Poll
Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Just when every poll has Hillary slipping, she has gotten a shot in the arm from a very unlikely source: President George W. Bush.

In an interview on Tuesday featuring the first couple and Charles Gibson, the president said of Mrs. Clinton "No question, there is no questio n that Sen. Clinton understands pressure better than any of the candidates, you know, in the race because she lived in the White House and sees it first — could see it first-hand."

By saying that she “understands the klieg lights,” Bush lent credence to Hillary’s campaign assertion that she could “hit the ground running” if she were elected president.

Would somebody please explain to us what Bush is doing, touting Hillary just as the rest of America is finally catching on to her artificial, evasive and contrived campaigning style?

This is not the first time Bush has rescued the Clintons. After they left the White House, both the former president and the new senator had low ratings in the polls. Beset by scandal — the White House gifts, the pardons-for-sale, the payments to Hillary’s brothers for pardons, the Hasidic vote-for-pardon scandal, and Bill’s nolo contender plea to obstructing justice — Bill and Hillary were sucking wind.

But, Bush swept in for the rescue, picking the former president off the ash heap of history and elevating him to parity with his father in a two-former-president effort t o raise funds for the tsunami victims. By giving him a respected place alongside a former president of unquestioned integrity, Bush gave Clinton a tremendous way to climb out of disgrace and into the limelight.

Then, when the tsunami relief effort was winding down, he re-enlisted former president Clinton to work with his father again on helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Not only did Bush help the Clintons in positive ways, but he let his justice department drop the investigations of the pardons, the gifts, the payments to Hillary’s brothers and the Hasidic vote scandal with no prosecution or plea dealings.

Then Bush let Clinton off the hook another time when the former president’s former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger was caught smuggling classified documents relating to 9/11 and the war on terror out of the National Archives in his pockets and socks. The Bush Justice Department accepted a plea deal with Berger which did not require him to say what documents he had taken and why he had swiped them. As a re sult, we never knew what aspect of the Clinton record on terrorism Berger was so anxious to cover up.

All of this kid glove treatment of the former first couple led to jokes about how George W and Bill are the two children of President George H.W. Now the president is going easy on his putative sister-in-law, Hillary.

The fact is that Hillary has no idea what it is like to be president. Unlike Bill, she did not have to face the media daily and could keep them at arms length as she toured the world, acting like a tourist, in carefully contrived photo opportunities. When she was really involved in public policy — during the health reform debate — her insistence on the secrecy of the proceedings led to a federal court order and judgment against her.

Is President Bush deliberately helping Hillary to win the nomination because he feels she would be the easiest one of the Democrats to beat? If he is, he’s making a serious mistake. She is the only Democrat who can bring 10 million new single female voters out of the woodwork to sway the election.

Or, is it an ex-president thing? A kind of exclusive club of former chiefs who treat one another with kindness, civility and bend over backwards to show respect? Whether it is through political miscalculation or elitism that Bush caters to Hillary Clinton, he should stop it. Every day, she bashes him full time on the campaign trail. His kind words for her are so out of place, they are jarring.

President George W. Bush has done quite enough to aid the election of Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States already, thank you. Without his generosity to Bill and his refusal to prosecute matters that could embarrass the Clintons, he bears a great deal of responsibility already for Hillary’s rise to front runner status in the Democratic primary.

You really do not get it do you.
You are not alone Dick.
Neither the President or Hilliary are who they appear to be, as both are the representatives for the globalist ideology seeking to erase all nations National Identity.

Bringing us all under a One World Global Government, seated in NY,NY, the UN.
No matter how many times this is pointed out, it remains in the category of "conspiracy theories".

All the while the evidence for it is in every act and deed from Klinton/Bush since 1988.

A little more than 14 months...
...of this broken, confused individual. He, K. Rove and the RNC have done more to insure that Hillary will most likely inherit the oval office. DD

Bush's Fatal flaw
Bush sucks up to his enemies and turns his back on his friends. This is the same Hillary that just voted to cut of funds to our troops in Iraq, you numbskull, and we havent heard a peep about it from you or any of those other twerps you have surrounding you in the White House. We've had seven years of these creeps smearing your half-hearted quasi-liberalism as Republican Fascism, and us,your supporters, as fascist running dogs and for seven long years you havent had the backbone to stand up to them even once. The word for Compassionate Conservative in Yiddish is Yutz.

Hillary
could need his support and others if she keeps putting her foot in her mouth like she did on the licence-for-illegals scam. I ferverently hope she does as we don't need another 4 years of Wee Willie Winkie. Or is that Wee Winkie Willie? I like keeping a little money in my pocket. She has already stated that the voters can't afford her ideas. To me, that means more and more givaways. A trillion here a trillion there whats the diff right?

Hunter/Tancredo "08" The Dream Team!!!

Sorry,no NAU
What part of our opinion do our "leaders" do not understand?

What part of "We the People" do they not understand?

No amnesty IS our opinion.

Do all y'all get it?

further betrayal
is annapolis the sham... in the meanwhile the hydra (militant muslim countries, with communist china, cuba, venezuela, now even russia reverting under the kgb king putin)... the dumbing down of america, if we were ever that smart... i say that with great sadness... the stakes these days are potentially catastrophic, and i'm not talking about al bore and the sky falling...

{snicker}
"...she has gotten a shot in the arm from a..."

Bwah-hah-hah-hah! Ohhhh! Priceless! More like "a shot in the head" (figurative speech here, nothing else!).

For the nutroots, an endorsement from G.W. Bush is about as good as getting an endorsement from your choice of WWII Nazi leaders...while they are on trial for pedophilia, necrophilia and square dancing.

