No one dare criticize Hillary Clinton

Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

There’s a new mortal sin in American politics: criticizing Hillary Clinton.

Nobody’s allowed to do it.

Certainly none of her opponents. If they dare to, Hillary sends in one of her boys, who practically accuses them of being un-American.

In January, without ever mentioning Hillary’s name and before she was even a candidate, John Edwards dared to express the view that silence on the Iraq War was “betrayal.” Ignoring the substance of Edwards’ speech, Clinton gun slinger Howard Wolfson immediately shot from the hip, attacking him for waging a negative campaign:

“In 2004, John Edwards used to constantly brag about running a positive campaign. Today, he has unfortunately chosen to operate his campaign with political attacks on Democrats who are fighting the Bush administration’s Iraq policy.”

If you like the idea of censorship of critical political speech, you’ll love Hillary Clinton as President.

To Hillary, open political discourse apparently means that her opponents and their surrogates are free to compliment her. If they do otherwise, it’s off with their heads.

Not even supporters of Hillary’s opponents are allowed to disparage her. If they do, the wrath of Hillary surfaces and it is not a pretty sight.

The latest sinner is Hollywood superstar David Geffen. Geffen used to be an avid supporter of the Clintons – he raised over $18 million for them in the past. But no more. Now the Dreamworld founder is backing Obama – and he’s not afraid to say so.

That’s why Hillary wants him banished to political Siberia.

Geffen gave an interview to New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. Here’s a few tidbits from him that apparently rankled Hillary:

“...I don’t think that another incredibly polarizing figure, no matter how smart she is and no matter how ambitious she is — and God knows, is there anybody more ambitious than Hillary Clinton? — can bring the country together.”

“Obama is inspirational, and he’s not from the Bush royal family or the Clinton royal family. “

“It’s not a very big thing to say, ‘I made a mistake’ on the war, and typical of Hillary Clinton that she can’t,”

Geffen also call Bill Clinton “a reckless guy” who “gave his enemies a lot of ammunition to hurt him and to distract the country.”

Hillary was outraged at what she called these ‘vicious’ and ‘personal’ attacks against her and her husband by Geffen.

Vicious? Those comments were vicious?

Yes, to Hillary, they were. So, the Clinton camp wasted no time in trotting out Howard Wolfson to once again defend the honor of the heiress apparent and call for Geffen’s head. This time even an apology wouldn’t be enough: Hillary demanded that Obama dump Geffen and return the $1.3 million that he raised for Obama because of Geffen’s negative comments about the frontrunner and her husband.

That would make things a lot easier for Hillary, wouldn’t it? In the world according to Hillary, there’s no place in politics for anyone who doesn’t love her and Bill.

Unfortunately for Hillary, Obama doesn’t seem to be shaking in his boots. In response to Hillary’s tirade, his campaign pointed out her hypocrisy and ignored her ridiculous demands. Obama’s spokesman pointedly refused to get in the middle of a Clinton- Geffen war.

“It is ironic that the Clintons had no problem with David Geffen when he was raising the $18 million and sleeping at their invitation in the Lincoln bedroom. ...It is also ironic that Senator Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina Senator Robert Ford who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because he’s black.”

(Remember Ford: he’s the guy that signed a $200,000 contract with the Clinton campaign right before he endorsed Hillary)

Hillary has never been tolerant of open political debate if that means people can legitimately criticize or publicly disagree with her. Now she’s become even more dogmatic, arrogantly believing that her frontrunner status is tantamount to a coronation. She seems to believe that it is an act of war for a fellow democrat to even challenge her for the nomination. If they disagree with her, they need to be punished and sent to their room.

Watch for more of this imperial behavior. It’s her trademark and it will be the signature of a Hillary Clinton presidency. She learned a thing or two from Richard Nixon.

well said Janet from Tucson
Slick Willie and Shrillary are indeed a well-matched pair... they are equally, shamelessly amoral-- without a moral compass whatsover.

Politics is a strange game... nobody remembers that Ross Perot really got Slick elected [in a two-man race, daddy Bush would have been re-elected]. Then, ironically, the public so repudiated "Hillary care" socialism in '94 that a Republican wave came to Congress and forced Slick to move right, which helped him beat too old/no real message Dole. It was then Republican-driven spending restraint, welfare reform, and emphasis on crime control that helped re-elect Slick and that he would later claim credit for as personal achievements.

