Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

If you’re a twisted adult who gets pleasure from having sex with 5-year-old boys (like Duke University’s Frank Lombard), or you like to shop for dates at the Metro Zoo, or enjoy smearing your body with feces and/or dabbin’ a little urine on your earlobes as you prep for sexy time with the corpse you dressed up like Bette Davis in your basement, then more than likely you are thanking Dionysus and your unclean demon that Liberals are running DC.

Yep, with the Liberals in the house your deviant behavior—along with over 500 additional unmentionables—could potentially be legitimized and federally protected against anyone who says you’re a crazy bastard who should undergo chemical castration and have your frontal lobe scraped for your aberrant bents.

In the Ted Kennedy spawned wording of S.909, The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act, it appears that the public verbalization that one thinks an individual is a bubble off level if engaging in the anomalous and illegal aspects of the bumping of uglies could, in the not too distant future, get the verbalizer in a legal pickle of mammoth portions. If S.909 gets through, the goobers who like to do odd and often criminal stuff with the gibbering monkey in their pants will be insulated from legitimate insults and criticisms, no matter how true the critique because that’s “hate,” which could, as we’re being told, lead to a crime.

As stated, this bill does not just protect Brad and Chad from the supposed “hate speech” of a Rev. John MacArthur, Jr. exposition of Romans 1:18-32. Oh, no. It also pretty much defends all “sexual orientation(s),” “gender,” and “gender identity” flakiness as federally-protected classes—up to 547 types of sexually-twisted behaviors, in all—including: • Incest – sex with one’s offspring (a crime, of course)

• Necrophilia – sexual relations with a corpse, also a crime

• Pedophilia – sex with an underage child, another crime

• Zoophilia – bestiality, a crime in numerous states

• Voyeurism – a criminal offense in most states

• Frotteurism – rubbing against an unknown person’s body in public

• Coprophilia – sexual arousal from feces

• Urophilia – sexual arousal from urine

Yes, in the politically correct climate of Obamaland, they don’t want us to—cough—“freak” when Chester passes by sportin’ a pink tutu, unlaced black hiking boots, milk jugs duct-taped to his head, and his left hand spot-welded to his crotch, Wacko Jacko style. I’m sorry. I meant Saint Michael Jackson style.

If S.909 gets the green light, any public denunciation of a perv boy’s penchants, particularly if it stems from Christians quoting God on the topic, will be verboten verbiage if said legislation blows through with senatorial support.

This means that just as the governments of Norway, Sweden and Canada have criminalized certain parts of the Bible, the Amerikan Liberals too want to duct tape the few American pastors who read particular parts of the Verbum Dei which state that checking Jedediah’s oil is a sin, and so is having sex with children and goats. Because, you see, a caring pastor’s denunciation of such sexually-warped actions could be linked to some loser’s criminal misbehavior against those that practice such things and could make the goodly parson, because he called a spade a spade, complicit in the hate crime. What nonsense.

For more info and to let your senator know you think this bill, which will eradicate common sense, our religious liberties, and the Christians’ freedom of speech, is BS log on to http://www.capwiz.com/gopusa/issues/bills/?bill=13297951 to do something about it.

Awwwwwww....
Anderson found a blogger who has nothing to do with the legislation who supports his position. Awwww... That's sweet!

Good for you Anderson.

William you are ohh, so right!
You are definitely NOT a lawyer as you state.

Admitting “Hate Crimes” Bill a Scam

Liberty Alliance Action has commended Andrew Sullivan – one of the foremost leaders in the homosexual activist movement worldwide – for publicly admitting that “hate crimes” bill S. 909 is, among other things, simply a money making scheme drummed up by the organized homosexualist lobby.

On his popular blog, “The Daily Dish,” Sullivan recently admitted:

The real reason for hate crime laws is not the defense of human beings from crime. There are already laws against that — and Matthew Shepard’s murderers were successfully prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in a state with no hate crimes law at the time. The real reason for the invention of hate crimes was a hard-left critique of conventional liberal justice and the emergence of special interest groups which need boutique legislation to raise funds for their large staffs and luxurious buildings. Just imagine how many direct mail pieces have gone out explaining that without more money for HRC, more gay human beings will be crucified on fences. It’s very, very powerful as a money-making tool - which may explain why the largely symbolic federal bill still hasn’t passed.

“Well, the cat’s out of the bag,” said Barber. “I almost never, if ever, agree with Andrew Sullivan on anything. But I must give credit where credit is due. Sullivan’s admission that S. 909 is both a ‘symbolic’ and ‘meaningless…money-making tool’ devised by the extremist homosexual lobby is both refreshing and stunning at the same time.

“I hope Sullivan will now join me in calling for his fellow homosexual activist leaders, such as HRC’s Joe Solmonese, to exhibit the same kind of candor relative to this anti-American ‘hate crimes’ charade, do the honorable thing and come together to request that the Senate withdraw S. 909 from consideration"

Yep William you know absolutely nothing.

Anderson
Again, I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure as long as you don't commit violence you can continue to be a bigot. No worries, right?

Of course anderson does not want...
to see the obvious as to what 'actual or perceived means'!

Which of course simply means that if you commit an act of violence against those protected it does not matter if you 'perceive' that the person is homosexual or if the person 'actually is' homosexual, the crime is the same.