Talk about a stake through the heart! Ohhh!

Think-David Duke endorsing you as you run for school board. Yeah! That'll bring in the votes!

Of course, your own family may stop talking to you.

The explanation is simple:
CFR

The Council on Foreign Relations

Go Google it.

One thing Morris
is forgetting is that Hillary is the only Democrat in the senate (other than Lieberman), and the only Democrat presidential candidate who more or less supports Bush's "surge policy" in Iraq. Maybe "supports" overstates her position on the surge, but at least she isn't running around loudly opposing it like her Democrat colleagues are. Strange as it may seem, Bush sees her as the closest thing he's got to a Democrat supporter on the surge... and that is why he's being kind to her IMHO.

I feel like
Alice falling down the rabbit hole. Whats up with that!

bush and the clintons
does anyone really take the musing of president bush seriously at his point of his presidnetcy. That he has betrayed america over border security and the illegals issue, has guaranteed a legacy of total domestic incompetance. Sucking up to the clintons is in itself bizarre beyond all understanding. It is as though there are no values he has left that he can't betray. But if the dims think that repubs overall are enthused by this presidentcy they are sadly mistaken. Many of us are concerned whether he can still find ways to betray america. That he finds anything admirable in the clinton's speaks volumes about his ability to judge people. I am only surprised that he hasn't announced he is changing parties and will actively campaign for the clintins

Is Dick Morris crazy?
I agree with wildwest above, for the same reasons stated differently. The people who are going to vote for Hillary in the primaries think that Bush is the Great Betrayer. Read his rant and you tell me if you think Bush positively influenced his decision.

In 2006, Bush came out for candidates in OH (Mike DeWine and Ken Blackwell); their Democrat opponents (Sherrod Brown and Ted Strickland) won by large margins. Same for all the other 2006 contests.

And Morris thinks that Bush's opionion HELPS Hillary? Dick, go back to reading tea leaves; your Carnac the Great act is failing.

Could the Answer Simply be Honesty?
When are we going to stop trying to find conspiracy behind everything politicians say? It sounds to me like Bush was asked a question and gave what to him was an honest answer. Unlike virtually every other politician, Bush is honest--not afraid to say what he thinks. Unlike Bill Clinton, everything he says is NOT calculated for the greatest political gain. Bush ran in 2000 with the promise that he would reach across the aisle to get things accomplished. His actions toward Bill show he was honest about that. Unlike the Democrats, and, unfortunately, most Republicans, Bush sees no value in dwelling on scandals. He wants to get the work of the people done.

Mark is Right....Sort of
Mark,

While your comments sound absurd on the surface, they are correct in a way. Bush IS being honest. Unfortunately, it's not because he's principled in some way, as you suggest, but because he is so slimy that he truly does identify more with the Clintons than he does with conservatives. Why people like you still can't figure that out after 7 years is beyond me. He's shot the idea of smaller government out of the water, advocated amnesty, squandered the Republican majority that we waited 40 years for and people like you seem to still want to tout him as some sort of virtuous man. It's time to touch base with reality.

Sam
The only three Republicans that can beat Hillary are Paul, Hunter, and Tancredo. If that transpires, look for the GOP to lose 56-44%, tanking their congressional candidates.

If one looks at the polls, the two people that have a chance, and that is only a chance, of beating the shrew, are Giuliani and McCain. I have disagreements with them on occasion, but I prefer their policies much more than hers. I would prefer a full loaf of bread, but I'll take half a loaf over the heel (if I'm fortunate).

Slip Slidin'
Paul Simon wrote "Slip Slidin' Away" and the Decider has become the Deslider.

This appears to be maddening but...
there are several interpretations of this behavior.

1. The aforementioned CFR/globalism connection. I don't ascribe to this given that GW could have said kind words about any of the CFR Republican candidates and dismissed HRC as too inexperienced to be president.

2. He knows that any endorsement he makes is of little use to whomever is the beneficiary of said endorsement. Saying nice things about Mrs. Lenin might, it could be said, be harmful to her. The moonbats might be suspicious I don't think Bush is David Duke as some non-thinker said above but certainly, his poll numbers indicate that any support he offers a candidate is not going to translate to votes.

3. He is a conciliatory personality. This is my personal interpretation of why Bush would make nice with Hillary. Bush has ALWAYS seen the office of the president as the place from which to offer olive branches. Has GW EVER gone after his political enemies? He doesn't because he reveres the office so highly that using it for personal or party gain would be unbecoming. Meanwhile, the rest of us probably wish, from time to time, that he would use it like the Clintons did and squash his political opponents. I'm not saying he should use the IRS and FBI files like Bill and Hill did but at least he could stand up in a press conference and point out the hypocrisy and incompetence of the Dems once in awhile.

hrc is bush
in drag!

Gay Conservative
Thye only reason for your prediction is that people are too lazy to get out and talk. Tell all your friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else you come in contact with. If they say they are going to support HRC then explain all the pitfalls of that. I've been a pain in the toosh on a lot of people, but I've also pulled in a few at least for the primary. We have people here from all over the country, north, south, east, and west. We can get the message out like never before. Look at how we stopped scamnesty. We can do it if people get up off their collective assets and WORK!!

Hunter/Tancredo "08" The Dream Team!!!

Beeblebox/ right on!
Bush is not understood by many because he believes in the integrity of the office as opposed to Clinton who had sex in the oval office and wore jeans to work there. He is also a gentleman and genuinely a good man which makes him unsuited for politics. He does try to reach out to the dems. He absolutely acts on his beliefs in spite of what his fellow republicans think. He is not a "by the book" republican which is so irritating to many of us.