Then Shrillary parlayed Slick's serial philandering into a Senate seat! Even a liberal analyst opined: never before has an aggrieved woman turned it into a U.S. Senate seat!

Repub/Con Obsession with Sen. Clinton
Is starting to reach levels of mass hysteria that was associated with her husband, former President clinton. Most of it is being fueled by jealosy and envy. Right wingers would trade places with her in minute if they had the chance.

Truth be told Sen. Clinton itimidates repubs/cons just as her husband did. the bottom line is she is a formidable politician with a ton of money and a political machine behind her, not to mention one of the most brilliant politicians/strategist of modern times in her corner former President Bill Clinton.
They KNOW how to defeat Republicans

I am from Arkansas originally. I am intimately aware of Bill and Hillary Clinton's political track record. I despise Bill Clinton. He is what was known in our neck of the woods as "white trash." It has nothing to do with money and everything to do with character. I detest Hillary but the only way she scares me is that she would be such a disaster as a president that it would set women in politics back by generations. She,as her husband, has no character. They are a perfectly matched pair in that factor. This woman stayed married to a serial adulterer who has continued to slip around one her. She reminds me of the old joke about the rich guy goes up to a beautiful woman. "Would you go to bed with me for $1 million?" She blushes, pauses and says, "Yes." Then he says, "Would you go to bed with for $50?" She glared at him. "What do you think I am??" He answered, "We've established what you are. Now we're just dickering over the price."

Barry re: Swiftboat Hillary
I haven't seen the book but found this on Yahoo:

http://www.perspectives.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=131083&forum_id=4

Interesting question: whose temper is worse, hers or McCain's?

Lynne
Yes, it was big news at the time. There was anpicture published nationwide purportedly showing how he could have killed himself but he would have needed longer arms that Kareem Abdul Jabbar has to do it. One of the TV news reporters at the time asked how he could have shot himself in the back but I don't recall the official's reply:

http://home.earthlink.net/~sixthfloor/estes.htm

The Wikipedia article doesn't mention the shooting but has info on more suspicious deaths:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billie_Sol_Estes

Makes for interesting reading!

Swiftboat Hillary
Drag out that book by the former Secret Service Agent about Hillary Clinton's temper, read it, then ask the question, "Do you want a hothead like that , who blows up and throws stuff around the room with her finger on the nuclear trigger?"

My answer is NO !!!

renny
Some Nam era marines were draftees. They were part of "McNamara's 100 thousand." Basically, the 100,000 were street criminals, sociopaths and such who were given military as an option to jail time. The 100,000 were assigned proportionally to the various service branches, and some went to the marines. Most were useless or worse and ended up in the III MAF brig in Da Nang if they made it to Nam. The interested may also google "McNamara's Wall" and other fiascoes a la McNamara to get a flavor of why liberal dems should never be entrusted with national security matters

Skeletons not all Clinton's
Does anyone here recall the incident where a USDA employee supposedly shot himself five times -- in the back -- with a .22 bolt action rifle -- and three of those five shots were incapacitating in themselves? This was shortly before the 1964 elections and was connected to corruption involving LBJ and a guy named Estes.

Hitlary
Some one above said this something a Nazi might do. Hmmmm, I seem to remember that any candidate who opposed Adolf Hitler even before he was made Chancellor of Germany was roughed up or killed. No one made any remarks critizing Hitler. As the one man said "People wake up, this sure is starting to go down like the Nazi take over of Germany in 1933/1934.
Don't ruffle or critize the candidate. Good Lord no, We really don't want to do that.........what's next concentration camps for Mrs. Clinton's detractors? Liberals will try anything to get their way.
And oh yes pay VERY special attention to the posting above this one. How much longer do you want this list to get? How many more Americans have to die to fulfill Hillary's dreams of ABSOLUTE POWER?