And of course if an act of violence is committed against a person because he/she is 'perceived' to be Christian or 'actually is' Christian, the crime is also the same!

Anderson, you are truly a complete and utter liar! And to use a quote which includes RELIGION in the very SAME sentence as sexual orientation and actually try to convince people that two words in the VERY SAME sentence means something different is very stupid indeed!!

Anderson, you just convicted yourself of a lie!

anderson, are you truly THAT stupid?
You said: "(C) is motivated by prejudice based on the actual or perceived race, color, RELIGION, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of the victim, or is a violation of the State, local, or tribal hate crime laws."

This is the EXACT SAME wording that exists for the ALREADY covered hate crimes law covering religion!! Do you not see religion in that VERY same quote anderson?

YOU are the LIAR anderson!!!!!!!!!!!!

And of course you fail to read this part:

"(3) CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit any constitutionally protected speech, expressive conduct or activities (regardless of whether compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief), including the exercise of religion protected by the First Amendment and peaceful picketing or demonstration. The Constitution does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence."

Do you honestly think people can't read anderson?!?

The text of this bill proves who the liars are anderson!

The ignorance of William and LIE
Both of you are of course, full of it.

Typical, read this part:

SEC. 4. SUPPORT FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS BY STATE, LOCAL, AND TRIBAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
(a) Assistance Other Than Financial Assistance-CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

(C) is motivated by prejudice based on the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of the victim, or is a violation of the State, local, or tribal hate crime laws.

As usual LIE and William, the two homosexual lawyers here at TH add their own twiat.

How does the terms "Prejudice" and "actual or perceived mean anything less than what the author states.

The only two liars here are LIE and William. Proven liars.

William #301
You are correct on all counts. I've made reference to this same URL, yet others insist on making things up.

As I pointed out earlier this bill would add to the already existing hate crimes law protecting religion and has very explicit first amendment protections.

However many on the other side just ignore that. Take the author Giles for example. He is a proven LIAR. He makes claims about this bill that a 3rd grader could read the bill and see that he is lying.

Some people just seem to pull this out of thin air because they sure don't have anything even remotely resembling facts to back it up.

s.909
So has anyone actually read this legistlation? It pretains to bodily injury. So, I'm no big city lawyer or anything, but I would imagine that means the homophobic christians are still free to be vocally homophobic, so long as they do not then cause bodily injury to the folks they are being bigotted against.

If you want to read it...
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-s909/text

But I suspect you perfer not reading it so you can keep tearing down strawmen.

Arguing the Absurd
Arguing the Absurd
You cannot argue on a sane basis against premises that are axiomatically absurd.
Homosexual activists have accepted the premises that they are normal in their sexual personality disorder and that their same–sex unions are equivalent to heterosexual marriages.
In order to erroneously justify the gay activist position on equating same-sex unions with marriage, they set up specious and semantic arguments. They claim “rights” for abnormal behavior that do not exist. They equate same-sex sex with heterosexual sex.
They falsely claim that classes of race and ethnicity are equivalent to classes of people engaging in aberrant and unnatural sexual behaviors, and that therefore they should be accorded the same legal “rights” to “marry” a same-sex person as Blacks have to marry Whites.
Arguing with a homosexual about his condition and his claims is like arguing with an emotionally unstable person about to commit suicide. The psychology of homosexuality is under the area of psychology called abnormal psychology. Abnormal Psychology studies criminality, personality disorders, psychoses, paranoia, aberrant behaviors, phobias, compulsions, obsessions, and maniacal behavior.

You said: "Remember THAT childish whine? Now for the freak lobby it's "Mommy make them LIKE US!". TWO percent of the population, a body of socio-genetic mistakes, wants to wield the power of the CONUS to bludgeon the other 98% into thinking the way THEY want them to.”

Really? And I am sure that you would have said the same thing about black people fighting for their rights!

When are you going to wake up and realize that we do NOT care one bit what you ‘think’ of us or whether you ‘like’ us! In fact we do NOT care if you HATE us. But the second you cross that line and try to deny us our rights, we are going to fight back!

Then you said: “What we do NOT want is an insidious infiltration into mainstream society by mostly decent abnormals who are led by a cadre of uberfreaks. These uberfreaks DO want to subvert the law to their ends. This DOES include taking away the tax status of any church that does not agree to "marry" them.”

Another false statement. You ever hear of the first amendment? Look I’m not denying nor have I ever denied that some might try to fight against a church who refuses to marry them! It is wrong and I would be the first to fight a couple who tried to do that. In reality all that is required is having courts do THEIR JOB!

It is also true that many misinterpret the First Amendment. For example, take two situations: 1) a same sex couple wants a church to marry them, the church says NO. Is the church protected by First Amendment? ABSOLUTELY they are. 2) A Christian county employee refuses to issue a marriage license to a same sex couple. Is that employee protected by First Amendment? Absolutely NOT because he is a COUNTY employee and not a church official.

Point being that many cases where Christians say their first amendment rights were violated falls into that second category. For anything that falls into the first category, let the courts do their job!