-I wish Bush was more ruthless.
-I wish he had gone after his enemies more openly rather than ignoring all the broadsides and dirty tricks from the so called loyal opposition..
-I wish he hadn't taken the office so seriously and had interfered more with the work of the congress when they had gone astray. especially in spending on both sides of the political spectrum.
-I wish he hadn't played by rules no one else were following.
-I wish he hadn't been so loyal to advisors and appointees.
-I wish he wasn't so genuinely compassionate and could get beyond caring to see the overall consequences of caring (as in the immigration bill).
-I wish he didn't always look for the best in everyone (such as the purple prose for Clinton and looking into the sould of Putin.)
-I wish his religious conversion hadn't influenced him so much he forgot or ignored that "politics ain't beanbag."
-I wish his idealism and compassion had not extended out to the whole world. (like seeing the benefit of the Law of the Sea treaty to others and ignoring the harm to us."

The Deciders

The corporate owners of The Unified Establishment Party* are already shifting funding from Rudy to Hillary. They don't care which one wins. They win either way. The RNC and the DNC are two divisions under the same ownership. The cheap labor express will be kept running, regardless of the will of the people.

That is, unless we nominate and elect someone who actually WILL secure the border and enforce the laws. It's up to us to save the GOP from itself and bring it back to its principles. The "handlers" have to be shown the door by voting your conscience in the primaries. Stop listening to the spin and hype, decide for yourself who best represents your values. If a cross-dressing, former mayor of a sanctuary city who marches in gay pride parades reflects your values, vote for Rudy. If that does not reflect your values, figure out who does and vote accordingly. We can nominate someone other than the MSM's choice. It's our country, we are the deciders.

*(h/t Pasadena Phil)

IS THERE NO END TO BUSH BETRAYALS?

.....I feel like I voted for Dr. Jekyll and ended up with Mr. Hyde .....COLOSSUS

Regularization Rudy

Regularization means amnesty. If want amnesty for 20-30 million illegal aliens, vote for Rudy. If you do not, know that a vote for Rudy is a vote for amnesty. A vote for Rudy is a vote for SPP, he will implement it. So will Hillary. Be prepared to once again be called nativist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, racist bigots for wanting your government to enforce our laws. Rudy will not enforce them. He intends to change them for the lawbreakers. He has said it is impossible to enforce them. He will not even try if elected.

MexAmeriCanada
Please take time to go read the SPP. Security and Prosperity Partnership. Sounds innocuous enough, it is not. It must be stopped by the next President. We must elect a President who will enforce the law, secure the border and retain American sovereignty. We have one election to save our country. Vote in the primaries and please vote wisely.

No Amnesty Candidates

No Rudy, No McCain

Romney, Huckabee and Thompson are saying the right things now, but haven't always. Hunter and Tancredo have been working on this for years on our behalf. Longer than most of you have been alarmed about it, they have been trying to sound the alarm. Choose carefully in the primaries, your future depends on it.

Recommendation from BUSH?
A recommendation by Bush of anything is a negative!

What a dirty trick, geting Bush to recommend Clinton.

Dozens if not 100's of appointments Bush made or his Admin made is a rouges gallery of the most incompetent, lame, crooked & pathetic characters ever assembled.

Dick Moreaasss is the most incompetent political prognosticators/pundents on the sceen. His whole world is getting even w/ the Clinton's; 99% of what he says is wrong.

"Condi v Hillary"? HE WROTE A WHOLE BOOK ON IT!

Any one could tell that Condi does not even want to be Sec. of State much less President. My prediction: Condi Rice will BEAT FEET to the cloistered academic life at U never to be heard from again. All GREAT Statesman continue to be Diplomats through their life, Kissinger, Baker, Carter and so on. CONDI....ha-ha, no Statesman or diplomat; Another Bush flunky, yes woman carrying an ideological & political LINE 100%. That sucks for us and the world.

The other Bush genius appointee of Bush-n-gang, the so called Diplomat John Robert Bolton. Ha-ha, he thinks ALL the Presidents men should be YES men, flunkies, totally loyal to the President. How about loyal to the PEOPLE, America & the Constitution. Bolton & his big Moustache so wrong, in so many ways.

Lincoln & Clinton, had top level advisers and appointees of the opposite party in their cabinets. You get richer, better decisions when you have people who speak-up, NOT yes-men. Bush surrounded himself w/ incompetent, co-dependant, enablers w/ one exception. The ONE GUY that should be the Presidents man, the VP, was the opposite, Dick Cheney. Cheney has been openly defiant & insubordinate to Bush & nothing happened to Cheney. (I guess Bush was worried about Cheney's aim?) Cheney doesn't respect Bush & basically ran roughshod over the white house & congress w/ total autonomy & authority. THAT IS MESSED UP!

Fool Me Once...
I voted for Jorge Bush twice and yes, he is an idiot.

I agree
with all of the above. I can't believe that he has so completly turned his back on America.

You forget
the FBI files. Bush is compromised as he is in Mexico where many think in his drunk days they have film of him doing cocaine, orgies, possible murder by vehicle, and possible homosexuality. Trying to trap his CIA daddy,,,,they hit a goldmine on a future Pres...explains it all.

Hillary's "experience"
My husband is a lawyer. We have been married for 26 years. I run his law office. I do the legal research. I help with the briefs. I go with him to court.

Where's my bar card?