late to the discussion but not long ago
at a party of mostly liberals (National Education Assoc. mavens, and I am still a member as I still teach and coach), they started fear-mongering over the renewed draft. One said you could go through her yearbook and see this one drafted by the Marines and died in Vietnam, that one drafted by the Marines and died in Vietnam. Then another chimed in that a guy she went to a prom with was drafted by the Marines and went MIA in Vietnam. Several uncles and cousins in my family are former Marines, so I said, "You must be mistaken. The Marines have never drafted anyone. The Air Force doesn't draft anyone. Only the army drafts." Total silence. One guy said he was just a child at the time, but he as sure he brother was drafted into the Coast Guard. (!!!) I said, "You are misinformed." At least that guy didn't die in Vietnam. So, next a colleague says, "Maybe they joined the Marines to avoid the lottery." These are all people who graduated in '65, '66, '67. There was no lottery until Nixon, and not even at the beginning of Nixon's first term. Now, these are educated people, many teaching 25-30 years, most with masters degrees. All this time they have been anti-military and anti-war and have never known the Coast Guard and Marines don't draft people or that the famous lottery did not take place while they were in high school in the early-to-mid'60s. These are true members of Hillary's generation. So righteous and so right about everything that they "think" or feel and often just dead wrong on any subject. As for libs. and their always starting something because they just can't keep quiet and be civil, in a discussion about a couple in my town who are notorious for crime and scandal, a lib. piped up with "Well, Laura Bush killed someone." I didn't know anything about this accusation and couldn't answer her. When I got home I Googled "Laura Bush Killed Someone" and found out as a teenager, Laura--than not Bush--hit a fellow classmate with her car and did, indeed, kill him. It was, however, an inexperienced driver's accident, not some deliberate murder, and she was not in any way excused or protected by the Bushs, who were not in her life then. I have not met with the person who said that since and have always tried to be friendly and civil to all my fellow teachers, since I am the lone cons. among the wolves of liberalism. But I have started speaking up more often, even if it's sarcastic and unpleasant. I was at a dinner where a distinguished physicist, head of a department, former chairs at Harvard and Princeton, spoke of his work with free ions and their possible use from noninvasive surgery to understanding the sun's activities and the ozone layer. He doesn't think there is anything to the ozone layer's demise. So, a lib. colleague, a social studies teacher w/no masters, said, "He must be a jerk." I said back, "I didn't realize you had a Ph.D. in physics and were a recognized expert on astrophysics." She harumphed and ooh'ed and ah'ed and said she was sure she had read something in the NYTimes. She had no real argument about the ozone layer or anything else, she had the usual namecalling. I rest my case.

Shrillary
Maybe she holds a grudge because she never got a sympathy card after someone dropped a house on her sister.

To Darby: liberals are not poorly informed; they just lie a lot.

Here comes poor old Vince again!
Dick:

I have warned you before about bad mouthing Queen Hilly. Now both you and Obama are on her Vince Foster list. I sure hope she does not get all the way down to scratching you off.

catalina
I have to agree with that. I have a flaming lib relative who even after reading FACTUAL MATERIAL can't digest it and resorts to the same old crap....

Bu$Hitler

Bush lied

Bush AWOL

etc.

When dealing with libvermin, always remember:

"Stupid is as stupid does."

That way, you'll never be surprised at their idiocy.

Did Hillary campaign for Kerry in 2004?
Did Hillary do much to campaign for Kerry in 2004? (Bill Clinton was sidelined with his heart problems, but what about her?)

I've often wondered if Hillary wasn't too disappointed that Kerry had lost. If Kerry had won handily, and then went on to win a second term in 2008, then Hillary wouldn't have been able to run herself till 2012, at which point the country might want a change and want to vote Republican again.

BTW: I do think that Bill Clinton, despite his heart problems, would have gotten out of bed after four weeks or so and worked harder for Kerry's election if Hillary had insisted on it. Apparently she didn't.

Libertybob
I've been calling her Hitlary for years.

She already has her profile out on the net.

Ein Folk! Ein Reich! Ein Fuerher!

Hitlerly
Great nickname. I think I'll use that instead of Shrillery from now on. Let's make it so common that soon the MSM will have news articles on it.

Why don't you people "get it"?
Hillary permits expressions that are favorable of her or agree with her agenda.

Hillary believes in a strong central gov't that redistributes wealth from the productive to the indolent, with the exception of herself and the nomenklatura.

Hillary shows that she has no connection between what she says and what she does. Like Humpty Dumpty, words mean what she wants them to mean at a given time, driven only by how the words suit her agenda.

