The pushback on health care change is just a bunch of bed-wetting for no particular reason, according to President Obama and his White House press secretary.

"There's something about August going into September — (laughter) — where everybody in Washington gets all wee-weed up," Obama said last Thursday to laughter. He was belittling the growing pushback regarding his proposed health care changes during a forum at the Democratic National Committee headquarters,

The next day, when asked, "What is wee-weed up?" White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs attempted to explain. "I don't know if I should do that from the podium," he said to laughter. "It's a phrase I use, but ... Let's do this in a way that is family-friendly. I think wee-weed up is when people just get all nervous for no particular reason. ... This is sort of an August pundit pattern between people getting overly nervous for something that still has a long way to go. Bed-wetting is — would be probably the more consumer-friendly term."

While Obama might be attempting to belittle the pushback, the concern over his policy is real. According to a Gallup poll this month, 49 percent of Americans disapprove of his handling of health care policy versus just 43 percent who approve.

Obama's dedication to pushing through health care changes, potentially without bipartisanship, is approaching perseveration rather than persistence. Perseveration is the "continuation of something to an exceptional degree or beyond a desired point," according to Webster's Online Dictionary.

Think of it as beyond persistence.

Obama might argue that he is simply being optimistic regarding health care change.

Dr. Martin Seligman, director of the University of Pennsylvania Positive Psychology Center, encourages people to become optimistic by changing their thoughts regarding adversity. The core of his approach leads to a reframing of beliefs from pervasive and permanent to specific and temporary.

This change in thinking about an adversity will lead to a different action, and more energy moving forward, according to Seligman, who is the author of "Learned Optimism."

Obama may be using this model in his approach to health care change. Continued...

conclusion to armageddon 666
To conclude,

It was OUR fault for alienating all those hispanic voters who went over to Obama. They would have helped swing those elections in our favor, but we expressed HATE for all hispanics --because of our racial exclusiveness. That's the stigma people like YOU have attached to our party.

Please understand this truth:

No one likes a racist. For any reason, anytime, any way. Get it understood as well: Hispanics are the fastest-growing voting bloc in America and here to stay. You can curse it and lament it all you like, that's just a losing cause.

armaggedon wants a solution

The fact is, we have two worlds in America, regardless of numbers. You know only the white population, and it's been decimated by self-destructive behavior. We teach our youngsters to cheat out of sexual license; with contraceptives. They also refuse the responsibility of raising children in their adult lives.

The African in our society is out of control not because they don't breed. They out-do us altogether, through VCE and abortion as birth control.

They're out of control because of our own liberal political correctness. Which isn't about to end.

Hispanics were in this land since before the birth of George Washington, and now their presence here is resented as some kind of intrusion. We also know there's an illegal strain on our population, much of it Spanish-speaking. You seem to believe this is all insulting and intolerable. But it really isn't. The reason you decry the invaders from south of the border is simple. Not because they tend to welcome children as blessings from God. That would be normal.

You resent them because they aren't 100% white men and women. You live in racial hatred.

As you tell it here; the total population is 300 million. Of these numbers, about 8 to 10 million are Spanish-speaking. Since when can't a prosperous country absorb that many? We can and we'll HAVE to! Since by your own hate-speech during the 2006--2008 election campaigns you denigrated and defamed them as near-animals; causing us (GOP conservative Americans) to LOSE both our majority in Congress and the White House.