An Organized Minority
An Organized Minority
Gays are only 0.75% of the population of the United States: that is 75 gays per 10,000 people, or 75 homosexuals mixed in with every 9,925 normal people in the population. This percentage is the amount of dedicated homosexual adults. Larger figures include people who only experimented with homosexuality once or twice, are bisexual, or had a homosexual experience while a minor with another minor.
Because they are highly organized into pressure groups, well funded, and vociferous, they have influenced education, the American Psychiatric Association (APA), politics, and the courts.
A famous man said that, “A well organized minority can overcome a disorganized majority”. Gays had the APA remove Homosexuality from its list of abnormalities in 1973. Homosexuals are indoctrinating elementary school educators to include homosexuality as a “life style” choice for children. Homosexuals are influencing legislatures, courts, and the entertainment industry. Many innocent people now believe that homosexuality is normal behavior.
Homosexuality is a curable psychological behavior disorder based on male-female identity disorientation. Homosexuals are promiscuous because their sexual desire is not psychologically satisfied: because sex acts performed between two people of the same sex cannot achieve this satisfaction. Therefore, the homosexual is always looking for the next partner to give him the psychological satisfaction that he never finds.
That is the main reason that the Military does not want homosexuals in their ranks. Homosexuals destabilize the group harmony of a military unit because they are always looking for their next sexual partner.

Keep the Numbers in Perspective -
Keep the Numbers in Perspective -
Homosexuals are only 0.75% of the total population; that is 75 homosexuals in every 10,000 people of the population, or 75 homosexuals to every 9,925 normal people.
The homosexual activists are only 3 to 8 people per 10,000 total population.
The only way that they can get or maintain recognition and power is through an intense and coordinated campaign of propaganda, intimidation, and constant repetition of the lies that homosexuality is a healthy mental state and way of life. Their purpose in desiring to change the definition of marriage is to lend credibility, by a legal form of certification, to the idea that homosexuality is a normal condition.

The numbers game
Not that it really matters, but the "researchers" who have concluded that only 2 percent of the population is gay should be embarrassed to release those results. At the other extreme is a Harvard University study that found 20 percent have "homosexual impulses."

The disparity in various studies simply proves how difficult in doing this type of research in a homophobic society. We don't even have agreed-upon definitions of who is "gay." someone who did it once? Someone who did it since puberty? Someone who is above 3 on the Kinsey zero-to-six scale?

Let's look at some other numbers.

The 2000 U.S. census counted a total U.S. adult (18 and over) population of 209 million. The same census counted more than a million people in committed same-sex relationships, and because of admitted undercounting it was estimated the true number could have been more than 3 million.

If only 2 percent of adults were gay, then nearly a quarter of the homosexuals in the U.S. were not only in committed relationships but actually reported their status as such to the 2000 census-takers. (I think most say they're single.)

Before the current recession, the travel industry reported that travel was a $1.3 trillion market in the United States, and that gay travel accounted for $65 billion of it, or 5 percent. Are we to believe that 1 percent of the population accounts for 5 percent of the travel business? Gay travelers are not even counted in that figure unless they book at a gay resort or on a gay cruise.

In the 2000 presidential election, self-identified gays and lesbians accounted for 4 percent of the popular vote, according to the national gay-lesbian news magazine, The Advocate. And that doesn't include the “closeted” gay voters.

So those studies that are cited ad nauseum to marginalize gays are notoriously unreliable -- just like all the other anti-gay "facts" that are always repeated in these threads.

OK, then through in Dirkhising and
the hundreds that NEVER make national headlines.

Giles and Adams
Giles and Adams have gone a crusade against gay adoption because of this one case. The man guilty of these crimes should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Those that reviewed and approved him for adoption should be questioned.

Gay Rights? How Far?
Gay Rights? How Far?
"They are stretching their recently and rightfully acquired freedoms, such as the freedom from persecution, too far, and there could be a tragic backlash from the very individuals who have been taken in by the propaganda – that “gay is good.” How have gays been able to make society think that it is homophobic? Answer: in four ways.
No.1) Shame. They shamed people with charges that they’ve suffered from “discrimination.” And people have been taken in by the semantic confusion over the word “discrimination.” A good many newspaper editors, in fact, have become very undiscriminating in their rush to dismiss anyone who says anything negative about the gay liberation movement as “a homophobe.”
No. 2) Intimidation. Gay activists have succeeded in intimidating reporters and editors with all manner of threats. Larry Kramer, the founder of a gay activists group, once wrote to PBS anchorman Robin McNeil, charging that the McNeil/Lehrer News Hour was pulling punches in its reporting on AIDS and gay issues. Kramer sent copies of the letter to more than 50 journalists.
No. 3) Ignorance. A good many people (not only news editors) simply do not know what homosexuality is. And it seems that many of them don’t want to know.
No. 4) Mob psychology. Certain arbiters of culture have been able to drum in the idea that, “Hey, they’re only people.” But let’s look at some gay history, to see what can happen to many wonderful people who get caught up in asking for a freedom too far."
(From the book, “Homosexuality: a Freedom to Far: A Psychoanalyst Answers 1000 Questions About Causes And Cure And The Impact Of The Gay Rights Movement On American Society”, by Charles W. Socarides, M.D., ISBN 0-9646642-5-9, Adam Margrave Books, Suite 829, 5501 N. Seventh Avenue, Phoenix AZ 85013, Copyright 1995. Pages 37-38. Pages 63 to 68 discuss the percentage of Gays in the population.)

