Young gun owners and hunters. Yeah, you. If you vote for Obama then you will have crapped on your future second amendment rights and the sport you supposedly love.

Welcome to reality, young squab, may I take your coat?

Yep, Dufus, if Barack becomes dictator—I mean president—and you begin to see your right to bear arms erode like Bill Clinton’s conscience at Hooters and you commence to spot the sport of hunting disappearing like a massive bag of Cheetos in front of a rather peckish Rosie O’Donnell, I sure as heck don’t want to hear any of you Obama backing wussies whine about it. Why? Well, you asked for it, and now you got it. You’re the one who, in spite of sick evidence against Barack, decided to vote for the most anti-gun candidate in US history just because he’s “young, cool and can play basketball.”

For those undecided gun lovers who can read and still reason, here’s the reality of the Obama/Biden ticket when it comes to hunting and your right to lock and load.

Are you ready for some truth? You are? Are you sure? Okay then . . . sit down, let your head clear from that last hit of Obama propaganda ganja you just inhaled, turn off MSNBC, log off the DailyKos, put down the Audacity of Hope and give me, my young gun owning/hunting friend just two minutes of your attention and check out this list from gunbanobama.com . . .

• Reality. Obama voted to allow the prosecution of people who use a firearm for self-defense in their frickin’ homes. (Illinois Senate, S.B. 2165, vote 20. 3/25/04)

• Reality. Obama supported increasing taxes on firearms and ammunition by 500%. That means the $500 Ruger you want to buy that currently has an excise tax of $55 would skyrocket to $330 tax. (Chicago Defender, 12/13/99). But that shouldn’t bug you, Obama backers, because you’re all about “spreading the wealth,” aren’t you?

• Reality. Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry. (United States Senate, S. 397, vote 219, 7/29/05).

• Reality. Obama wants to reimpose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban. (Illinois State Debate #3: Barack Obama vs. Alan Keyes, 10/21/04).

• Reality. Obama endorsed a ban on all handguns. (Independent voters of Illinois/Independent precinct organization general candidate questionnaire, 9/9/96; Politico, 3/31/08).

• Reality. Obama opposes the Right to Carry laws. (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, 4/02/08; Chicago Tribune, 9/15/04).

• Reality. Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting. (United States Senate, S.397, 7/29/05).

• Reality. Obama supports gun owner licensing and gun registration. (“Fact Check: No News In Obama’s Consistent Record.” Obama campaign website, 12/11/07).

• Reality. Obama voted to limit gun purchases to one per month. (Illinois state senate, H.B. 2579, vote 34, 5/16/03).

• Reality. Obama opposes four of the five Supreme Court justices who affirmed an individual right to keep and bear arms. He voted against the confirmation of Alito and Roberts and has stated he would not have appointed Thomas or Scalia. (United States Senate vote 245, 9/29/2005 and vote 2, 1/31/2006 and Saddleback Forum, 8/16/2008).

• Reality. Obama voted for an Illinois State Senate bill to ban and confiscate “assault weapons,” but the bill was so poorly crafted, it would have also banned most semi-auto and single and double barrel shotguns commonly used by sportsmen. (Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee, 3/13/2003).

• Reality. Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership. (Independent Voters of Illinois/Independent Precinct Organization general candidate questionnaire, 9/9/1996. The responses on this survey were described in “Obama had greater role on liberal survey,” Politico, 3/31/2008).

I know what some of you are thinking: Garsh Doug, Obama said he would “let us” keep our guns, and he doesn’t have a problem with hunting. Yes, I know that Barack said that, Dinky. He also said that Ayers is just a dude from his neighborhood, he didn’t know Rev. Wright was a freak, Iran is a little non-threatening nation, “spreading the wealth” is not socialism and Michelle Obama really is nice and loves America.

Hello!

Having said that, I do believe Obama when he says he will “let us” keep our guns if he becomes President. He will allow us to keep them in the gentle recesses of our long term memory—but not in our gun cabinets.

So . . . young dude . . . before you do something goofy on November 4th by voting for Obama, please, my young gun and hunting fan, please go to Starbucks, order a double espresso and wake the hell up and vote for your Glock.