HILLARY IS A COMMUNIST. Period. End of argument.

It was bad enough having a commie sympathizer in the White House during WWII, but if Hillary takes the White House we will have many firsts... first splittail President may be the one the MSM crows about, but the significant first is that she will be our first *communist* President.

Left Angel RE your 12:33 post
I would think that her "It takes a Village" manifesto combined with her desired government takeover of the medical industry might tend to lead people to the conclusion that Hillary is not exactly a champion of the invidualism that is characteristic of a free, capitalist based society.

As for the "corrections" she would perform, please enlighten us as to what these would be.

Criticism
Unless Hillary Clinton admits her vote for the Iraq war was a mistake she doesn't stand a chance of winning just as Kerry lost for the same reason. The only reason for any Democrat to have voted for the war was either ignorance or crass politics. Ignorance means they thought it was the right thing and politics means they thought they had to, to be electable.

LIMITLESS ARRRRRGHOGANCE
from being only one of many girlies Bill slept with to a SENATORESS in 10 sec????
The situation is, to put it mildly, abnormal.
And the queen flies a broom, not a jet?
tsk, tsk. ;)

Thats incorrect:
1) Hillary's negatives are reaching interesting proportions, even in New York, not exactly a bastion of right wing republicanism.

2) Moderates are turned off by her blantant political handling, posturing, and general sleeze factor.

3) Were it not for the Bill Clinton connection she would be a nobody. in contrast to Bill, her personality is ascerbic and patronizing.

4) People are tired of the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton dance. New times require new faces, not the same old dynasties.

Obama
I'm just glad there is someone out there that is giving the ole Hill some competition. There isn't much I agree with Obama but geewizz he has something Mrs. Clinton will never have - a personality. I think its hilarious that Left Angle thinks money will get her over the finish line. Since JFK the general election winner goes to the contender the average person would like to drink a beer with (Even Nixon was more personable than Humphrey or McGovern, but not by much).

Hillary ain't Bill folks - she has no charisma. Ideology (and alleged felonies) aside she just isn't a pleasant person.

greenguy
That dinnerware always was the government’s property. After all:
1) ALL property is the government’s.
2) Hitlery IS the government.

Ergo: All property is Hitlery’s!

H. Clinton & liberals
I was a liberal in the sixties because I thought there were many things that needed change in this country. After a few years, I decided that the best way for change to be made was to contact my representative and to become knowledgeable about past voting records and what a politicians true agenda was. I started to see that the liberals largely operated on a knee jerk agenda while conservatives operated more on thinking and fact finding. I have never been registered as a Democrat or a Republican but as an independant. I have always been an independant thinker and don't buy in to partisan politics. I vote for the person who I feel is most qualified and has the best character, but most of all," Who is this person and what do they stand for"?
Career politicians should have term limits since they are not entitled to a job at the public trough. When an elected offical stops representing the people who voted for him, he (or she) needs to go! By this what I mean is that be they Republican or Democrat, when either party dictates what our elected representatives say and think and what their agenda has to be, they stop being the people we elected, and become pawns. What happened to "Of the people, by the people and for the people"? Wake up America, we don't need more liberals we need more common sense!

Left Angle
Your Freudian slip is showing.

Loyal Democrat
As other's have so duly noted, I look forward to your comments on any of the threads on TH. Keep up the good work ... "We all love ya", man/woman/transgender (ala Budweiser) ...... I would love to hear what you have to say about Bill Maher ... What a splendid braintrust that man enjoys, if only we all could be so insightful and brilliant.

For buzzkat, there is one hope
Unfortunately, it is "the US isn't ready for a REAL (only meaning 'physically existent') woman president, and won't be until Bangladesh has elected two Hindu and PM's" (close to impossible as Bangladesh is about 89% Muslim).

(note: I didn't use "flesh and blood", as the only blood Shillary has is that which she drinks)

I wonder what Hillary is hiding..
and I don't just mean fat ankles, calves and thighs.

She won't lose my vote for being evasive to questions, she will lose it because she is not good for this country. She is the transparent candidate even as she tries to conduct a stealth campaign. My radar screen is bleeping with the appearance of a phony candidate.