This is PC thought control at its worst. There are a few troglodytes who think beating up gays and lesbians is sport. Hate to break it to all you stereotype-loving gays, but they'd have to get past most of US first.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Most estimates I hear put it at about 4-5%. Reality is that the exact percentage may never be known since many people will not respond truthfully to this question for fear of backlash, social stigma, etc.

But don't you see none of that matters! It does not matter if it is 2% or 10% or any other number! Last time I checked the Constitution does NOT say you are only entitled to Equal Rights if you are part of group making up some minimum percentage of the population.

EVERYONE is entitled to Equal Rights. If there was only one single gay person in this country, that person is still entitled to Equal Rights.

For you to suggest otherwise goes against everything this country is supposed to stand for!

Conservatives are NOT "gay bashers"!!
In fact the NRA supports an organization called the "Pink Pistols". A few years ago in San Fran some gays started keeping guns at home in response to kick-in assaults which often turned into REAL gay bashing. I'm talking Louisville Sluggers here.

San Fran only has FIVE legal carry permits and one is held by Diane Frankenstein. Home possession is different but we were concerned about untrained people causing more problems than they solved.

The result was that NRA safety instructors donated their time to teach not only gun safety but RESPONSIBLE gun ownership to San Fran gays and their partners. The result was that they LIKED the shooting so much they formed a shooting league and took it national.

We are a single issue group. We have more minorities and women in the NRA than you'd EVER imagine. Protection of the 2nd Amendment, gun safety and effective self defense are our ONLY concerns. We only became political about 1968 when opportunistic pols used the JFK, MLK and RFK murders to ram through the Gun Control Act of 1968 which has YET to prevent a crime.

Where, oh where did that list come from?
Robert, in your post you questioned where that list of perversions is coming from. Because the bill doesn't specifically define sexual orientation, Giles and many religious leaders are perpetuating this unfounded idea that the term includes the American Psychiatric Association's entire list of sexual disorders.

The problem with that argument is that homosexuality has not been on the APA's list of "disorders" for the past 36 years. Sexual orientation, according to the APA, describes a continuum ranging from exclusive heterosexuality to exclusive homosexuality. People whose sexuality is not totally hetero constitute the only class of people protected here -- not pedophiles, necrophiles or any others whose sexual behavior is criminal.

It's just an outright lie to say the law would protect people who commit sex crimes.

THis really does show your ignorance on the topic of what we want. We want equal rights and desire marriage for the same reason as you or anyone else.

I am one of those exceptions you speak of. I have been with my husband for 7 1/2 years and married for over 4 years. We are in a 100% committed and monogamous relationship. And there are a WHOLE LOT more than us. In fact there are MANY who make us newlyweds, couples who have been together 10, 15, 20, even 30 or more years.

You don't know as much about us as you think you do.

You said: "I think the main trouble gays have with keeping sex in the bedroom is that we ignore them unless they bring it out into the open. Most of us could care less what goes on in a bedroom. It is also the reason they want to do away with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy in the military. They DO want to tell - and hopefully proposition all the others without anyone being able to do anything about it, including complain to an officer.

I've always been uncomfortable being propositioned - particularly by someone who is of the same sex and insists that I MUST go to bed with him to prove I'm not homophobic. That generally makes me homophobic right then. "

Why do folks like you always like to come back with this one?!? Fighting for our RIGHT to marriage has got NOTHING to do with what we do in our bedrooms!! Your side is always the ones that bring sex into the equation. Every time we have a discussion about marriage rights, all your side can do is bring up sex and how disgusting you think it is.

For the last time, the right to marry the person of one’s choice is NOT about the sex.

And then your last sentence. Excuse me, when is the last time someone tried to demand you go to bed with them? Being homophobic refers to people who are so frightened by us that they will stop at nothing to make sure we don’t have Equal Rights.

And don’t even get me started on DADT. Suffice it to say that homosexuals are already serving and putting their LIVES on the line to protect our country. The least they deserve is not being saddled with LYING to everyone around them and the second they let something slip they can be kicked out!! At least TWENTY NATO member countries allow gays to serve openly and most of our younger troops also support it. Are we not capable of doing what all these other countries have done? You don’t give our military service members enough credit.

The First amendment is dead."

You know I agreed with your statement about Affirmative action going too far. In my opinion it does in fact go too far many times and results in 'reverse discrimination'.

However, your final remark (quoted above) is so far off base it hardly deserves comment. Let me ask you something, have you actually READ the bill?

It adds to the bill ALREADY covering religion and has very EXPLICT statements regarding 1st Amendment protections and such.

Did you just take Giles word for it? The wording of this bill proves conclusively that Giles is a liar!

Robert #263 and 277
In 263 you said: "I've decided that the way I was born is immutable, and therefore good. I am a born Viking. I am preparing some sharp stakes in front of my house where I plan to display the heads of liberals in our town. After all, I've renamed "insane murder"-- now it's "vigorous free self expression."

Do you think before you speak? I know you are trying to be sarcastic but you are also using your childish logic to suggest that us fighting for equal marriage rights is on the same level as what you just said. No offense, but that is pretty idiotic. You example violates the rights of others, ours does not!

