Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

We were a bit amused that President Obama sought to console the wealthy attendees of a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Washington, telling them to hang in there until the economy improves: "There will be days when the markets go up; there will be days when the markets go down."

"We know that the road to our future is going to be long," he said. "We're going to hit our share of bumps and setbacks before it ends."

Each couple in attendance on Wednesday evening paid $30,400 to hear Mr. Obama's 13-minute address.

HERE AND MISSING

Former White House senior adviser Karl Rove certainly has found ways to remain in the spotlight - by his own choosing and otherwise.

Now a regular fixture on the Fox News Channel, the former top aide to President George W. Bush made headlines this week by calling President Obama arrogant.

"If Karl Rove wants to call someone arrogant, perhaps he and Dick Cheney should look in the mirror," reacted Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse, who blasted Mr. Rove and Co. for driving the American economy into the ground.

Now comes word from former Federal Election Commission staffer Kent Cooper, who with fellow one-time FECer Tony Raymond launched the popular Web site Capitol Hill Access, which the Republican National Committee recently reported to the FEC that it paid computer forensics firm Stroz Friedberg another $25,960 on Jan. 29.

"This is the forensics firm that has been looking for 'lost' electronic data, mainly e-mails of Rove," Mr. Cooper noted. "This brings the total paid to Stroz up to $367,575, and that does not include the Covington Burling [legal] payments."

The costly search for the electronic mailings began after the RNC informed Congress that it was missing several years' worth of Mr. Rove's e-mails that are sought as part of a wider congressional investigation into the Bush administration. Continued...

Insight
Poor Souls, indeed! They spent $30,400 a couple to hear BO’s 13 minute talk telling them to hang in there, because the markets go up and down, and the road to the future will be long with bumps and setbacks before it ends. WOW! This stuff is right out of “Chance the Gardener’s” playbook. I hope the food was more than exceptional!

Here and Missing: Rove and Cheney are more productive calling BO arrogant on TV. They would not have much of an audience standing in front of a mirror. Also, if you are looking for ‘lost’ electronic data; it’s in the same file as BO’s birth certificate, college grades, law review writings, and the records of his financial assistance.

Hangers On: It is very appropriate that Carville would use the analogy of the circus since he has spent so much of his career as a clown. I will also remind Carville that the “Donkeys” were in control of the House for FORTY years between 1955 and 1995 and THIRTY-FOUR of those same years in the Senate. Now that left so much entrenched stuff to be cleaned up, it couldn’t be removed even with a jackhammer.

Note to JC; look up the definition of ‘good’. Just don’t bother to ask Clinton; he doesn’t even know the definition of ‘is’. If I ever see you, I will offer to buy you a ‘Double Veggie Burger’.

Rich Dimocraps
I cant believe there any rich dimocraps, dont they realize that next year they wont be able to buy 30,000 dollar a plate meals because their messiah is going to take all the money thay have over 200,000 and spread it out to all the poor welfare homeless people. I know that like all Dimocraps they believe that BHO means for this to apply only to Republicans but they are in for a nasty suprise. Of course B.Hussein Obama was not born in this country and he has no colledge grades because he didnt graduate, to his sheeple this is meaningless, and a distraction.
