David R. Stokes' Biography

David R. Stokes (www.davidrstokes.com ) is a minister and broadcaster. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of FAIR OAKS CHURCH in Fairfax, Virginia (a href="http://www.fairoakschurch.org">www.fairoakschurch.org ) following previous pastorates in Texas, Illinois, and Long Island, New York.

He works regularly as a frequent guest-host sitting in for Salem Communications talk-show programs in New York City (WMCA), Columbus, Ohio (WRFD), Seattle, Washington (KGNW), and Washington, D.C. (WAVA). His is own weekly show, DAVID STOKES LIVE, has been heard across North America on XM Satellite radio.

He has also shared regular radio commentary on life and culture with features called BELTWAY BLOG and FAIR OAKS FOCUS.

David and his wife, Karen, have been married for more than 32 years and have three daughters, and five grandchildren. They live in Fairfax, Virginia.