In 277 you said: "The bill itself will not. The court cases that will be brought by proponents of other nontraditional marriage constellations will. We have a major polygamy problem in our state, and their lawyers are already planning to use any state decision in favor of gay marriage to legalize polygamy. It will be hard to argue against any consensual arrangements if the basic meaning of marriage is destroyed by redefining the word beyond recognition. "

All laws surrounding marriage are built on the concept of TWO consenting adults. In order for polygamy to be supported, laws would have to be re-written wholesale to accommodate it. NOT so with marriage for same sex couples.

Polygamy has NOTHING to do with this fight. You cannot deny us our rights because you think polygamists might start their own struggle. That is a discussion for another day and has got NOTHING to do with us.

I Think...
I think that all right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary decent people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not and I'm tired and tied of being told that I am.

Good luck Chuck!!

Yes and No, Dave
"The bill will not add protections for ANY others than homosexuals." The bill itself will not.

To gayle
If a townhall poster advocated the murder of homosexuals two years ago, what evidence can you find that he has had a change of heart? From reading the hundreds of posts to townhall that want us all to live strictly and literally according to the words of an 18th Century document, I would assume that you-all find opinion to be timeless.

Regarding Christian ministers who behave immorally, the issue (which you fail to acknowledge or perhaps fail to recognize) is hypocrisy.

Re "get a life": thank you for the suggestion, but I already have one. It is made ever more interesting by getting to know the denizens of townhall.com.

Another question
If I was a married man and a dad and some whackjob tried to have sex with my young son or daughter would I be guilty of a hate crime if I shot said sexual predator dead with my Ruger P90? Doug by the way I really like your daughter. Not because of her looks but because she has your writing style. She is absolutely brilliant. I would marry her if I were a millionaire and about 20 years younger than I am. Your daughter should get married when she finds a guy who is like me but with a lot of financial wealth and much younger than me. That kind of guy would be the ideal man.

I've always been uncomfortable being propositioned - particularly by someone who is of the same sex and insists that I MUST go to bed with him to prove I'm not homophobic. That generally makes me homophobic right then.

Dave
If it is lies, then why does Congress refuse to allow other exemptions? And if it is only gays, as you say, why does the polygamic population use the same arguments and claim the same protection under the same laws?

I know you have your own little world out that, but you should at least look around at the rest of the world once in awhile.

Question:
If you reported a case of pedophilia to the police, would that make you guilty of the hate crime for hurting his feelings?

lies, lies, lies
I never cease to be disgusted by pseudo-christians who spend their live spreading lies about others. The bill will not add protections for ANY others than homosexuals. Problem is you can't fight it with facts so you fight it with lies. You are so angry because someone questions your right to verbally and physically attack those who don't fall into your category of OK. You try and chalk it up to God, sorry Charlie, don't blame Him, your crap attitude isn't His idea. If you want to argue there's no need for a hate crimes law these days I might agree, as long as you remove ALL hate crimes protections. Oh wait, then you'd have to give up yours. You ain't no pastor Giles, you're just one more ego driven loud mouth leading his groupies to hell.

Keith Opines
"Giles- your an idiot" That's "you're an idiot." Simple possessives are usually mastered by the third grade. "Yes, some sexual behavior is weird- but what people do in their own home is frankly, none of your damn business." Absolutely correct, Keith, but when they make a public display of it, insist on our approval, create abominations like Gay Pride Month and Harvey Milk Day, and want to change the definition of marriage, it becomes our business. How about Sado-machism Pride Day (Motto- Give 'till it hurts), Polygamy Month (Our Love Is Big Love), and Bestiality Week (loving our animal brothers where PETA leaves off)?

Sorry, Keith-- you make it our business when you demand that society not only tolerates, but approves and celebrates perversity.

Unintended consequences . . .
are quite often the result of "laws" passed with good intentions.
One example of this is the "affirmative action" laws that were passed. Originally, this concept was put in place to "help" those who had been "shut out" of higher education and employment opportunities due to RACE alone. "Affirmative action" has degenerated into a "gimme mine" "entitlement" system that STILL shuts out QUALIFIED minorities. oprah winfrey's child would have a better chance at using "affirmative action" than some truly deserving white kid.
Another example is that of the RICO and "money laundering" statutes. Honest people traveling with large sums of (legal tender) money have been threatened with arrest and imprisonment merely for carrying large sums of cash.
If this "hate crimes" bill passes, it will be used to protect pedophiles, bestiality and other perversions FROM VALID CRITICISM.
The First amendment is dead.

Giles -your an idiot
I attempted to read this article- but you came out of the gate basically calling anyone who doesnt have sex in the missionary position for reasons of procreation only a freak.

Yes, some sexual behavior is weird- but what people do in their own home is frankly, none of your damn business.

If you are the advocate for any form of christianity- good riddence, and i hope you get pushed to the side and forgotten.

Either A- learn to write with less hate - and ill actually read your writting or B- get off your high horse and go f**k yourself.

anderson659
I thank you, my forefathers thank you, and Odin thanks you.

Robert, on Viking activity
Vikingism is protected by the 14th, 1st, and guaranteed by the 2nd amendment. Your stakes however must union produced, and you must NOT discriminate on any vigorous self expression according to race, color, or creed.

