.

That seems to be your more your side's game.

Suppose this for example. If it was discovered that years ago Dick Cheney had invested $1000 into the cattle futures market and had in a short time turned that into a $100,000 profit, would you perhaps be a little suspicious?

Let's further suppose that Cheney at the time had NO real experience in commodities trading like that and turning $1000 into $100,000 is equivalent to getting struck by lighting twice on the same day.

And suppose when asked how he managed to do that, he responded by saying, "Well, I just read The Wall Street Journal."

You'd probably call him a liar, right? So would I. Unfortunately, that is just what Hillary did.

Her name
shouldn't be used in the same sentence as Margaret Thacher.

Shillary lies like Myron Baloney
Actually, I could claim that she lies at a level even the traitorous erstwhile Canada PM (1984-1993) never reached!

Can't imagine Thatcher getting...
...tripped up over a question about driver's licenses for illegal aliens.

I recently read John O'Sullivan's "The President, The Pope, and The Prime Minister". Read that, and you'll conclude that only Thatcher can be Thatcher.

In 1989 she visited Russia and was able to debate two Communists on Russian television for everyone to see. Thanks, glasnost!

They had been dispatched to make a good showing for their beliefs. Two men against one woman.

And MAN, was THAT an unfair fight! Even Russians agreed that she made those two communist "experts" look like jackasses.

For YJ again -- your 10:21 post
You write about shillary that "she would certainly NOT be satisfied with being co-president, especially with one who 'spat in her face with his pecadiloes'".

Actually, the two were both adulterous (shillary known with Foster, Bubba with enough women to fill 15 brothels); but no argument that she would bump-off Bubba when he outlives usefulness--as she already proved with Foster.

Chains, Like a Big Mouth
Bass, you opened your mouth and got caught.

If Mr. Blackwell was describing the primary process, he would have used the term "democratic." He is clearly talking about the Democrat Party primary; hence, he used "Democrat."

Your quick-to-criticize-anything-Republican has exposed your own ignorance. Mr. Blackwell was right; you, on the other hand . . .

"King" Liberal
"Hillary supported the surge and voted to categorize the Quds Force as a terrorist organization. She was the first of the democratic candidates to break with the anti-war left and survive."

That proves nothing. Hillary will support ANYTHING if she thinks it will get her elected. On that point, she has quite a bit in common with her lying husband.

For Yukon Jack @ 10:29
Excellent comparison.

This Canuck-Yank almost did a double-take upon seeing Kim Campbell listed in there (as Campbell was only chosen as Tory leader due to being Myron Baloney's sycophant--analogous to the choice of John Turner as Liberal leader by Pierre-eh 9 years earlier); only later was the significance apparent--Shillary would be even worse having control of a nation (larger and more powerful too) than numpty Campbell was for 3 months (unfortunately, Shillary won't be out in that short a timeframe if she takesover)!

BTW, I would hesitate to consider harlotry (such as Evita Peron's) as "making it on own", but I guess that in comparison to Shillary it's like Mt. Robson compared to Death Valley.

No, she's not - thank heavens
I am sure Hillary would be happy with that compliment!

If Character Were Height
Shrillary Cartoon would have to stand on the top of The Empire State Building to kiss Margaret Thatcher’s Backside!

Can anyone imagine...
...Margaret Thatcher hesitating or waffling over her answer to a question of whether an illegal alien should have a driver's license?

The only problem she would have had with that one would have been getting over her incredulity that someone could be so insane as to seriously propose such a thing.

WWHD?

What would Hillary Do?

What would she do if she were president and the leaders of North Korea, Iran and Venezuela declared war on the USA?

no ronald reagan
for that matter, osama obama or rudy is no ronald reagan either.

Democrats/Hilary
The Dems will have a tough decision when voting for the next president. "Let's see, do I hold my nose and vote for Hillary or do I hold my nose and vote Republican!!

REB
once the campaign gets going after feb the public will be "treated" to never ending pictures of the missus clintonglaring at heroes, never ending soundbites of her idiotic statements and the failed attemptsd by her lackeys to explain her position. The missus clinton will discover that the greatest enemy facing her drive to fullfill her lust for power will be the missus clinton. How does she successfully attack herself while defending the track record of both the clinton's

For once 'Slick Willy' got it right!
He said "Even Bill Clinton got into the act and said the criticism of his wife is similar to the Swift Boat ads run against former Democratic nominee John Kerry."

Yes, both the Swift Boat ads and the criticism of his wife are true; both Kerry and SHitlary are lying conniving scumbags, who deserve to have the truth about them exposed. Kerry got his come-uppance, who will do a similar ad about her?

Yukon Jack
Exactly, she'll do what all Black Widow's do, and I can't think of anyone else who will deserve it more. Well, maybe Harry Reid.