Civilian - Would MOT include military or other Law Enforcement agencies.
National - Would NOT recognize State Boundaries.
Security - Security for what?
Force - This word usually denotes power and authority.

Why does Barack Obama want a Civilian Security Force?
1) Just as powerful as the Military.
2) Just as strong as the Military.
3) Just as well funded as the Military.

What will Barack Obama have this 'Civilian National Security Force' do?

Help in hurricanes or other disasters? - we already have the state National guard.

Some have said 'The National Guard is in Iraq and Afghanistan' but Barack Obama plans to have them home less than halfway through the Obama administration.

Will people Like Joe the Plumber start disappearing?

BETTER HURRY BEFORE OBAMA BANS IT!
The tax cut hoax for 95% of people Obama speaks about who will receive $500 annually from American workers money is Obama bogus, doubletalk! FOURTY (40%) PERCENT of these people do NOT work! A non-worker gets "welfare bonus check."

Obama will raise: the top two individual income tax rates by 25%; Phase out personal exemptions and all itemized deductions; the capital gains tax rate by 33%; the tax rate on dividends by 33%; the top payroll tax rate from 16% to 32%; a new payroll tax on employers of 7%; reinstate the death tax rate of 45%; the corporate tax burden by another 25%.

Incentives are turned against savings, investment, entrepreneurship, business expansion, job creation, work, and economic growth. With higher marginal tax rates, the reward for these pro-growth economic activities is reduced, and so these activities decline.

Obama’s tax plan is exactly the opposite of the supply side economics that Reagan adopted, which produced the astounding 25 year boom of the 1980s. When Obama adds his $trillion in entitlements we will be staring at a deep depression.

Obama’s tax plan specifies that this tax cut is a $500 per worker income tax credit for workers making up to $75,000 per year, and for families making up to $150,000. Such a tax credit is a welfare check.

Obama wants tax credits for child care, education, housing, retirement, health care, welfare, and other giveaways with checks from the federal government for these purposes.
Consequently, they are not tax cuts. They are new federal spending programs hidden in the tax code.

This is why I call it The New Tax Welfare. These new tax welfare programs alone would cost an additional $1.3 trillion over 10 years. by Peter Ferrara

the answer to your question is obvious. BROWNSHIRTS. it will require a large force to arrest and incarcerate those of us who insist on keeping our arms, as provided for in the bill of rights. but after they get rid of the gun owners, then there will be the heterosexuals, those who do not abort their children, those who believe in equal protection under the law, those who wish to freely practice their religion, those who prefer to work, those who oppose illegal immigration, and those who do not face mecca to pray 5 times per day, to say nothing of women who refuse to wear the burka. after all, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws and the government will have guns, and i really don't see any difference (between an obama government and outlaws, that is). see you in the trenches.

McCain was not my choice but he is head and shoulders above Obama. I can easily understand the reason blacks vote for Obama. He is black and one of them. But why any other sane person would do so is idiotic. He is pro unborn murder and cannot possibly be a true Christian as he claims. Others have posted all his defects and warts for all to hear if they will do so. It seems they are not hearing and yet cannot cite one reason to vote for Obama. Or one thing he has done for America. All I can deduct is that these people are people of below average intelligence or those who love liars as Christ denotes in our Bible. your clock and then rest up from all the time and energy you waste on all of these TH threads.

It's good to start hearing from the gun people. The NRA is 4-5 million, Catholics are 75 million, and evangelicals are 50 million, and I would think a prescription for a cons. win.

Blacks are only 12% of the population and cannot win an election on their own. In the last election, the 18-34 *youth vote* was only 7% of the electorate.

So, get out and vote and get everyone else out to vote.

Vote McCain/Palin and avoid the spectacle of the Big O cowering in the Oval Office when Iran test him by bombing Israel.

You CAN'T defend yourself against the charge of "racist", because this is yet another word in our lexicon that the Democrats/liberals have made a very plastic one.

Years ago at my former employer in L.A. County, a former co-worker of mine, an ultraliberal, privately admitted to me that the word "racist" had become such a catch-all for things that clearly should never have been encompassed in its reach that it had become about the most meaningless word in the English language. Think he'd dare say that to any black people he knew, however? Don't bet on it.

