Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Hillary Clinton’s made-from-whole-cloth fantasy about the perils of her trip to Bosnia was no unique foray into a world of make-believe accomplishments.

She’s been doing that for a long time.

Here’s another telling example: At a 1997 race-relations forum for teenagers in Boston, Hillary recalled the “pain” of a “childhood encounter” that helped her to grasp the injury suffered by the victims of bigotry. Her comments came as her husband was launching his second term in office by calling for a national dialogue on race and reconciliation. In an effort to empathize with her audience and inject herself into the discussion, she made up yet another incident that never happened.

“During a junior high school soccer game” on a cold day, Hillary claimed “a goalee told her ‘I wish people like you would freeze.’” Stunned, the future first lady asked how she could feel that way when she did not even know her. “I don’t have to know you,” the goalee shot back, “to know I hate you.”

Nice story, but it never happened.

While today’s generation of young girls routinely play on multiple soccer teams in their schools and towns, Hillary’s generation had no such opportunity. Hillary may have attended lots of Chelsea Clinton’s soccer games, but, that seems to be the sum total of her soccer career. As a school sport, girls’ soccer teams didn’t exist when Hillary went to middle or high school. In 2004, the Athletic Director for South Main High School in Park Ridge — and a 34-year veteran of the school system — confirmed that there were no girls’ soccer teams of any kind in Hillary’s school district in the 1960s.

Hillary seems to have simply conjured up the tale, like the one about the Balkans and the one about Chelsea jogging around the Trade Center on 9/11 and the one about being named after Sir Edmund Hillary, to appear more relevant to her listeners and to establish a bond of empathy with them.

(Girls’ soccer was catalyzed by the passage of Title IX of the Civil Rights Act in 1972 which mandated that girls and boys sports be treated equally in public education. It was only well after that law went into effect that girls' soccer teams sprung up. Unfortunately, Hillary was 25 at the time and well past her intramural days).

These “embellishments” of Hillary’s biography are similar to those of Al Gore during his race in 2000. But her claims to foreign policy experience and domestic policy influence in the White House are far more important. Nobody ever questioned the experience of competence of the Vice President as he ran for the top job based on his decades of serving in federal office. But Hillary has had just seven rather uneventful years in the Senate (and she hasn’t shown up for the last year while she was campaigning for president.) We have to take Hillary’s word about what role she played in the Administration’s policy formulation. And her word has been increasingly disputed.

Just this week, former Democratic Congressman William Lacy Clay, one of the original sponsors of the Family Leave Act, challenged her claim that she played a major role in passing the landmark bill. Hillary Clinton “never had anything to do with it,” he said. Clay pointed out that the bill had been passed several times by the Democratic Congress before Bill and Hillary ever arrived in Washington, but was subsequently vetoed twice by former President Bush. It was a no-brainer that Clinton would sign the bill — as he did just 15 days after taking office. And, during that time, Hillary’s official schedules never mention the words “Family Leave Act.” Her tight calendar in those two weeks included lots of health care meetings, attending the funeral of Thurgood Marshall, joining the president at the National Prayer Breakfast (her schedules notes: no formal role for the First Lady), attending a week-end session at Camp David with her latest new age guru, and hosting a dinner dance for the National Governor’s Association. But nothing about the Family Leave Act that she worked so hard to pass.

As we learn more and more about her propensity to make up stories and read herself into history — a modern Forrest Gump — we can be forgiven if we take her claims to have been central to everything from the economic recovery to the Irish peace process with a large grain of salt.

Why does she feel the need to enhance her relevance or dramatize her story with fantasies? When it comes to personal whoppers, like the soccer one, it’s likely that it’s because she’s seen how effortlessly Bill relates to his audiences, conveying empathy by biting his lip or with a tear in his eye. Hillary knows that she can’t do that. So she invents circumstances that compensate and put her in the midst of the action, at the center of events. She tries to create empathy, become close to the audience, through contrivance since she can’t project it adequately without resorting to fiction. It’s crazy, but relatively harmless.

But the stories about her fake co-president experiences are another issue entirely. Her tales of stopping the recession or speaking up for Rwanda (when no one — even the president &mdas h; knew about the genocide or had any meetings about the issue) or being "instrumental" in the Irish peace process are not reminisces of her days in the White House. They’re the calculated fantasies of a person who changes her stories when the truth is too prosaic or not sufficiently politically relevant. That’s Hillary Clinton.

The problem for Hillary is that she is running on her experience... but the simple truth is that she has no legitimate experience...

...worse, her "experience" is by virtue of her gender and marital status... and not really a reflexion on herself.

Further 8-years as a senator is not so much an accomplishment as an entitlement... otherwise she would run on her "experience" as a senator.

Obama has no experience either, but unlike Hillary he's running on hope, vision and leadership. Qualities that might be untempered and untested, but qualities none-the-less he actually possesses.

Hence the Hillary conundrum: how to project experience and accomplishment without any actual expeirence or accomplishments to showcase.

Without a core self, she MUST attach
herself to other things and ride on tale or the coat tails of her tangible or intangible host.