Hillary is a crybaby.
Hillary recently whined that her male opponents were "ganging up" on her. If she is that thin-skinned, I shudder to think how she'll handle the presidency. Do we really want a crybaby leading our nation?

Hilbil is no Maggie
Gawd No!!!!!!!Maggie Has Class!

That is something the Clintons have in ZERO amounts. The "scum" just won't wash off them.

Hillary is no Maggie
The author has summed things up very well. We do have a woman in this country who is not only very well qualified but for whom I would gladly vote: Phyllis Schlaffley. She has strength, character, a genius mentality, and experience as a judge. She has run a successful enterprise and pretty much did all this on her own. She is not afraid to take on the serious challenges, either.

THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MARRIAGE
HILLARY DOESN'T REALIZE IT, BUT SHE AND HER RADICAL FEMINISTA DID MARRIAGE A FAVOR:

THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE IS THE WORST THING TO HAPPEN TO DIVORCE LAWYERS:

FEMINISM

BY LISA RICHARDS
NOVEMBER 6, 2007

The idea of feminism being great for traditional marriage sounds ludicrous. But in actuality, it’s true.

No, I have not lost my marbles. I am a feminist, just not a radical feminist like Gloria Steinem and the genderless Hillary Clinton. I’m a feminist in the fashion of Abigail Adams, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, the Women of Suffrage, Amelia Earhart, and Condoleezza Rice (though she is still single and waiting): the kind of women who believe in marriage, family, loving one’s husband, believing he’s the head of the house, yet having equality with our husbands through fidelity and respect.

The women above were and are career women who did and do things that inspire women to be great and feminine, not men. So how does feminism actually help marriage and ruin divorce lawyers; I’ll tell you.

When the 1960’s radical women’s movement took hold, Gloria Steinem and her followers told women not to marry, not to be beholden to a man, not to let a man pay their way. And Steinem’s followers believed her by emulating her actions. They stayed single…until Ms. Steinem got married in her forties, showing that all women, at some point in time, realize they want a husband—whether they can have children or not. And thus “Ms.” Steinem’s followers hit that certain age and followed suit, marrying in their forties as well.

And low and behold the feministas believe in fidelity and staying married! ...

hmmm
Similarly Golda Meier was a leader.

No I won't vote for Hillary. I did not watch the debates. I saw that question played over and over again and yes the question, yes it was unclear. It started off asking her why she she said she could see Spitzer's reasoning and then asked her for her opinion as if she had changed her mind.

Sorry but if I say I can understand a person's reasoning that does not mean I have made a decision to support it. If the rule was that if you understand the reasoning you support the position, that would mean that all dems are traitors, since they are always spouting off about understanding Al Qaeda and understanding Iraqi "insurgents" fighting for their country. Yet we are told that they are not traitors. Make up your mind what the rules are. Don't keep changing them. If a parent tells a teen ager "I understand your reasoning" that does not mean that the teenager gets to do what he/she wanted to do. The adult has other things to consider that are not in the mind of the teen ager.

HRC is a double-minded wimp
Hillary has proven the only debates she can handle are the ones where she knows the questions beforehand. She WANTS to play with the big boys, but she has NO self-control! She has proven this in congressional subcommittee meetings where she points her finger at others in the meeting and says "Shut up, I'm trying to make a point here!" Is she the only one who can talk? Doesn't she realize others have valuable and MORE knowledge AND EXPERIENCE in politics, than she does???

Do you think someone who deals with people in private meetings as she does, could handle diplomacy? I don't think so! Our foreign relations would plummet downhill! Unless of course, it was "getting in bed" with the communists or anyone else who has given her money for her political campaign.

Margaret Thatcher, on the other hand, was a saint compared to HRC! She thought on her feet, she never pulled the gender card. She wasn't constantly relying on someone to get her out of messes because she didn't put her foot in her mouth all the time like HRC! She made a decision and stood by it, HRC can't make a decision to save her life!

Knowing her past, Hillary will deny any association with her contributors and "friends" IF "Heaven FORBID" she were elected; just as she has denounced knowing Ron Paul and others:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdUdkFMFrkQ
The Clintons are some of the most deceitful politicians ever to run for president!

ANYONE BUT HILLARY !
No matter WHO eventually gets the Republican nomination, I'm voting for them...please convince those who would sit out the election because their Republican favorite isn't nominated is handing the presidency to Hillary!

I will be silent no longer....

yukon jack
Many others have asserted there are only two people in this world who unconditionally love bubba. They are bubba and the missus clinton. The missus clinton klnows that without bubba she is a total non-entity. The leftist/libs are nostalgic about a bubba that never existed and believe that electing his missus will return bubba to power. The missus' previous full time job was saving and enabling his lifestyle. She deferred to him then and will continue to do so for as long as the two of them breathe. The clintons are not two individuals but rather a compilation of two persona's so inter-twined that they really can't exist apart

Comparing Hillary
to Margaret Thatcher is an insult to any decent human being on Earth.

