Do you feel the leaked information from a global warming alarmist organization is meaningful?

There has been a lot of squawking from the right about Obama attacking the investor class of business; that his plans discourage investing by raising taxes on what the left like to call “The Rich.” It is not these folks that his plans financially demoralize. It is the Creators who his plans stifle. It is the Creators that will pull us out of this recession.

So who are these Creators? They are people like Steve Jobs and Larry Ellison. They are the local retailer. Yes, they could even be your boss. These people create jobs by the sheer force of their entrepreneurial ability. They create thousands of jobs for individuals who have not or cannot create their own opportunities.

Mr. Obama’s plan says to them that they have been too successful at the cost of others. He wants to level the playing field. But he is looking at the situation totally from the wrong point of view. He is, in fact, penalizing these people for their success in creating millions of new jobs – some 40 million over the last 25 years – by encouraging them to sit on the sidelines.

My proposal is to eliminate their tax increases plus give them and the others who are waiting for their opportunity a shove. Let us honor them and lower their taxes so that they can create even more jobs.

Let’s face it; the vast majority of people in our society cannot create a living on their own. They need a Creator to give them an opportunity to provide for themselves. They are dependent upon these Creators. Obama instead wants people dependent upon an amorphous government. Continued...

Stop Taxing Working Capital
Perhaps the biggest problem with the current tax system is that it taxes the working capital of small businesses. Anyone who doesn't understand this should do a little research before commenting.

Last year my salary from my small business (30 employees) was $90K. Of course, between 1990 and 1999, while I was building my business, my average salary was about $10K per year, working 90 hour weeks. I'm not complaining. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating a successful company.

However, even though my salary last year was $90K, my income tax bill, due tomorrow, is $210K. So far this year, business is down about 20%. If revenues don't turn around, I'll be laying off 4 people I would be able to keep if the government weren't taking $210K of my working capital.

Like I say, anyone who doesn't understand how small businesses are taxed shouldn't be commenting.

Trickle up economics
When the creators are encouraged, they create wealth which leaps down to everyone. Example: Google. It takes some time for wealth to trickle up to those who create that wealth.