I wonder though, if she does win POTUS, does the dinnerware stolen when she last left the Whitehouse, become the property of the government again?

correction: your characterization
see above

Liberty: our characterization
Of Sen. Clinton as a socialist/communist is utter nonsense. I believe her agenda is to correct all the things Emperor Bush screwed up
while in office. thats good enough for me.

Left Angle
Yes, Hillary has a lot of money and power behind her. How does that make her socialist/communist agenda into a good one?

Has she done an open interview yet?
Has she done an open forum with anyone other then Demoncrat supporters?

She will be interesting to watch when someone is allowed to seriously question her in front of a camera.

Give the money back?!!!
That truly made me laugh out when reading that for the first time. The narcissism is unbelievable--who says things like that??--especially with a string of dead bodies in their midst?

BenL
The reason why liberals become so enraged when challenged is because you are insulting their religion. People have an inate need for religion in their lives. For liberals who are atheist, agnostic or non-practicing Christians or Jews, liberalism itself takes the place of religion.

So you are not merely disagreeing with them, you are challenging central dogma in the Church of Liberalism, which causes them to react on a visceral, emotional level. This is compounded by their general tendency to base their positions on feelings and emotions rather than logic, reason or empirical evidence. All pretty amusing for people who think themselves intellectually superior to others, don't you think?

NO ONE can complain about Hillary Clinto
Hmmmm Let me take a stab at it...

Hillary Clinton...to me, that name is synonymous with lies, deception and anti-Americanism. I haven't forgotten Whitewater and how she and sleaze hubby Billyboy threw their friends to the wolves. I haven't forgotten her disastrous idea of socialized medicine which would have lined her own pockets since she owned stocks in pharmaceutical companies.

She lied about contacting 911 victims and their families.

She constantly flip flops on the war on terror-note here I said war on TERROR, not IRAQ since I believe she would rather have this country overrun by fanatical Islam. She is also in bed with CAIR and has been for many years.

Her more recent comment that ILLEGALS should be given SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS (even though Dems including Hillary has been screeching about how broken Social Security is and how it will go bankrupt within our lifetime) because "it isn't fair to take their nest eggs from them". I guess she doesn't give a rat's you-know-what about OUR nest eggs vanishing to ILLEGALS!

And as far as her lousy husband is concerned, I'm glad I never voted for that idiot. Bill Clinton CAUSED this nation more harm than good. His zipper was more important to him than national issues. He couldn't tell the truth to save his life, even less to save his career. Lieing to Congress has been a staple in Clintonian life.

I sure hope that horrible woman never sets foot in the Oval Office. I await the knocking on my door from her goonsquad.

Bravo, LD
It would be a great honor for all of us to one day know who you are and from whence you came and whither thou goest. How you ever can accomplish that so that we all know, is a feat which will rival your journalistic abilities. Your first number one best seller book - a compilation of all of your TH posts - may help. Be sure to identify yourself as LD so that we'll all know.

I read your posts and must admit that oftentimes it's difficult to tell exactly where you're coming from. I do know that your goal of making one think is usually accomplished within the confines of this gray old head.

Like you, I can see the validity of the thoughts expressed by nearly everyone, though I must admit to having a difficult time with some. I really feel that there's blame enough to go around for all. I've often said that the best thing we could do is to tell all of those government affilitated inhabitants in D.C. to go home and never come back. Trouble is, we'd still have to support them. Maybe that would be better though - at least they wouldn't be legislating and screwing things up. I subscribe to the theory that the nation is best served while congress is in recess. Trouble is they leave their staffs behind planning the next outrage.

It seems to me that too many people, who post in reference to the many articles on TH, take themselves too seriously. I never saw a Democrat or Republican who was 100% correct on every issue the first time and for whom even hindsight was 100% correct.

Enough, already. But, again, LD, keep up the great work. Your efforts are never wasted, unlike the efforts of too many on these posts.

LD: You rock
Once again, you rock- at the "bleeding edge" of sardonic commentary.

