Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Speaking to the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee the other day, Vice President Joe Biden said: "Israel has to work toward a two-state solution."

"You're not going to like my saying this," he added, but the Jewish state should not build more settlements on Palestinian territory, and should "dismantle existing outposts and allow Palestinians freedom of movement."

Actually, it is doubtful that many people in that audience disliked - or even disagreed with -- Biden's admonitions. The same is true in Israel where polls have for years shown widespread support for the dream of Jewish and Palestinian Arab states living in peace and aspiring to cooperation, if not friendship. As for dismantling settlements and giving up land - a commodity pint-sized Israel does not have in abundance - Israelis have repeatedly demonstrated that they are prepared to make significant concessions.

In exchange for a peace treaty with Egypt, Israel in 1982 withdrew all its soldiers and settlers from the Sinai, a territory almost three times the size of Israel. In 2005, Israel dismantled every settlement and outpost in Gaza. Both the Sinai and Gaza, it should be recalled, were taken from Egypt as the consequence of a war launched by Egypt -- one of several wars waged by Israel's Arab neighbors with the goal of wiping Israel off the map.

The result of Israel's exodus from Gaza, as the syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer recently observed, is that the Palestinians "already have a state." The problem, he noted, is that it's "a terrorist state that has been at war with Israel ever since the day the Israelis left."

The Palestinians in Gaza have chosen Hamas to rule them. Hamas is a militant Islamist organization funded and instructed by Iran's ruling mullahs. In its religious ideology, it is virtually indistinguishable from the Taliban and al-Qaeda. It wages what it calls a jihad to exterminate Israel. That is its contribution to the global, radical Islamic revolution against infidels and moderate Muslims. All of this is a matter of fact, not conjecture. Hamas leaders articulate it unambiguously. The Hamas Charter is nothing if not candid.

For example, Article 11 declares that every inch of Israel is "consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up." Article 13 states: "Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement. ... There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad." Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum has specifically rejected "the two-state solution ... because it represents a clear recognition of Israel." Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar has stated: "We do not recognize the Israeli enemy, nor his right to be our neighbor, nor to stay, nor his ownership of any inch of land."

How does Israel make peace with those who hold such views and regard compromise by other Palestinians not just as an error but as an apostasy? How does the United States facilitate a peace process under such circumstances? No one knows. President Bush and his peace processors did not. President Obama and his peace processors do not.

What we should, however, know by now is what does not work: appeasement; pretending that Hamas and Iran's rulers don't mean what they say; deluding ourselves into believing that because we would prefer to live in peace, so must our enemies (if only we would address their "legitimate grievances"); refusing to recognize that rewarding extremism and terrorism is a loser's game.

Next week, Israel's new Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, comes to Washington to meet with America's new President, Barack Obama. They will agree on goals but they are likely to disagree sharply on how to achieve them.

Obama can be expected to point out that there is now a unique opportunity for Israel to find common ground with Arab neighbors who are alarmed over the prospect of an expanding and power-hungry Iranian (read: not Arab), Shia (read: not Sunni) empire. Obama will add that to take advantage of this circumstance requires lowering the flame on the Palestinian front.

My guess is that Netanyahu will say that Israel cannot continually make tangible concessions in exchange for empty promises followed by terrorist attacks. Yes, Israel does need to "work toward a two-state solution," but with the recognition that two states are no solution if one of them seeks the extermination of the other.

Netanyahu may further argue that so long as Hamas wields power in Gaza and is making inroads on the West Bank, and so long as the Islamic Republic is backing Hamas and Hezbollah, pulling Syria's strings, tightening its grip on Lebanon, sponsoring terrorism and developing nuclear weapons, peace will remain as elusive as a mirage in the Judean Desert - which Hamas also claims. Joe Biden may not like Netanyahu saying that; on the other hand, he just might recognize that it has the ring of truth.

Why?
Why are two states a solution? Why are we heck bent on creating yet another terrorist nation so that we can go to war again in the future?

Palestinians are not capable of self governing or civility and hardly deserve their own country judging by their behavior.

Sacrosanct Israel
Characters like Lolo1 and the author make me laugh and/or sick.

Israel is always making "painful concessions" and the Palestinians are always "terrorists".

Please remember it is the utterly vile Israel that is slaughtering the Palestinians and taking their land, not the other way around.

Herman, you make me sick!
Such a fool! Keep drinking the koolaid, deny reality at all costs.

palestinians are not our allies
Palestinians and the Muslim groups are not allies of the US. The sooner that Israel retaliates strongly and destroys the evil on their border, the sonner peace will be accomplished.