Is Hillary a repeat of Bush?
POLITICO-Clinton’s and Pelosi’s differences of detail cumulatively add up to something large — two distinct strands of thinking about where threats to U.S. national security lie and how aggressive to be in confronting them.

Liberal Democrats will have to get over it: Clinton is an authentic hawk. Her support for the Iraq war resolution five years ago this month, whether motivated by politics or principle or some of both, was not an aberration. Nor is her tough talk against Iran.

Assuming she wraps up the Democratic nomination over the next couple of months, she will almost certainly emphasize these interventionist views.

Charlie Reese has been
correct all along. Simple common sense. The evil polititians are our other face. It's as simple as that. They know us and admit to the fact how well they know us amongst themselves and play the great game well.
It is us who are the problem.

Really?
What does Hillary have to say about it? Although I had noticed long before she became a candidate the bushies and clintons hung out together. Birds of a feather flock together?

No surprise from G. W. Chump Bush, Jr.
Of course, and his father fell asleep during the debate with Bill Clinton and got his clock cleaned . . . this family is the pits of American political life. Simply awful. And to think I was fooled by W.'s conservative religious cowboy swagger into thinking he might hold true to the principlies upon which this country was founded. Some hope. No, perhaps Hillary will lend W. a pair of pants if she is elected, since she obviously wears the pants in the political milieu of D.C. BTW, Huckabee is a Bush clone in waiting -- I will vote R. Paul in a NY second if the choice is between him and another RINO pretender hooked on big govt. "compassionate" (except for the young and the earning class) conservatives. The religious right is going to be really sorry if they continue down this path of blind support for any religious huckster who comes their way . . . socialistic societies have never been very restrictive of abortion rights. Enjoy.

Bush, Clinton ...
Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush ... Clinton, Clinton ... Bush(Jeb?), Bush

Magical Thinking?

Bush may believe the Clintons will return the favor... when Jeb runs? Not!

Or, he may realize Americans would not vote "The Clintons" back in? We won't!

Likely, the Presidency has simply warped his sense of reality. Rose Garden colored glasses?

Why resuscitate the witch?
Skull and Bones.

Bush has been a traitor all along
This guy is not doing anything that wasn't prelanned from the beginning.....From the unsecure borders to the devaluation of the dollar he has planned to destroy this country. His constituents are THE ELITE and The Corporations . He doesn't give a flying fig about any of the middle class that built this country. I voted for him and his betrayal is the worst in the history of this country.I just hope he gets what is coming to him.

Best of the Bad
The President may have made the same calculation that I reluctantly have.

With the GOP having no world beating candidate, there is a far from remote chance that the Democrats will capture the White House.

In these perilous times national security trumps all other issues as far as I'm concerned. Compared to juvenile Obama, snake oils salesman Edwards and a remaining cast of mediocrities vying to be the Surrender Now crowd's darling Hilary is clearly the least unacceptable.

Not that Bright
George Bush is not all that bright. But then, he's a lot smarter than me because he fooled me twice. But, in all fairness, I voted for Alan Keyes in the 2000 Michigan GOP primary. Keyes may be no smarter than Bush but at least he's literate.

Investigate the crimes
Jorge Bush should have started an immediate investigation into the Klinton regime as soon as he took office. There were reports of a lot of shenanigans by outgoing staffers. He should have turned over the White House to the FBI crime scene investigators for a day or so and pressed charges against every Klintonista that stole or vandalized government property in their offices prior to leaving. Having most of the Klinton regime in jail might have killed Hillary's Senate campaign.

Its over.
There is no difference between the two parties. It is all a dog and pony show designed to keep us hostile and divided over mundane minor issues while they steal our money and our power.

"Hit the ground running" ??

Hillary will hit the ground :)

Even Michigan's Democrat Governor is worried... She is releasing criminals by the thousands.

If everything goes well, Michigan will release nearly 30,000 inmates(Democrats) by election day.

What a sick party!

What Bush is doing
Morris asks: "Would somebody please explain to us what Bush is doing, touting Hillary just as the rest of America is finally catching on to her"

I know what Bush is doing, because he hinted at it in an interview a while back--but only a few columnists picked up on it:

Bush has decided that Hillary is likely to win the election and become President. And so he's trying to reach a "gentleman's agreement" with Hillary: Bush won't attack Hillary, if Hillary won't propose a radical shift in Iraq policy that would lead to a military defeat for the U.S. once she becomes President.

If you parse Hillary's statements carefully (something we all MUST do), you'll find that she is carefully avoiding committing to anything specifically peacenik while still SEEMING to denounce Bush on the Iraq War. For that, Bush is grateful. He doesn't mind if Hillary slams him. Just as long as Hillary doesn't slam the war.

My prediction: Under President Hillary, the Iraq war will continue throughout her first term, with a somewhat reduced U.S. force (70,000 men).

HUNTER FOR AMERICA

Republican voters still get to decide who their nominee will be. Money only buys elections when people act like sheep. If 80% of Republicans are indeed seeking a conservative, we can nominate one. We can nominate Duncan Hunter by voting in the primaries. The money players won't like it and are trying to convince us only Rudy McRomneyson can win. Hogwash. 49% of people will never vote for Hillary. Only 60% voted last time and turnout was the difference. My belief is Rudy would push turnout down. There might even be a third party, splitting the vote. Give Americans a chance to vote for a candidate who WILL secure the border and watch what happens to turnout. Americans want their government to fulfill it's most basic responsibility.