Go forth and impale. The ACLU shall defend you, and no one shall take away your right.

cambermeister
I must have been born that way, considering the visceral and deep rooted disgust I feel for homosexual behavior. Because of this, I deserve to have my homophobia protected by law-- and my Viking-ness.

Robert of Arizona?
Were you born homophobic?
Should there be special laws to protect the homophobics?
Should the schools in Arizona teach the children about homophobics and their lifestyle?

Channeling My Inner Viking
I've decided that the way I was born is immutable, and therefore good. I am a born Viking. I am preparing some sharp stakes in front of my house where I plan to display the heads of liberals in our town. After all, I've renamed "insane murder"-- now it's "vigorous free self expression."

Robert of AZ,
I've decided that
a Bird is a Bat,
and a Dog is a Cat,
don't make fun,
nothings wrong with that.

LoveIsEqual you stated:
"The courts have long recognized marriage as an intrinsic right as it relates to the pursuit of happiness."

Yes, that is correct. A man and woman making a commitment to each other is considered a 'right'. I have a 'til death do us part' commitment to my dogs. We're not married, are we? What is the definition of marriage? I love my dogs. I love canary island date palms.

LIE
" Why are you allowed the pursuit of happiness and not homosexuals?" Why not polygamy, incest, or other perversions of normal sexuality? When you change the very definition of a word, it isn't a right any more. It's a lie.

Reading Constitutions?
Is any practice that is Not Constitutionally prohibited a 'fundamental right'?

California teachers say that gay marriage is a 'fundamental right'.

California ranks near the bottom in reading comprehension. Any correlation?

Cambermeister & Robert
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Why are you allowed the pursuit of happiness and not homosexuals?

The courts have long recognized marriage as an intrinsic right as it relates to the pursuit of happiness.

Cambermeister you said: "Supporting Prop 8 had nothing to do with 'bigotry' LoveIsEqual."

It had everything to do with bigotry and a fundamental right was taken away.

You also said: "How many drugs must I consume to believe that James Madison wanted the man/man ripping of excrimentory orifices to be celebrated?"

Marriage is not about how two people in love have sex Cambermeister. By your statement should we then not allow an opposite sex couple to get married because they plan to have anal sex? Getting a marriage license does NOT allow the law to enquire about the sex practices of the couple involved. Marriage is about a lifelong commitment to another consenting adult, NOT about the sex they have in the privacy of their bedroom.

For any other responses you'll have to wait until tonight. I'm heading off to work now.

LustEquals
Certainly the homosexual activists have achieved a great deal of success in their campaigns to destroy family values, split some Christian churches, and contribute to the further erosion of standards of decency. With the full support of Hollywood and MSM, they have steadily worked to destroy much of the conventional values that served America for so many, many years.

That is what this article is about. That is what Anderson is conveying in his comments. He is advising us to wake up! There is absolutely no bottom to the depths of depravity to which you demented souls will sink to. My God, can you imagine living, fighting and dying for a country that espouses such a twisted way of live as the norm.

Hopefully, the pendulum will begin to swing the other way sooner than later. Young impressionable minds, so eager to adopt the pc mindset, so vulnerable to Hollywood propaganda will eventually mature, have families, and finally come to their senses. Mothers and fathers with children are not quite as likely to support your demented causes.

You have to realize that there are millions and millions of Americans that have absolutely no idea of how depraved some of you perverts truly are. Even I have to admit that I was shocked to hear some of these accounts of you perverts in action. Like a nightmare straight out of "The Exorcist" movie. No, even worse.

Wake up America. Stop this legislation now!

LIE
Give some specific examples of that fine line.

The dissection of a paragraph:
"Prop 8 does violate the 14th amendment"

Please post this part of the 14th. I can't find the homosexuality segment. Do you have a special copy LoveIsEqual?

"I thought Californians would not let pure bigotry like this come to pass."

Supporting Prop 8 had nothing to do with 'bigotry' LoveIsEqual.

"the fact that Prop 8 is unconstitutional."

How many drugs must I consume to believe that James Madison wanted the man/man ripping of excrimentory orifices to be celebrated?

"fundamental rights"

Yeh, I re-read the document. It states: 'Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Gay Marriage'. Where do you people find this stuff?

Robert #253
One of the inherent rights which is intrinsic to marriage is the right to 'choose' your life partner. When the laws state that we can marry someone of the opposite sex like everyone else, it completely fails to take this into account. It is NOT our choice to marry someone of the opposite sex therefore it is NOT an equal right.

Or would you agree with arranged marriages?

It surprises me to no end that so many encourage loveless marriages and make no mistake about it, that is what it is. Most of us cannot love someone of the opposite sex in this way.

LIE
"You've proven nothing except that you are desperate to hold onto anything you can to prevent gays having any rights." Any rights? They have the rights of any American citizen. I supported the removal of criminal sanctions against homosexual behavior. That does not mean I think it's morally neutral

What they do not have is the 'right' to change the aeons old historical definition of marriage.

Cambermeister #249/250
First I'm going to answer #249 one LAST time. I have already answered this on the other thread and I tire of you asking over and over again. The answer is NO, now can you please drop it?