Anointed and coronated
Hillary Elena Ceausescu Clinton is so transparent it is laughable. She clearly believes that the 2008 Democrat presidential nomination is hers by birthright, and is sputteringly aghast that someone would DARE challenge her coronation. Barack Obama is her worst nightmare; he came out of nowhere, blindsided her, and now she is in a fight for political survival. The other non entities vying for the Democrat nomination are essentially figureheads in the script she has been laying out for years leading to her ultimate goal, and she was bemusedly prepared to play the game of campaigning against these "rivals", when all the time the outcome was preordained. Barack, although only yet another liberal shell with no substance, is the monkeywrench in her universe. Look for her and her husband to play the dirtiest politics of personal destruction in American history to bring Barack down in the months to come.

Another idea
LD
Actually, come to think of it, perhaps you could start a blog on the website and cut and paste all your posts as a resource for those of us who miss any. I've often wondered why you don't have one....

professional writer
LoyalDemocrat,
Your posts are little rays of sunshine in an otherwise bleary world of spontaneous rants. As spet12republican proposed, you should write a book. Just divide it into a few chapters on different subjects, test out some more meaningful phrases here on the blogs, gauge the reaction, compile it all, find a publisher...

I'd buy one!

LD - great job once again
Yes, LD is great. I have to admit that he got my blood pressure up the first time I read one of his posts, but figured out that we was indeed illustrating absurdity by being absurd about 3/4s of the way through. That was another knee slapper today.

We all have a Hillary in our lives
You think Hillary is one of a kind? Just because you worked for the Clinton's, you think you know Hillary better then us. All of us has had a Hillary in our lives at one time or another. There's nothing there but arrogance for being who she thinks she is. She surrounds herself with those who worships her for giving their useless lives a purpose. Hillary stayed out of the public light for a purpose. She wanted to establish that mystery about who she is and how she thinks. Now we know. So much for the worlds smartest woman. We know now why they kept Hillary away from the public. She's an idiot. Hillary is stuck somewhere between her college days and thinking she's some type of super model, parading up and down at colleges so the students can get a good look at her. Getting a good look might have been worth it some twenty years ago, but now it's just some old woman who wants to find a place for herself and purpose now that Bill Clinton is no longer president. Hillary's out of touch with this world. She's fine in the fantasy world she created for herself with her circle of fools who craves for the day they can fall on their sword for her. She makes speeches to the very farmers she voted against and expects their votes. She makes speeches against the rebel flag Bill wrote into law and acts as if she wasn't part of it. She votes on behalf of her own speeches she made, when Bill Clinton was President on going to war, and then turns around and claims she was lied to. It was the information Bill handed the Bush administration and Hillary claims they were lied to. By who? President Bush hadn't been in office long enough to get eight years of intelligence provided to him by Bill's administration. Hillary acts as if she's doing us a favor by running for President. She's even declared herself the winner. To Hillary, the elections is only a formality which she is willing to play along with. The Presidency is already hers, she feels she can wait. We have seen with Bill Clinton as a perfect example, of what a groomed and pampered spoil child can get away with, because of others who are always willing to take the fall for them. Hillary, because of her birthright and her coronation by Democratic losers, finds it easy to walk into a world she's totally disconnected with, but because of her socialist ideology she's welcomed by the far left in memory of Bill Clinton.

Temper!! Temper!!
Hillary (er, uh, excuse me, "Bill's wife") is well known for having a temper. When she ran for Senator in N.Y., she chose those to whom she gave interviews. They would ask only pre-selected softball questions. Anyone who had a negative comment was attacked and given a negative name like "bigot," "racist", "Un-American," etc.

Can you imagine Hillary ("Bill's wife") having to deal with the partisanship that goes along with occupying the Oval Office. We would have a "P.M.S. President." I don't think our country could survive that.

Rich
Dick Morris actually seems to care about the Country, Nation, and Constitution as a whole, more than a particular ideology. At least that is how he comes across to me; meaning that he seems to be interested in solutions to problems that may actually 'solve' them.

When he is not out to protect us from the Supreme Anointed One that is...

LD = "demonstrating absurdity ...
... by being absurd" to quote another master of of the practice. Yeah, I do see some Rob Long in his stuff. A little more biting than Long though. Maybe if Rob Long and Ann Coulter mated the result would be LD. With a dash of Uncle P.J. in the mix.

Very entertaining stuff. Thanks, LD!