The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

http://www.gohunter08.com

stevel
the clinton's don't feel loyalty to their own supporters and have sacrificed personal friends for their own ambitious plans. This idea that the clinton's would honor any agreement made with bush is fantasy. The missus clinton will only ride the iraq horse as long as she can see herself on the winning side. Should anything go wrong after bush leaves and the nightmare of the clinton presidentcy take over she will look for any excuse to blame bush for any failures in iraq. Plus the far left will be satisfied with nothing less than total withdrawl from the whole m/e

Bush/Clinton Fatigue
After this term there will have been a Bush or a Clinton in the White House for 20 years and most of that time we have been at each other's throats. It is time for a change and I think a lot of people have Bush/Clinton fatigue. Ultimately that will do in Hillary. This country won't survive another Clinton. She is too polarizing. We need a leader, not a MorOn.org sympathizer.

Many Texans hate Bushes
I'm a Texan, Christian and conservative, and I have never had anything but disgust for the Bush family (except for Jeb, of course, who is a true patriot). I never liked his spineless dad and I saw through W in a NY second. When he allowed the totally unjust execution of Karla Faye Tucker for purely political reasons, I could see that he was a vile hypocrite without the slightest sign of true Christian manliness about him, a thorough disgrace to the proud heritage of Texas and to the name of Christ Jesus which he falsely bears. While in the White House, he has easily lived down to all that I expected of him and much, much more.

In the upcoming election, however, we have an opportunity to vote for a Texan of an entirely different kind, a man of sterling integrity with a steel trap mind who really understands constitutional principle, Dr. Ron Paul. Ron is the polar opposite of our little igit-midget in the ovel office now, and we are extremely fortunate to have him available as the only condidate who can meet our desperate need for a great man to lead us out of the utter mess we have been getting into for all the 73 years of my lifetime. Why not check out his views at his web site, RonPaul.com?

DICK
Sorry Dick but nobody gives a sh!t what peso george has to say, so why would it matter what he says about her thighness? Same as we don’t care that you are trying to get her elected in reverse!
Go home and sleep it off DICK :P

Hunter’s best quote: Move away from the Ted Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party. (Jun 2007)
To libs there is no lie, it is expedient exaggeration!

well stated kgregt:
He's shot the idea of smaller government out of the water, advocated amnesty, squandered the Republican majority ...and still want to tout him as some sort of virtuous man.

And when he ran for President in 2000 one of his most famous campaign lines was "We don't do nation building."

Baseballdoc, I'm with you!
It would appear that Hunter(My former congressman)has alot of support from true conservatives, who recognize him for being our best candidate. Why has he not risen into the top tier I wonder, if so many are disgusted with the top tier choices? I believe that we really need to support his candidacy, and get it going.

President Bush Supports Hillary Clinton?
Why so surprised? A person would have to be daft to not realize that President George W. Bush and Peesident (elect) Hillary Clinton have the same agenda. Both are for bigger governments, doing everything that can to implement Amnesty, and forsaking the Constitution for Globalism, United Nations, World Bank, NAFTA and soon the Kyoto Treaty and LOST Treaty. Neither had or have a plan for real energy independence, a Flat Tax system, a decent Education System or real Health Care coverage. Lip service is cheap and that is all you are going to get with either the Republic or Democratic Parties. The American people really need to look towards a Third Party and we will always be getting more of the same.

Sorry, I agree with Talent Scout

This is no accidental set of circumstances. The obvious should be obvious. We have crime, inc. in blatant operation within the highest cupola of the U.S. government.

Making excuses and looking for boogey men is not going to get the answers. The only difference I can see between Mr Bush and the Klintons is which state they are from, otherwise, just birds of a feather.

Ronald Reagan was the "last, good and decent" president of the U.S.A. and should be remembered for those qualities above all others. From here on it is all down hill into the dragon's mouth.

Look at the candidates. Except for Duncan Hunter and Tancredo there are no faithful American good quality candidates in either party except for the loon, Dr. Paul. When I look at Mitt Romney, I see possibilities, but no sureties. After that we are left with all the Mr. Sellouts or Mrs Sellout.

Makes you want to move to Antarctica or maybe Tasmania but without the internet or somewhere you never hear about these people again.

King liberal I find myself
in much surprise in agreeing with you "a Bush non-endorsement-oh please" At least that part also.

Actually I agree also with your list of her accomplishments.

It is ludicrous to get the idea that Bush was endorsing Sen. Clinton. What he was doing is stating the simple fact that she has been in the Whitehouse and under close national scrutiny since before her husband took office in his first term. Anyone remember the "stand by your man..." episode. I dont recall any first lady ever being so absolutely in the spot light. Course I have to start my recolections from the Nixon administration but still.

Also this continueing fable that Sen. Clinton has acomplished nothing in her life, propegated by far too many conservative comentators is just a little shy of reality and could possibly lead to a great underestimation about her ability to win the election.

Chump
It hurts to say this about President Bush. But he’s a chump.
The people he has the harshest words for are his base. The people that voted for him and probably sent money to his campaign.
He kisses the behind of people that hate and do harm to him.
I don’t know why he does these lame things. Maybe he has the mistaken belief that if he does nice things to them, they’ll do nice things back.
But can’t he see these people have never returned favors with civility?
Again I say President Bush is a chump. He’s let his base down time and time again while lending a hand to his enemies.

Tuff Times ahead
I agree with Virginia Patriot,
Unless we elect Hunter or Tancredo we could be in some serious trouble. I don't want a globalist or an illegal alien shill or some other "sell out".
B. Svara

This acquiesence by Bush is strange
Ostensibly, we who are believers would understand his willingness to turn the other cheek, and be civil to all his enemies, but he has carried this kindness to the Clintons way too far. It has taken on a quality of creepiness that smacks of conspiracy.

