At Least Don Imus Didn't Call Black Republicans 'Moronic'

With unemployment at 10.2%, what will happen by the end of Obama's first term?

Don Imus's slip of the lip created a media and racial outrage. He immediately acknowledged his mistake and apologized in person to the Rutgers women basketball team members. They accepted his apology with dignity and class.

John Sugg is Senior Editor of Creative Loafing, a limited distribution weekly paper based in Atlanta, Georgia. Sugg did not have a slip of the pen or a runaway keyboard when he referred to me and all black Republicans as moronic. Sugg wrote, "Being a black Republican is not only oxymoronic, it's simply plain old-fashioned moronic." In the same article he also referred to me as a "sorry opportunist" and a "token," because I chose to run as a Republican in the Georgia 2004 U.S. Senate primary election.

I ran as a Republican not because I am an opportunist, but because my political views are conservative.

I consider Sugg's references to me and all black people insulting and ignorant. Mr. Sugg clearly exposes one of the main intellectual deficiencies of liberals. In the absence of facts or sound logic to defend their ideological opinions, they use name calling and racial slurs to discourage others from venturing off the Democratic plantation.

I am not looking for an apology from Mr. Sugg. And make no mistake about it, I do not need or want any of the race hustlers speaking for me and stirring the racial outrage. Millions of other black people like me are thinking and speaking for themselves.

What I would like to know from Mr. Sugg is how he arrived at such a choice of words for me and other black Republicans. Maybe he chose to ignore my academic credentials. Maybe my professional accomplishments during my business career were just moronic luck. Or, maybe my impressive second place finish in the 2004 Georgia Republican primary was a political fluke. Or just maybe the 172,000 people who voted for me did not know the color of my eyes, and that, according to Mr. Sugg, I was a moron, sorry opportunist and token.

Oh, and about the characterization of me as a token. Set aside for a moment Sugg's abject racism in using that word. I would assume a "token" would already be elected to office, with the blessing and support of the political establishment. In my case, nothing could be further from the truth. The Georgia Republican Party did not ask me to run for the Senate nomination. Nor did I ask the state party for permission. I was not even the establishment's choice. And when the race was over, where was the Georgia Republican Party? On the phone, asking me to help raise money for Republican candidates. Some token.

Ignorance is defined as the lack of knowledge of something or someone. Although the politically sensitive police discourage the use of the word ignorant in public forums, there are times when the watered down version, uninformed, is just not accurate enough. You make the call. Continued...

Blacks who love jesus, vote McCain!!!!!!
Most negros have been spoonfed that they have to vote for obama. And they all follow inline like lambs to the slaughter. McCain needs to adress the problems that black people face... So many of them are drug addics, illetirate, un-employed and on welfare and robbing people and having too many babies. We need to solve their problems to make our streets safer and not have so many prisioners. Yeah, and what have the f*cking demoncrats done for the country lately besides give more free gub'mint cheese to the negroes?

Just because "Osama" is a negro dosnt mean he can fix their problems.

John McCain is the only cannidate that will fufill our presidents war on islam. What we need in these endtimes is a good strong coneretive anti-libaral, non-hippie who holds true to the word of our lord. I really hope WHEN McCain becomes president he lives up to the republican platform and ends abortion, criminalizes gay sex and marrage and stops de-regulashion. We need to invade andor nuke iran and all these terriorists before its too late. This is exacly what the bible pridected would happen if the world fell away from his word. Armogeddon is close at hand we must stop them as a global force and unite christians and live as the word would tell us. and wage war against the non-beilevers and democarats and libarals.

"The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked."( gays & muslims)

(Psalms 58:10)

The death line
Mr. Herman Cain is a great inspiration letting me know that I am not fighting the battle alone. 98% of Blacks I speak to tell me that they vote Dixiecrats because the Republican Party is only take care of the rich and leave their feet on the poor. I am called a Oreo and ignorant when I tell them that I am a Black republican. It is sad(which I was a one point) that Blacks are not aware of the history of the Democratic Party. I think it is sad when ANYBODy would vote for Hillary who thinks it is OK for a 16 year old to abort a child without a parent's consent. The main sad issue is that majority of Blacks are "conservative". They just yell "racist" when they hear Republicans say, " You have to fight for yourself and Only receive help from others than from government." I fight everyday pointing out how the inner GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS are detroying the Black community. How the poor will basically benefit from the fairtax bill. How the Hip-Hop culture has turned into a criminal and flashy image for the children. I would like to hear a child say that their Father is their role model instead of a professional athlete.

Hence is why i felt like there was a death line when I left the Democratic plantation.