Anyway, "I wish people like you would FREEZE" ??? How lame is THAT?! If Hill's going to lie, she should make it at least a little realistic! The woman's never had a close encounter with competative soccer, that's for sure.

Not presidential material
Wouldn't it be excellent if there were a way to have Hillary as a president in some alternate reality? A place we could drop in on once a week - like a television series - to see what would have happened to us, if we had elected her. That would be endlessly interesting. A train wreck.

I really believe she thinks she is above the standards of behavior that apply to ordinary humans and that she has some entitlement to power and to wield it as she chooses. Hence her comments that she will "take away the oil company profits". Upon what does she base that right?

Anyway, she is an example of a person who needs power and can't handle it properly and, as such is the least desirable of all the candidates.

Two Things
After all the deceit, the lies and the underhanded scandals that plagued the Clinton administration, to include then First Lady Hillary, why is any of this news? Second, the "daily Dick dirt express" on the Clintons is becoming tiresome. Dick, we get it, you don't like Hillary but find something a little more substantive with which to enlighten us, we already know that Bill and Hillary lie.

Hey! Who's keeping count of the lies?
Hillary has the right to make reality whatever she wants it to be. If, in Hillary's mind she played soccer, so be it. If Hillary claims she was named after someone and was soon found to be a liar, so be it. No one ever said that there were going to be score cards keeping count of all of the lies Hillary has told. Anyway the score card is wrong, cause I'm sure there are a whole lot of lies we don't know about. So there. Before anyone ever pointed out any of Hillary's lies, she should be been advised that the hands off policy was no longer in effect because she's no longer the first lady. Who in the world expects Hillary to win the nomination if she doesn't lie. Doesn't she have to back up the claim she has all the experience and Obama has none. So, she wasn't in the meetings she claims she was, whats it's going to hurt. Even if Hillary did turn out being just a President's wife, doing all the lunch's with other wives, who's to say there wasn't adventure, danger, and close call meetings that could have taken place. So the life Hillary imagines she lives and the life she does live doesn't see eye to eye, those are Hillary's lies and she is still the worlds smartest woman, so there. Was that another lie?

Hillary's Lies
I read this on another forum: "Hillary just told her biggest whopper. She said she was human."

Biggest whopper of all...
For Chelsea's sake DM and the GOP are holding out on disclosing the results of surrepticious DNA testing. Let's hope Barack wins the nomination so Hillary's biggest whopper remains an official secret.

Research is your friend
In these days of Google there is no excuse for stories like the Soccer Whopper. Paying some student to google her high schools history would have saved her a lot of trouble. Of course, so would Googling Sir Edmund Hillary before claiming to be named after him would also have helped.

Unfortunately, Hillary is not a creative person and even her whoppers have not the facade of being good stories to save them. (Psst, Hillary, check out the whole Zidane Head Butt Thing to find out what happens when soccer people insult each other.)

Now if she had grown up in New York, she might hav used the famous Three Generation Curse that was commonplace in our heavily Catholic neighbourhood when taunting Jewish kids. MY GRANDMOTHER HATES YOUR GRANDMOTHER! MY MOTHER HATES YOUR MOTHER! AND I HATE YOU!

Now that is what I call an insult.

Hillary's quest for power
Those who obsessively seek power are the most psychologically unfit to actually wield it. Individuals with power over others who are wise enough to understand the corrupting force of that power and their own human limitations are extremely rare - only George Washington and the Roman general Cincinnatus come to mind (how many of you knew Washington was the first President-General of the Society of the Cincinnati? - probably no coincidence).

Observe the pattern of individuals who sought and wielded near-absolute, unaccountable power: Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Idi Amin, Pol Pot. By the end of their lives (if not sooner) all were literal psychopaths.

Hillary personifies the personality type most psychologically unfit for a position of power. She surrounds herself with people based on personal loyalty, not ability. She seeks obedience, not agreement. She is driven to fabricate stories, imagine events that never happened, and to take credit for achievements that are not hers. For Hillary, unearned personal significance supersedes truth, facts, reason, and logic.

The seen the rage against individuals she perceives as a threat to her power. We've seen her eyes bulge with mindless lust when being feted by her followers. She has shown little interest in her senatorial duties outside of their potential further her quest for more power. Difficult though it may be for many to accept, it is virtually a foregone conclusion that additional power will push her into full-blown insanity.

Maybe people will learn a lesson here
Those who seek high office are much more likely to be untrustworthy. They're not particularly interested in helping anyone. They crave power. They will do what it takes to get it.

This is the reason our founding fathers wrote the constitution to make our federal government small. Because if it was that small, they could do less damage.

Think about this next time you "follow" any candidate. You're likely being played for a fool by a liar. It's not appropriate for an adult to "follow" another, anyway. Grow up.

Hillary's Soccer Fantasy
How can we fault Hillary for making things up? She is part of the left, a consortium of politicians that have a dream of what the world should look like and pronounce it so. They are so enamored with their eutopias that they can't see the world as it really is.

The anti war sentiment is but one example. Just bring our troops home from Iraq and the world will be at peace. It's an idea from WWII. Let's face it. Those days are gone. They can't see that Islamic terriorist will fight us to their deaths to make sure we are destroyed.