While Hillary was in the White House, she had access to the highly secret FBI files of anyone she desired. Though this was absolutely a felonious action on her part, she didn't let a little thing like the law stop her. It is my contention that she has something on either GWB or the Bush family that would be devastating if it were made public. That is, after all, her Modus Operandi., To me, nothing else explains his strange behavior when it comes to the Clintons.

Clinton Panderer.
Bush has done everything in his power to destroy the Republican Party. He is as close to a Dictator. I wish that he would resign his position early and give our country back.

"President
Bush Supports Hillary Clinton" Why would this surprise anyone? I mean really, no surprise to me and I'm not all that smart, so it definately shouuld not surprise anyone here at TH whos hobby is writing about politics.

Would it surprise any one of us if McCain supports her or Rudy or Mitt or Fred. No, I dont think it would, so why be surprised if Pres. Bush does? Hiilary is one of them a good ol boy, so to speak.

We all know it would be business as usual if Hillary is elected and business is good. Why spoil something so profitable, they all have worked so hard in unison to create.

Why does it feel bad? He is a traitor in every sense of the word and people who had sent him money and voted for him, are the wiser for it! I know I am! He swore to protect and defend this country and yet he refuses to close our borders and crap like this is going on.

Kick To The Stomach
And so we have the sorry spectacle of the man we have backed playing Charlie Brown to the enemy camp's Lucy. Doing so without any ostensible reason, gratuitously. Not even a professional in the business of political analysis can understand such self-destructive behavior, both to himself, the President, and to his party and the persons of their candidates. It seems that in fact the only people up in D.C. running for President who are chummy with the current President are the Clintons. When was the last time the Romneys, or the McCains, or the Giulianis, or the Huckabees, or the Pauls, or the Hunters, or, for that matter, the Bidens, the Dodds, were up at Kennebunkport? No, the only couple who have been there, and who will be there in the future, is the Clintons. As Tip O'Neill said, "All politics is local." You can't get more local than piloting a cigarette boat with friends and family over the high seas, and I can't imagine that Hillary didn't demand her turn at the wheel. So, we have what we have here. It is what it is.

Hillary, Bush , Delay Open Borders!
Hillary is bought and sod by the same special interest that wants open borders and tax payer subsidized labor at U.S. workers expense! A vote for Hillary is a vote for more BUSH!

WP-Because of his financial interests, Cantu’s influence over potential donors is substantial. He has raised money from doctors who work at the hospital where he holds an ownership interest, from bankers who work at the bank he co-owns and from the scores of tradesmen who contract with his primary business, Cantu Construction and Development Co., one of the town’s dominant residential and commercial builders. The Clinton donors included dozens who had never registered to vote, several who were Republicans and 10 who had previously made contributions to President Bush and former House majority leader Tom DeLay (R).

Shrillary is REALLY scary!
Even libs like Howard Fineman admit that Shrillary is the first person in history to turn adultery into a U.S. Senate seat. She has been in the Senate for 7 years-- big deal! America has only EVER elected 2 sitting Senators to POTUS,
and JFK got elected amid spurious circumstances, just like Presidente Jorge, the ILLEGAL alien traitor. What executive experience does Shrillary have? What business has she run? Oh, she did work for the crooked law firm in Little Rock akin to Grisham's "The Firm." That's it! She already knows how to lie and parse! And she would have the master prevaricator Slick Willie there to help her... yep, she is surely qualified! She will be able to define what "is" is.

Shrillary has feigned a move to the center to get elected, but make no mistake about it-- she is a card-carrying, Big Brother lib at heart. Slick Willie would go with the flow as long as he could take the credit, but not the Wicked Witch-- she KNOWS that "the era of big government is (NOT) over." As a lib, it is her perceived ticket to personal power hegemony-- there is no real caring there, as liberalism is a Robin Hood game of wealth distribution for power.

Presidente Jorge likes Shrillary? Big surprise! He is ALSO a globalist, big spending RINO manipulated by neoCONS and wanting to suck up to Hispanic voters! Ditto the Wicked Witch!

Grass roots Cons are clueless
We live in a classist system. You think Bush is with you more than with Clinton. But to Bush and Clinton, “We the people,” are not you. It is they.

Bush and co. has no interest in giving the white house to people who will not serve their interests.

Clinton has proved herself loyal, supporting the war, and the American oligarchy.

Finally there is the question of Dynasty.

Bush and Clinton are political dynasties.

Do you really think that Bush is not thinking of his daughter Barbara?

For Barbara to be president the myth Americans will not vote for a women in the white house has to be dispelled.

Clinton opens the door for Barbara and Chelsea in the future

The Clinton / Bush dynasties can continue

what's next?
first theres the creation of nanytes. then there was the false teaching that "Allah and God are the same God." Now theres support for stupid and ugly Hillary.

What's next Bush?

Uber
I hate to break it to you but right now and for quite a long time anything with the name Bush on it will give about 75% of the people a bad taste in their mouth. I think this would include his daughter. As for Chelsea, From what little of her I've seen on T.V., She would have a hard time convincing about 50% of the people to elect her to dog catcher unless they counted living with her mother as experience!

Hunter/Tancredo "08" The Dream Team!!!