Slaughtering Palestinians
Herman, the Israeli 1948 War of Independance created (by Arab estimates) about 300,000 Arab refugees (please note that Israel did not instigate that war, so the usual laws of war would specify that the aggressor states would be finantially responsible for resettling the refugees).

Now there are about 2 million Arab 'refugees'.

So, in 60 years, about an eightfold(!) increase; the largest increase in human history in that sort of time span, by -far-. Never mind that most of it consists of more recent Arab immegrants who have seen the economic advantage of claiming refugee status and having the UNWRA take care of them.

You talk about slaughter. Have you ever heard of a more incompetant slaughter? One that not only does not diminish a population, but allows it to double thrice over - a doubling each 20 years? Have you ever heard of new immigrants clamoring to join a population being slaughtered?

Do these questions cause you any sort of cognitive dissonance? Do they lead you to have the slightest doubt that you could, perhaps, have stated the matter less than completely accurately?

With bated breath, I await your incredibly insightful reply.

Settlements...
...what a funny word.

http://www.imemc.org/article/52030

"Dismantle?" How do you dismantle a city? It's absurd.

I am not normally one ...
.. to actually accuse anti-Israel folks of actually being Jew haters and Nazi sympathizers, misguided though I think they are. In fact, I have never before done so.

But in your case, Georgann, I'll make an exception.

If I am not misreading, you actually are advocating for genocide.

Congratulations, Georgann
I have finally broken my "flag as offensive" virginity because of you. I do not flag posts even if I strongly disagree with them, but you appear to be advocating the genocide of Jews, and in terms ("they are sure to be trouble here as well") that are strikingly similar to those found in the Nazi propeganda that you no doubt enjoy reading.

I'd be willing to bet $100 that you have sent money that has found its way into Hezbollah or Hamas coffers, perhaps though one of the 'charities' that specializes in such things. You are truly a vile human being, if such you can be called.

2 State Solution?
We already established 2 states. Does anyone recognize the name Transjordan? It was the land governed by Britain after the fall of the Ottoman Turks at the end of WWI. It included Jordan AND Israel. In 1948, when Israel was established, the "palistinians" received their nation. It is called Jordan. This was not enough for the "peaceful" (cough hack cough cough) muslims. They attacked Israel that very day to annihilate it and massacre every man, woman and child. This would be done to EVERYONE, muslim and Jew. The "peaceful" attacking hordes warned their "peaceful" muslim brothers to flee before the attack and that they could return to collect the spoils of war after EVERYONE in Israel was murdered. Five Arab nations invaded that day and they suffered a humiliating defeat. Since then the "peaceful" muslims have purposefully prolonged the suffering of their "peaceful" brothers to gain sympathy and support of world opinion, which has consistently supported tyrants, dictators and murders over those who seek freedom, liberty and life.

Pheebor
Good point. Georgann is clearly a psycho. But are you going to scold moses from CO for saying that all the Palestinians should be killed too?
This problem wont be solved until both Jews and Arabs abandon their rediculous racist religions.

The US has a president...
... who's working to turn us into the next Venezuala, and this clown wastes column inches on Israel? Hasn't the treatment suffered by the Pope shown us that anyone who gets involved over there will get slimed by all sides?

Israel and the Palestinians
Let's recap:

* Palestinians kill a handful of Israelis by suicide bombs and they are considered "terrorists".

* Israel kills thousands of fleeing and defenseless Palestinians by dropping phosphorous bombs of them (which Israel comically denied) and were paid for by you, American taxpayer, and they are considered "the good guys".

Insanity

could a more honest case be made?
The situation in Israel is complicated enough that one expects an honest case could be made for most positions. That makes me wonder why May and Krauthammer make such dishonest ones.

He suggests that Israel is willing to trade land for peace, but that the other side does not stick by its agreements. But the one trade of land for peace, that with Egypt, has led to a lasting peace between the two sides.

The idea that the pull out of Gaza was a trade of land for peace requires either complete ignorance or amazing dishonesty. The Israelis made clear that they were not pulling out as part of a deal. They were stupid enough to pull out in a way that snubbed Abbas and rewarded Hamas. The results are hardly surprising.

But how dishonest do you have to be to pretend that Israel offered the people of Gaza peace. This is a "state" that controls none of its borders and none of the flow of goods into and out of the territory (including sea ports don't make the dishonest case that this is Israel controlling its own border).

