Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Geffen also call Bill Clinton “a reckless guy” who “gave his enemies a lot of ammunition to hurt him and to distract the country.”

Hillary was outraged at what she called these ‘vicious’ and ‘personal’ attacks against her and her husband by Geffen.

Vicious? Those comments were vicious?

Yes, to Hillary, they were. So, the Clinton camp wasted no time in trotting out Howard Wolfson to once again defend the honor of the heiress apparent and call for Geffen’s head. This time even an apology wouldn’t be enough: Hillary demanded that Obama dump Geffen and return the $1.3 million that he raised for Obama because of Geffen’s negative comments about the frontrunner and her husband.

That would make things a lot easier for Hillary, wouldn’t it? In the world according to Hillary, there’s no place in politics for anyone who doesn’t love her and Bill.

Unfortunately for Hillary, Obama doesn’t seem to be shaking in his boots. In response to Hillary’s tirade, his campaign pointed out her hypocrisy and ignored her ridiculous demands. Obama’s spokesman pointedly refused to get in the middle of a Clinton- Geffen war.

“It is ironic that the Clintons had no problem with David Geffen when he was raising the $18 million and sleeping at their invitation in the Lincoln bedroom. ...It is also ironic that Senator Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina Senator Robert Ford who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because he’s black.”

(Remember Ford: he’s the guy that signed a $200,000 contract with the Clinton campaign right before he endorsed Hillary)

Hillary has never been tolerant of open political debate if that means people can legitimately criticize or publicly disagree with her. Now she’s become even more dogmatic, arrogantly believing that her frontrunner status is tantamount to a coronation. She seems to believe that it is an act of war for a fellow democrat to even challenge her for the nomination. If they disagree with her, they need to be punished and sent to their room.

Watch for more of this imperial behavior. It’s her trademark and it will be the signature of a Hillary Clinton presidency. She learned a thing or two from Richard Nixon.

well said Janet from Tucson
Slick Willie and Shrillary are indeed a well-matched pair... they are equally, shamelessly amoral-- without a moral compass whatsover.

Politics is a strange game... nobody remembers that Ross Perot really got Slick elected [in a two-man race, daddy Bush would have been re-elected]. Then, ironically, the public so repudiated "Hillary care" socialism in '94 that a Republican wave came to Congress and forced Slick to move right, which helped him beat too old/no real message Dole. It was then Republican-driven spending restraint, welfare reform, and emphasis on crime control that helped re-elect Slick and that he would later claim credit for as personal achievements.

Then Shrillary parlayed Slick's serial philandering into a Senate seat! Even a liberal analyst opined: never before has an aggrieved woman turned it into a U.S. Senate seat!

Repub/Con Obsession with Sen. Clinton
Is starting to reach levels of mass hysteria that was associated with her husband, former President clinton. Most of it is being fueled by jealosy and envy. Right wingers would trade places with her in minute if they had the chance.

Truth be told Sen. Clinton itimidates repubs/cons just as her husband did. the bottom line is she is a formidable politician with a ton of money and a political machine behind her, not to mention one of the most brilliant politicians/strategist of modern times in her corner former President Bill Clinton.
They KNOW how to defeat Republicans

I am from Arkansas originally. I am intimately aware of Bill and Hillary Clinton's political track record. I despise Bill Clinton. He is what was known in our neck of the woods as "white trash." It has nothing to do with money and everything to do with character. I detest Hillary but the only way she scares me is that she would be such a disaster as a president that it would set women in politics back by generations. She,as her husband, has no character. They are a perfectly matched pair in that factor. This woman stayed married to a serial adulterer who has continued to slip around one her. She reminds me of the old joke about the rich guy goes up to a beautiful woman. "Would you go to bed with me for $1 million?" She blushes, pauses and says, "Yes." Then he says, "Would you go to bed with for $50?" She glared at him. "What do you think I am??" He answered, "We've established what you are. Now we're just dickering over the price."