Kick The Legs Out From Under Klintons!
Okay. We've sussed the grift. Now, we need to figure out how to beat them. There is a CAMPAIGN
that can be staged that will change the current
oppression. What are some of the major assertions in such a campaign? What do we want?
We want our candidate to stand up and demand in public a full disclosure of Berger's crimes. Our candidate must demand this BIG TIME, ALL THE TIME. A crime against us, WE THE PEOPLE, was fixed and this can't be tolerated. MAJOR DEMONSTRATIONS PICKET THE CLINTONS ROUND THE CLOCK. We won't let it rest. Another Federal crime: Chinagate. Thirdly, since SHE returned to Wellesley for a little makeup and girl-to-girl base building it is high time for her to explain who Saul Alinsky was and what he taught her to do. And why she is doing it. We know all about her rejection of Goldwater's conscience of a Conservative. We want her to answer, we want our CANDIDATE to get out there the way he would were he in the House of Commons and demand an answer.

Oh PLEASE
So President Bush (or someone on his staff) failed in an opportunity to gaff Mrs. Clinton, and suddenly some of you feel betrayed, suspect a conspiracy, or conclude that he's a chump.

President Bush is a gentleman first off. He has never gone after anyone in the vicious way some of you would like him to.

Yes, he and his father helped restore the Clinton's social respectability. According to his morals, that was the right thing to do.
He offers his hand in friendship to all, even those who refuse it, and those who later bite it. He consistently tried to see the best in people, regardless of how they have treated him.
In some cases, it's been pearls before swine.
But you needn't look further for a motive than his own personal ethic (and actually acting on it, which really seems to pss some people off).

Surround Klintons With Irate Patriots!
Everybody reading this, including, of course, Mr. Morris, knows the drill here. Think of a list of grievances against her, a bill, like the one Jefferson sent the King. Well, we have our own BILL for her and this time we're crossing right up to her phoney book dealed mansion in D.C. with the Federalist furniture she stole, and we're going to bang on that door backed by thousands of Eagles and TV cameras and have Rick Lazio stab her masked face with this BILL. CITIZEN'S ARREST! What we need is a PRESIDENTIAL campaign by our CANDIDATE that pins the Clintons against the wall and won't let up. If it takes 10,000 VETS to surround her and him at every campaign stop from now until Doomsday, let it roll! Demand that she produce the FBI files. We know she has them. And if she won't cooperate, our CANDIDATE will demand that the PRESIDENT order the FBI go and get them back! NO MORE SECRET POLICE! WE THE PEOPLE NEED AN ANGRY, RIGHTEOUS CANDIDATE who speaks in Jeremiads and brings the media country to a standstill, induces a crisis, brings physical pressure to this cabal of doublespeakers, KICKS THE DOORS IN, KICKS THE LEGS OUT FROM UNDER THE CLINTONS and brings our country to a moment of truth. Our CAMPAIGN must insist on a Constitutional crisis of epic proportions which must needs lead to a new dawn with new leadership.

I believe that if this political operation, this campaign, is conducted rightly that the election of 2008 will be contested in a bombed out political landscape with cordite hanging in the air but it will be conducted openly and intelligently between Duncan Hunter for the Republicans and Joe Biden for the Democrats.

Horizonscanner
Nice thought that. Unfortunatly as you can see here the people are so divided it will never happen. The border is the only thing that 78% of the people ever came out in rage about. Too much apathy. We need something real to build a great big fire under them. Something they can see right in front of their noses. Even then there will be some conspiracy people that will say it's fake.

Hunter/Tancredo "08" The Dream Team!!!!

Oh Please. Look up where the Sun shines
No. The Clintons commited state crimes, not mere social gaffs. Sandy Berger broke into a federal installation and stole state secrets for reasons that are undisclosed. WE THE PEOPLE demand to get to the bottom of these felonious matters. This woman is in control of FBI files. This is a crime. The Klintons always elude the law by means of TECHNICALITIES. Damn her doubletalk. I want her arrested, damn it. George Bush wouldn't let Trent Lott skate, the two border patrol guards are still in prison, their families ruined, and you tell me he is some sort of nice guy? No, something is rank in the state of Denmark. And there's worse. The fish rots from the head down. President Bush better do something about these two miscreant children of dysfunctional families right now or be prepared to sink on the Clintonistan cigarette boat he loaned her. The kind of CAMPAIGN we must wage can take no prisoners. It is a full restoration of law and order, beginning with the Clintons.

To Eastlake Joe
We don't need a consensus. We need to do to the Klintons what the Eagles did to Sheehan at the Vietnam Memorial when we surrounded her and shut her down. This is called PUSH BACK. This is called CIVIL DEMONSTRATIONS under our Constitutional rights of freedom of assembly.
We need, say, 10,000 patriots from Coast to Coast who will volunteer for this operation. They shut down our people at Columbia. They don't know what shut down is. Hillarity RodThem, as I suggested, needs to be surrounded wherever she goes. Noise. Contention. Trouble.
Firestorm must arise around her and this time she won't be able to pretend that she is the ARBITER, the way Alinsky trained her during the New Haven blowup in 1968. After all, Alinsky started all the trouble, and so did she.

Bush's support of the Clintons
The bond between the Bushes and the Clintons goes back a bit. For those who have long memories, please recall how warmly Barbara Bush and Hillary Clinton greeted each other after Bill's election. They seemed to have an immediate bond as they both openly denigrated the press. The conduct of Hillary Clinton has made it clear that she is merely George Bush in a dress when she chooses to wear one. If she is elected, God forbid, national policy will be more of the same. This country cannot take that.

Save Your Country

Securing the border and enforcing the law is the only way we get to keep our rule of law, our representative Republic, and our Constitution. We must elect a President who WILL secure the border and enforce the laws. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this will no longer be the United States of America.