Anyone who claimed that an Israel without control of its borders was a free state would rightly be branded an anti-semite, what other explanation could there be for such a black is white claim at the expense of jews. But somehow making these patently idiotic claims about Palestians is considered acceptable. It makes one suspect that there is some difficulty in making an honest case against what Biden said.

What Kind of Two State System Do You Wan
Do you want two countries that are side by side? Or do you want two countries that overlap each other? From what I've been able to tell Biden and associates aren't interested in a Palestinian country and a Jewish country. They want a single country shared by two very different peoples who hate each other. That one will not work. They would be too interested in killing each other to do anything else.

Herman:
If you lived in Israel and your kids were subject to being murdered at any time by some terrorist, what would you do? Keep letting them blow up whom they wanted? Or get mad every so often and do your best to convince them that it is a very BAD idea to make you mad? Personally, I don't blame Israel at all. In fact, I'd do a lot worse! And I'll bet you would to.

If biden said it.....
If Biden said it....

Do the exact opposite........

Lon:
ONE trade of land for piece (with Egypt as you said) was successful. But there have been several more trades, all of which didn't get anywhere except more bombs. Gaza was one of them. At least keep ALL your facts straight. Until the Palestinians (and the rest of the Arab world) agreed to the existence of a Jewish country any question of peace in that area - regardless of concessions - is a waste of time. This is one time that talk will not work. There has to be some actions first - which you liberals simply can't understand.

Lon......so........
The appropriate response was 3000 rockets fired into Israel?

One honest effort at showing a sign of a peaceful nation waiting to spring about if given a chance is what the world is looking for.

Not more suicide bombers and rockets being fired in to Israel.

Islamic kooks believe that the fight to exterminate Israel is eternal....that means either they keep existing and fighting.....or Israel is wiped off the map....and the Islamic Kooks plant the flag and declare victory.......

Those are the only 2 true options when it comes to the mind of Islamokooks.....

The next time
either Hamas or Hezbollah lobs missiles into Israel goody two shoe politicians should just get out of the way and let the Israeli military do its job. Peace will only be achieved once the desire to make war is extinguished in the hearts of those who believe it’s acceptable to strap belts of dynamite around the waists of women or the disabled in order to blow up innocent bystanders. Then all those politicians and religious radicals should be rounded up and fed to the Mediterranean Sea’s shark population. In the meantime, maybe our loony leftist lemmings will realize that radical Islam is our enemy and Israel is our friend. Israel’s fight is our fight. On the other hand, maybe a two state solution will work here at home. Thanks for the idea, joey!

Herman, Georgann, Lon,
You people really hate Israel? You must if you believe the lies you are spouting. Israel has every right to the land chartered for them and every right to defend themselves. You speak of Israel being the aggressor. Defense is aggression to you then, right?

Get some facts, get some brains, grow up. Stop being hate-blinded sheep for the Democrat party!

Herman
Since the late 40’s Israel has given every opportunity to the "Palestinians" to not only accept peace but to share the land. All offers have been eventually rejected and answered with a little more than a "handful" of Israeli innocents slaughtered. The Palestinians and Muslims in general could have paradise on earth if only they would come together and to learn to “love their children more than they hate the Israelis”. Keep in mind that the land was Jewish until the 7th century when Mohammad did his thing across the known world. Maybe you have read about it, accept, pay the dhimi tax and become a second class citizen, or of course, go to prison and as time went on, die; which is now the Palestinians answer to everything. I presume you accept that approach?

45caliber
If you think that the pulling of the settlements out of Gaza was part of a land for peace deal, what was the deal and who do you think it was with? There simply was no such deal. Making an argument by saying false things does not support your cause.

The settlements were very expensive to defend with little upside, which is why Israel has no interest in trying to reclaim them. They are still better off without the settlements than with them. But it is simply a fact that they did not pull out as part of a land for peace deal.

Would it be to optimistic to hope that your other examples of land for peace deals that did not take were more real than that one?

Or if you can support your claim that it is a fact by all means explain what you think this fact was. But when you say something is a fact, the thing you say should actually be true. That does not hold with your comment.

Granite Eagle
You raise a difficult question. Suppose that you and 1 million and a half other people like you had your territory encircled by a foreign power which was preventing goods coming into your region to the extend that malnutrition was the norm among you and your people. What would the proper response be on your part. I admit I don't know the answer.

I don't like the rocket fire option, but the reality is it serves less to kill Israelis than to make the status quo difficult to maintain. During Oslo when the Palestinians kept the peace and made the status quo easy to maintain for the Israelis (although not for the Palestinians) the result was that the Israelis increased the expansion of their settlements on Palestinian territory. During the second intifada when the Palestinians made the status quo untenable, the settlements slowed down, and were even pulled from Gaza because it was too hard to protect.

So the idea that the Israelis would reward the Palestinians if they kept the peace has been tested and shown to be untrue. Would it be different a second time? Maybe, but there is no evidence to support that view.

What I have no doubt of is that if the people at this site found it easier to identify with the Palestinians than the Israelis for racial and religious reasons, their defense of the Palestinian's behavior would be as strong as their defense is currently of the Israeli behavior.

I am not as willing to defend the Palestinian behavior, just to say I understand it even if I don't like it. But then I don't agree with the people at this site about the idea that my side can put aside morality in the name of war.

So what would you do if you and people like you were in the Palestinian position?

Don
I have no interest in associating with either Georgann who really does seem to be an anti-semite, or Herman who seems a bit quick to accept accusations that are unlikely. (The use of Phosphorous is considered significant because by the arcane rules of war it counts as an unconventional weapon and so is barred if used to kill rather than illuminate. But it is not nearly as deadly as the weapons Israel uses openly and without charge of war crimes. So that charge is both unlikely and irrelevant.)

But that the Israelis did not offer Gaza peace with the pullout of the settlements is the kind of well established fact that should hardly be disputable. It is not a secret, or something being hid, that the Israelis continued to control all borders and threatened to sink ships trying to get to Gaza by sea.

There is no hatred of Israel in being honest about what they have done, and favoring solutions that could bring them peace rather than endless war.

I give Israel credit
They have more patience than I have. I'd of nuked them back to the 12th century long ago.

palestinians are not our allies
And neither is Israel or is seliing high tech weapons to potential enemies and selling intelligence it stole to states that swore to "bury you" the acts of an ally?

Darn
I thought this article was going to be about maybe forming a "RED" State and a "BLUE" State here in the old USA. Wouldn't that be a great experiment?

Israel
I always love when people use the mantra that "Israel has a right to defend themselves".

Has any mainstream politician in this country ever said the Palestinians have a right to defend themselves?

Of course not.

Two States?
Hey, I like the two states idea. The United Red States and the United Blue States. The libs can have Northeast and coast plus the Western coasts, Illinois and Michigan (I'll move). They can have all the ghettos that they made and they can be free to worship the earth as they see fit. Our red states will go back to the original constitution and we will be a well armed, soveriegn country, free to drill! baby! drill!

Stardust Girl
But you'd have to move and what to do about places like Nevada (Clark and Washoe and Carson City are blue and the rest is red) or Georgia (Atlanta is blue, the rest is red). I think we tried that too, Lincoln and his pals (many from your state of Michigan) didn't like the idea too much.

AL in MI
Your post was going to be my post! Let's run for congress.

The sad thing about Israel is even if they established a 2-state system, radical Muslims would still be unhappy with it and still dream and try to destroy the jews.

HERM
This is where we differ significantly. Israel defends herself because the Palestinians are the first to attack. Hence the "defense" instead of "offense". Israel only responds. Your liberal mind requires you to side with the attackers because they are usually crushed by those whom they attack - so you side with whom you think are the victims.

To getting older
Just exactly what Middle Eastern country is going to destroy Israel?

Thanks to the American taxpayer Israel is far stronger than all the Middle Eastern countries combined and everyone in the Middle Eastern knows it.

Israel is always crying wolf to insure the never ending flow of billions upon billions of dollars from the U.S.

GETTINGOLDERWISER
Sounds great! What shall we do with the illegal immigrants (you know the blue loons) who destroy thier own country and then want to move to ours? Sort of like the mass immigration from California to Arizona, where there are many libs leaving the mess they created and then voting for the same crap in AZ that created their problems in the first place.
What am I talking about...I forgot that we'll be well armed!

To getting older
Your blind support of Israel is disturbing.

So Israel only responds? I am guessing even Israel doesn't say that.

Remember the Israel-Lebanon "War" (massacre) from 2006. That was caused by Lebanon kidnapping 2 Israel soldiers and even that fact is under dispute.

Israel's response was so barbaric and obscene (even for Israel) I find it hard to believe anyone would side with that loathsome country.

Strange justice
HERMAN thinks that if the jihadist killed 2,985 people in our country, we are only entitled to kill 2,985 jihadist. And when the Japs killed 2,403 of our serice men at Pearl Harbor, we should have only killed 2,403 japs in return. Oh...and the killing should be done humanely (whatever that means). Boy, I sure hope our commander in chief doesn't think like Herman,

Fair play
There is no sense of fair play when it comes to Israel. I really have trouble reading some of these posts today. Gear yourself to facts and not emotions and get a grip. For every centermeter Isael gives up they lose citizens to the rabbit militants of Hamas.

Maximus
Rabbit militants? Okay, let me guess, they wear green, and carry strap-on carrot bombs?

Ever Since 1991...
America has been judged by Almighty God for embracing the policy all of a sudden of dividing Israel. That's when we started having epic-proportion hurricanes, floods, fires, tornadoes, 911, an elected impostor completely unqualified for a President, who isn't even an American citizen, and now is accelerating our imminent destruction with the pull-out of the Chinese and the subsequent colapse of the US dollar. Our house of cards is about to fall ruinously. We are about to become seemingly overnight a 3rd world country. That all of this has happened to America so soon is no coincidence; it is called JUDGMENT - a concept that few countries are even familiar with. It occurred in the Bible whenever Israel sinned. God said in the OT through the prophet Ezekiel, "I will curse those who curse you and I will bless those who bless you", and I WILL SEEK TO DESTROY ANY NATION THAT DIVIDES MY LAND!" Those are powerful words; it is also written, "Will I BE MOCKED?" They mocked God when they said even God Almighty cannot sink the Titanic; God proved them wrong in short order. If God said it in Scripture, you can be sure it will be done. His Scripture, His Words wil not be mocked. No praying can undo Scripture; this is a common misconception of many Christians. God is chastising us and ignorance of the Bible is no excuse in God's eyes. That is why it is of utmost importance that we elect Christian leaders who are extremely familiar with God's word and especially His Judgments. In 1991, George H.W. Bush went to the Madrid Peace Conference and declared the new 2-State policy would be the new US policy.

Ever Since 1991 - Cont'd...
God was not amused one bit and literally within hours of Bush's speech tried to make damn sure Bush got the message. Before Bush even made it back to the White House, as he was flying over the Atlantic Ocean, Almighty God smote his home in Kennebunkport with the so-called Perfect Storm - a storm that defied all odds - that completely caught all of the greatest weathermen off-guard. It was one of the rarest hurricanes in history that completely defied typical hurricane patterns - why? - because it was the hand of God. For more info, read "As America has Done to Israel". Every Christian should read this.

The two state solution ALREADY exists
Israel and JORDAN!!!!!

What are "Palestinians" anyway but Jordanian (and Egyptian) squatters?

As Usual...
Both of the blithering idiot criminal parties in DC and the entire government and especially the Executive Branch are completely clueless along with most Americans and especially the clueless Christian Church. It's a shame that Christian ministers ask us to pray for a government and a country that do not even know they are under the Judgment of Almighty God. In fact, Christian ministers still think we are a "blessed nation"; to which I say, OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES!" Most Americans and preachers in this nation have not even spoken out against both the GOP and Democrat Administrations that continue to pursue this policy to the peril of our nation. God does not excuse their ignorance, but they are even too ignorant of the Gospel to even know that. Where do these bums get their Divinity degrees - DC?

4 State Solution
Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon

There's no such thing as Palestine. The proposal of creating Palestine was rejected in 1948 by the Arab League when Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria decide to just conquer the place and drive out / kill off all the Jews. Jordan annexed the West Bank and flooded it with settlers. Egypt annexed Gaza and flooded it with settlers. Lebanon wound up with the Golan Heights.

King Abdullah was crowned "King of Jerusalem" and made everyone in the West Bank a Jordanian Citizen in 1950!

In 1967 they tried to finish the job, and lost all those gains. In 2005 Israel withdrew its military, police forces, and governing officials from Gaza. The response was rocket attacks and expanded terrorism and calls for genocide. Earlier in the year the border with Egypt was breached and Israel proposed just giving Gaza and its Egyptian inhabitants back to Egypt.

Egypt was not receptive to the idea of being responsible for the people it had put into Gaza and being accountable for policing their deranged terrorist leaders.

Likewise Jordan isn't keen on taking back the West Bank and having to deal with the Jordanians it settled their and the accompanying terrorist nut-jobs.

Hamas, however, is never going to be acknowledged as rulers of a sovereign nation with a charter calling for the destruction of Israel and genocide against Jews. Anyone who thinks those nutters are supposed to have the right to an air-force and to freely import or build heavy weapons installations is nuts.