Dick?
I have watched you on Fox many times and I have yet to figure out whether you are simply mad at the Clintons and really deep down still a liberal Democrat or if seeing their manaical criminal behavior have actually switched your politics, but as long as you speak the truth about them, I don't care much. Keep it up.

LD, I too at first thought you were nothing more than a well written Kimberloon, and have since enjoyed your sarcasm greatly. Please keep it up as well!

Robert Ford
The SC senator that has signed on to HRC campaign is Darrell Jackson, not Robert Ford. Ford has given his endorsement freely.

Selective Recall
On a drive yesterday I listened to a montage of Hillary's quotes as gathered by Sean Hannity. Someone of the caliber of Loyal Democrat had better rush in to sort out this mess for her in a hurry. Reaching back in time and cherry-picking quotes would embarrass any of us, but that compilation was devastating. Her personal back-patting after the capture of Saddam and her poll-responsive comments when it looked like we had wrapped this one up earlier than expected ought to give her a red face now as she lashes out with a self-righteous vindictiveness that borders on mental instability. Here is a politician who has no conscience (and apparently no memory) when it comes to reconciling previous and current positions. The fact that the media has given her a free ride on this simple proves their complicity.

America's Elena Ceausescu
Does anyone remember Nicolai and Elena Ceausescu, the Communist lowlifes who ruled Romania with an iron fist for over two decades? Elena in particular considered herself privileged in a divine sense, sent by the Utopian God of Communism to save her subjects from themselves. Her official title was "The Best Mother Romania Could Have". She said about her countrymen that "the worms never get satisfied, no matter how much food you give them." This evil, scary dominatrix is exactly whom Hillary reminds me of.

Hillary Clinton: the most dangerous man in America.

Loyal Democrat

If you're not now a professional writer, rest assured that you will have a rewarding career as one whenever it is that you retire from whatever it is that currently do.

I look forward to reading your posts on any thread. And, yes, they always make me think with a a good bit more clarity -- whatever the subject.

Fun with Hill & Bill
Can we really take another season of this? I only hope the front-runners on the Dem. side continue to rip each other new ones, each & every day. Hillary is the woman with the secret files & some of her (former) 'friends' might now be willing to spread some of the dirt they have on the Clintons around.
This could become one of the BEST primary election seasons ever. Really.

Truth hurts
The Supreme Anointed One. She's pi$$ed at Geffen not because he donated money to an opponent, but because he dared speak the truth about her and her consort.

Nov/Dec 08 is gonna be fun. Particularly if the initial Electoral College vote counts (as based on the Nov elections) don't validate her Coronation plans. The really watch out as she pulls out all the stops to get the actual College votors to Vote for her in Dec...

Loyal D and RODVAL
Loyal D, another winner! I did send your response to Cal Thomas' Congressional Indian Givers to my local rag...we shall see if they would like to print your great views of the absurd!
RODVAL...LD is indeed a military man somewhere in the sandbox right now...I would love to think he is a VP for a company who thought he could make a difference by serving, because he sure makes a difference here.

Liberals and emotions
I find that on most every issue, liberals approach matters with a deep emotional bias shrouded with false or misused facts. If one scratches the surface of their argument, one gets the full brunt of the underlying emotions.
It's very rarely even positive emotions. An example would be the "poor" or "homeless". Liberals have long waged a steady campaign to entitle these less fortunates, and may even go to a soup kitchen to hand out food, but they don't really care about these poor and homeless. It is all a matter of making the liberal feel better about themselves. They could care less if the poor person walked out of the soup kitchen and choked to death on the sandwich they gave them, because it was all really about the liberal and his/her needy emotions.

Addendum to Libertybob and BenL
Not only are liberals prone to hysteria, most are also poorly informed no matter what the issue is.

RODVAL
Me? Oh, I guess I could be just about anybody at all. I could be an amateur political writer that is doing a little stand up routine in the blogosphere. I could be a dolphin repairman. Or I could be something as outlandish as a guy that gave up his position as a senior vice president to go fight as an 11B infantryman in Iraq because he felt a need to reduce the number of kids that kept popping up on CNN's Iraqi Casualty report. Maybe I'm a paste taster for a kindergarten safety squad. Who knows?

I could be a guy that lives under an overpass, or a guy that sells health food out of a rented garage. Heck, I might not even be a guy. The way the world is, I might not necessarily be a gal either. Maybe something transitional, who knows?