It is like comparing a spelling bee champion to Albert Einstein.

Hillary does not compare favorably to:

Benazir Bhutto

Golda Meir

Evita Perron

Kim Campbell.

Or for that matter, Britney Spears.

ALL of the above women - unlike Hillary - made it on their own.

Regardless how his reprobate "husband" would like to spin it otherwise.

Does Bill not realize
that if and when Hillary is elected President (GOD FORBID!!) he will be toast?

Once he will have served his purpose (i.e. getting Hillary elected) she will have no more use for him.

All her life she wanted to be President. Do you honestly think she would be satisfied with a CO-PRESIDENT??

Especially one who spat in her face time after time with his pecadilloes?

Rest assured, she will dump the bum, post haste. She will insist to be called President Rodham.

I wish I could pick lottery nu,mbers with that much confidence and certainty.

Does Hillary need Bill this badly?
If former President Clinton wanted to paint the efforts of rivals of his wife as "swift-boating", as being the bottom-of-the-line cruelty, maybe he should have used the term "BORKING".

No activity in politics has ever been as despicable as the attempts of Joe Biden, Ted Kennedy et al to besmirch an innocent man, Robert Bork.

Followed by the same despicable "high-tech lynching" of Justice Thomas.

Compared to those, the totally truthful "swift-boating" of a phoney "hero" seems complimentary.

It takes
a village idiot to support Hillary.

Hillary a Woman?
She'll have to prove that first. From what I've seen she's little more then a whiny self-serving arrogant female.

no thatcher
absolutely right. TYhe missus clinton lacks principles and morals. She is guided by her sense of her entitlementto be president, as though it is reward for enabling and defending her molester husband and even worsr a total lust for power over others.

Minor correction
The name of Colin Thatcher's ex-wife was JoAnn, not Joanne--though that doesn't alter the fact that he murdered her (in the garage of her Regina home) in 1983.

Right on Elkiejg!!!
Thanks for saying so eloquently what I also think. I work in a professional accounting office and actually have 2 "women" here that said they are voting for her ONLY because she is a woman. I can't repeat exactly what my response was to them - but, it had something to do with them being "mindless twits"!

All about power

The reason Hillary stayed with Bill is that there is no power or presitige in being th ex-wife of the President.

She is all about power.

Chains.....
"it should read democratic primary"

Chains, PLEASE re-take 3rd grade English grammar class. Your ignorance is breathtaking to say the least

'democratic' dem·o·crat·ic (dm-krtk)
adj. = Of or for the people in general; popular: a democratic movement;

'Democrat' dem·o·crat (dm-krt)= Of, relating to, or characteristic of the Democratic Party.

THANK "GOD"
Senator Clinton is no Mrs. Thatcher, and to this I say "Thank God'!Americans love to fantasize about past leaders;Thatcher,Churchill,Reagan.etc.But,upon close examination, these leaders were far less than they portrayed. We are feeling fearful, and like any "IMMATURE" person we need some reassurances.WHY?As the "OLD FOLKS" use to say;"You Got Yourself In, Now Get yourself Out".We cannot be "Home of the Brave"sometimes and little "Whiners" when things get ROUGH. We are faced with a series of Challenges, which in time will help further build, our Character, as a YOUNG nation.Let "US" meet the FUTURE with expectations of SUCCESS!WHY NOT? As Americans, "US" must be careful, not to polarize our electorate,to a point, wherein Mrs. Clinton will lack the support necessary to lead "US".Being shortsighted can be extremely DANGEROUS,so lets avoid the PREDICTABLE...

Taking "Maggie" & "Thatcher" apart
Then Shillary matches EACH (but not the two combined):
(1) Like Maggie Trudeau, Shillary is an adulterous termagant with an also-adulterous/womanising husband***
(2) Like former SK MLA Colin Thatcher (son of erstwhile SK Premier Ross Thatcher), Shillary is an unrepentant murderer (despite of not being convicted, unlike Thatcher--who was convicted in 1984 for the murder of his ex-wife Joanne Wilson)

***All Canadians knew of Pierre's womanising before he was ever married, where most Yanks had to find out after the already-married Bubba became president; also no evidence that Maggie Kemper Trudeau ever wanted to be Canada's PM.

I just finished reading
Barbara Olson's book "Hell To Pay." Even allowing for Mrs. Olson's political leanings, the descriptions of Mrs. Clinton provided by those around her in the Clinton White House are telling.

There are too many personal observations being published about Hillery's abusive personality to ignore.

She is reaping what she has sown.