So, it's no wonder that Hillary makes things up. Her objective is to get elected. I expect her to sacrifice her grandmother any time soon. Grandmothers of the left beware. You are fair game.

Hillary fans, how can you support her?
How do those who support this evil woman square her lies with their choice? C'mon! How blind can you be? Does she have this plank or that plank in her platform that is so important to you that you can overlook her ambition and her mendacity?

If the Devil appeared before you and offered you universal health care, in exchange for your immortal soul, would you take it? OK, she can't get her wicked hands on our souls, thank God, so the example is extreme, but it is on the same spectrum.

Deal with Hillary and you might get something she promised you, but you give up so much in return.

I pray that her bus drives off a bridge.

Hillary delenda est.

Pardon my pessimism
The steady work of the socialists have given us the following: Half the country appears to have a sense of entitlement to the unearned; the concept of states' rights has been thoroughly undermined; the Constitution is regarded as a road block instead of the road map it was intended to be.

For all practical purposes, we have achieved the socialist dream of government by bureaucracy led by people whose overriding motivation is the amassment of personal power. Such people will lie, cheat, and throw grandma from the train to get that power. And we're shocked, SHOCKED when we see these traits in our leaders?

Next on the agenda: A dictatorship, unless we all wake up fast.

Mamadoc
You have said the warning out loud for everyone on the blog to read; I can only hope that people get concerned enough about the two Democrat Liars to vote for the somewhat lesser evil of McCain.

How did we get to this pass in two decades?

Balack Hussein Obomba
Morris is a closet Obomba girl.

Mamadoc
Can we say the clintons, pelosi, reid, boxer, murray, biden, murtha, etc.? Oh! and Crazy gore for sure.

Visualize Hillary playing soccer
with her very unathletic looking body. She is in midair doing an acrobatic backward kick and landing on her rotund behind while scoring the winning goal. Freeze-frame the image of her tearing off her shirt and raising her arms in glorious triumph. Yeah. That's our Hillary. She has to fein empathy because in reality she can't relate to the experiences of most of the population. She is not like us folks and aren't we glad we are not like her. I picture her as the unpopular nerd in high school who wants to get revenge on the people who made her so miserable most of her life. She doesn't have the personal qualities or the proper experience to be POTUS.

Hillary's lies are
equal to those of jailhouse inmates who have a habit of creating bios of themselves where they can be all they can be,all in trying to outdo one another-

Dan, just don't read the daily Dick dirt

On the contrary, there are too many people who either don't know that they are habitual liars, or they downplay it. The more exposure to the Clintons' nonsense, the better.

Dan, if you think that Dick writes too much about the Clintons' lying, don't read his articles. Simple, huh?

MrRoy, great post!!

MR ROY, THIS IS TRULY A GREAT POST. I had not looked at the lib/lefty utopias (note spelling) quite that way. Thanks and keep up the good work. If your stuff converts one wishy washy moderate it's will have been worth it.

Luis
Let me add that Hillary basically called Morris a Money-Grubbing Jew. Can't blame him for hating her for saying that. Shocking this came out of the mouth of the "ultra tolerant and respectful of all groups" Hillary.

Luis
Luis, you corrected MrRoy's spelling, but in your next sentence you also made a grammatical error...."glass houses"...!

Morris needs help!
I almost feel bad that I've been getting on Dick Morris' case about his biased hatred for the Clintons. I now realize that this thing he has for the Clintons is a mental illness. I think he should seek professional help.

Hillary is experienced
Hillary is an experienced obfuscator,
Hillary is an experienced prevaricator,
Hillary is experienced at ambiguity,
Hillary is experienced at coverups,
Hillary is experienced at making up facts,
Hillary is experienced at misrepresentation,
Hillary is experienced at equivocation,
Hillary is experienced with moral equivalency,
Hillary is experienced at rationalization,
Hillary is experienced with delusions,
Hillary is experienced with egocentrism.

Who said Hillary is not experienced?

Hillary needs help
Hillary is handicapped by a type of serious mental disorder called a "psychosis" or commonly referred to as Liberalism in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, which are unshakable beliefs in something untrue.

Those who are afflicted with Liberalism have problems with recollections of their mis-deeds and total recall with mis-deeds of opposers.

Truth relativism increases proportionately when facts are not congruent with their statements.

Rationalizations increase dramatically when behaviour is spotlighted.

Ambguity becomes straightforward answers.

Opinons become knowledge and facts become appraisels formed in the mind.

Dysfunctional behaviour is normal and normal behaviour is dysfunctional.

Deviate behaviour is normal and normal behaviour is unenlightened.

Empathy for criminals proportionately increases while sympathy for the criminals victim decreases.

Sins of the guilty should be paid for by the innocent.

Responsiblity of ones actions and decisions are clearly the fault of others (taxes).

"Please relax," says Hillary, like a stewardess in an airliner with only one wing and two engines, one of which is on fire, "you are perfectly safe in my hands."

Soccer?
Why doesn't she just admit that it was field hockey.

It is really too bad
that these 2 candidates are the BEST the Democrats have to offer. What are they thinking?