As for #250, what I mean is simple. For too long now religious influence has been unduly influencing the laws in this country which disfavor others who do not share those religious beliefs. And I'm not just talking about gay rights issues here, but in general as well.

Sure the US is not a true theocracy like Iran or something but in many ways there has been far too much religious influence. The separation of church and state is there for a reason and don't kid yourself. When laws are passed that favor Christians for example that IS a STATE sponsored religion which is NOT Constitutional. Other religions don't always agree so one is being favored over another.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Christians should not vote their conscience. Everyone has the right to vote based on their beliefs but there is a fine line which should not be crossed when it comes to passing laws or determning Constitutional rights in this country, and that line is crossed far too often.

It's Democrats, liberals and leftists...
. . .who are now running D.C.

Morally anchorless, they do seem, given their banner carrier Obama, to support anything, unless it is Christianity and the family.

What?
"your days of near theocratic rule are coming to an end"
LoveIsEqual, what does this mean?

LoveIsEqual?

Yes or no please. Do you believe the practice of separate but equal barracks for male and female enlisted Marines should be terminated?

Robert #245
In what way did I made any statement referring to how many or which states still had laws against interracial marriage? That was not the point, sure some allowed it but many also did not. Now ALL states have interracial marriage so it does not change my point.

The point is that for states which did have laws against interracial marriage, it was Unconstitutional.

Anderson - Part III
You are such a child anderson. I'm not outside society anderson, I am a part of society just like you or anyone else. And I am fighting for equal rights.

You keep posting about ex-gays anderson like you have proven anything. Over all a very small percentage have changed and in most cases they are prompted to change because of pressure from family, society and other factors. Even most of the ex-gay ministries admit that in most cases they can only encourage celibacy, not really change someone from homosexual to heterosexual. And you always leave out the fact that many of the ones who supposedly 'changed' have been caught in the act so to speak at gay bars, etc.

For most of us, homosexuality is just as immutable as race. Tell me something Anderson, could you wake up one day and make a ‘choice’ to be gay?

You've proven nothing except that you are desperate to hold onto anything you can to prevent gays having any rights.

Over the last several decades one thing should be clear to even you anderson. The percentage of people who believe in equal rights for homosexuals and marriage equality in particular have been increasing. I know you are going to point out all the states who have anti-gay amendments to their constitution. Fine, but I never said the side who agrees with equal rights for gays are in the majority, YET.

But the trend is clear and it is heading in that direction! There are two reasons for this: 1) Younger people by far and large don’t share the bigotry of many of their elders. And 2) Even a significant number of the older people are moving toward equality, albeit at a slower pace than the young.

As far as your constant posting about various gay fairs and such, again another childish tactic on your part, with not even an acknowledgment that heterosexuals participate in just as despicable acts at events like Mardi Gras.

Wow
Those Liberals are crazy. They won't let you assault anybody. If you are a good Christian sadist looking for someone to abuse, those liberals will take away all your fun. How unfair.

where, LIE?
""For a very long time interracial marriage was not legal either. But we all accept that it was never Constitutional to ban it but it took time for the courts and society to reach this point."

Some places interracial marriage was illegal, and some places not. For example, Fredric Douglass was married to a white woman in New York at the time of the Civil War. One senator in the 1830's had a recognized common law marriage with a black woman, as did a U.S. representative of the 1850's. My own great great grandfather married an Indian in Pennsylvania in 1858.

General statements about such and such being illegal abound in arguments, but they never recognize that the States had different laws, and that what was legal one place was illegal elsewhere. For example, in my native county, schools were integrated since there were public schools, and the state I spent most of my life in had never segregated anything.

I am old enough to remember legal segregation and de facto segregation. I am also old enough to remember that it didn't exist in most of the United States when the civil rights bills were passed.

LIB lawmakers etc
Its really simple..
Honosexuality?..the "parts" don't fit
If you still like to do that? fine...
If you my my ok and approval and the rest of SANE society'S APPROVAL ?
NEVER

I'm waiting for
the Jesse Derkheissen Hate Crimes Prevention Bill.

anderson659 please be careful

Please be careful about the graphic nature of your posts. You are probably arousing some of the perverts posting on this site. God knows they don't need anymore ideas on how to satisfy their depravity. Thank you in advance for your consideration.:)

Bradley Brainard, a LIE friend
Another sexual masterpiece at work:

Brainard had filmed himself giving a dog a bloow-job while he masturbated. But wait! There’s more! In another scene, Brainard was seen lying on a bed, nekkid, except for a bra, forcing a chocolate Lab to penetrate him. Brainard, obvious stud that he is, couldn’t remain faithful to just one…investigators said “there were other canines in the video that Brainard sexually engaged.” Stay with me now, there’s even more! He had videotaped a child’s genitals during a diaper change, and had footage of a teenage boy wearing a pair of high heels.…is there no end? No limit to this dude’s depravity? Also found in the home were women’s undergarments, several boxes of videotapes, a bondage whip, wigs, sex toys, pornographic DVDs and videotapes with bestiality.

In an interview from his home last week, Brainard said that ‘he no longer participates in sexual relations with dogs"

How about kids?

Coming to YOUR town in the near fiture. And according to LIE wearing wedding rings.

hurt feelings

John

Of course it isn't nice - there are just times in life when you have to give into temptation.
I hardly ever say anything like that but you are so obnoxious, I just couldn't resist. Your like the rest of your sheeple - you have to hit them on the head to get their attention from their own egos.