More like Maggie Trudeau than Thatcher
Like Margaret Kemper Trudeau, Shillary:
(1) has a womanising, adulterous husband (difference was that Pierre-eh was already known as womaniser PRIOR to marriage)
(2) is adulterous (again, in MT's case, not secret anytime)
(3) is a termagant

The one DIFFERENCE is in there being no evidence of Maggie Trudeau ever wanting to be PM--last came out of woodwork for ex-husband's (undeserved) funeral.

There is also a Thatcher to which Shillary can be compared: Colin (son of erstwhile SK Premier Ross Thatcher, SK MLA until 1984 conviction for murdering ex-wife Joanne Wilson), as she is also unrepentant murderer.

Chains:
Given the typos and erronous grammar in your post, I find it odd that you deign to criticize Mr. Blackwell's appropriate use of the term "democrat primary voters." In case you hadn't noticed, there has been a trend to the term "democrat voter" to describe voters who are Democrats vs. all voters.

Lighten up!

chains: Nice try, but . . .
. . . "Democrat primary" is a rhetorical device to demonstrate that your party envisions a world that is anything but democratic. It is purposefully inflammatory as well as brutally honest. And it worked--you flamed. One cannot expect better from someone who writes for a living.

On the other hand, I personally prefer to say "dhimmi-cRAT primary." It says so much in just a few syllables, don't you agree?

Juseff
"Maggie Thatchers, like Ronald Reagans, come once in a lifetime."
Unfortunately so did Hillary Clinton, perhaps it's nature's way of balancing things out, only at our expense.

Elena Ceausescu reincarnated
Elena Ceausescu, the self described "Mother of Romania". Google this Communist termagent. Then try to figure out if there are any differences between her and Hillary. Be afraid, be very afraid.....

Ms. Hillary
I just finished re-reading "Unlimited Access; An FBI Agent Inside The Clinton White house" by Gary Aldrich, to get a general "feel" for what sort of President "Her Inevitableness" (to borrow Chris Muir's term from "Day By Day") might be.

My conclusion? This is a person with both a sense of entitlement, an overweening self-righteousness, and a soul-burning despisement of anyone who differs from her in any way whatsoever. She is convinced that she is perfect, so anyone who disagrees with her is stupid and evil. And must be treated accordingly.

She is no kinder to those who are nominally on her side. If they are inferior to her, they are to show her "respect"- not in the usual American sense, but more like that of the royalty of ancient China, who could and did have people beheaded for not genuflecting quickly enough as they went by. (She never allowed White House staffers to look at her, according to Aldrich.) This sort of arrogance conflicts with the customary culture of our Executive Branch, to say the least.

When she wins the general election, I look for a wave of early retirements and requests for transfer from the White House staff, especially those who were there from 1992 to 2000. Because they've already been through this once, and probably don't feel like doing a repeat.

Read Aldrich's book. It is entertaining- in a scary sort of way.

cheers

Hillary *IS* a Maggie!
Rod Stewart has really aged - and this clip is from 10 years ago.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=hAh1b1GaZqw

Thi will be fun
Not to sure why Ken would even try to make a comparison with the prime minister but it will be fun to see the post this will create among the hill haters. Two points Thatcher was a great leader and it is what this country desperately needs, and would someone tell Ken that the following "Democrat primary" is grammatically incorrect it should read democratic primary. I would expect better from some one who writes for as living

Hillary's ghost
Didn't Hillary once say she talks to the ghost of Eleanor Roosevelt? Not literally, of course, but it certainly shows that she is anything but a Margaret Thatcher type. The Socialist ER is reincarnated in Hillary, but with a mean streak a mile wide.

Margaret Thatcher
Margaret Thatcher was a LEADER. Hillary Clinton is a POLITICIAN. Big difference. Thatcher had principles that guided her leadership of Great Britain. Hillary's only principle is the power she seeks. She never has lead anything.

Hillary
shouldn't even be used in the same sentence with Maggie Thatcher.

"Mrs. Clinton’s critical flaw(s)" are far more important than playing the victim at the drop of a hat. She is America's worst nightmare. She's crooked, deceitful, sleazy, power hungry beyond reason and a socialist who will absolutely ruin this country. Anyone who thinks Bill was bad for this country - and he was in more ways than we can imagine - she will be far worse.

I'm an independent woman - a "feminist" I guess - and I would cut off my arm before I'd vote for Hillary just because of her gender -- I don't identify with the "victim" act. Wakeup American females - playing victim to the likes of skirt chasing Bill has set the stature of women back generations.

If Hillary is really as strong and tough as she claims, why hasn't she kicked his sorry A** out by now? And please - don't try to claim "they love each other."

AMEN
Maggie Thatchers, like Ronald Reagans, come once in a lifetime.