Hopefully, on Wednesday morning, Obama and the Democratic Party will discover that America is a much more "racist" nation than they'd realized.

Keep 'em coming. If Obama manages to keep the economy afloat for a little while, I might actually get that one printed up. In my neighborhood it costs a minimum of $200 to get the minimum number of bumper stickers made.

My rights?
Just because some of the people want uzis for sale doesn't mean it should be so. It might just be that the majority of the people don't want them on the streets, there is no other function for an uzi other than killing humans on a large scale. It is not a practical weapon for hunting, or any other sport that I know of. Some how the NRA and their members think people should be able to walk into a store and as long as you have some form of ID like a driver's license, which even kids can get a fake one to go to a bar, buy any gun and leave. Still to this day you can go to a gun show and do just that, it is ridiculous. Maybe if someone in your immediate family was senselessly killed by some teenager spraying his uzi to show how bad he is to his crew you might think again about getting these guns off the streets. The number of people are killed by guns in the United States is from 5 to 6 times higher than Europe, and 95 times higher than in Asia. Of course the NRA likes to say that is only because we have many more guns than they do, so they use other means. Which is absurd, of course if someone is planning a murder they will find a way, but murder is mostly an impulse crime, there was a study done at Florida State University on Capital Punishment, Homicide and Gun Ownership that proved this. They also proved that people who own guns have a much higher rate of committing a homicide than people who don't, which debunks the theory of the NRA which has always used the theory that people will just find another weapon to commit the murder, the data shows just the opposite. Which unless you are a NRA member and predisposed to believe whatever the NRA tells you, you would logically think would be the facts. If that is what you want for a society that is fine, just don't go around stating that having guns around doesn't increase the murder rate, because it does by huge amounts, and there is data to prove it.

Criminals
The only people I can think of that should not want people to have to register guns and have a license is criminals. You have to have a license to drive, hunt, fish, etc., and these are tools that can easily kill someone, I would think we would want to make sure some lunatic isn't buying a bunch of guns and ammo to walk into a McDonalds and whack everyone in sight.
How can waiting a lousy three days to have a background check been such an incovience when it will save at least one person's life, if not hundreds. Most people that I know who have guns for protection and to shoot at the range are not against any of those things. I can see the gun dealers because it will hurt their sales, yes the people who won't pass the background test and shouldn't be having access to a gun. In 1976 I got robbed by two guys in a home invasion, after getting what they wanted they decided to kill me so there was no witness. Luckily for me the gun would not fire, so he took it and knocked my eye out with the butt of the gun. They wore ski masks, were never caught, but I am sure his gun was just some Saturday night special he got off the street, he may have never even fired it, or it just malfunctioned that time.

I resent being liable to arrest for crossing into Md from va because I have a CCW permit and they won't recognize it, nor will the other states I have to cross to get to visit my kids in NJ, another state run by morons.

Learn how to use other types of weapons that aren't made of metal. Learn personal self-defense tactics - join a gym and a MMA-type class, or train at home. Invest in home security. Join the NRA.

And participate in your government.

How many of us do anything but complain? Or we sign internet petitions: know what petitions do? Nothing. "A armed individual is a citizen and unarmed individual is a subject". I was asked about the second amendment by a pudgy, soft democrat at work and it was clear she was against people having guns. I asked her, so you only want the goverment and the criminals to have the guns? She said oh, I never thought about it that way. The police are for clean up duty only. When the crime is happening it is only you and the bad guy. I agree with Jim, Get in shape, learn self defense and learn how to shoot a gun and be prepared. Those of us you are in good shape, are truly independent and self reliant will survive no matter what. It is the ones that are dependent on goverment to take care of them that have grown fat and lazy that will not.

The only purpose of gun registration
is confiscation. It also warns the government (jack-booted thugs) which houses they need to use no-knock entry.

Private gun ownership makes everyone safer in this country because the criminals don't know which houses are armed.

My wife and I recently went to the County Sherriff’s department to apply for our concealed pistol licenses and while we were there (about an hour), around 25 others were came in for the same purpose, to get their CPL’s.