The LIE chronicles
Hey LIE, you post this nonsense:

"For a very long time interracial marriage was not legal either. But we all accept that it was never Constitutional to ban it but it took time for the courts and society to reach this point."

LIE, homosexuality is not innate or immutable. Allow me to explain in YOUR context. Interracial marriage was about two people who could not change their race.

Do you know any former Blacks? Whites? Hispanics? Asians? No, I thought not. And you are not alone. Neither does any one else.

However, there are THOUSANDS of former homosexuals. Hmmm, that means you can not change race, but YOU CAN change sexual orientation. Many names exist of those who have changed.. No "gay" gene exists, even by YOUR same sex activist researchers. In fact homosexuality may be prevented in the future when science understands how to control it.

Your comparison to interracial marriage therefore is so outlandish as to be juvenile.

Nothing more than a same sex activist talking point. No facts, just garbage.

In fact your whole post is garbage. Just the ussual dyed in the wool radical gibberish.

Why are YOU such a radical, and an extremist LIE? Dont you know how outside the parameters of society you are?

OK
When Barney Frank pulls a Swaggart, I will be happy.

More pervert b.s.

An Obama attack hound states: "I googled televangelist scandals because I wasn't sure of the spelling of Jimmy Swaggart's name, and guess what I found...a BIG LONG LIST of CHRISTIAN MINISTERS who were also SEX FREAKS."

I vaguely recall reading of these scandals of supposedly Christian ministers (my opinion religious hustlers). If memory serves me correct the Church's response was to urge their members to pray for these transgressors, recognizing that we are all sinners, and encouraging them to seek Christian counseling. Wow, what hateful, intolerant responses.

Now, if as you homosexual activist claim, we probably could have expected the Church to officially call for a public stoning, at least that is what you fantasize. But, actually the response was one of tolerance and forgiveness, but of course, homosexual activists can't be bothered with the truth surrounding such events.

You homosexual activists would rather climb a tree to tell a lie, than stand on solid ground and state the truth.

Pat:
I like how a Christian like you enjoys hurt in others. Very Christlike of you. Your sky daddy has noted that sin of yours in his Big Book of Pat's Bad Deeds and will judge you once you check out of this world.
Keep up the superb work, Pat, your godling will love you for that.

Brought to the table
JOHN

I said "brought to the table - via the bible.

We all know about the myths, etc that are supposed to be the origin of Christianity.

In reference to the classicall myths, St. Augustine said they were "prophetic". God works in mysterious ways.

Does that accpetance hurt your feelings? I hope so

Anderson - Part II
You just keep right on believing that Prop 8 is the end of the battle. It is only the beginning anderson!

History has proved time and again that Equal Rights ALWAYS wins the day, it is just of a question of when NOT if.

The younger generation by far and large does not have the bigotry of their elders. Just what do you think is going to happen as they start to enter the work force and have more voting power?

No, your days of near theocratic rule are coming to an end anderson. Not a question of IF but only WHEN.

Anderson Part I
You said: Comment: "How utterly stupid. Are you above the law??? Oh, thats right, you do not obey ANY law unless you approve, right LIE? Laws are made from morality, derived from the word of God in this country. Move somewehere else in the world that does not have the words of God as a baseline. If you can find one.

From WHO do you draw YOUR morality baseline from? The altar of the anus?"

Actually I draw it from the Constitution whereas you draw it from the Bible which is NOT the ruling document in this country! What about the separation of church and state do you not understand anderson? You do not have the right to force your religious beliefs on anyone else! IF you want a theocracy so bad, then perhaps it is you who should move. Iran probably sounds just great to you, eh anderson? You would love it there, where the fuc**ing animals put homosexuals to death.

Then in # 235 you said: "LIE stated on past threads how proposition 8 violated numerous laws, and especially the 14th amendment among others. "

That has not changed anderson. Prop 8 does violate the 14th amendment but I never stated it could not pass, but rather that I thought Californians would not let pure bigotry like this come to pass. On that part I was wrong, it does not however change the fact that Prop 8 is unconstitutional. CA like many states makes it way too easy to amend the Constitution, even to the point of taking away fundamental rights. The Supreme Court upheld it because of the threats of recall from your side if they did the right thing.

For a very long time interracial marriage was not legal either. But we all accept that it was never Constitutional to ban it but it took time for the courts and society to reach this point.

Anderson:
Dude, don't you see that your comments are too long and nobody reads that junk?
Learn the meaning of the phrase tl;dr.

TX Pat:
10 commandments are Judeo-Christian in origin? Hahahahaha..... Poor poor undereducated Pat! Please go look up the Stele of Hammurabi to find just where did the "Judeo-Christians" find their commandments. Sure as hell wasn't on Sinai, hahahaha!

Love Is equal= demented Logic
LIE stated on past threads how proposition 8 violated numerous laws, and especially the 14th amendment among others. Here is how LIE and ilk made out in court a couple days ago. They lost because they are NOT only wrong, they made it up:

Despite their assertions to the contrary Federal courts have upheld the implementation of proposition 8. LIE said it could not happen.Well, read it LIE, etc.:
