Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Barack Obama, itching to implement his gigantic stimulus package as soon as possible, is dangling the idea of combining his spending package with a tax cut in hopes of securing another kind of stimulus: Republican support for his package. Republicans should remember that when you polish manure, you still have manure.

Obama went to Capitol Hill Monday to promote his stimulus plan of between $675 billion and $775 billion. An estimated 40 percent of the package (between $270 billion and $310 billion) would consist of tax cuts.

Obama strategists say the proposed tax cuts are based on historical and empirical evidence of what works, not ideology. But despite his denials, Obama's intention to target the cuts to the "middle class" and exclude higher-income earners, whose stimulated activity has been shown to have the greatest economic impact, betrays his crippling bondage to ideology.

The lion's share of the relief would involve $500 tax cuts per individual or $1,000 per family for income earners and an equal amount in credits for those who qualify for the "earned-income" credit. But he would phase out those cuts and credits for households with incomes of $200,000 or more, which is inexplicable apart from ideology and class-warfare populism.

Also demonstrating his ideological motivations, Obama's plan envisions short-term relief via one-time tax credits or refunds rather than long-term changes to the tax code. As others have noted, long-term changes are far more effective at stimulating growth because producers and consumers look to the long term in making their investment, hiring and spending decisions.

Cash infusions from rebates or credits, especially with today's sluggish economy and people's uncertainty, could be ineffective because recipients might choose to save the money rather than spend it. That is what happened with the 2008 stimulus bill, as documented in a Heritage Foundation paper by Rea S. Hederman Jr., Stephen Keen and Brian M. Riedl. Only a small part of the rebate checks was spent, with large portions likely saved or used to pay down debt.

The John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush tax cuts, by contrast, all involved reductions in the marginal income tax rates and all empirically stimulated economic growth by incentivizing producers. If Mr. Obama could remove his ideological blinders or shed his class-warfare mentality and truly be guided by "what works" (as he promises), he wouldn't even be thinking about targeted or short-term cuts.

But the other half of Obama's stimulus plan is even more troublesome and probative of Obama's allegiance to ideology rather than empirical and historical evidence. Contrary to most history and economics textbooks, Keynesian pump-priming stimulus packages do not lead to economic growth.

No central planning-type guru is as smart at allocating scarce resources as a free market pricing mechanism. As the Heritage analysts point out, when government spends $1 billion on highways, for example, hiring road builders and purchasing road materials, "It must first tax or borrow $1 billion from other sectors of the economy -- which would then lose a similar number of jobs. In other words, highway spending merely transfers jobs and income from one part of the economy to another."

Though liberals, such as Obama and the vast majority of history textbook authors, have a romantic attachment to FDR, the best evidence is that his New Deal did not end the Great Depression, but exacerbated it.

No one has done a better job in refuting liberal history revisionists and FDR apologists than Burton W. Folsom Jr. in "New Deal or Raw Deal? How FDR's Economic Legacy Has Damaged America."

Almost at the end of FDR's second term, the economy was getting worse, with unemployment at more than 20 percent. Folsom cites the words of FDR's treasury secretary and one-time confidant, Henry Morgenthau Jr., to make his case. These words should serve as a chilling reminder to all politicians even considering jumping on Obama's FDR big-spending bandwagon:

"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong … somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises. … I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. … And an enormous debt to boot."

So when I read that Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell has suggested that Obama's economic stimulus plan could receive "significant support" from Republicans if Democrats would just include Republicans in crafting the legislation, I have to ask, "Are they all Democrats now?"

STIMULUS PACKAGE
Better than Obama's Trillion Dollar boost to the economy...give $1Million to each of the approx. 300,000,000 Americans and we will stimulate the hell out of the economy and save $$$ creating a bigger deficit as well. We could buy health insurance, homes, misc. goodies, cars, fuel, start new businesses, pay off our school loans or go back to school, join a health club and keep in shape...you know, we could do most of what the government enjoys doing on our money. Welfare could be done away with and we would have no homeless. Of course, there would have to be guidelines...no drugs (that ought to help put Mexico out of business), no other addictions...well, there are just so many possibilities that I don't have room for them all here. The last stimulus package didn't work...and I sure don't trust this next one! Of course the bureauracy has always seen fit to confiscate from us and give to others as they choose. We know where the money comes from, but we never know where it goes! It's our money...so give it to us!

Very Few Conservatives Left
The Chosen One aka The Messiah with the glistening pectorals who can do no wrong and walks on water according to many media reporters will save the country from what?
1) Giving out millions of our tax dollars so we can pay for everyone else's kids to get an abortion instead of the parents taking responsibility for their own kids and making the abortion factories a multi-million dollar business at taxpayers expense? Use those millions to create jobs.
2) Franken gave millions to the militant gay rights movement according to news reports even though nobody cares what they do in their bedrooms when that money could be used to keep hospitals open and hospital staff working.
3) Pelosi's irresponsibly spending about $6,000,000 per year jetting back and forth to Washington D.C. at taxpayers expense while that money could be used to keep teachers working.
4) The U.S. Congress should refuse the automatic raises during an economic crisis when people are losing their homes and jobs and food banks are empty and use that money to create jobs.
5) Close the borders and stopping immigrants from coming into our country during war time and during economic crisis which would prevent more foreigners from taking American jobs.
After all, it's the natural U.S. born citizens that paid into this country and everyone else is coming here and going to school and taking our jobs and getting social security, health care, while we are told to sacrifyce and pay more! Perhaps, we should let the liberal democras pay for those programs and the Republican conservatives should all move to Texas and start a new country,

When you find yourself in a hole...
aren't you supposed to stop digging?

When you're broke you're broke. Lifestyle has to change, priority has to change and reality has to be acknowledged.

Been there and done that. Not fun but if you stop digging you can get out of the hole.

Government is still digging. They won't find anything but a bunch of empty pockets of people who were once employers, investors, entrepreneurs, and the employed.

Are they all Democrats? It would appear so.

Impotent Potion No. 29
"Subject: Shadow governments are useless
the people have rejected the GOP...lets see how the Dems work out."

Yes. The Dems. are off to such an AUSPICIOUS start...

Leon Panetta- Director of the CIA, without the intelligence.

Janet Napolitano- Secretary of DHS, when she couldn't even control her own borders.

Chu- Secretary of Energy, who said that gasoline should be at least $8/gal.

Hillary Clinton- SOS, when she has never negotiated any agreement with a foreign country.

George Wallace Reid, who refuses admission of the only African-American to his Throne Room in the Senate Chamber.

I could go on, but I would rather buy 4 years of popcorn.

If there was any silver lining to Hurricane Katrina, I am pleased to know that AQ and other terrorists groups removed NOLA from the "Terrorists Most Wanted List".

My prayers are with the rest of the country.

Shadow Government
We need a Shadow Government away from the corrupt "Beltway Politics".

Here are my choices:

Michael Steele --- President
Thomas Sowell --- Vice President
Walter Williams --- Treasury Secretary
Sarah Palin --- Energy
Chuck Norris --- Secretary of Defense
Bill O'Reilly --- Secretary of State

Any Suggestions on Education, Commerce, Transportation, Attorney General etc

Jefferson and Washington Conversation
Jefferson--There does not pass a week, in which we cannot prove declarations dropping from the monarchical party[the branch of the administration pushing for a central government with massive powers and saying] that our government is good for nothing, is a milk and water thing which cannot support itself, we must knock it down, and set up something of more energy.

Washington's response--- If any were quilty of such nonsense, it would be proof of their insanity.

Here's the thing. These aren't nice words. No one is reaching across the isle to accomodate those they disagree with.

We have a party that is supposed to be for limited, small government. Why are they trying to be like the party that wants massive size and total control(socialism). And on top of that be nice about it. Just say no to niceness. Niceness is evil.

George and Thomas were not.

Ugh we have been dealing with these power hungry people from the start it is high time we squash them forever.

forfeit of fiscal responsibility
The Republicans cannot oppose this -- they supported the costs associated with Iraq -- which are much greater and provide no benefit to the United States (unless you think its a good idea to blow up a bridge in Iraq and then rebuild it). Bush fired Lawrence Lindsey for suggesting that Iraq could cost more than $100,000,000,000. Now we are at more than 10 times that amount. Thanks to the last 8 years, the Republicans cannot be considered fiscally responsible (Ron Paul and a few others still are).

At least some of these things need to be done. Our bridges and roads were not built to last this long -- many need to be rebuilt. Infastructure helps economic grouth -- it makes building a factory attractive.

Are they all Democrats?
Not only are they all Democrats, they are also just as crooked as the liberals. It is a disgrace what these politicians are doing to the people. Throw all the bums out.

Panetta
The Clintons have gutted the CIA again. B. Hussein is letting them have their way.He is a figurehead. With no CIA and Hillary as Sec.State, any crime around the world will be ignored.

Bill has business in many companies worldwide. He has become wealthy 'making speeches' to them. If anyone believes that is what the big bucks are for, they are naive.

To Georgetwin
you state: Steele or Blackwell are the STRONGEST candidates and they can go after The ACORN Acolyte without being tarred as racist.

Blackwell is a liar, cheat, and plain ole jerk. As a former Ohioan, I lived with his crap long enough.
Now Steele.....ahhhh. Now you are making sense. But it is near sacrilege to put both in the same sentence. Blackwell isn't worthy to lick Steele's boots.

The Andrew Cuomo Legacy

"There are as many starting points for the mortgage meltdown as there are fears about how far it has yet to go, but one decisive point of departure is the final years of the Clinton administration, when a kid from Queens without any real banking or real-estate experience was the only man in Washington with the power to regulate the giants of home finance, the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), better known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Andrew Cuomo, the youngest Housing and Urban Development secretary in history, made a series of decisions between 1997 and 2001 that gave birth to the country's current crisis. He took actions that—in combination with many other factors—helped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded "kickbacks" to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why."

Another Obama friend deserting

Hugo Chavez - darling of Liberals - announced Monday, January 5, 2009 that he was “temporarily” suspending its oil donations for the low-income program based in Massachusetts.

Citgo will yank $100 million in support for the nonprofit Citizens Energy.

Hundreds of thousands of needy Americans in 23 states and on Indian reservations will have to go elsewhere to get heating fuel, because Citizens no longer has the resources, spokesman Joe Kennedy said.

He also announced that 20 employees would be laid off from Citizens Energy, immediately.

I'm not looking for Obama voters to get quiet over their goof. I expect a million of them to march on DC to correct that goof.

Worthless Politicians
When will the public ever realize that Congress, politics and politicians are about the art of lying and looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy.

We are expecting a bunch of lawyer to fix our economy, when was the last time a blood-sucking lawyer ever did anything for someone else without reaping their own reward at 33% to 40% from the judgment? Congress is no different.

Experienced Appointees
B.Hussein has allowed the Clintons to select his cabinet, apparently. The Clinton Machine protected them from being charged with many criminal acts. The Machine will have their work cut out for them in this administration.

As for Panetta not having experience...he has much more experience than B.Hussein does. Also,it is important that they know the scuttlebutt all over the world.

Panetta doesn't need to know as long as 'The Machine' knows. Keep him in the dark. The Clinton/Obama Administration will rule the world!!

David Limbaugh
writes, "I have to ask, "Are they all Democrats now?" "

Of course not. However, the color of the jerseys do not accurately reflect any difference in ideology. If you had said, Are they all liberals now, I would have said, of course, not. Just 95% of them but, that is quite a majority in a democratic republic. My own representatives fall into the minority and are routinely condemned and ostracized for their heresy. Inhofes recent opponent appealed to the fact that he doesn't believe the global warming scaremongering and should therefore be removed from office. He was reelected by a comfortable margin.

Why is it always a 'White Democrat'?

Why is it always a 'White Democrat' that stands in the doorway denying entrance to a 'Black American?

Harry Reid and his Klan of 50.

Harry Reid made it clear to Gov. Blagojevich, a few days before the good Governor was charged with trying to sell the Obama Senate seat that he did NOT want Jesse Jackson, Jr., Danny Davis or Emil Jones (all black).

"Inside Sources say the Senate majority leader pushed against Jackson and Davis -- both democratic congressmen from Illinois -- and against Jones -- the Illinois Senate president who is the political godfather of President-elect Barack Obama -- because he did not believe the three men were electable."

Reid accomplished the almost impossible

Harry Reid has accomplished the 'Almost Impossible' feat of having less regard for the law, less responsibility and likability than Rod Blagojevich.

Liberal political incompetence is breathtaking.

To add to the laughter, Reid discussed the Senate appointment with Blogo. There were three women, 2 white, 1 Asian, and three men, all black discussed. Reid REFUSED to agree to ANY of the men. Now, which party is the big tent party?

The Chinese were right about the present age in America, we ARE living in interesting times!

However, with Panetta as head of the CIA, Holder as Attorney General, Napolitano as Homeland Security head, Hillary as Secretary of State (who's EVER accused Hillary Clinton of being DIPLOMATIC), and other unqualified Democrats holding positions of power, plenty of liberals living in our major liberal-dominated cities may soon find themselves not living in ANY times AT ALL!

Idealogical Vacuum
David: In answer to your question "are they all Democrats now?" The answer is a very sad yes and many that aren't already closet liberals seem to be trying to be.

I watched, very briefly (I had to leave the room to hug the porcelain princess) the RNC debate.
A. It was a kiddies "T-Ball" match. No substance, no contest, they are all equally inept by any measure from this venue.

B. The idea that there should be NO Republican Policy part to the committee is absolute nonsense. To say that the only purpose of the RNC is to see to the election of Republicans and do so in a Policy Vacuum is just plain idiotic.

Couple this kind of thinking with McCain like inability to fight and articulate a core Republican mantra and we will never again see a Republican (Conservative) in any federal office ever again.

We have Al Franken possibly heading for the senate, along with Caroline Kennedy, who both are mainly famous for being famous. Leon Pannetta at the CIA, Hillary for sec. State, and so on...

Either way we need a MASTER Chess/Poker Player as Head of The GOP to EXPLOIT this plethora of scandals. Steele or Blackwell are the STRONGEST candidates and they can go after The ACORN Acolyte without being tarred as racist.

Georgetwin, GunnyG, Summers et al
Right now the Republican I most want to see "grow a set" is Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty. I don't know whether he'll be able to ultimately stop Al Franken from taking a seat in the Senate - but he should at least TRY.

And GunnyG, as I posted the other day, if Franken DOES wind up taking a seat in the U.S. Senate, he may wind up helping the conservative cause a lot more than Norm Coleman could in that seat. Remember how gleeful we were last year over Barack Obama taking on human foot-in-mouth disease Joe Biden as his running mate? Well, Franken could be Biden SQUARED! I can only IMAGINE the things that are going to come out of Franken's mouth if he's in the U.S. Senate - and the more I think about it, the more tempting it becomes to hope he wins the seat. Franken could be to the Senate Democrats what Cynthia McKinney, after 9/11, became to House Democrats: a never-ending source of embarassment (assuming it's possible for Beltway Democrats to still be ABLE to feel embarassment, which is debatable in itself).

And LEON PANETTA as head of the CIA?! If I were living in a big liberal-dominated city that Islamic terrorists would love to hit (New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, L.A., etc.), I don't think I'd be sleeping too well at night about THAT prospect!

It is amazing that Obama, being the Constitutional scholar that he is, fell in line with Harriet Reid on this one. Did U.S. Atty. Fitzgerald jump the gun or jump the shark on the Blogo matter? In either event, will it prevent Obama from replacing him as soon as he is sworn in Jan. 20th? After all, that's what Presidents do, replacing U.S. Attorneys. Would it prevent a Chicago political meltdown?

Gunny, George, Stand, Jack
Reading your comments, it is quite apparent that you regret that Bill Richardson is free to grow his lounge lizard beard back; but, look at the positives - Leon Panetta is going to head up the CIA. That's the ticket to the future. Appoint a guy with no experience and no clue whatsoever!

All well and good, but WHEN is a GOP Senator, ANY GOP Senator, going to grow a set and go after The Liberals about Burris, Franken, etc.

GunnyG, Georgetwin, et al
I hope neither Rezko NOR Blagojevich "go away quietly" - or for that matter, Mr. Burris as well. I have to believe that both Rezko and Blagojevich "know where the bodies are buried", so to speak - and are prepared to make deals to save themselves, and a huge headache of themselves for their fellow Democrats if their fellow Democrats try to cut the rug out from under them. And even though admittedly the election of Obama WOULD make it more difficult for Burris to play the race card against his own fellow Democrats if they deny him a Senate seat, I hope he tries it nonetheless - and constantly resurrects the ghost of Adam Clayton Powell to boot.

What did Jesus say about "Satan divided against Satan"?

Since you're busy trying to revise history to suit your own fantasies, let me help you out a bit sdf.

Bush lowered taxes FOR EVERYONE. They were called Across the Board tax cuts for a reason you dolt. The number of americans who pay NO Taxes went from 16% to 40% under Bush.

By the way, when you say that most people just saved or paid down debt with the 2008 stimulus and in doing so it did not help the economy but that is not true under regular circumstances.
By saving money it goes into investments or banks and those in turn use that money in the economy. However, the banks "were" probably holding onto it because they knew that hard times were coming.
Generally though even saving or investing is stimulating the economy, the money doesn't just sit in a vault.

GunnyG, GTwin, RGeek, renny et al
It’s occurred to me that we're seeing something that's practically a first for today's Democratic Party: a scandal and the appearance of corruption that's so blatant that even DEMOCRATS can’t defend or rationalize it.

This is, after all, the same party that has given an honored place to such people as Edward Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Michael Moore, and Al Sharpton, among others - all of whose well-chronicled behaviour hasn't seemed in the past to be too over the line for the Democratic Party. So why have Democrats suddenly "gotten religion" regarding Rod Blagojevich - who after all hasn't been even INDICTED for anything yet (gee, isn't that the standard defense Democrats use to excuse the behaviour of one of their own, although never extended to Republicans of course, that their behaviour hasn't yet been determined to be a criminal offense)? I didn't think there was ANYTHING a professed Democrat could do that was considered beyond the pale to his fellow Democrats anymore. Yet here Blagojevich hasn't even been INDICTED for anything, and already his FELLOW DEMOCRATS are talking impeachment.

The biggest question I have about all this is how, if the Senate Democrats refuse to seat Mr. Burris and he starts screaming "racism" or some other inflammatory excuse, Democrats are going to blame the GOP for the denial of a Senate seat to a man who would otherwise be at present the only African-American to be a member of the U.S. Senate. Yep, I'm sure the Democratic Party solons are having to tap the full measure of their creativity right now to figure out a way to pacify potentially angry Illinois blacks (and those in other states as well) over the denial of a Senate seat to one of their own - especially given the decisive control the Dems now have in the Senate - by finding some way to con them into believing that it was really REPUBLICANS who were the reason Burris didn't become a sitting U.S. Senator. I'll be watching for it!

Reaching across the aisle
Republicans are so considerate, handing our wallets across the aisle so the Democrats don't have to make any effort.

Welcome to the readership. Be sure to put your comments in. We can use some people who use common sence. You will find that most of us are not Republicans - we are conservatives. There is a big difference the liberals can't seem to understand. The trouble is that most politicians are either Democrats or Republicans, not conservatives. Even the Democrats tend to be liberal fanatics rather than just liberals.

Again, hello and welcome.

gunny
whats that the new math?

The Rich Pays????
I wonder if Obama and his friends such as Kennedy will be willing to pick up the tab. Somehow I seriously doubt it.

Throughout history (here or elsewhere) the rich always give themselves the tax breaks while going to the middle class to cover all the taxes. I can't see it changing now. I saw a brief copy of Obama's tax bill for last year recently. Did anyone note the tax he paid? And the percentage of tax per his total income? Somehow it doesn't compare to my form.

GunnyG
I read your blog and couldn't stop laughing. Even though I'm independent I really can't comprehend the liberal mindset. I love your posts and even though I consider myself a pretty decent satirical writer, I would recommend you write a book.

Since the beginning.
Samuel Adams: "The Utopian schemes of leveling (redistribution of wealth) and a community of goods (centralized ownership of production and distribution of goods) are as visionary and impractical as those which vest all property in the Crown. [These ideas] are arbitrary, despotic, and, in our government unconstitutional."(The Life and Public Services of Samuel Adams, 1865)

"If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretense of taking care of them, they must become happy." (Thomas Jefferson, The writings of Thomas Jefferson)

new to town hall
Hey all. As my first post I'd thought I'd say a little something something.

I'm fresh out of college, independent, and sad for most of my friends who voted for Obama. Don't worry, conservatives, unlike most of the uninformed voters I actually took an initiative and looked into the candidates. Obama's senate record consists of "PRESENT."

This spending bailout is ridiculous. Next thing you know Pelosi will spend a cool $1 million on her freaky expressionless botoxed thing on her neck she calls a face. Does Congress actually know how much we hate them right now. I was telling my friends we should have a national punch a politician day. I'm sure many of you like me would start with those two.

Oops.
My bust. The Halfrican is 1/2 white, 3/8 Arab and 1/8 black.

HEADLINE TODAY!
White racist Democrats kick Burris to the curb.

Will blacks finally jump liberal plantation?

GunnyG
Hal Drunkahue may have to fight Ted Kennedy for that job.

You and whose army
Actually, the Halfrican taking office is only 1/8th black.

He's 50% white, 7/8 Arab, and 1/8 black.

So in all actuality, he can be called chimp, ape, baboon since it was good enough for Bush.

I prefer calling him Odumbo the Jug Eared Clown, the organ grinder's monkey for Soros.

Georgetwin
HAHA! Hal Drunkahue would better serve the nation as the head of the FDA, taste-testing all of the new booze coming out for our safety!

Oregon Tree Hugger
Libtards have be calling President Bush a Chimp for 8 years.

WHY was this OK?

Are Libtards prejudiced against different apes?

GunnyG
Plugs Biden should go see a Braodway Revival of HAIR!

BWA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!

Georgetwin
Did you know that racists have been calling blacks "Baboons," "monkeys," and "apes," for quite some time now?

And here you probably thought you were being creative.

RetiredGeek
Of course not, WE THE PEOPLE will pay their taxes through higher prices. That is if they have time in between SCANDALS to raise taxes. LMAO! HIC!

Where is Hal Drunkahue with his Ethically Challenged Conservative Bravo Sierra NOW that the EARS are coming off of Baboon Hopey McChange.

BTW, didn’t Plugs Biden say paying MORE taxes is PATRIOTIC? Now The ACORN Acolyte is talking about lowering taxes.

The Liberals seem to be channeling Yogi Berra, “When you come to a fork in the road, TAKE IT!”

Ecomony
Unless the people deny themselfs and treat people like should be.When I grew up 50s &60s this was a GOD FEARING COUNTY. We will never have an ecomony; as long as we give to the evil people, like plan parent hood & the aclu abortion and pronography.150,000,000,000 dollars are spend in one year are spend on this on subject alone. As long as evil exists GOD can honor people who do these thing. GODs eyes are ten times stronger than the sun. Clarence from Minnesota

It wasn't so much the war itself (which DID get our industrial infrastructure up-and-running again) but the aftermath, where we emerged as the the largest (and intact) industrial force on the planet. Our factories, at this point, were all ready to receive new tooling and start cranking out consumer goods at an unparalleled pace. Our internal infrastructure was undamaged by the war, which was not the case of any other modern competitor; most industrialized nations were in shambles.
So you see, it wasn't so much the types of goods produced during the war that relieved the depression as the worldwide economic situation and our own status in it. The playing field had changed in our favor.

Georgetwin et al

The 'Really Rich' will pay NO taxes - they haven't in a long time.

The BVS wants the 'Really Rich' and those making a $100,000 or less - the rest will be destroyed so that Marxist/Obama can finalize his plan of Obamunism.

To paraphrase P.J. Rourke 'Obamunism is just Marxism by the drink'.

Happy new year
We can all talk the talk, but it is obvious this administration will spend, spend, and spend. We are headed toward Socialism, and Americans will eventually get used to a handout. Talk to an average person, and they will all agree that the government giving them a check is wonderful. Remember, force feeding usually works.

RetiredGeek
I wonder if THE POOR on The South Side of Chicago have any idea of The Net Worth of Baboon Hopey McChange, Rev Wrong and their other “benefactors”.

Obama's plan is all about

Obama's plan is all about destroying the middle class. That has ALWAYS been his plan.

The Black Value System at TUCC
------------------------------
"We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

"Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System."

Denise @10:33 am

Marx and Engels were dead set against having a strong middle class.

Black Separatist 'Theology' is dead set against a strong middle class.

Obama and his Mentor Wright are dead set against a strong middle class as declared in point 8 of the TUCC platform:
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness".

Why no middle class?

Harder to conduct 'class envy and struggle' which is the lifeblood of Marxism/Socialism.

We can
dream all we want about tax reform but it will never happen with this corrupt bunch of lying
pusillanimous nincompoops in control (and that includes all the DemonRAT lite's infesting the GOP, and the submissive dog Repubs that roll over and pee on themselves whenever a DemonRat growls or just gives them a look). The power to tax is the power to control to paraphrase a Founder. They WILL NOT give up this power because it gets them votes with their bread and circuses to the ones who refuse to produce and pretty soon there won't be enough producers to
be effective to protest and vote against these
sewer rats we refer to as "honorable" Rep/Sen.
Remember there is NO honor among thieves and we have a majority infesting our government.

SIMPLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE
INDEED. WHERE IS MY PARTY ? WHERE DID IT GO ?

ITS OBVIOUS ISN'T IT ? THE DEMS CONTROL NEW ENGLAND AND NY FOR MANY MANY YEARS TO COME JUST AS THEY ONCE DOMINATED THE SOUTH AND MAY DO SO AGAIN.............CERTAINLY THE STATES WITH ALL,I REPEAT ALL.....LARGE CITIES IN THIS COUNTRY HAVE NO CHANCE EVER OF CAPTURING THEIR VOTE.........ITS NOT AT ALL RED STATE BLUE STATE WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET IT......ITS METRO-SUBURBS VS. RURAL AND THEIR SIMPLY IS NOT ENOUGH OF US IN RURAL AMERICA TO SWING THE BALANCE..........WHY HAS THIS ALL HAPPENED.

HOW CAN ONE COMPETE WITH LET EVERY ONE IN THIS COUNTRY LEGAL OR NOT FOR THEY WILL BE DEMS, PROMISE THEM FREE FOOD & MEDICAL AND EVERYTHING A CITIZEN HAS.......OH SURELY INCLUDE VOTING.
YOU ADD THAT TO THE FACT THAT EVERY ILL INFORMED PERSON IN THIS VERY LARGE COUNTRY HAS NO MAJOR MEDIA ON TV OTHER THAN FOX TO BEAT THE DRUMS FOR THE DEMS DAY IN DAY OUT FOREVER..UNTIL THIS IS FIGURED OUT MY COUNTRY IS DONE.......IM SO OLD I CAN REMEMBER ALL OF AMERICAN SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS AND A WAR. THE PARTY MUST FACE UP TO THESE TRUTHS AND DOUBTLESS CONTINUE LOOSING FOR SOMETIME BUT DO SO WITH HONOR AND TOGETHER AND MAYBE SOMEDAY IN THE FAR FUTURE THE COUNTRY WILL AGAIN COME TOGETHER AS ONE.......IT MIGHT HELP IF WE HAD ONE NATIONAL LANGUAGE AND EMIGRATS ASSIMULATED OR IS THAT OFFENSIVE TOO. ?

Flat tax
Rich, poor, and your dog all pay the same.

One huge problem with the socialist progressive tax code is nearly 50% pay nothing and get tax credits for child care, college, job upgrading, etc.

And Gunny is right that the very wealthy, who do not have *earned* income, they can often pay very little in actual taxes, as they have little income.

Also, taxing the very wealthy usually results in unintended consequences. In 1993, Clinton taxed marinas and yachts. Instead of more taxes, we just got bankrupted marinas and yacht makers. People just didn't buy them or use the services any more. Just like increases in liquor and cigarette taxes often result in more bootlegging and smuggling, but the pols. never learn.

My Sentiments Entirely
I ask myself this very simple question. Why should I support a party, which is just a "lite" version of the democratic party?

Conservatives had their chance
to control the economy, and they screwed the pooch. Now the liberals are in control, and they'll get their chance. Or as Rove liked to say, "Elections have consequences."
Don't worry... If liberal screw up, they'll no doubt start whining that Obama wasn't really liberal enough... just like conservatives are doing to explain away the failures of the Bush administration.
Your ideology was discredited. With the exception of the 30% America that is hard-core conservative, no one cares what you say!
Go into hibernation until the Obama administration ruins the economy, loses an American city, and gets bogged down in two wars.

GunnyG
Baboon Hopey McChange continues to AMAZE with his STUPIDITY! Panetta for CIA?!?!?!? Why not Hal Drunkahue for ATF and The Grateful Dead Fan Club President for Drug Czar. The ACORN Acolyte WILL somehow or another work Welfare Checks for THE POOR into this pot of Kim Chi he calls Economic Stimulus. Like David Limbaugh said, you can’t polish a turd.

Gunny & others
I haven't heard much about it lately but, there were rumblings about taking the cash from the 401k's and issuing social security bonds whatever that is. I have very little doubt this will still be tried. This among other things could cause real trouble. This is ONE reason I moved everything from my 401k into an IRA that I can cash out very quickly if I want. I am old enough that I pay no penalty. Only taxes. When I moved it I took out enough to pay off my home and most debts. Getting ready for the coming financial armageddon. At least I will be able to keep a roof over my head.

Re: Congress????
You know if I were sitting in Congress and ANYTHING, ANYTHING that came across my desk that was sponsored by a Demo. I would vote NA!!!
The reason being that these people don't think the American people are not very smart and consider them children and also there will be so much pork added to these bills that it will break the American tax payers' back!!! But this is just my opinion!!!

Necessary Evil/Unnecessary Evil
The core government jobs are military, police, fire/rescue, and the related law enforcement/ national security type jobs. (Can’t list all core jobs)

The rest of the government jobs are the government trying to drag us into other people’s bedrooms to pay for the sins/ misdeeds of others.

It’s like being on the Jerry Springer show and having to be held accountable for what the other people do with their bodies just because you take your body to work and none of the Jerry Springer Guest can rub two nickels together to support the government programs they vote for.

Mob rule is never a pretty picture.

You’re a witch.
There is no such thing as witches.
That’s what all witches say.
Burn the witch…..

The Real Low-Down on Taxes...
For all of you chiming in about the fairness of taxing the "rich" and "Spreading the Wealth"...

You have to understand that INCOME and WEALTH are two very different animals.

Income comes from what you EARN.
Wealth is what you already have.

Some of us have enough "wealth" that we can avoid paying taxes altogether, unless we take dividends or have capital gains, which are taxed at a lower rate.

For instance, if I decided to either work and accept a salary under $200K, I would pay NO taxes. If I just live on my principal, then I pay NOTHING. So, "Spreading the Wealth" is a joke and the Government cannot get around the "Takings Clause". Even if you argue some form of Emminent Domain issue, the government still MUST pay just compensation. The only "just compensation" for a $1 is a $1.

How do you think wealth accumulated? How do families like the Kennedy's pay little, if any, taxes? We have good Estate Planners and CPAs.

This "class warfare" krap is a red-herring. Accumulated wealth will remain exactly where it is, now. Unfortunately, the families with a few kids and live in high cost-of-living states, like New York, but have no accumulated wealth will get screwed.

"Spreading the Wealth" will only create two classes: the rich and the poor. The "Middle Class" will have kissed their a$ses goodbye.

Ron
You are right on the money. We've already moved our money to accounts less likely to be hit by Obamanation's redistribution of OPM plan.

JFK...Reagan...Bush...Tax Cuts
The engine of growth for the JFK era was demand.

Reagan was forced to sign some of the biggest tax increases in US history.

Bush's tax cuts have yet to pay for themselves.

Economic theory
So the theory goes that World War II somehow solved the economic problems. Does that not imply that spending money on expendibles such as guns and ammunition is somehow better than spending money on permanent improvements such as roads and bridges? That just does not compute. Who can we believe? Politicians, political commentators, economists, religious leaders, anyone ...?

GunnyG #25
Dumbo can do it by repealing all the hidden indirect taxes that everybody pays everytime something is bought, and replace them with a single tax to collect all tax revenue-see #36. Unfortunately, he won't do this. He plans to increase these taxes in number and in rate.

a plan that would work
cut taxes by 15% for everyone, rich or poor. for those middle class or poor who pay no income tax, cut the payroll tax by 15%. How do we pay for it. Cut govt spending by 15% at the same time. you would see this economy explode!

Indy, you are right
TH and other Reps. should stop bashing the GOP, bragging how you don't or won't vote, and start supporting the cons. we have in office and work for more.

McConnell won't support Big Bro O if you tell him you don't want any more non-stimulus junk and do want a balanced budget and more gov't disinterest in business, so it can get back to work.

Blogging here without contacting DC does not get a message through. Write, fax, phone, email, but harry Cong. to oppose this juggernaut for spending and debt. The entire country of Iceland is bankrupt. It can happen anywhere, with 9 trillion in debt, a failing Medicare and Medicaid, 39 trillion in unfunded Soc. Sec. obligation, this condition cannot go on.

You can stop it. But it won't happen from whining.

sdf
When was the last time a poor man gave you a job?

All Democrats now?
Yeah they are and you guys are pretty much marginal now. Seeing as youre a regional party, what makes you think you have any influence on national policy? The U.S. just voted in the most liberal candidate for president ever, and also stacked the House and Senate with "the most liberal group of candidates ever". The country isn't even center left anymore, its left.

Obama Obesity
Morton Kondracke’s Column says BHO could prod citizens to get into better shape.
He could come up with a program to get the people to stop being obese.
Let’s look at his most likely program to fat reduction:
After HE puts the oil, coal, iron, and steel industries out of business, along with all the industries that use oil, coal, iron, and steel, there won’t be any jobs paying salaries to buy food.
After HE and Algore eminent domain all the farmland and cover it with solar panels, there won’t be anyplace to grow food, so no food to buy.
Obesity won’t be a problem for the people, just starvation, which will solve the problem of over-population.
Liberals in government, being the only ones allowed to have food from the hydroponic garden under Mount Rushmore, will thrive.

The Ultimate Stimulus
We the people pay all taxes, and we are the only ultimate source of all tax revenue. Regardless where government initially collects the money, all tax money ultimately comes from us, the people, even though business has to pay thousands or millions of dollars at one time, and get it back from us one dollar at a time.
Since we the people are the one and only source of all tax revenue:
There should be only one tax to collect all tax revenue.
It should be a single, simple, fair, direct, graduated, individual, full-income tax levied on living persons for each level of government: One Tax and Done.
The best thing that government can do to help the country, the people, and even government, is to repeal all of the many hundreds, or thousands of existing taxes, fees, and charges. These taxes are the federal deficit. These taxes are the high price of everything. These tax eliminations are spending cuts. Every tax that is eliminated is a tax that we the people no longer have to pay. These taxes are the difference between the price we pay for health care and everything else, and the price we would pay if these taxes were repealed. Eliminating these taxes will remove them from the price paid for everything by everyone, including government.
One Tax and Done will provide many benefits to all, even government:
One Tax and Done will reduce the price paid for everything by one-third

Are you kidding me?
"But he would phase out those cuts and credits for households with incomes of $200,000 or more, which is inexplicable apart from ideology and class-warfare populism."

So when the rich get tax cuts and the middle class and poor don't, it's okay. But when the middle class and poor get tax cuts, its class-warfare populism. Haha, no wonder you guys are marginalized to the land-locked south. Giving money to people who are going to spend it is bad, but giving it to the rich who will just sit on it is great guys! Trust me!

indyconantidim
I can just see Obambi calling for "more power" on the sewage pump like Kirk calling for more power from Scotty! haha.

"We're being swamped with the crap from Daley's cesspool! MORE POWER Leon.

Note to libs: Don't select empty suits. It is never pretty.

Not synonymous
Cutting income and spending wealth.

Then again Republicans have always joined in with a healthy hurray, because it is fiscally conservative on one hand. Let the other hand collect from the coffers.

True conservatives believe in cutting income and cutting spending. Allowing Americans to spend with their Liberty.

Of course are there any true conservatives anymore that believe in liberty?

Nee
No doubt! haha. But it's funny that liberals are too stupid to pick someone who KNOWS the IC (Intel Community) and instead, picks a political hack. Evidently, they failed to learn the Reno/Gorelick lesson.

Gunny
He obviously was pleased how Leon did the side step while working with slick Willie, BJ Clinton. Judging from his Blago and Rahm handlings he will need it.

Guns
Picking Panetta had less to do with his experience in Intel as opposed to the heavy hand he can wield by saying,"I are the boss! Youse better listen to me!"

Truth?
I think you have David confused with his brother, Rush as far as incomes go. But they wouldn't be where they are if they didn't have facts in their corner. He stated very clearly that there is a history with Kennedy and Reagan to go with Bush's tax cuts and the results. He also stated they were to the rates so that there wouldn't be constant tinkering which will never stimulate anybody with a brain and know politicians.

This all comes down to a massive bureaucratic blob that dims absolutely will not now or ever manage but in fact want to grow so that the pmm can make sure they're the ones that need to manage it. And the GOP are the naysayers and cold blooded money racists that have to be scourged from this helping hand organization. I'm sure you're children will be grateful for not only feeding the blob but growing it 1000 times itself.

THE JUG EARED CLOWN
picks PANETTA to head the CIA? Is this the same guy who stated that he had NO IDEA Bubba was porking a fat ugly intern in the Oval Office for years?

This is who they want as an INTEL CHIEF?

They'd do better picking Bozo the Clown.

This is what happens libs, when you elect an empty suit man-child.

To all conservatives
This is not a time to keep bashing the GOP. If they're dim lite than the hard core and fence riding dims are even worse. There are conservatives in Congress that need to be promoted. In addition McConnell and Boehner need to be contacted by as many as possible to stop this madness.

Instead of voting Libertarian or third party get involved in your district and get a solid conservative nominated. We have to fight the pmm (Propaganda Media Machine) and their hordes of illiterates for 2010.

BTW ALL
Swing by the Anti Liberal Zone for an essay on the Limo Libs in La-La Land. Hint: Chock full of liberal hypocrites.

Can ANY Libstain
out there tell me HOW Odumbo the Jug Eared Clown can promise a 95% tax cut when 40% of Americans DO NOT pay ANY taxes and indeed, get a check Back via EIC?

LIB COMMIES
are back in the Politboro today, led by Red Nanny Piglosi, the ancient hollow-eyed ex-hippie. Wonderful.

First order of business?

Excerpt: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation. Pelosi’s proposals are so draconian, and will so polarize the Capitol, that any thought President-elect Obama has of bipartisan cooperation will be rendered impossible before he even takes office.

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=30143

HAHA! Piglosi is gonna spank the snot-nosed punk around!

This is blip on our radar screen gets better and better. Rezko singing, Blago signing, and Odumbo gets grilled by the Feds for TWO HOURS over it all!

loving it.

Yes
Well almost all. Is it just that their so power hungry that they violate their oath to uphold the Constitution? Is there anyone in Republican leadership that has honestly read the Constitution? It seems unlikely as Article 1, Section 8 sharply limits and clearly defines the boundaries of Congress, and I challenge anyone to show me any such creature as bailouts, economic stimulus, Medicare, Medicaid, HUD, Dept. of Ed., Social Security, and so on and so on and so on. This is why I'm ready to bolt for either the Libertarian Party or the Constitution Party if by 2010 the GOP leadership doesn't make dramatic, radical changes in what they offer.Get ready people, 2010 or busto Republican Party.

Less spending
I'm a deficit hawk, and what we ought to do is spend less, including things like Medicare and Medicaid. Combine that with a tax cut for all, and this recession won't be as traumatic.

But I suspect we'll have 9% unemployment by late 2009, and the accompanying whines from the liberals.

WAKE UP !!!!!!!!
The President- elect has been campaigning on this issue for over 2 years !!!!!!!! McCain and Palin campaigned AGAINST it - and LOST.

This is pitiful
We'll all get 500 to a 1000 dollars even those who pay no taxes and already get kickbacks in the earned income tax credit. But these are a one-time deal nothing that will stimulate anyone to make future plans then in 2010 middle classtaxpayers will face increased taxes of 2 to 15 thousand dollars when they let the Bush tax cuts expire -- wow Obama really is the smartest man ever.

If you choose to actually spend the money buy guns or incandescent light bulbs etc.

Not just ideology
guides this stimulous package. It is about politics and which group of voters will be helped and thus vote for their benefactors. Good economics is not a factor!!

Americans do not know how to get through hard times and suffer short term pain or at least politicians think they don't have the grit to wait this out while the market adjusts so government having caused problems by meddling in the markets is set to do some more meddling. At the same time, they want to protect voters from any discomfort or pain. Freud always said there is no growth without pain.

Parents...tell your kids they can't have
Wii's, iphones, and guitar hero and stuff like that, because of the bailouts and their money's already spent.

Tell them the government, under PEBO, is going to spend all their "extras" money courtesy of bailouts and stimulis' packages.

We'll see how well that goes over in upcoming elections...Start telling them now...you can't spend more than you have.

Apollo/truthhertz
UNLESS either of you refused to accept the "stimulus checks/payments peso Jorge sent out you aint got no reason to complain. I don't like the way things are going either. But, I took the money. So, I can't complain about that. There are plenty of other things to whine about.

Learning
I know it doesn't sound plausible, but think it is good that so many liberal nut-cases read at TH since even dumb people learn to feed themselves. Maybe some of you can learn analysis and basic logic.

No stimulus at any time anywhere
They don't stimulate and merely cost us more debt.

McConnel and Reps. should oppose this *stimulus* krap the way the House opposed the first fraud last summer.

That $700 billion to *save* us from frozen credit has turned into a slush fund for Dem. pet interest groups.

The biggest requests from mayors for *infrastructure* development are for tennis courts and sports stadiums. Some infrastructure.

As people lose houses and jobs and pensions, the DC idiots still pretend the band can play on as if we were in a boom with a surplus.

Franken has stolen MN and every cons. should send money to Coleman, like him or not, to keep the libs. from stealing the entire country.

FDR ADMITS NEW DEAL FAILED
When Morganthau confessed before the House Ways and Means Committee about the failure of the New Deal to end the Depression he was speaking for FDR and the entire Administration. Knowing that the New Deal was a failure FDR continued it nonetheless because it was a political gold mine and would get him reelected in 1940.

In 1941 a high school teacher, part of a group that was visiting the White House, asked FDR what was the best economic theory; having been through eight full years of the failed New Deal FDR replied "there is no such thing as a proven economic theory."

Mitch McConnel
by his support of bailouts and stimulus is just one of many CINOs who must be thrown under the bus. This country is being killed by debt. Unfunded entitlements will have an enormous effect on increasing debt. "Stimulus" is just another way of saying debt. Inflation is on the way. Prepare now. For the poor, the unskilled and those in debt, its already too late.

Time For Mohammed Atta II
The whole Congress needs to be destroyed.

Keep the $300B in tax cuts since you idiots want to use it as a trade-off to spend upwards of $700B on makework. Our off-book national debt, which includes Social Security and Medicaid, is anywhere from $56T to $75T. We need to stop spending money that we don't have when we owe a staggering amount now.

For all Ds & Rs, who vote for this cr@p, I hope that you can read my middle finger, as well as those of my sons and any unborn heirs, from here!

A sheep in wolves clothing...WELFARE!!!
Obama's tax cuts and stimulus package is nothing more than welfare. There are very few Conservatives left in the party, we are now reaping everything we were suppose to be against. I am in hope that once we get beat up (even more) perhaps someone in the party will have enough gravitas to stand up and say enough is enough. The Bush blame game for all our disasters (including the worlds) is already getting old and they have only just began. Unlimited spending is not a plan at all, its a sheep in wolves clothing. Everyone on both sides are easily swayed to point fingers, no one has ever taken responsibility for the lack of governing. Now we have hired a man with no productive experience, who is now hiring others with no productive experience. This is in all reality, not much of a problem for true conservatives to overcome in upcoming elections in a few years, providing of course we have someone in the party who will stand on strict conservatism. After all the Libs are giving us all the meat we need to defeat them. We will not be able to keep up as a country with the Obama tax plans. Most Americans want change,in their pocket, not in the governments.People will find out soon enough that Obama is not a Messiah, he's just another corrupt thug Lib from Chicago.

TAX CUT?
barry's still just campaigning.
$500.00 dollars?
Remember, barrys other half sneered at the $600.00, initially returned to taxpayers saying it would only be enough for a pair of earrings.
If Americans had any sense (which obviously the majority as well as the Republicans in our government, do not) we would tell barry and his band of bandits to keep their $500.00 per middle class taxpayer and make Bushs tax cuts permanent. But no, barrys feet will be kissed for the $500.00 and then we'll all be wholloped by the automatic tax increases come 2010.

The whole ship is going down.
The dollar will enter hyperinflation like a banana republic currency during the Obama administration. And the GOP will play right along as our savings and our incomes dry up and blow away in a gigantic economic dust bowl.

On the bright side:

Americans tend to be smart, productive and biased toward individual freedom. As this catastrophe looms, the amount of arable acreage in the country won't change a bit. The amount of available talent won't change. The available labor won't change.

What will change is our illusions about what Big Government Can Do For You.

If we play this thing right then after a generation of severe pain we can go back to our constitution finally and leave the liberal hacks in the dumpster when this all plays out.

David
Perhaps if and when Republicans get elected again, you will get to influence policy.
But since you didn't do a good job when you had the ball, sit back and watch until it's your turn again. You will make more money with Dems in charge so keep on mudslinging. You're a one trick pony.

Don't Worry your Pretty Little head ....
over this. Norm Coleman busted his butt for nothing the last two months. RINOs like McCain and Spector will rise to the occasion to be "bi-partisan" and "extend a hand accross the isle" on this issue and many more to come in the next two years. Monitor it, watch closely for it, record and document every left-wing/RINO move, then find someone with courage and solid conservative principles to begin to undo the MESSIAH's Obamination.

Are they all democrat now?
yes

Answer the question: Are you too stupid to realize that you are banned every weekday morning for a reason?

Throwing rocks, right on schedule!
Let's see...It took 1...2....3 seconds for Limbaugh to provide opposition to,uh, TAX CUTS!...What's HIS solution??..Well, we all know that pundits and talkers are not interested in solutions, they only care about ideology..Well, they'll comprimise "ideology" when raced with ANYTHING from the dems (for ref: see McCain, John Sydney)...The tax cut thing? It's temporary!..Now don't be cynical and ask how that differs from Bush's tax cuts..That's not the point!...The point is simply opposition...Remember, these guys get PAID to keep the fires stoked...It looks like the "Limbaugh economy" is as close to "recession proof" as you'll find...If the tax cuts don't help the Limbaugh's, it's worthless/socialist/communist/extremist. This is the "conservative" version of "poverty pimps" in action. Hey, I'm not mad...Don't hate the player, hate the game...The Limbaugh "game" comes in at @ $50MIL/ year....Cha-ching!

Limbaugh, Blame Yourself!
You backed GW Bush, the biggest spender since FDR so why are you upset by a potentially bigger spender? If this were a monster movie it would be entitled "Obama, son of Bush".

The Republican economic fascists have paved the way for the Democratic economic super fascists. But, by far the worst aspect of this movie is that it is a remake of "Roosevelt, son of Hoover".

But Bush wasn't content to merely wreck the economy, he claimed that it was the free market that caused the collapse! That makes GWB the greatest traitor to freedom in the last hundred years.

The next time someone tells you to "hold your nose" and vote for a big government Republican because "at least he's not as bad as the Democrat", remind that idiot of how well that choice worked out with GWB. Then tell him where to go, if necessary draw him a map.

You got that right. They are all liberals and have been for some time. We need a revolution to return the U.S. to sanity. Congress should be treated like all of these CEOs that were thrown in jail for misappropriating funds.

Yes Sir,
they are all liberals now.
"Liberal with our money."
Until we, the people, hold them accountable there will be no "change."