Apparently many a good folk are preparing for something might not be too pleasing. Might that thing be an Obama presidency? (For those who would cry racism, the people who came in were quite a diversified group)

Last thought: if Obama is so against firearm ownership and the right to carry, does he require his security team to go unarmed? If not, why not?

Please tell me exactly what weapons do you think is not "warlike." Every weapon in existence has been used in one war or another throughout history. Do you propose that we confiscate every gun because guns have been used in combat? How about archery sets (used in war for thousands of years)? Swords (used in war for thousands of years)? Many civilizations developed excellent hand to hand combat systems that make the unarmed man deadly; should we cut off martial artists arms? I can see it now, a gang is getting together to rob, assault and murder some poor souls when one says,
"Hey man, we need to get some guns to hurt these people with."

(Obama/Biden) in 68 years that doesn't have at least one candidate with a military background. If these clowns are elected, while they are busy taking away private gun ownership, at the same time they will be dis-mantling our military. It will all be intentional.

If they are elected, we will have 63 days before the Communist is sworn in. Our family will be buying as much ammo and re-loading supplies that we can store (which is a lot).

Please remember the following sequence. If you think you'll have a senior moment, write it down. This does not just apply to young voters, it applies to ALL Americans.

You reloaders, learn about paper patching!! You can load wheelweight alloy projectiles up to 2,000+ feet per second. The paper patch separates the bullet from the rifling while giving unequaled accuracy.

Just look at the famous Creedmore shooting matches in the late 19th century where American shooters with their Sharps buffalo guns shot the pants off the best UK shooters including the famed Irish shooting team!!

That was at a measured 1,000 yards my friends. The paper patch is shredded and spins away into fibers three feet from the muzzle. NO rifling marks for ballisticians to match up. Lots of downrange energy in .40 caliber and the aforementioned hyperaccuracy.

As a gun owner I am voting Obama as are all the other gun owners that I know. Why? The only way to get rid of the 2nd amendment is to amend the constitution itself - which would never pass. We are safe there. We are voting Obama because we want competency in the White House again. Bush has destroyed America's leadership in the world and McCain would continue the same incompetent policies. McCain has shown he will never be ready by the way he ran his campaign and the selection of his advisers and VP. I may not agree with all of Obama's positions but he has at least shown the skills of a leader.

You are of course correct, our Second Amendment rights are part of the Bill of Rights and as such are sacred. Just as are our First Amendment Rights and nobody has ever trampled those either. Of course if you say something that someone else can take as racist or sexist, or homophobic you can be accused of a "hate crime" but none of our Constitutional rights are in danger. The left has repeatedly attacked the civil rights of Americans all the while claiming that they are the protectors of those rights.
In addition one need only look at the voting record and speeches given by the Democrats to conclude that it is a partisan issue. It has been the Democrats who have consistently attempted to take our right to bear arms away from us. They made it a partisan issue not us. No not all of the Democrats do this; there are good people in the Democratic party who do respect the Bill of Rights. Unfortunately those are not the people the Democrats chose to run for President.
I am kind of curious: what sort of gun(s) do you own? What is its/their make and model, muzzle velocity, caliber? How many cartridges does it hold? Is it a semi-auto, a full-auto, lever action, bolt action,revolver, single action, double action, all of the above, none of the above or just a load of BS? If you own any guns they must be connected to a video game.

If you folks want to see what's in store for the USA, pay attention to any news clips about Somalia. Obama's civil defense corps will look like the streets of Mogadishu, pickup trucks overflowing with inner city gangsters waving AK-47s and wearing berets. The Left knows how to circumvent petty annoyances like the US Constitution and US Supreme Court Decisions. Doing so is easy.

Conservatives can always be counted on to obey the law, even if doing so endangers them. They wouldn't dream of violating laws. Thus, they are always defeated.

Immediately after they're in office, the communists will reimpose the assault weapons ban, this time with the lessons they've learned since the last one expired. This time they won't screw around with technicalities like pistol grips, folding stocks and flash hiders. The entire weapons will be outlawed.

Then high capacity magazines will be outlawed, then military calibre ammunition, then all semi automatics.

Next will be a ban on carry permits, automatic handguns, guns with short barrels, guns over a certain caliber, and so on.