HERM
Biblically, the Jews would end up being a hated and scourged people. You can chalk that one up for yourself. However, they are still the Lord's annointed people and they will recognize Him when he returns. Israel retaliates when they are attacked or threatened, as they should. I respect the Jews and their right to exist. Whether you like it or not, the Jews are to be gathered from the ends of the earth to the lands of their inheritence regardless of Herm likes it or not, it is happening.

AL
Listen, don't get me started on the illegals who are invading our country. Our jails in Utah are being filled with the most violent, vile, and degrading people on the earth - mexican gang members. This gov't won't do a thing about it because they are fully aware a growing population of gov't dependent people will continue to elect them to their power, control, and wealth, in exchange for free money.

As far as armed, well, I can neither confirm nor deny that. Big sister is probably having these blogs monitored.

RW
Not wise to blaspheme the Almighty.

RW
You're clueless, but I love you anyway.

The 12th Imam v. The 13th Elevator

Hamas is funded by Iran, who believes that only through catastrophic death and destruction will the 12th Imam return.

Muslim countries do not even have the State of Israel on their maps, which makes one wonder: If Israel does not exist, why seek to wipe them off the map?

Netanahyu offered to recognize the State of Palestian if they recognized the State of Israel. They refused.

Go, Benny, Go! ... And use The Samson Option!

2 states
The only way 2 states will come about will be by merging Jordan, Lebanon. Syria, Egypt, and the rest of the Arab states. The issue is not the creation of another Palestinian state, it is the destruction of "the occupation" that occurred in 1948.

Cliff , There is only one solution
Cliff, I agree with you that there should not be a two state solution: there should be a one state solution meaning one man one vote . Arnold Deborchgrave reported two days ago that many Palestinian intellectuals favor just that : one man one vote . The South African model seems to be gaining momentum. This proposed state of Israel/Palestine
will have to have affirmative action laws that will compensate Palestinains for past discrimination . Young Israeli children will learn from an early age the sins of their fathers against the Palestinians. They will have to come to terms with the genocide attempted against the Palestinians. Lest I foreget, there will be laws against hate speech and any Israeli will have criminal charges brought against him if he should question the widely held beliefs by held by the Palestinians. This questioner will be considered a "denier" . Hate speech will be defined as any speech which the Palestinians deem offensive.
Sounds familiar Cliff ???

Leftwingers are pathological
Anyone trying to talk sense to the Jew-haters that always seem to be on the Leftist liberal side, you're wasting your time. I just ignore them because something is not right in their brain. They are wired differently or something.

I've been to Israel and I have no idea how they can be so tolerant to these mutants people call Palestinians. There could be peace tomorrow if only these people would lay down their weapons and acknowledge Israel's right to exist. But they won't and never will.

Bibi should tell Obumba that he won't even consider anything related to a Palestinian state until they have formally recognized Israel as a nation who has the right to exist. That is only a starting point and nothing even takes place until that happens.

As for you Leftist nutters, I hope everyone does like I do and just ignores you from now on. Maybe you will then go away.

Joe biden keeps proving
why he was the dumbest guy in the senate! The Palis hate Jews and want to wipe them out. Period.

Let's get a few facts straight, folks!
In case most of you have forgotten, the land of Israel belonged to the Jews since approximately 2500 B.C. until 73 A.D., when they were routed from their country by the Romans. There is no such county as Palestine and threre never was! It is a name mistakenly given to the area because the Romans had no name for the Land of the Phillistines, known as Phillistia, So the Romans dubbed it Palestinium, instead! From Paalestinium came the name Palestine! It's amazing that the Jews lived in the area, known as Israel for over for over 3500 years and have continued to if not for the Romans. The land never belonged to any indigenous arab people. It is, for all practical intents and purposes, Jewish land ... Israel! In 1948, The Jewiah people accomplished the feat of taking back that which rightfully -- THEIRS.

By the way ...
than remotely possible a viable solution to American dependence on Foreign oil through gasoline additives and/or substitutes. Doctors at Tel Aviv University are months away from a faster and more reliable method to detect breast cancer. These and other technologies and techniques will soon be available to the U.S. and Arabs in the will benefit, as well. Regardless of the way Israel gets bullied by the "Palestinians and the rest of the world,She has done so much for the Arab people in the area such as doctors performing open heart surgery on children who would die with out it, and sharing its resources such as water and electricity. And Israel does this and more for its unfriendly neighbors.
