What was the biggest suprise of Election Day?

In the realm of public debate, young adults are taken about as seriously as Mini-Me would be playing center for the Los Angeles Lakers.  With their brains systematically fueled by Eminem, CNN, The Real World and American Pie Part VII, there is a stupidity coming from Generation Duh that makes the insane seem sane.

There is a good reason why most youth aren't taken seriously: the vast majority have nothing to say. They are the brainwashed three-thousand-feet-wide-and-one-inch-deep droogies of the ludicrous Left who have had their minds filled with the swill that comes from MTV News and the OC.  Our present crop of twenty-somethings is so heavily indoctrinated with anti-American and anti-God rhetoric by the time they're 10, even Lucifer thinks they're too liberal.

Frankly, I couldn't care less if one of the aforementioned ever spoke again. For me, it is hell listening to a postmodern co-ed "weigh in."  Y?know what I mean?

Now, with some of that load off my chest, let me say this: there is out there, in the land of the semi-free and sort-of brave, an enormous constituency of conservative, credible, commandment-embracing, constitution-honoring young adults.  And, my dear, likeminded silent majority ? it's time for you and me to stand up and speak out.  I?m talkin? Ted Nugent style.

If you?re with me, here?s a word of advice: ignore the ?mature?, carping critics who try to keep you at bay, stifle you in the college classroom, who roll their eyes at you when you disagree with their Michael Moore take on life.

Listen: a kid who embraces an objective eternal standard of truth, who's been briefed on the true origins of this awesome country, who would like to see this land excel according to the Founders' original intent, should have his mouth open in the classroom, in church, and in the community.  He should be banging away on his laptop, like Kramer on an overdose of chocolate covered espresso beans, writing his thoughts to anyone who?ll read them.

You see, right opinions are right opinions no matter what the age of the communicator, no matter who utters them.  By the way, if you're one of the yarbling and smarmy ?adult? critics mentioned above, know this: just because you're chronologically more mature, wear a bow tie, don a tweed jacket with elbow patches, quote Kafka and have a goatee, your thoughts do not invalidate a 21 year-old?s.

Truth is truth, and crud is crud.  Just because someone younger than you tells it as it really is does not mean it's not true and workable?especially if said youth is of solid character and is well-informed about the subject.  Age has no effect on verities.

My ClashPoint is this: Young Patriot Rascals, it's time for a verbal and visual ideological invasion of the secular classroom. Since everyone is coming out of the closet, it?s time for you to exit your protective womb and move solidly into the classroom and into the public square. Continued...
