Poll
Will Congress pass Obamacare by the end of the year?

"I don't believe you."

That's what I told "conservative campaign consultant" Rick Shaftan on last night's radio show.

Shaftan had been quoted in Thursday's Washington Times as saying "Conservatives aren't motivated to come out, is what I'm finding. They see no reason to re-elect the people who are in office."

I asked Mr. Shaftan was he conducting polling, for whom, and was it published?

No, it wasn't published, he replied, and that he did some work for the Minutemen. Then, as he began to get back to his fable, I stopped him and told him I simply don't believe it.

Instead of attempting to persuade me and the audience that he was legit, he hung up. The transcript will be up later here. The audio will be here.

Why my skepticism?

I have been in Minnesota, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Ohio over the past five days. I have appeared at rallies that filled large rooms to capacity with enthusiastic volunteers. I have had candid conversations with four members of the House --Mark Kennedy, Mike Sodrel, David Dreier and Deborah Pryce, three senators, Rick Santorum, Jim Talent, and Norm Coleman, and other candidates such as Rick O'Donnell and Doug Lamborn in Colorado, Michele Bachmann and Alan Fine in Minnesota, and Ken Blackwell in Ohio.

More importantly I have talked with hundreds of members of the GOP base in a variety of different cities, each with a unique set of political circumstances. I polled every audience.

To this I add literally thousands of e-mails from listeners and readers as well as continual calling to various pundits and political pros, and the compulsive assessment of the polls --good and bad-- that stack up at RealClearPolitics.com.

There is simply no data to support the idea of significant if any turnout diminishment. There is grousing. There is posing. There is much struggle to claim Spenglerian cred. Continued...

Shadow Govt.

Dear Minutemen,

"About 1,000 documents obtained in a Freedom of Information Act
request to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America
show the White House is engaging in collaborative relations with Mexico
and Canada outside the U.S. Constitution, says WND columnist and author
Jerome Corsi. "The documents give clear evidence that the Bush
administration has created a 'shadow government,'" Corsi said. The
documents can be viewed on a special website set up by the Minuteman
Project - http://www.StopSPP.com .... "

Minutemen, while we were busy... some in our government were busy too.

Please visit our new website, "Stop the Security and Prosperity
Partnership" - http://www.StopSPP.com

We have worked for weeks with Dr. Corsi and Jim Gilchrist to develop
this site. Along with the FOIA documents requested by Dr. Corsi, we
have several articles on the SPP and the North American Union. We also
have a new Poll online and a Forum section for your comments. Much more
will be added over the next several months.

Please let others know about StopSPP.com - We need your help to fight
the North American Union!

For the Cause, Linda

MINUTEMAN PROJECT EXPOSES WHITE HOUSE COVER-UP

Documents reveal 'shadow government'

Freedom of Information request puts 1,000 new pages online

Washington, D.C. - About 1,000 documents obtained in a Freedom of
Information Act request to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of
North America show the White House is engaging in collaborative
relations with Mexico and Canada outside the U.S. Constitution, says
Minuteman columnist and author Dr. Jerome Corsi.

"The documents give clear evidence that the Bush administration has
created a 'shadow government,'" Corsi said.

The documents can be viewed here http://stopspp.com/stopspp/? page_id=11, on a special website set up by the Minuteman Project.

Bureaucrats from agencies throughout the Bush administration are
meeting regularly with their counterpart bureaucrats in the Canadian
and Mexican governments to engage in a broad rewriting of U.S.
administrative law and regulations into a new trilateral North American
configuration, Corsi contends.

"We have hundreds of pages of e-mails from U.S. executive branch
administrators who are copying the e-mail to somewhere between 25 to
100 people, a third of whom are in the U.S. bureaucracy, a third of
whom are in the Mexican bureaucracy, and a third of whom are in the
Canadian bureaucracy," said Corsi.

"They are sharing their laws and regulations so we can 'harmonize' and
'integrate' our laws into a North American structure, not a USA
structure."

Corsi claims the process is well along the way.

"This is totally outside the U.S. Constitution, virtually an executive
branch coup d'etat," he said. "SPP is creating new trilateral memoranda
of understanding and mutual agreements which should be submitted to
Senate for two-thirds votes as international treaties."

Corsi said the documentation he received is missing key pieces.

"We received very few actual agreements, though many are referenced,"
he said. "Many of the work plans described lack the work products which
the groups say they produced."

The Republican party is lost
If we keep voting for the lesser of 2 evils, we are still left with evil. It is time to vote for the person, regardless of political party, who has the foundation beliefs that support and defend the Constitution of our great country.

Do continue doing what we have been doing is insuring America will keep declining. The Republicans might bring it down more slowly, but bring it down, they will. That is, unless they police their own party and get true Conservatives running for office.

The ones we have now, gave us the Patriot Acts, a national ID card, the Military Commission Act which provides for American citizens being arrested and sent to secret prisons indefinitely, Homeland security cameras on every corner, illegal wiretapping of Americans, the signing of non-free trade agreements that have/are shipping our industry and jobs overseas, our borders being overrun by illegal aliens, while we sent the border patrol to prison that try to stop them.

I'm sorry, what I see in the Republican Party right now is a bunch of socialists, or what they'd rather call themselves, Neo-cons. They have no relationship whatsoever to traditional conservative ideals and they need to be voted out of office.