With each step a few will object, but fewer each time because with each step we'll see those who protested put on terrorist watch lists and their lives ruined. The communists will have the new and more powerful patriot act powers, the IRS and the Justice Department at their disposal. Remember what happened to poor Joe when Obama was merely a candidate.

So little by little we will be disarmed. Like childbirth, it can't and won't be stopped not matter how much we protest.

Anyone making a stand will be attacked and killed by the BATF. Kill one wolf and the sheep will scatter. The GOP will stand idly by, like they always do.

Then the real molding of the new American man can begin. New men are made so at the butt of a gun. That's what the communists don't tell you.

You guys actually know so little, so absofreakinlutely little, about the US government as it really operates that you fantasize that Obama can rule as a dictator, doing all that horrible stuff your fevered minds can imagine. Well, get that tinfoil wrapped around your heads, keep one ear open for the black (significant color, obviously) helicopters, and listen up.

If you are correct about what Obama will do, then you have one and only one patriotic, responsible option open to you: prepare yourselves to engage in armed rebellion against the government of this country until the tyrant Obama is brought down. Come on, you are being a bit dishonest in your assessment that we have no idea how government works. Communism and Socialism do not ever start the process. Democracy always starts it but then a few usually one side against the other decide they should have their beliefs injected into society even if those beliefs are not mainstream then we begin the transition into socialism. Democracy is used to defeat itself by irresponsible people making laws that counteract a decent society. Once socialism is totally in place there is no need for democracy anymore and it it will eliminated and the time until Communism is in place is short at best. Let's face it given a choice I doubt anyone choses a dictator over a democracy, although a few might chose dictator if they stand to benefit from being part of the dictator's inner circle.

He said he wants to build a Civilian Security Force in the debates, add that in to voting to prosecute you if you defend yourselves in your home.

Obama must disarm us before he can instill his communist agenda. His Civilian National Security Force is to control Americans -- you and I. At last people aren't pussyfooting around the true Obama issues.

Compare McCain's courage and character with Obama's lip and treachery.

Pay attention to what Obama is saying when he says "we will all come together." "I will end divisiveness and unite America." Yes, he will. In one grand communist society where within 4 years you better not speak up and disagree. This is it, guys and gals. If he wins, it's over. We will be "fellow travelers" before we know it, comrades. Just to be clear.

Obama wants to confer "Rights to Privacy" rights to Terrorist using Cell Phones overseas but is ok with denying 2nd Amendment rights to U.S. Citizens.

my guns. I've gone out and obtained my permit, stocked up and locked down. The right to bear arms is our last defense against tyranny, tyranny that is now knocking on our doors.

The only Presidential candidate who holds a concealed-carry permit is Libertarian Bob Barr, who says:
"I oppose any law requiring registration of, or restricting the ownership, manufacture, or transfer or sale of firearms or ammunition to law-abiding citizens."

Obama pledges "Economic Justice" even if he has to use the Supreme Court to impose it.

Cuba has "Economic Justice", many people are risking their lives to escape.

If anybody out there has not yet figured out that Obama is nothing but a warmed over Marxist, you have not been paying attention, or you just don't know any difference. I suggest that many of the illiterate who support Obama are in the latter category of ignorance of who and what Obama is and What it means to be a Marxist or Socialist.

Well, his lingo is all Marxist doctrine. His campaign is big on pointing out so called "code words" for this and that. Well, let's point out some of Obama's Code Words: "Redistribution of Wealth" which is Marxist and means that we take from those who produce and divide up equally with deadbeats and others who produce nothing but consume greatly off the Government Teat. He mentions: "Using Courts to Redistribute Justice." What he means is that he would encourage and use the courts Mandate Sameness and make laws from the Court, instead of the courts ruling on the constitutionality of the law. Obama talks about "fundamental changes in the direction of governance of the country." This is code words for "We will become a 100 percent Socialist Government with a government that will regulate and control everything you think, do or say, and we will end the Free Market, Private Land and Business Ownership, and everything will belong to the government."

Here is a code word for you Obama---NOBAMA

Vote McCain and Palin if you love freedom and would like to continue living in a free country.