If the GOP thinks they can continue to import cheap labor for their donors at the expense of the citizens, they will. I will not vote for that again. If we continue to play the game of "the other guy is worse", we will lose our country. Sorry, but I will not participate in that game any longer. The GOP power brokers think we will vote for "anybody but a Democrat" so they can continue to ignore securing the borders and enforcing the laws. I'm hoping GOP primary voters give the party elites some surprises in the primaries. The levers of power and the money in the GOP are all in the hands of the cheap labor express. They do not want Duncan Hunter as the candidate. He WOULD enforce the laws and secure the border. WE have to make him the nominee by voting in the primaries. We have to talk to our friends and neighbors about him. He is not going to get media coverage. It's going to have to be a grass roots effort. I WANT to vote for a GOP candidate in Nov.'08, I WILL NOT vote for any of the amnesty supporters. If it takes crushing the GOP so a new party representing American citizens can arise, so be it.

It feels bad because I voted for the backstabbing Chump. Twice.
He has some kind of love affair with Mexicans in our country illegally.
He’s abandoned his base and he’s sided with the Democrats on everything but the war and stem cell research funding.
I like his Supreme Court picks though.
But he acts strange when the chips are down. What it is is you just can’t trust him to make the conservatives proud.
He makes you feel leery about him. Like a friend that took sides against you in an argument with someone you both don’t like. What is it with him?
Can’t he see what he’s doing?

Silas
He can see what he's doing and he just doesn't care. He doesn't need your vote now so he doesn't even have to make the false face. He wants the illegals here and he doesn't care what we feel about it. I honestly think he figures he's going to go down as the 2nd worst president in history so what the heii.... He knows that hilarity will do her best to keep them here so he might as well try to give her a shot in the arm. It might backfire on him though as his name is almost synonomus with cow pie.

We need something real to build a great
Eastlake Joe:

"We need something real to build a great big fire under them." (I really hope Dick Morris reads this post.)

There is indeed ONE material example, one THING,
which embodies the mortal danger, the intellectual and spiritual corruption, the craven stupidity of government officials, the treason of liars at the highest levels of our society, the betrayel of the best intentions of American citizens, a THING that ought to be able to galvanize PATRIOTS to arise together and SMITE the RadLibs and possibly Al Q operatives at the highest levels in our midst:

The Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pa., which will be when built, if Patriots do not intervene, the world's largest Islamic MOSQUE!

Go to Google Video. Find: "Flight 93 Memorial Investigation." I (ELEMENOPE Productions) produced seven vidcasts. Look at them in this order: Intro, 4,5,6,1,2,3. You will then see into the heart of darkness. Next to the Trojan Horse, this Memorial is one the greatest war tricks of all history.

Disgusted
Many of you wouldn't know a moral man if he was right in front of you. (Hint: he is).
He didn't play payback with the clintons. He rose to a higher level. And you can't see it.

SunThe1:

Sure, George Bush has exhibited a soul presence in his public duties. It is hard to not like him, if you believe in trying to do the right thing when it comes to helping people who cross your path. Unfortunately, he, at inopportune moments, contradicts not only himself but his own best political interests. It may be "moral" to reach out to criminals and seek to rehabilitate them. But, he doesn't understand that not only are the Clintons ideological foes who seek to eliminate and invalidate people like George Bush and his family, but they are sociopaths. Read Saul Alinsky, her political guru. As the President and chief law enforcement officer of our country, and keeper, as was Ronald Reagan, of the honor and integrity of the White House, its staff, and its inheritance, he had and has a duty under law to enforce the law. This woman STOLE treasures that WE THE PEOPLE own. It isn't George Bush's personal call to see if he can rehabilitate her person in the eyes of the electorate so that then she will maybe behave rightly and be the leader she claims to be. He disappoints because he hasn't enforced the law in her and her husband's case. He disappoints because he makes the same mistake with the Clintons that he made with Putin. We who like W, who with Dick Morris know the peril our already endangered republic faces if this couple somehow seizes control of the White House again, are saddened and concerned when we see the President undermine his own, and the country's best interests. Don't you understand?

Bush Supports Hillary
George Bush has done more harm to the Republican party than any President since Richard Nixon.

All Republican are more interested in being liked in Washington than representing their constituents. It has always been that way and I see no change for the future.

Lesson: vote for a conserative or don't vote.

HorizonScanner
Yes I do see. And I feel the same way you do about the Clintons, agree with everything you said about them.
GW is a bigger man than I, that's all I was saying.
And you are right I think that it has operated to his detriment to be so (on the face of it anyway). Certainly hasn't done him any good in any way that can be seen.

SujnThe1
Roger Campbell wants to say something: "Chesterton pointed out that the only person we definitively know who went to Heaven on his death was a thief. But the relevant data was that he was a penitent thief who admitted his crimes and begged for mercy. There is a duty to forgive but only when an individual takes responsibility for his actions, apologizes, and seeks to make amends. Neither Bill nor Hillary has done this and this is why W's 'killing them with kindness' while magnanimous is simply wrong."

And, a terrible political blunder which puts the Republic in a crisis that ought to have been lanced. (HorizonScanner)

Oh yes, Pres Bush is awesome!!
Just awesome I say. I wish we could elect him again. Hey everybody, if we got rid of that pesky Constitution and the free republic system of government we have,,,,,,,,Dang, I forgot its already happening, don't you hate when that happens, when someone already came up with a great idea, that you thought you had. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.”

“Mr. President,” one aide in the meeting said. “There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.”

“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

I’ve talked to three people present for the meeting that day and they all confirm that the President of the United States called the Constitution “a goddamned piece of paper.”