It is also possible that I am just a person that likes to make people think. Maybe I'm a person that likes to have a sounding board for ideas, and likes to get reactions to what he (she/it?) writes. I might be a person that realizes that some responses do make make a person take a different view of some positions that they once had. I might even like the critique of those that hate what I write, for such criticism might allow me to hone my approach in a manner that would allow me to make my case a little better the next time around. And maybe I'm the type of person that sometimes likes to simply point out the absurdity of some viewpoints that lack any sense at all. Or maybe I'm just antagonistic and like to cause trouble.

But all guessing aside, be assured that I am a person that appreciates all of those who contribute to this dialogue, whether they are on the left or on the right. The posters here are wonderful, and they push their opinions with the greatest of effort and with the utmost in enthusiasm. That is the America I enjoy.

But RODVAL, if I gave you a genuine resume, it would likely be disregarded as an Internet fraud, for as was pointed out in an earlier post, anybody can be anybody given the anonymous nature of the Internet. And for now I do prefer to remain anonymous.

And (blush) thanks for the compliment.

loyal democrat
Great post, as usual.
You have such talent that I'm trying to guess your real identity. Are you a famous professional writer?
Are your initials RL? Did you once do great satire on the VP? Come on give us a hint.

Sarcastic?
Maybe.

HarvestMoon
I believe Loyal Democrat is being sarcastic. You are, aren't you, LD?

We owe Hillary?
That is the funniest thing that I have ever read.

The American people do not owe her anything because she has not done anything for the American People.

The quote "It is better to silence those with opposing ideas than to risk having Hillary lose."
sounds like an quote that the supporters of Hitler would use.

Libertybob
I agree. Reasoning with a liberal usually leads to hysteria. I can only speak from personal experience, but I have a couple of examples which seem to follow a pattern. We were once on a family ski trip. At the end of the first day of skiing, we were relaxing in front of the fire when one of us (a liberal) brought up global warming. When one of my brothers (a conservative) brought up an opposing view, all hell broke loose. The conservatives among us remained fairly calm, just inserting some facts into the discussion. But, the liberals were screaming and just plain went crazy. Finally, one of the conservative brothers brought piece by signaling an end of any further discussion. The evening was ruined. We no longer go on ski trips together anymore.

My current liberal neighbors are the same way. We both know each others political leanings, so I don't talk politics with them very much. But, that doesn't stop them from expressing their hatred toward conservatives. When they do, I normally just smile and keep my thoughts to myself to avoid confrontation. However, once in awhile, I would express a conservative viewpoint and they cannot contain themselves. They get red in the face and won't speak to me for weeks.

We have been told all our lives that conservatives are intolerant, mean-spirted people. But, it is the liberals whom I have found to be the least intolerant.

Hopefully
...in less than two years all this will be just so much mud under the bridge when Rudy is the next president.

Hillary Lacks Resilience
I question Hillary's capacity for taking the heat that will inevitably be generated by a campaign that, on election day, will have been going on for nearly two years. She always seemed to me to be a person who lacks the kind of resilience that is required in today's political climate. If she allows herself to be seen in the midst of an irrational, emotional meltdown, she will be finished as a candidate. And she can't hide behind Wolfson forever.

Stop grilling Hillary.
Criticism is a negative action, and only seeks to derail those that know what is best for us. We cannot expect Hillary to be able to tend to our needs if she must counter her detractors, so it is only right that such voices be silenced. And if laws need to be passed that protects her right not to be criticized, then so be it. It is better to silence those with opposing ideas than to risk having Hillary lose.

And for those that still arent convinced, consider this: We owe Hillary the presidency because of what we did to her when Bill's perjury problems were revealed. America humiliated this woman, so we should make amends by making her president - with NO questions asked.

Its not just Hillary,
but liberals in general. While some mean spirited ad-hominem attacks exist (on both sides) disagreeing with a liberal means you will be quickly branded as a racist, hate-monger, bigot, etc. Keep your eyes open, it happens nearly every time. Liberals can't counter the ideology, so they attack the messenger.

Watch, it'll probably happen in the comments on this very article.

... I hope Kimberly shows up, she'd prove my point quite nicely...
